We thoroughly enjoyed our night out at ‘t Zusje Nijmegen. It was a fun evening, also with the other guests.

Super nice concept. Good and very friendly service. Highly recommended if you want a quiet, cozy evening of dining.

Had a delicious meal, something for everyone. I was here with my son, who is not an easy eater due to his autism, but thanks to the concept of 'Het Zusje', there is always something tasty to eat, even for him!

The service was very good, just like the food. What is noticeable, however, is that bread or toast is being served with more and more dishes. This is, of course, very filling.

We have been visiting the various Zusjes for years and have seen the quality of the food decline. The staff is very friendly and it is a cozy restaurant, so that is not the issue.

We had a wonderful dinner last night at 't Zusje in Nijmegen! From the moment we walked in, there was a warm, cozy atmosphere. The concept with the small dishes is ideal for sampling a bit of everything. Every single piece of food was incredibly delicious and beautifully presented. The service also deserves high praise: super friendly, attentive, and quick, even though it was pleasantly busy. We had a fantastic evening and will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

Great location, good service. Logistics are excellent. The food is tasty, but not special. It all tastes bland. They advertise "Burgundian enjoyment," but I think that is something completely different. There is little rich, full, or generous about the portions you get there. Moreover, the menu should be taken with a grain of salt. It is all beautifully described, but on the table, it is a bit disappointing.

Nobody on the terrace; there is room to have a drink, but not to eat. And the next bus is an hour later. Received unfriendly service with no understanding of the situation.

It is lovely to go out for dinner here. The concept is perfect. 2 courses per round. The food is very tasty. The staff is quick and friendly. Parking was a bit more difficult, though, because it was full right here at the restaurant. I can recommend eating here!

My reviews are either 'glowing' or 'sad/disappointing' (otherwise I wouldn't write a review). Unfortunately, this one falls into the latter category. A case of 'Murphy's Law'(?) We arrived at 6:30 PM and after more than 2 hours, we had received 2 rounds of 2 tapas dishes each. The tapas at the beautifully decorated restaurant were okay (comfort food level, just a step above fast food and far removed from culinary). A bit bland and lukewarm. By then, the children in the party were tired of waiting, and besides, it was getting a bit late for them. There were 14 of us, and some still had a 1.5-hour drive home. It was only when I went to inquire that the truth came out: a short circuit in the kitchen and consequently panic there. Very annoying, but at the same time: why weren't the guests informed? There was no answer to that. Moreover, a short circuit can be dangerous, all the more reason to inform guests. The waitress (otherwise nothing to complain about, by the way) understood the frustration, and that was it. When the last round of 'main courses' arrived (by now almost 2.45 hours after the start), the rice turned out to still be raw. We left it untouched. The desserts had already been ordered, and after part of the party had devoured them, it was time for that part of the group to leave. It then turned out that the other part was still waiting for the desserts. Not exactly a successful conclusion to a party. Eventually, someone did come to apologize to our party, but as far as I could see, only to our group (because I had mentioned it?). As a gesture, one drink per person was removed from the bill (only for our group?). Despite it being an unfortunate series of circumstances, also for the staff, I find the way things were handled disappointing (particularly the failure to inform us). Our package cost €43.95 pp excluding drinks (and due to the long wait, quite a lot was drunk instead of eaten), and for that, we received 6 small tapas dishes and 2 desserts per person in about 3 hours. From now on, we’ll go eat at my 'little brother's', because 't Zusje performs far below what you would expect.

We ate at 't Zusje for the first time today with some friends. But never again for us! It took a very long time for the round of food to arrive. The waiter reeked of old sweat. (That is really unacceptable, sorry) Deodorant wouldn't hurt in such cases. I don't understand why his colleagues don't speak to him. The food was mostly just filler with things wrapped around it. The schnitzel you order looks like a chicken nugget, but the rösti that sits under the schnitzel as filler is four times as big. Next time we will go to Mundoz in Duiven. Cheaper, faster, and better. Missed opportunity!

Dining for two. It had been a while for me. Actually, that was because I didn't like the food that much last time (in Cuijk). So now in Nijmegen. Friendly service, that's for sure. Our regular hostess introduced herself. Nice! The food wasn't fantastic again, especially for the price. Some dishes were quite large, mainly due to the amount of "side dishes," so to speak (the pasta with the meat, the bread with the salmon, etc.). We still had a nice evening and thoroughly enjoyed the air conditioning (outside temperature 36°C or so). But 't Zusje won't be returning to my "favorites list".

Unfortunately, we chose to eat here. We had to wait a very long time for our dishes. As a result, we received dessert before our main courses. Unfortunately, there was no solution for this. The desserts would melt if they were taken back, and the main courses were not yet fully ready.

We visited Zusje in Nijmegen again today for the first time in a long time. I have to be honest, the quality of the food has deteriorated! Old salad, little variety, and pasta with every meat dish and pasta with the fish. It looks more like an Italian restaurant. Nothing to do with tapas anymore!! The service was friendly though, and she honestly admitted that she had heard before that the quality had declined... so no more Zusje for us.

This is our favorite restaurant. The food and staff are always very good and the atmosphere is pleasant.

Overall, the meal was tasty, but there was a lot of fennel in all the dishes, which is a shame as it overpowers the other flavors.

Compliments to the team at 't Zusje Nijmegen. They handle allergies very carefully, and they are friendly and hospitable. They did an extra check the day before because we were with a larger group. In short, they really show that they care about the customer and leave nothing to chance. And of course, we had a delicious meal! Thank you!

The food was disappointing compared to the other 't Zusje locations we visited. With the dishes you choose, you automatically get fries or other items, even though you can order them separately. I don't think this is okay because I won't be eating the fries or other items. I choose the meat, vegetable, or fish dish, not the rest that is added. This is not the case at other locations either; it is strange that they don't do the same. The staff is very friendly.

Got it as a birthday present with friends for a bite to eat at my sister's place!! Well, I didn't call again for this, what a disappointment. Our first bite was served after an hour, and we didn't get water until we asked three times. Bread was still in the oven for the first hour. Spring rolls had minimal filling. Meat appetizers with a lot of filling (for filling), which is such a shame, but seems like a way to save on meat (at least that's my opinion). While the meat is tasty, it's negated by too many raw vegetables, pickles, or chips, etc. Crème brulee was limp and watery. Some appetizers weren't warm enough. And I see the caramel sauce on many desserts. The building is beautiful, the decor is nicely done. There's smoking in the restroom, or there's a smoking area next to the window or something...gross. Friendly service. Less is more, meat is great, don't clutter it with extraneous items.

This was our first time, and we'll definitely be back. A wide variety of tapas dishes were available, from Dutch classics to international and Asian cuisine. For €42 per person, you can order as many tapas as you like per round – unlimited! The food was very high quality and delicious for an all-you-can-eat buffet!

We had a delicious meal with good beer on tap. Depending on the package you choose, you can order 2 to 5 dishes per person.

There were four of us and we were given a table in the conservatory, which was positioned very cramped against the wall. One person could barely push back her chair or it would have hit the door. The table behind us was also close to ours. The dishes were fine. I did expect something different with the avocado salad, though—just small pieces of avocado instead of some sort of avocado dressing. I find myself getting full quickly after a few rounds, so a tip for myself: one dish per round instead of two 😉
