Cold food, poor quality, poor selection even though it doesn't look bad from the photos, exorbitant price for a spoonful of cold mushrooms! Plus some carrots, €7!! 🤷‍♂️ Dirty pay toilet! Even one star is already a lot for this place.

Breakfast (booked at the hotel): The selection was quite limited, especially if you arrive later in the day. Allergens were clearly labeled. Food storage was sometimes suboptimal; for example, the sliced ​​cheese and scrambled eggs were dried out around the edges, which I found disappointing because it could easily be improved. Overall, I'm used to better quality and selection at La Place.

Nice, original selection and reasonable prices. The service was motivated (which has been different in the past).

We took a reasonably priced breakfast deal for €8.95 (see photo). We arrived just before 10:30, and freshly made rolls were provided. The staff were friendly and helpful, but the only downside is that the restaurant can be quite noisy when they're busy in the kitchen.

Disappointing experience. The sides of the apple pie were dried out, probably because they only have pre-cut portions available. This causes the pie to dry out, whereas previously, it was freshly cut. Despite my request for a fresh piece, this wasn't possible. Furthermore, I found the pie itself far too sweet. There was also no lactose-free milk available for the coffee, which I find very disappointing. I hope this will improve in the future. June 2025

The restaurant looks inviting, and so do the food photos. Unfortunately, it's just marketing. The food is very poor, I think it's better to go to McDonald's...

I had dinner with my husband tonight. We had a chicken leg with fries and chicken satay with fries and a small salad. We had a delicious meal. Neither the chicken leg nor the chicken satay was dry, but tasty.

Very good for a rest stop, especially considering German standards. The restrooms were clean and didn't smell of urine. The food selection is great, whether it's pizza, burgers, salads, sandwiches, or desserts. There's even a selection of vegetarian or vegan options. There's also a large selection of drinks. The dining room was also clean, and there was also a small play area for children. We'd happily stop here again.

Had a little look at La Place. Overall it looks really lovely, but I think it is very expensive for cold drinks and some of the food. Pizza didn't look to be to prohibitively priced nor did a cuppa and cake but some things like many of the sandwiches were overpriced. Just decided to go elsewhere.

La Place is exactly what you'd expect from the concept... we love it.

Great little spot to grab a bite to eat. We were charging our car nearby and walked over to check it out. I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of options, including vegan. The veggie soup and banana smoothie were very tasty. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The parking is convenient and there are plenty of seating options inside and out. Hopefully that expand their vegan offering to include vegan cheese for the pizzas.

There were two different prices for the satay. The cash register then determines what you pay. You're not thanked for your attention and paid the lower price, which would be polite and, in my opinion, normal. Then you barely get it warmed up, otherwise the pre-cooked chicken would be dry. The hamburger from the special offer menu was a child's size. The Magharita pizza and soup were far too salty. The price was the same. Without buying a drink, the price mentioned above was almost €60. A good price, but the quality isn't worth it.

Plenty of seating, it wasn't really busy on Sunday evening around dinner time. Price quality ratio is right. The chicken leg was not a culinary highlight but for 14 euros a complete meal with meat fries and salad is quite ok Anno 2025.

Entered 1 minute before closing time and was still helped in a friendly way. Everything was already cleaned up but a pizza could still be made. When I wanted to pay at the toilet, an employee stopped me because I could go for free. Very friendly! Since La Place became part of Jumbo, the food and especially the sandwiches (little cream cheese etc.) have deteriorated. However, the hospitality makes up for this. Recommended.

What was really nice is that the staff really looks at you. My disabled wife was given access to the disabled toilet without asking or fussing. Absolutely top La Place. Furthermore, we had a great meal 🙂

For lunch La Place is definitely worth more than two stars, but for dinner the place was unfortunately miserable. Rarely had such poor quality chicken with a chicken satay. Also the 'salad bar' is very limited and not very inviting. The hamburger was just good, that's true. Friendly staff too.

Made a quick business stop here. Hardly any customers, but had to wait very long (10 minutes) at the cash register for a cup of coffee and tea. Almost 8 euros, but that's fine these days. A quick trip to the toilet, where another €0.80 per person has to be paid. The McDonalds is 500 meters away. further on the left, that's where we'll stop next time.

One of my favorite places to take a break while traveling. While charging your car, you can really eat and relax here. I don't know how La Place does it, but I have the impression that they choose the most nice and friendly employees. The staff is Champions League. I admire. The food is delicious. You can grab something ready-made quickly or ask for something from the menu to be prepared. There is barbecue and pizza and soups and classic meals. Unfortunately, the prices are quite high. The paid toilet is absurd. Large and lighted parking lot. I recommend.

What a ball tent!!!! If you come from Toverland with your grandchildren and eat something white at about 6.30 am. The display cases were almost empty. I thought: "I'll order an extra sandwich", but no, that was no longer possible (2 large plates that recommended it.) The tomato soup we then ordered was crazy, with the sandwich with herb butter you could smash someone's brains, and with the previous order they had probably thrown too many fries in the fat, so we got it with it. Staff had more time for themselves than for the (few) customers. I understand that during DINNER TIME!!! there was hardly anyone there. Only once for me and never again. I thought it was still the La Place like V&D used to be. But no!!! This is a disgrace to that name.

Reasonable roadside restaurant on the A67 near Sevenum. We came here because we had to load our car (excellent Algeco loading location for the restaurant). It took quite a while before we could place our order (two bouncers and a burger). In itself they were fine dishes (but not very special). In terms of pricing and what you get, in combination with the service and sanitary facilities (not very fresh) I give it three stars!

Poor quality for no less than 45 minutes of waiting. It is certainly not the fault of the employees, but serious doubts about the parent organization that allows inexperienced employees to run a restaurant. Not recommended in relation to the price.

The burger here - although simple - is really tasty here. Fresh and not too complicated. Fries are tasty. Price is also good. Do not order steak here, they opt for round steak which contains little fat, making it quite dry and lacking in flavor, despite the fact that it is quite expensive. My girlfriend is always very pleased with the pizzas here.

La Place heeft tegenwoordig helaas een wat beperkte keus aan gerechten, maar de kwaliteit is wat ons betreft in deze vestiging zeker in orde. Ook zijn de medewerkers vriendelijk en attent en hoef je niet lang op het eten te wachten. De zaak is sfeervol ingericht en middels de La Place app zijn er geregeld leuke aanbiedingen te krijgen. Deze vestiging wordt ook door de gasten van het aanpandige GR8 hotel gebruikt voor het ontbijtbuffet en eventueel de lunch of het avondeten. De openingstijden zijn ook lekker ruim: van 7:00 tot 21:00 uur!

We should have gone to the KFC next door. La place used to be much better. A quality aria has better quality. We had 2 very expensive bacon cheese burgers. Meat had a bad taste. As if old burgers were taken out of the freezer. No spices or anything. Bacon and cheese also no taste. The small fries were limp. The bag of mayo was not enough for this. Disappointment.

Vanuit een dagje Movie Park hier naartoe gereden en samen een pizza gedeeld (salami met kappertjes), mijn partner een smoothie en ik een Ice Tea Green gedronken (gezien we heel de dag door al hadden gegeten en gedronken hadden we niet heel veel honger). Pizza vers gemaakt en echt heerlijk, netjes personeel en alle tafels waren hartstikke schoon! Niks op aan te merken!

Large restaurant with an industrial decor. Lots of seating, but the space feels cold. Toilets are on the first floor and, as is customary at La Place, you have to place the dishes on the clearing belt yourself. Good stop if you drive on to Germany.
