Yesterday with a group of 10 girls ate at Incontro. Everyone had a delicious meal, top service and very friendly. Recommended!

What a great restaurant. Friendly welcome, delicious food at a unique location (train station Kersenboogerd Hoorn). Don't hesitate, just do it! We will definitely come back.

Sergio and Gerda from Incontro prove that you don't have to go to Italy for delicious authentic Italian food (although it is still fun). Various typical Italian dishes were served, including the less obvious but delicious combinations such as pasta with cheese and raspberry. Alternated with classic Italian pizzas and Panna Cotta for dessert, this was a real feast. We would love to come back here again!

We were served delicious dishes here. There was no choice menu and every dish was a surprise, but at the end of the dinner we had a great evening. We will definitely come back again.

This restaurant was “selected” because of the Italian tasting on the menu and some reviews. We have not regretted that. The restaurant in the former station building is small, but therefore the attention for the guest is great. The various dishes were delicious and prepared with good ingredients. And as if you were in Italy, there was limoncello afterwards. All that for a fair price, including being waved goodbye with a handshake and a smile.

Almost impossible to find, but located indoors in the station. A fun and, above all, tasty experience.

5 stars – Cosy, cozy and delicious food! Restaurant Incontro is highly recommended! It is a small, cozy restaurant, which contributes to the cozy and intimate atmosphere. The service is fantastic: friendly, attentive and always with a smile. And then the food – delicious! Authentic Italian dishes, freshly prepared and full of flavor. As if you were in Italy for a moment. Moreover, the prices are very reasonable, especially considering the quality. We will definitely come back here!

An authentic Italian restaurant where every bite is an experience! Three of us enjoyed a chef's tasting, where we were able to try a wide range of delicious dishes. Every dish was a culinary surprise and exceeded our expectations. Definitely recommended! (I didn't take videos of everything – the food was too good to wait! 😉) The atmosphere in the restaurant is warm, cordial and friendly. As soon as we entered we felt welcome by the friendly reception. The service was attentive, professional and made us feel comfortable. What makes this restaurant extra special is the passion of the owner. You can taste that he cooks with love and dedication and wants to personally share that enthusiasm with his guests. The location is also unique – a real hidden gem! The restaurant is located at the station where train tickets used to be sold. From the restaurant you can see the trains and passers-by, which offers a special view, without experiencing noise pollution. In short, this restaurant has everything: very pleasant price, value for money, fantastic food, a nice atmosphere and a unique location. I will definitely come back here! Until next time!

A tradition to eat here every year with our family and then chef Sergio Giving free rein to what is on the table and that is all equally tasty and more than enough. In short, enjoy food and drinks in a great atmosphere and good service. We hope to return here for many years to come.

A small cozy restaurant with nice friendly staff who can give you a red card if you are not careful 😉 Super tasty food, very friendly owner. A slightly smaller but cozy place...that is definitely worth a visit. they have delicious limoncello and apparently they also do wine tastings! Price ranges are not expensive, food is of good quality!

From the outside you think...what could it be, but don't judge a book by its cover! The food is fantastic, especially if you give Sergio free rein and choose the surprise menu. Together with a good glass of wine, good service and the atmosphere, it is a good time here at the station. Highly recommended if you like honest Italian food.

Food was very good. Started with a salad with homemade bread and oil. As a main course I had ravioli with beef and a delicious sauce. My girlfriend only had this variant with penne. Nice service and a fantastic chef.

This was really great. Even though you order for 4 courses, the food just keeps coming until you are full. The enthusiastic chef seems to think on the spot what will be on the table, so that he can do his own thing. This works out very well. He cooks with passion and you can taste it. Delicious food, nice atmosphere and perfect service, highly recommended for everyone and certainly not too expensive. Everything is wonderfully fresh and homemade.

I'm normally not a fan of Italian food but the food served here, no words for how delicious the food here is! Highly recommended to eat here. I would definitely eat there regularly if I lived closer. Unfortunately I don't live nearby and it's not a quick drive from Harderwijk, but I will definitely come to Hoorn for the delicious food served here. Authentic and informal Italian restaurant in the station building of Hoorn Kersenboogerd. We ate a 4-course menu via AvdD with 4 people. Carpaccio or Caprese, zuppa di Manzo, Strozzapreti ragu Maiale nduja and simple mascarpone dessert. All very tasty, especially the Strozzapreti. Delicious pilot grigio. Excellent sangiovese with the main course. Owner somewhat selective in attention to guests. Friendly guys in the service. All in all, a very nice address in a location where you would not immediately expect this.

Delicious food, but not a tour de force. Special location with a view over the station and yet very cozy and atmospheric. Can park nearby.

We ate here and for us personally it was a mockery. Afterwards we drove past a pizzeria because we were still hungry. It started with an Italian roll with a base of tapenade and a very small piece of butter. Not enough to spread the sandwiches. Then we got a celery soup, but it had no taste and the ravioli in it was exactly 3 pieces. It tasted like a pick-me-up only diluted. The main course and dessert were not really our thing, the sausage that came with the dish was like an eraser, tough! The portion size was also very disappointing. We were still hungry afterwards and ordered something from a pizzeria. Of course, there's no arguing about taste, but it wasn't that busy inside, which may explain some things. Unfortunately, we haven't had such a bad meal in a long time. The service is excellent, but we do not recommend this restaurant.

