Very nice place with good food and coffee, staff were helpful and friendly

The food was okay, and I want to especially acknowledge the kind man who cooked for us — unfortunately, I didn’t get his name, but he was working at the wok station around 14:00. Salute to you, sir, for your great service! However, I was very disappointed with how a blonde woman working today (25/10/2025 between 14:30–15:00) spoke to us. which we didn't know that filming the foods is not allowed... now We understand and fully respect that filming might not be allowed for privacy reasons, but the way she approached us was very rude and disrespectful. A polite explanation would have been completely fine — we’re people, and we appreciate being treated kindly. We’ve visited this place many times and were planning to leave a great review, but this experience really left us with a bad feeling. The service, unfortunately, was quite disappointing this time.

Location-wise, it's in a beautiful spot, and everything is high quality and beautiful.

Disappointing experience at La Place We paid a ridiculous amount: a slice of apple pie €4.70, two bottles of drinks almost €28, and then two simple cookies. For those prices, you'd expect at least decent service, but even the restrooms were locked. So if you needed to use the bathroom, you had to go to McDonald's and pay another euro. A real shame—way too expensive for what you get.

Incredibly poorly organized, it takes ages. The staff are very friendly, but it takes way too long. We had to wait over half an hour.

Free toilets, cheap and delicious food

The food was tasteless, I didn't even understand what I was eating, the salad wasn't fresh

La Place remains consistently good. We had a delicious hamburger with bacon and cheese and fries.

The food is good, but very expensive. The cashier was unfortunately incredibly grumpy. Customer service is nowhere to be found here. Find another job if you don't like it!

The food is delicious but quite pricey. The staff who prepared it were very friendly. The woman behind the counter comes across as grumpy, which she also lets on to the customers. There was a strong urinary odor near the restroom when we were there.

Decent stop on A1. Recommend their asian section. Rest of the items are typical of other locations.

Great ham sandwich, though I thought the honey mustard was a bit sparse. The iced coffee was delicious, though!

Lovely La Place, incredibly friendly staff, and delicious food. It was clean. Absolutely perfect.

It's a nice place to stop just before you arrive in Amsterdam for a cup of coffee or a smoothie. They also have delicious sandwiches and soup.

After an extensive lunch you have to pay 80 cents for the toilet. Next time somewhere else, it wasn't all that nice.

It is not expensive, I am quite hungry. I ate quickly. You can easily get there from the highway. Nice staff, help you well and professionally. The food is fresh and quickly prepared. You can also have a meeting there. There are many delicious dishes and it is quiet inside. Hygienic and the knowledge about the food is good!

Issa's pizza is really fantastic!

Was going to eat a sandwich first but then I got into a conversation with Issa. He asked if I had ever eaten there to which I replied no. Then he made sure that I changed my sandwich choice to this great pizza that he baked. Was super tasty and thanks for the service.

I had agreed for a change. It was nice and quiet, enough space. Great!

Worthless. 6:45 pm, everything gone. Then just a wok. Also up. I became extremely angry. Along a highway! Worthless. Suddenly the wok was possible. Apparently people wanted to go home. Dirty tables etc. Never again.

They are super nice people. I come there almost every week with my children because of the play area and service. Issa always makes a special children's menu for my youngest.

Unclear. There were no bouncers today. The gentleman became irritated when we asked. Because we had to look more closely at the sign with a bouncer that had been taped away. Along the way we just wanted a bouncer. There are about 30 different signs. The grill side was fully open with lighting, but you couldn't order anything there because the gentleman standing behind it said that it was still closed. .Not a pleasant stopover... Upon entering, there was a very large puddle of water on the tiled floor at the entrance... I said something about that, but when we left 15 minutes later the puddle was still there, and there was no sign warning that it could be slippery....

Ate here with my daughter, she had the satay For 19 euros you expect 2 or 3 skewers of satay with some fries. However, she got 1 stick with quite a lot of fries Expensive satay!! I had the classic burger and it made me sick, stomach cramps, vomiting I filed a complaint about this but received no response, then contacted again but still received no response

I loved eating the soup at this place, La Place 😋😋😋. One of the best I've had in the Netherlands 🇳🇱🇳🇱🇳🇱.

Nice thing, that's why 2 stars. However, the prices are exorbitantly high. For 2 cappuccinos from a machine, so not made yourself, 7.20 euros. Who comes up with this? Average price in Mederland is 3.21 for cappuccino. So we are on the high side here. That is possible, but please make sure it is freshly prepared.

Very friendly and helpful service! That's actually the only positive thing... the food tastes good, but nothing more than that, the salad bar "meets" all the healthy hypes of the moment, but a regular salad... Just go for a 'steak' is never sold out. (Mayonnaise may cost a bit…)Unfriendly atmosphere. Opening hours… closes very early for a roadside restaurant, just before Amsterdam, main artery A1!! So if you're late don't bother...sanitary drama with tickets that don't work, devices for water, soap, washing/drying hands?? Why can't you just wash your hands??!!

We had a delicious breakfast here, we were late but were helped immediately. Excellent service from the staff, egg was made extra, sandwich was made extra which was no longer there. Perhaps a slightly more expensive breakfast than elsewhere, but the atmosphere is great, the quality of the food is great and the staff is very customer-friendly.

Issa, the review as promised. The pizza tonno was delicious. Extremely friendly and personal assistance. The tip to cut the pizza into small pieces was absolutely correct!! Good service, even better pizza. And all because of Issa.

Veggie wok here means 95% pasta and 5% vegetables. For which you pay 12.60e. Vegetarian means that you offer an ALTERNATIVE to meat, not omit the alternative and then charge the same price for it.

