Had a good meal and drinks. A bit pricey though.

Cozier La Place than the other locations. Friendly staff, and the food was great.

I received good service at this La Place. My order was prepared quickly, and I even got a discount via the app. However, I generally find La Place quite pricey. The food was very tasty, though, and the restaurant was clean and fresh inside. I just find it a bit noisy inside sometimes, especially in the corner where the dishes are washed. That can be a bit disruptive at times. All in all, a fine experience.

The food is tasty and good, but the filling on the sandwiches is rather meager. Previously, there was much more herb cheese on them, etc.

Fine. Nice atmosphere. A few spots outside. A bit pricey, but where isn't it these days? The clearing cabinet was full and messy, with full trays of glasses nearby as a result, even though it wasn't busy. Men's entrance toilet handle defective, temporarily fixed.

UNTIL MISERABLE. Food is expensive now. Fries with mayonnaise more than 6 euros. You have to eat that amidst the rubbish.

Had a delicious satay with fries and salad. Despite being located right next to the highway exit, you don't notice it at all. Inside, it is spacious and the tables are spaced far apart. Additionally, there is ample parking, two lovely outdoor terraces, and a nice play area for children. Next to the restaurant is a beautiful farm shop with delicious products.

I went to "La Place Zoeterwoude" for breakfast today. Just to get out of the house for a bit and have breakfast in a different environment. There are plenty of parking spaces available, and even spaces for charging your EV (2 spots). So charging and having breakfast, or lunch or dinner, can be combined with EV charging. The staff is friendly and helpful. It was possible to swap a croissant for a savory sandwich. Because a croissant with sweet toppings like jam isn't really my thing. All in all, great service and worth a repeat visit.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Big sitting area with lots of space. Outdoor play area for kids. My favourite thing to do on 2nd Christmas Day!!!

Just a quick trip to the convenience

One of the nicest and most extensive La Place restaurants, so a firm favorite! You are happy to drive a few extra kilometers for the focaccia with chicken and bean sprouts. I would like to make one comment: the lady preparing the sandwiches did so without plastic gloves and was licking her fingers clean every now and then in between; surely this could be done differently...

Nice spot, rural next to the highway. Limited choice when we were there. What you get is okay. The staff wasn't really at their best that day. Sometimes you notice that someone is working, but without much enthusiasm.

1 small hamburger with espresso €17.10 is way too expensive.

Yesterday I ate a delicious fresh serrano ham pizza! I will definitely come here more often. Because the staff are very friendly and the location is nice!

We sat outside, but what an unpleasant atmosphere; it was a mess outside, and the cigarette butt bin was broken. No coffee spoons with the coffee; they said they don't have them anymore. I don't know if we will go there again.

We found this branch in a state of mourning; too little staff, how is that even possible? Where is the Netherlands heading? On the outward journey, the trash can was full up to its neck, with birds picking it out, but no business card at the entrance. A day later, on the return journey, the entrance was clean, but no hot food except tomato soup (again a staff problem, we heard). So we had a freshly made tuna sandwich instead, which was nice! The ladies' toilet was a mess! I've heard it's shameful! This for such a great chain! We're not giving up on La Place just yet, hoping things will get better at this branch!

The food was ok ish but expensive for what it was . No seasoning is a big minus for me.

Tasty and pleasant dining, however the noise is quite overwhelming (lots of noise, and many conversations audible over each other) and a men's urinal that flushes so hard that splashes land all over the floor next to the urinal, and no, that wasn't just urine.

This has been our favorite La Place in the Leiden area for years. We have been coming here with great pleasure for a very long time. It is a lovely location, surrounded by greenery, nicely spacious, and with free parking. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and welcoming, making it a pleasure to visit every time. What I did find a real shame, however, is the new service rating kiosk right next to the cash register. To me, that comes across as if there is little trust in the staff, whereas here that actually seems completely unnecessary. As a guest, it makes you think twice. There are already plenty of ways to leave feedback or a review these days. That is why such an extra rating kiosk feels a bit superfluous to me. Especially at a location where the staff has been doing their best for years and the service is simply top-notch.

