Beautiful, spacious restaurant. Delicious, fresh ingredients. A great place to catch up over a cup of coffee.

Food and service are fine, just a bit pricey.

Good food but certainly not cheap

Wide selection of healthy food! You can clearly see what you're eating (whole ingredients), which is nice. The atmosphere is great, and the staff are friendly! Ample parking.

As usual, you'll enjoy a delicious breakfast. If you're on vacation, it's a pleasant stop for a relaxing moment. If you're heading to Schiphol Airport to catch a flight to Malaysia, be sure to visit Penang and The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. Have breakfast there too, for RM28.90, which is €4.75, for this Breakfast Bagel with tea or coffee.

The website says "gluten-free is always possible." It's not. They only had one gluten-free item, and we were told, "We should have known beforehand." However, you can't make a reservation, so it's a strange story.

Coffee with something on the side. Be sure to use the app for special offers! Otherwise, you'll pay the high price. The coffee isn't good. It's as if the beans were roasted at too high a temperature. The coffee tastes bitter and "burnt."

Really? People go here and pay €13.75 for this very mediocre pizza. It says "Tonno," which I think refers to a few slivers of dried-out tuna. Also, undercooked onion, some bell pepper, and 1, yes, 1, arugula leaf. Ugh, what a disgrace! Not busy, yet dirty tables. That was once and never again.

Just got a sandwich. You used to get a large pistolet with a ham sandwich or other sandwiches. Now you get a soft, old pistolet and pay the full €6.35 for it. Last time for me!

We've been coming to La Place Zoeterwoude for breakfast for a while now, and Inge, the cashier, really creates a great atmosphere. She's skilled and knows how to keep everything running smoothly. She's very friendly to both customers and staff! We really enjoy coming here when she's working. She's a valuable addition to La Place with excellent expertise. 👏

The atmosphere also depends on the company, and it was good. The lady at the counter gave us great tips.

We regularly visit Le Place in Zoeterwoude with the girls and it's always a party. It's a great place to relax, but also to do something fun. Or work from home 😬 Both young and old can enjoy themselves here. There is a small indoor children's play area inside, and outside children can play in the sand, on the slide, the climbing frame and the raft. There are plenty of play options for the little ones. Inside there is a changing area and a separate children's toilet, in addition to the regular ladies' and men's toilets. Next to Le Place is a separate cheese market, also nice to have a look around. The location is perfect: a large meadow around it, close to the highway and easily accessible. There is more than enough parking space, and parking is free for visitors. The coffee is always good, the cakes are delicious, and you can also order hot or cold dishes and drinks. Also handy: if you scan your customer card, you save points with which you can get free cake or coffee, for example. I would especially like to put Inge behind the counter in the spotlight. She is incredibly friendly, talkative and helpful. A real winner! If she is not there, I think the atmosphere is a bit less pleasant. She makes the difference and always provides a warm welcome.

The food was what I am always used to from La Place, the surroundings are beautiful, but the service is unfortunately less so, employees were actually not even present at the food and the cash register.

Man, man, man, what a disgrace La Place has become. Ordered a ham and cheese sandwich. 2 mini eggs with a mega thick slice of ham. No salt or pepper and no butter on the rolls. Small salad completely forgotten. €10.20 totally not worth it. Last time ever

Great food, as you would expect from la place. Wide choice. Plenty of space to sit, both inside and outside. Inside nicely and cosily decorated. Outside not special but fine. Nice big playground outside where children can enjoy themselves for hours, inside also a nice little play corner. Perfect place for parents to relax while the children play.

I have clearly indicated this, but nothing is done about it - no apologies, no improvement. Very unfortunate, because it could easily be solved with a little attention. No more coffee or tea for me here for the time being.

Laplace is now open during dinner time! The hamburger is a real quality hamburger, no sauces or bites like what you get at standard fries places/or McDonalds. fries are also of high quality with small skin and very crispy slightly sweet taste with good balance this is what you want to be a step above your regular fries. 5 stars! 09-05-2025 Update. Since today the fries quality has taken a real hit. these are regular standard fries that you see at every place. Very disappointing but like the person who rode this. really the best way possible to get it crispy, kudos! but there's still only so much you can do. Hopefully this was only a temporary stopgap because there was nothing and no cuts. As yet the burgers are still very good as before! (this only applies to the RUND burger) Could we encounter this fries problem again? We won't be coming back. We really want quality!

Certainly not bad for a roadside restaurant. Food is tasty but a bit on the small side in terms of portion size. The outside terrace is quite pleasant and you hear surprisingly little from the highway

Top place, great service and good food!