Fantastic!!! We had a five-course high wine. We really enjoyed the delicious traditional dishes and beautiful wines. The sommelier presents the wines in a fun and smooth way. At the end of the evening it is also possible to order wines. The atmosphere was great! A boy and a girl performed live. Both have beautiful voices. Very nice to listen to between courses. At the end of the evening you could submit request numbers. Service is very nice and helpful. It is a small, but attractively decorated restaurant. We will definitely come back here.

A very attractive restaurant in a very nice location (original) (reservations are recommended!)! With the Chef's menu you always make a good choice, including delicious quality meat that is very well prepared. In addition, the service/contact has a personal touch, you feel like a king as a customer!

This was our second time eating here. The restaurant is small, so you should definitely call ahead and reserve a table. Short opening hours (November 2023 only until 9:00 p.m.). The restaurant is a family business. Very friendly staff, very good food. The boss cooks personally and also likes to visit his guests at the table to ask if everyone is happy! The ambience (view of the platform) is great, you don't notice anything of the trains or the passengers getting on and off. Uncomplicated arrival (if you take the train 😉), lots of bicycle parking spaces and parking spaces nearby. It certainly wasn't the last time we ate here!!!

What a special and memorable evening! You really get the feeling that you are being welcomed into someone's home. And the delicious pizzas certainly make it worthwhile to eat there and enjoy the delicious food in this attractive restaurant. Pure Italian hospitality.

Hier met een wfdeal gegeten, meerdere gangen. Antipasti van de andere mensen met een deal zag er anders en gevarieerder uit als die van ons. Ene tafel krijgt meer aandacht van het personeel als de andere tafel. Wij vonden het eten en de gerechtjes niet super, maar 'gewoontjes'. Planten in het restaurant zijn bijna allemaal dood/moeten opgefrist worden van dode blaadjes. Verder heeft het restaurant wel een leuke sfeer ondanks de kleine ruimte. Gezellig, maar wel wat propperig op elkaar. Wanneer je niet de huiskamer-eravring krijgt, door geen speciale aanspraak/service/bediening, vind ik deze Italiaan niet erg onderscheidend van de anderen.

Heel klein smal restaurant. Redelijk goed eten. We hadden een bon 50% korting alleen dat gerecht blijkt niet te bestaan. Dus korting op nix dat vind ik minder. Prijs met korting was het waard dubbele zeker niet. Antibpasta was top

Zorg er voor dat je dit restaurant niet mist vanwege de ietwat onconventionele locatie. Zeer goed en gezellig restaurant! De Italiaanse eigenaar en zijn vrouw zijn zeer kundig en vriendelijk. Leuke avond gehad, nog een tijd staan kletsen. Komen zeker terug.

Een hele goed Italiaan. Van binnen heel leuk aangekleed. De proeverij is een aanrader, de kok denkt goed met je mee. Elke week worden er weer nieuwe gerechten geserveerd. Het bier en fris komt zelfs uit Italië.

Leuke entourage, in restauratieruimte van station Hoorn-Kersenboogerd. Warm ingericht, alle gerechten waren goed. Ook de bediening was uit de kunst.

Het voelt alsof je bij familie komt eten, zo'n gezellige sfeer. Lekker eten, voor een goede prijs. Wij gaan hier zeker terug komen.

Super lekker eten bij Sergio ! Weet wat ie doet. Super lekkere sfeer, en met volle buik naar huis!

Waanzinnig lekkere pizza en heel vriendelijk personeel. (En lagere prijzen dan veel concurrentie) Laat je niet van de wijs brengen door de locatie, want deze kok verdiend een restaurant op een chiquere plek. Wou dat ik dichterbij woonde, maar beter voor de lijn van niet. Want voor mij is dit tot nu toe 1 van de beste Italiaanse pizza's die ik gegeten heb. (Inmiddels 2 keer gehaald, aanpassingen zijn ook geen enkel probleem) En ik heb er nogal wat geprobeerd. 🤣👌 zeker een aanrader! (Ps. Om daar te zitten is wel wat krap, maar als je gewoon het eten in je mond stopt, denk je daar niet meer aan. 😉)

Wij hebben onlangs de high wine gedaan bij Incontro. Deze is zeker aan te raden en super gezellig en uitstekend verzorgd. Wij komen de volgende keer ook weer!!

We hebben erg genoten vanavond. De chef verraste ons steeds weer met voor ons nieuwe en onbekende gerechten uit de Italiaanse keuken. Erg lekker. Aardige vent met een leuk Italiaans accent die ons traditionele Italiaanse lekkernijen heeft laten proeven. Aanrader!

Genoten van een Italiaanse proeverij, die uit meerdere gangen bestond. Eenvoudige, maar lekkere gerechten. Bediening was ook super. Restaurant zit op een bijzondere locatie, nl. in het oude stationsgebouw. De treinen stoppen op enkele meters achter het restaurant.

Er is geen menu kaart en de chef vraagt persoonlijk wat je wilt eten. Zit in een oud stationsgebouw

Goed eten, goede wijn en super sfeer.

If you are missing Italy, this is were you have to go. The food is real italian food and high quality. The owner is super nice and the staff are very friendly. I enjoyed every moment of it.