Ideal meeting location along the A4 near Leiden. Excellent product range and a bright space with a terrace.

We went there but couldn't eat. The restaurant was very dirty. The tables, chairs, and floor were filthy. Dogs are allowed inside too. Not a nice restaurant!!

Very cozy for lunch or brunch. Kids can have fun at the playground, which is clearly visible from the terrace, while you enjoy your coffee. Rustic surroundings. And there is a fresh cheese vendor.

Freshly prepared food, no one at the cash register

On Sunday around 4:30 PM, I went to this place. The restaurant was empty. There was one girl behind the counter, serving sandwiches, etc., and one guy in old, faded sweatpants came to take the checkout. Friendly enough, but I wouldn't accept staff acting like that. There were very few sandwiches to choose from; there were three kinds of sandwiches, one of each. The trays were filthy, not to mention the tables. Absolutely filthy; this wasn't a one-day affair. There were no coffee spoons; I had to use a soup spoon to scoop sugar from a separate container for the coffee. Unfortunately, you won't see us back.

We arrived at your restaurant on Sunday around 6:00 PM. It was dinnertime, but the restaurant was noticeably quiet. I wanted to order chicken satay, but unfortunately, it was no longer available. I then opted for a pizza funghi, but the sauce for that was also out. I ended up with a Margherita with mushrooms and onion, and to my surprise, they were also out of mushrooms. What made it even more strange was that I saw a container of mushrooms right in front of me, but they turned out to be exclusively for a more expensive, pre-made pizza. That felt quite disappointing, to be honest. The pizza I eventually received was fine, but the whole process felt unnecessarily laborious. It's a shame that so many basic ingredients are missing on a quiet evening. Better preparation would really improve the experience.

Had a wonderful experience at La Place! The food was incredibly fresh, but the highlights were definitely the pastries. The Black Forest cake was delicious, rich and perfectly made. Great atmosphere to sit back and relax. Highly recommend!

This place is a little different from the rest, and we absolutely loved it. We came with the whole family and had a wonderful time. The atmosphere, the coziness, the view, and then there's that fireplace... We had a wonderful weekend! I recommend it to everyone. Compared to the other La Plazas, this one is a bit more romantic. There's also a playground for children...

Arrive at 6:40 PM for dinner and they're already cleaning up. Only tea and coffee are left. An hour and a half before closing time! The restaurant should be open until 8:00 PM.

The food is freshly prepared and delicious. It's a shame to have to wait at a deserted checkout with warm food. The coffee pouring at the checkout results in cold food being served in the waiting line. It's a shame, the food is excellent.

What a crappy place. The food is tasteless. The "cheese" sandwich is a charred "something." The plastic sandwich was supposed to be "filet americano." Inquiry revealed the plastic was veeegan... Never again for us.

Wide selection of healthy food! You can clearly see what you're eating (whole ingredients), which is nice. The atmosphere is great, and the staff are friendly! Ample parking.

The website says "gluten-free is always possible." It's not. They only had one gluten-free item, and we were told, "We should have known beforehand." However, you can't make a reservation, so it's a strange story.

As usual, you'll enjoy a delicious breakfast. If you're on vacation, it's a pleasant stop for a relaxing moment. If you're heading to Schiphol Airport to catch a flight to Malaysia, be sure to visit Penang and The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. Have breakfast there too, for RM28.90, which is €4.75, for this Breakfast Bagel with tea or coffee.

Coffee with something on the side. Be sure to use the app for special offers! Otherwise, you'll pay the high price. The coffee isn't good. It's as if the beans were roasted at too high a temperature. The coffee tastes bitter and "burnt."

Really? People go here and pay €13.75 for this very mediocre pizza. It says "Tonno," which I think refers to a few slivers of dried-out tuna. Also, undercooked onion, some bell pepper, and 1, yes, 1, arugula leaf. Ugh, what a disgrace! Not busy, yet dirty tables. That was once and never again.

