I go there very regularly, but unfortunately it has been less so lately; particularly upon entering, you are approached a bit strangely. I also find it annoying that the bartender stands outside chatting for fifteen minutes with colleagues who are off duty while the customers wait. It's a shame; I hope it goes back to normal soon.

The food is mediocre; it has been better in the past. You can't expect a Michelin-starred restaurant for this price, which is fine too. The service is truly awful, unfriendly, and incredibly slow. If you have a staff shortage… don't open your place!

The food is fine, provided it is actually served. The food is not a culinary masterpiece. However, the service could use some improvement. The first three rounds were not served. Once you have been sitting there for 1.5 hours, you do start to get hungry. Furthermore, it is not a place for a nice, quiet dinner.

We were here for dinner after a teambuilding day. If 30% of the orders are actually served, that is a lot. This is not normal.

International team. Delicious food. We didn't find the lady behind the bar particularly friendly. We asked her for hot water for a baby, and she took an unusually long time. First, she made about 15 cocktails... and then another waiter got us the water. It would have only taken the push of a button on the machine. The food is delicious. However, in a large group, orders often get lost. Or, some orders only arrive 30-40 minutes later, after they've already been forgotten. The non-alcoholic cocktails are tasty and inexpensive.

Very cozy and nicely decorated restaurant with delicious tapas dishes. Beautiful, fitting music in the background. You feel like you are abroad. Visited during the week, had a delicious meal, prices are reasonable, especially during the week with the "all you can eat" concept. Extremely friendly staff (the vast majority of whom were students doing their best during peak hours). Nothing to complain about. The ordering concept is well thought out. Place an order every 10 minutes via the app on your mobile and the chef gets to work immediately. Definitely worth a repeat visit.

For the price, I wasn't expecting fantastic food, but unfortunately, everything had the feel of frozen supermarket produce. The bathroom was dirty and off-putting, with a spider in the corner.

It took a long time for the food; I had to wait an hour for a round. When I inquired, it would take another 20 minutes. In the end, I couldn't eat many of the dishes. Customer service is also poor; they just put dishes on the table without saying what they are.

The menu changes often, and some items haven't come back. I've also mentioned several times that a small bowl of rice would be a good side dish. They still don't have it on the menu. The same goes for a small cup of soup beforehand; these are the easiest things to implement. The atmosphere is less appealing than the one in Arnhem because it's far too noisy; due to the low roof and wooden floors, the sound reflects very strongly, so I was bothered by the high-pitched tones of my tinnitus all night long. So, not pleasant; you want to be able to dine out in a relaxed way, but unfortunately, that's not possible there 🥺

Great experience at Cubanita! Ate here yesterday and it was really top-notch. The food was delicious and perfectly prepared. The staff topped it all off: super friendly, attentive, and just really nice. The atmosphere is warm, the people are nice, and everything just feels right. I am incredibly happy that I went to eat here. Highly recommended for everyone!

We were there recently, and I must unfortunately complain that the dishes were very dirty and there were water stains on the cutlery. Otherwise, it was very nice. We found it easily; there was parking right in front.

Very bad. We made a reservation at 5:15 PM, and upon arrival we were immediately told we had to leave by 7:00 PM. At 6:35 PM, they came for the last round while we were still waiting for two rounds beforehand. The food was cold, extremely salty, and had no sauces on it. We repeatedly told them we wouldn't be served again. Foreign staff were unintelligible. We also spent the whole night in the toilet. Never again, so awful. Ugh.

This was a real disaster. The food was mostly lukewarm and took ages! (Between 20 and 40 minutes per round.) I repeatedly told them it wasn't as it should be, and they said they'd report it to the kitchen each time! We ended up going home and received a 10% discount on the bill by having some drinks deducted from the bill. The waitresses remained friendly, but it must have been an unpleasant evening for them too, as we saw and heard many people complain!

