We had a wonderful evening at this cozy restaurant. We arrived in Hoorn on a Friday night; the fair was scattered throughout the city, but still under construction. So unfortunately, we didn't get to see any attractions. We both ordered spare ribs, my partner with garlic and I with spicy. As expected, spicy wasn't really spicy, but that's common in the Netherlands. Spicy is mild, which is also fine. Deliciously tender meat that just falls off the bone. The food is excellent, the atmosphere is small but cozy. Definitely recommended if you like grilled meats and good food. We were with a group of 13, so reservations are definitely recommended. Unfortunately, it's not possible on weekends, as the place isn't very big.

Just had the most amazing fillet steak I have ever had, it was unbelievable so tender it was like cutting butter on a warm spring day. You have to try this and bring a spoon as you don’t need a knife to cut the wonderful taste sensation.

The manager is very impolite and rude. I called to place an order according to their policy that you need to order a day before when it's a big order. I did exactly what the policy said ( this is on their website), yet I received 3 different instructions upon calling to make an order. When i called ,They put me to talk to the manager, and he came on the phone, not asking what my order was, but to say he is busy, don't call back bye!

Never before have I eaten such delicious, juicy and well-prepared meat. Staff need to be trained better. Is not well informed about the work they are supposed to do. They are friendly, but lack catering experience. Very dark from the outside, some people who doubt whether the business is open. Caribbean music in an Argentinian restaurant??? Hmmm weird

I thought it was very strange that you had to order (and pay for) vegetables and, for example, fries with a dish. This made the already not too exclusive food very expensive. So a bit of an unpleasant aftertaste.

The food is really great! That is also possible for those prices, but it is a pity that you have to order everything separately and therefore also comes separately. So you get a large plate with a piece of meat and the potato dish you choose comes separately and so does the sauce(s). The garnish is not worth mentioning. The service is minimal, does not ask if it is to your liking or the like, only what is necessary. As soon as a table becomes empty, it is cleaned fairly quickly with a chemical spray that is sprayed liberally while you are eating next to it. Would you approach it differently, that chemical smoke spreads everywhere. It was very hot in the shop itself and they did not open the door, even though you also have dishes with a grill on the table itself...phew...so hot. I think it's quite a lot of money for a poor experience or atmosphere. Again, meat was really good quality but the rest...More So a one-time promotion.

From the outside, this restaurant didn't really appeal to me. I went inside anyway and in retrospect I was happy about that! Good menu, reasonably priced and super friendly service!! And the icing on the cake was a delicious meal. In our party: spare ribs, sirloin steak and T bone steak. Really well prepared meat, super tender!

We enjoyed eating here. The Beef de lomo, which is buttery soft, is an absolute must! Friendly and attentive owner and the girl at the counter also gets a 10 from us. We don't live nearby but will definitely come back.

Yesterday we ate at Guapa grill for the first time, wow, what a recommendation. The patties with meat, but also those with cheese, the box of ranchera and the carpacio were delicious. As a main course, a buttery tender tenderloin with grilled onion and cheese, delicious side dishes such as grilled garlic cloves, grilled vegetables, grilled onion rings, potato gratin, fries and garlic sauce as garlic sauce is intended. Dessert no longer suited me, but the French coffee is also nothing to complain about. Nice, quick and friendly staff, the decor is sober, but cozy with cowhide on the wall. Toilets clean, which is also important. Really nothing to complain about and definitely worth repeating.

Ate here on Christmas Day. To be honest, I don't really understand the many good reviews. The food is quite substandard, and the presentation of the dishes is not much better than in a cafeteria. Fries fried in months-old oil, the Rib-eye served completely raw, and I'm not even going to waste words on the mixed salad. Staff and owner are grumpy and don't understand it at all. The atmosphere in the restaurant is lifeless, and the staff quite disinterested. I have been to many restaurants in Hoorn, but this one is certainly one of the least, this is just a waste of money.

Gisteren voor het eerst gegeten bij La Guapa, we begonnen met een goulashsoep, deze soep verdient opzich al ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐, daarna een hoofdgerecht (lamskoteletjes) was ook erg lekker!! Maar de soep zorgt ervoor dat we zeker terugkomen!! En de volgende keer gaan we zeker de steak eten, dat schijnt de aller lekkerste te zijn in de weide omtrek.

Het eten is heerlijk..de sfeer is prima.. service goed echt een aanrader

La Guapa is al jarenlang ons favoriete restaurant, een plek waar niet alleen mijn vrouw en ik, maar ook ons kind graag komt. De gerechten, vooral de onweerstaanbare Mixed Grill, zijn altijd vers en heerlijk. Het feit dat we maandelijks vanuit Almere naar Hoorn reizen, getuigt van de uitzonderlijke kwaliteit van dit restaurant. De vriendelijke en klantgerichte eigenaar draagt bij aan de warme sfeer en maakt elk bezoek een plezierige ervaring. Een culinaire reis die we met het hele gezin blijven koesteren!

Prima eten en bediening. Kan wat sfeervoller worden aangekleed.

Het vlees is heel goed, de vissoep ook. De deserts zijn qua portie ruim, maar niet bijzonder. Makkelijk parkeren voor de deur en service is prima.

Delicious food and great costumer service. The meat tastes so fresh, one of the best I ever had in the Netherlands. The costumer service was also great. The waiter (I wish I knew his name, but I know he comes from Sri Lanka) super nice and attentive. We had a great time. The deserts were also very good, especially the chocolate mousse. I definitely recommend.

Ein super leckeres Steakhaus. Es ist wirklich zu empfehlen und die Bewirtung ist auch sehr gut Besonders hervor zuheben ist die wohl schönste holländische Kellnerin sie hat dazu noch ein wunderschönes Lächeln. Von mir hätte sie 10 Sterne verdient.

Verrassend lekker gegeten (met 6 personen) bij dit Argentijnse grillrestaurant. Het zachte lamsvlees was botermals en rare zoals ik gevraagd had met toch een heerlijke grillsmaak. De frietjes waren lekker krokant en de salade heerlijk fris! De bijbestelde sauzen waren overheerlijk. De portie was meer dan voldoende. Ook de gerechten van de rest van het gezelschap waren meer dan lekker. De bediening is zeer vriendelijk en je zit er heerlijk en ruim. En… GEEN achtergrondmuziek! Na afloop nog een heerlijke Argentijnse koffie en helemaal gelukkig naar huis…

Super lekker elke hap heerlijk mals vlees. Aardige mensen ook de eigenaar.

The steak was so small and the plate was for about 19 euro and does not include any salade or fries on the side, it was including only some few herbs! The plate was so poor, I don't recommend for anybody..