Just got a sandwich. You used to get a large pistolet with a ham sandwich or other sandwiches. Now you get a soft, old pistolet and pay the full €6.35 for it. Last time for me!

We've been coming to La Place Zoeterwoude for breakfast for a while now, and Inge, the cashier, really creates a great atmosphere. She's skilled and knows how to keep everything running smoothly. She's very friendly to both customers and staff! We really enjoy coming here when she's working. She's a valuable addition to La Place with excellent expertise. 👏

The atmosphere also depends on the company, and it was good. The lady at the counter gave us great tips.

We regularly visit Le Place in Zoeterwoude with the girls and it's always a party. It's a great place to relax, but also to do something fun. Or work from home 😬 Both young and old can enjoy themselves here. There is a small indoor children's play area inside, and outside children can play in the sand, on the slide, the climbing frame and the raft. There are plenty of play options for the little ones. Inside there is a changing area and a separate children's toilet, in addition to the regular ladies' and men's toilets. Next to Le Place is a separate cheese market, also nice to have a look around. The location is perfect: a large meadow around it, close to the highway and easily accessible. There is more than enough parking space, and parking is free for visitors. The coffee is always good, the cakes are delicious, and you can also order hot or cold dishes and drinks. Also handy: if you scan your customer card, you save points with which you can get free cake or coffee, for example. I would especially like to put Inge behind the counter in the spotlight. She is incredibly friendly, talkative and helpful. A real winner! If she is not there, I think the atmosphere is a bit less pleasant. She makes the difference and always provides a warm welcome.

Man, man, man, what a disgrace La Place has become. Ordered a ham and cheese sandwich. 2 mini eggs with a mega thick slice of ham. No salt or pepper and no butter on the rolls. Small salad completely forgotten. €10.20 totally not worth it. Last time ever

Great food, as you would expect from la place. Wide choice. Plenty of space to sit, both inside and outside. Inside nicely and cosily decorated. Outside not special but fine. Nice big playground outside where children can enjoy themselves for hours, inside also a nice little play corner. Perfect place for parents to relax while the children play.

⭐☆☆☆☆ Disappointing experience I have ordered a hot drink here several times, but unfortunately they are always lukewarm or even almost cold. I have clearly indicated this, but nothing is done about it - no apologies, no improvement. Very unfortunate, because it could easily be solved with a little attention. No more coffee or tea for me here for the time being.

Laplace is now open during dinner time! The hamburger is a real quality hamburger, no sauces or bites like what you get at standard fries places/or McDonalds. fries are also of high quality with small skin and very crispy slightly sweet taste with good balance this is what you want to be a step above your regular fries. 5 stars! 09-05-2025 Update. Since today the fries quality has taken a real hit. these are regular standard fries that you see at every place. Very disappointing but like the person who rode this. really the best way possible to get it crispy, kudos! but there's still only so much you can do. Hopefully this was only a temporary stopgap because there was nothing and no cuts. As yet the burgers are still very good as before! (this only applies to the RUND burger) Could we encounter this fries problem again? We won't be coming back. We really want quality!

Top place, great service and good food!

La Place a Zoeterwoude is a convenient and pleasant stop for travellers, especially if you are traveling along the nearby motorway. The location is strategic and the restaurant offers a welcoming environment, with large and well-furnished internal spaces, as well as a beautiful outdoor garden where it is possible to eat outdoors on the hottest days. It's the kind of place that's great for a quick lunch break or snack while traveling. The atmosphere is relaxed and the staff friendly, which makes the stop even more pleasant. As for the food, however, I have to say that I wasn't particularly impressed. I ordered a ham sandwich and a vegetable dish, but both seemed rather plain and not very tasty. Nothing bad, but nothing memorable either. In summary, I would recommend this place for its convenience and ambience, but I wouldn't go there specifically just to eat.

Nice place, tasty fresh food and well cared for! It is self-service. Parking can be a challenge. I think it is used as a carpool spot.