The food is fine. You can't expect a culinary highlight given the concept and the price. The service could use some improvement. The waiter (long-haired and mainly working behind the bar) came to our table, or rather, he was standing at the table behind us, and called out our choice of concept. With or without drinks? Nothing was explained, so we opted for nothing. He then asked if we wanted a bread basket. Since he decided to stand behind us instead of at our table, we couldn't hear him three times. He apparently didn't appreciate this, because the third time he almost shouted "bread basket." It's understandable that repeating yourself isn't pleasant, but standing at the table and making an effort to connect with the guests seems more practical and enjoyable for everyone. The atmosphere among the guests was excellent, and the rest of the service was also excellent.

What an improvement from, say, a year ago. Dutch-speaking staff! They even regularly ask if everything is alright, if there's anything else they can do for you, and don't just dump everything on the table like they do in many other la cubanitas. And a big plus for me: coffee with your dessert! Good job!

Food poisoning!! I ate here last Sunday evening, but unfortunately, it was a very bad experience. Of the four tapas dishes I ate, about half were ice cold and the other half were merely lukewarm. Even simple dishes like corn on the cob were not served at the correct temperature. I know that the food here is pre-cooked and then only deep-fried or reheated. That is precisely why it is concerning that dishes are served cold, because if food has been sitting for a while and is not properly reheated, bacteria can develop. The consequences were serious: the next day I have never been so sick, which strongly suggests food poisoning. Additionally, while visiting the toilet, I walked past the kitchen and took a quick look inside. What I saw there did not inspire much confidence: the kitchen looked anything but clean and hygienic. For me, this was a very disappointing and worrying experience. Food that is not heated properly and a lack of visible hygiene are unacceptable. I will not be coming back here.

The waitresses were friendly. It was a shame that the person behind the bar started cleaning up at 9 p.m. and loudly removing bottles. Crates were placed on the bar while people were still seated! Not very hospitable, so I won't be returning.

For a fixed price, you can order something every ten minutes, as long as you're hungry. Two dishes per person per order. The food was delicious. Plenty of choice. It sometimes took a while for everyone to get their dishes. But in the end, we got everything we ordered. And they didn't turn their backs on us when we were one of the last people to sit down. Terrible concept. Every 10 minutes, you can order two dishes each using a QR code. The dishes didn't arrive at the same time, so enjoying a meal together wasn't possible. I already find a QR code awful because a phone doesn't belong at the table when you're having a nice meal out. Tapas was mostly junk food, too. The cocktails were also undrinkable. It's a real shame to end my birthday like that. I was truly disappointed. It's also a shame that you don't really have any contact with the staff. It's just nice to have a friendly, helpful waiter who recommends a tasty dish or something. It used to be a decent place, but unfortunately, not anymore.

We had a lovely dinner here with friends. We had the all-inclusive package with drinks, which cost around €36. The food was often mediocre and/or cold (though some dishes were very tasty), and the service wasn't great either. However, I think the price-quality ratio is excellent, considering it's really cheap! All in all, we had a lovely evening and I recommend it if you're looking for a pleasant evening for a reasonable price and the quality of the service and food isn't as important to you.

When we arrived, the interior was full, so we were asked to sit outside. Forty-five minutes and seven requests later, our online ordering mode was finally activated. Half an hour later, the first round of food arrived, but without drinks. An hour later, it finally arrived, and after asking five times, we also had drinks, but still no second round of food. Ultimately, we sat for over two hours and were only able to eat four rounds of food plus dessert. Then we had to leave because we still had a long drive to get home on time. Unfortunately, we didn't receive a few things from the rounds we ordered. We told the staff, who said they would inquire, but they didn't get back to us. Dessert also arrived before the last appetizers. We also asked if we could sit inside, and they said there wasn't room yet and that they would let us know when it was. When we paid around 2015, there were no more waiting guests and plenty of tables available. What a disappointment, we left hungry and frozen from the cold outside 😟

Never again for us. It's truly filthy. Cutlery, plates, menus, even food was stuck between them, the table, the walls—everything was covered in food scraps and dirty grease stains. Even the staff were wearing dirty clothes, and that wasn't after a hard day's work; they had just opened. We got up and left. I wouldn't even let my dog ​​eat at La Cubanita Nijmegen.