La Place a Zoeterwoude is a convenient and pleasant stop for travellers, especially if you are traveling along the nearby motorway. The location is strategic and the restaurant offers a welcoming environment, with large and well-furnished internal spaces, as well as a beautiful outdoor garden where it is possible to eat outdoors on the hottest days. It's the kind of place that's great for a quick lunch break or snack while traveling. The atmosphere is relaxed and the staff friendly, which makes the stop even more pleasant. As for the food, however, I have to say that I wasn't particularly impressed. I ordered a ham sandwich and a vegetable dish, but both seemed rather plain and not very tasty. Nothing bad, but nothing memorable either. In summary, I would recommend this place for its convenience and ambience, but I wouldn't go there specifically just to eat.

Nice place, tasty fresh food and well cared for! It is self-service. Parking can be a challenge. I think it is used as a carpool spot.

Pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff and always willing to have a social talk. It is nice to relax both inside and outside with a beautiful view of the green heart, from which you can also follow a walking route. Lovely playground for children.

Made a stop from the far north of the Netherlands. Beautiful atmospheric La Place and friendly service. Food was tasty/tasty.

The food is ok. Nothing special and sometimes looks a bit messy. Furthermore, there are few electrical outlets for people who want to work there or they are very awkwardly placed. For example, there is a long table with sockets right next to the children's play corner and the same applies to the table with a hanging socket. The building has two floors, but floor two is never opened to the public. People who want to schedule an appointment in peace or want to continue working can sit there, I think, but I don't think that is a priority for this location.

I thought it was a blemish in terms of eating a cold chicken burger and the fries were too greasy and limp, so from now on I'll just drive past the place with a big smile because they don't earn anything from my money anymore.

The breakfast was poor, it used to be better & more for less money.

Second time eating here. The chicken in the chicken burger was cold, hard and dry just like the previous one. You can just taste that the chicken is not freshly prepared for you. Waste of your money.

Recently ate here and I wasn't really satisfied. Satay, meat was dry and there were a lot of tendons in it, the chicken in the chicken burger was also dry! The glasses for coffee looked very dingy, as if they had not been washed. At the checkout the pastries/cakes were uncovered. There were flies on it and everyone who paid was breathing on it. That really needs to be much better La Place!

Cozy place to have lunch, drink coffee and work. Staff above average friendly and service-oriented. Always time for a chat or to help you. Super!

Great food and a good chef behind the grill

Why does this place smell so bad... better extraction could really be looked into. When you've just arrived, you're done eating because of the bad smell and you take the smell home with you because it's in your clothes. Too bad, I say missed opportunity!

On Boxing Day we had a delicious lunch here with the whole family, 19 people, large and small. One long table had been reserved for us in the cozy corner by the fireplace. The atmosphere was friendly and personal. The service was excellent, we thought along about how we could take advantage of the discount promotions. Everyone could make their own choices and enjoy the delicious products in their own way. Thank you!

Nice location even though it is right next to the highway. Relatively busy during lunch. As a result, the man who fried the eggs and made some other things had a long list. La place has deteriorated a lot. Often little choice. Few staff, so paying at the coffee bar can take longer. Food quality is mediocre if you compare it to De la Place from 4 years ago.

Always delicious herb cheese sandwich. Husband had apple pie and sausage roll. Coffee lukewarm and prices quite high.

This is a nice La Place. The food was good and so was the service.

There was a lot of sand in my salad and it didn't look very fresh. Fries with Sate was nice, but way too expensive for what you get (19 euros for a small portion). I liked the orange juice and the atmosphere. As long as you don't eat here, you should be fine.

It's been a while, at the end of the afternoon we wanted to have a bite to eat. Little choice. The food was not warm, had no taste and was very unpleasant. Apparently the staff was done with it.

At half past seven we arrived with three elderly people waiting for the boarding bus. According to an employee, they were still working. Service? After fifteen minutes in the open air, an employee told us that we could go inside. Quite nice. But should have been a little earlier. Opening hours are until 8:00 PM, but almost everything has been cleared before 6:00 PM. Shame! It's not a pleasant atmosphere to eat here when they finally want you gone and closed.

This is a very handy place for a quick lunch. Situated next to a carpool place; very handy for cycling and walking in the area. Cafeteria style with good salads, sandwiches and cakes. Good for children, there is a large outside play area.

What could have been a wonderful breakfast at a beautiful location was messed up because they did not accept my credit card. Typical local management trying to save a penny by telling me that it is my fault that they don't follow the group standard. I should almost refer to them as thieves. The guy on the checkout was polite and not to blame.

Nice employees and the food is very good and delicious

It's not the first time we eat breakfast or lunch there. We always come back to eat something delicious again. Everything is appetizing and fresh. Quickly because you apply it yourself. Lots of tables inside and outside. A beautiful playground and zoo for children among the greenery. I highly recommend it to everyone.

Delicious fresh chicken sandwich. Due to my pregnancy, I am temporarily unable to eat the raw bean sprouts that are standard on the chicken sandwich. It was no problem to make a new sandwich and I was even given the option to get lettuce as a replacement. Great service!