The service was downright terrible. The male waiter (light-skinned, long hair, Nijmegen location) was arrogant and offered no apologies. Especially on a Friday (and it wasn't even busy), you expect the staff to at least slow down a bit and treat customers with respect. This was absolutely terrible value for money. No attention to guests. A strange system of serving the ordered courses, meaning you don't get your food at the same time as your table companion. Dishes are carelessly thrown on your table.

We went to La Cubanita to have some casual drinks. We waited around 20-25minutes to order the drink, and another 15 minute for that drink to arrive which was also not very good. We even tried to go inside and order it in the bar because of the long wait. Unfortunately going to this place resulted in wasting a lot of time for us.

We tried a lot of food. Everything was delicious. Wonderful flavors. When we return to Nijmegen, I'll book a table here.

The toilet is a bit meh, and the building has some broken bits here and there, but the food, the service (when it's not busy), and the atmosphere are absolutely top notch.

Never again! How incredibly bad, many things are not fresh or not tasty or cold. We arrived around 18:00 and our first snack and drink only arrived half an hour later and not even at the same time, very unpleasant! Very long wait and the table was almost full the entire evening, it was simply not collected. All in all, we each ate 3 snacks, the rest was all returned because it was cold or dirty. And at the end we still had to pay way too much.

The bartender is way too slow, don't get an arrangement with drinks because I waited more than an hour for my drink! The dishes don't come out of the kitchen at the same time and therefore you don't eat at the same time as your company, the staff doesn't know where to be half the time (don't know the table numbers) there is no logic in it! Really bad and bad! Used to be a really nice place but little is left!

Unfortunately we had a very bad experience at La Cubanita in Nijmegen. Upon arrival we were unable to scan the QR code and we asked several times if someone could help us. Despite seeing that it was busy we were completely ignored by the staff. No effort was made to speak to us or help in any other way. After waiting for 25 minutes without any service or explanation, a girl finally came who clearly didn't know what to do either. She couldn't help us, and the whole process was extremely chaotic. It seemed like everything was going wrong within the restaurant, staff seemed overloaded and there was no overview or structure at all. After waiting for so long without any kind of service we decided to leave. This was our first and last time at La Cubanita Nijmegen. A very disappointing experience.

At the end my wife had already finished her desert and I still had to get my spare ribs. This took no less than half an hour. Nice dishes on the menu, which you don't see everywhere. Pleasant music, nice decor. Quality of the food was very variable. Cheese croquettes and chicken pieces in honey were fantastic, ham with melon and tagine chicken (watery) were really mediocre. Service was ok, but our table was dirty upon arrival (although it had to be covered again) and so was the neighboring table. Hand soap in the toilet, toilet needs some maintenance in general.

What chaos. An assistant manager who does not keep what she promises, and walks around like a headless chicken and actually does nothing. Eating what doesn't come. Afterwards it's over, but no one lets us know. The food that did come was good. The only plus point was the friendly barmaid, who was the only one who had a bit of insight. And was allowed to apologize for the farcade. Sorry, it was busy and there was a shortage of staff. However, the manager and assistant had already gone home. Once and never again.

We went to La Cubanita on a Wednesday. There is a wonderful atmosphere here, with top service. We ate our fill and with a light price. My favorite dish is their chicken skewers, followed by their salmon. Gracias La Cubanita☺️

Het was erg koud in de serre. Raar om met je jas aan te moeten eten. Tijdens het nagerecht kregen we nog eten van de ronde er voor. In het lava cakeje was geen lava te bekennen. Was een bruine smaakloze spons. Ik ga voortaan naar een andere vestiging.