Wok prawns delicious Friendly and welcoming staff, especially Issa.

Tastiest pizza ever eaten! Compliments!!

Chicken was dry. I have forgotten the name, but it was chosen on the advice of the chef. Salads are tasty, you can create whatever you want to mix. It's also nice that there is free water to tap.

Fantastic meal. You can see and taste that the food is cooked with love. The recipes are also original and innovative, and the team seems to enjoy working there. It's nice to be able to have a nice, quiet and good meal after a day at work. Do yourself a favor and skip the neighbors' food ;-)

Delicious food, especially the Pea Soup

Roadside restaurant with good choice for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Very expensive indeed! Ideally located on the A1 motorway with ample parking.

I was amazed at the variety of fresh, tasty meals. The service was excellent and fast, despite it being busy. Large dining area as well as a terrace. Tasty food, clean tables plus a friendly and efficient staff make this place a worthwhile stop.

A large and comfortable roadside restaurant with various types of dishes and drinks; you can charge your phone at the table on the right near the entrance. You are allowed to consume your own food and drinks.

Wow. The Italian pizza chef served me a truly masterful pizza (Margherita). One of the tastiest pizzas I've ever eaten. Bellissimo! My wife's noodles and pastry were also tasty. Great location with excellent pizzas!

What a beautiful La Place this is! Really away from the busy road and a nice break to rest. The pizza chef baked a really delicious pizza for us! Recommended! And they also have a microwave at their service spot for baby food. Super handy!

La Place location with a very large seating area. There is a child's play corner as well as a cosy style lounge with fireplace. Lots of seating available. La place offers a semi self service style food counters with fresh food, some cooked to order and some pre made. Generally healthy l, tasty options. Toilet is paid only.

The food was delicious, but the ordering system they use is super time-consuming, which means it takes a long time to place your order.

I am a truck driver and I never actually eat at those roadside restaurants along the highway, but by chance I found myself stranded here in Muiden to spend the night and thought I would take a look inside and see what they have to 'gnaw' on. So you can also get pizzas here and they are freshly prepared by a real pizza chef! Very friendly man with love for his profession! And you can taste it, I've rarely had such a good pizza! pizza is prepared entirely to your personal taste with fresh products. I'll definitely return! You are very stupid if you go to the neighbor (yellow M) while you can also eat a fresh pizza from this cheerful pizza man 😉

Good food for the price. The staff is a bit far away from the customer. Sometimes it's like you don't even exist until you ask for attention. Then you get an answer, but not wholeheartedly.

As usual, high prices, dirty tables, cleaning up your own mess and also that of your predecessors. For these prices you expect a clean table and that the mess left by your predecessor has been cleared away. McDonald's is much nicer and cleaner, service is of paramount importance there.

It has been a long time since I have eaten such delicious sandwiches at La Place. Excellent and worth repeating.

Along the highway. Location is fine. Next to La Place is Macdonald's. Gasoline station and charging station for electric cars.

Beautiful modern la place branch where you can eat and/or drink a variety of things. Ideal for on the road, toilets are also available here. However, it costs €0.80 to go to the toilet. You will get €0.50 back with a la place purchase.

Delicious lunch with average prices... in a beautiful, atmospheric restaurant...

Not so clear what to get where. Coffee luke warm. Toilets dirty although you have to pay for admittance. One other guest. Choice of food rather limited.

It is a nice place if you want to have a quick lunch while you are driving somewhere. I ordered eggs on bread with ham and cheese. It was good. I also ordered a mint tee but there wasn't a tee there just a mint there. I suppose this is local specific.

Great selection of food. We had breakfast there with a small child and the staff were really very friendly. There is a small play area at the back. We could have spent the whole day there. The toilets are also very clean.

Wow! Can't say anything else! Delicious pizza! The expectation was a decent pizza... but there is a real pizza chef who is passionate about his profession! He served me a delicious pizza that ranks as one of the best pizzas I've ever had! Also a nice, spontaneous man! I will definitely go here more often!

The LaPlace of 3 years ago is no more. Only after insisting was my marinated chicken sandwich made on focaccia. The rolls no longer taste good, thick and dry instead of airy and tasty. The fries with rendang had a good taste, the quantity was limited. Fortunately, you don't get an annoyingly few napkins. All in all, La Place is no longer the la-place-to-be. For a highway snack, it is OK if it is comparable to McDonalds or bone-dry bread from the gas station.

Best place to go for some healthy salad and if you want to go by car Its just another La Place but I feel that it is more spacious, cleaner and accessible (by car)

Great to have something to drink and enjoy, but lunch or dinner is also possible. The prices are slightly higher than average.

Recently had something to eat at this La Place with my father. After having a nice and delicious meal and arriving home, we discovered that we had forgotten our things in the restaurant. We then decided that before we drove back, we would first contact La Place by telephone to see if the items could be stored on site and/or stored. We were helped enormously by La Place employee Serena who really took the trouble to look for us and give us feedback. In short, really great service!

Restaurant besides the highway A1. Has a variety of food, good amount of choices. We had the steak meal with frites and a small salad. The food is decent, steak is not big(about 150gr), a bit tough but tasty. The restaurant is very large with a lot of seats and area for kidsto play. Good atmosphere and overal clean impression. Kitchen closes round 7pm.

Very expensive and for a bowl of lettuce soup and 2 coffees 25 euros, the heating could have been on, it is a maximum of 15 degrees here, all guests sit with their coats on....

Always fresh and delicious. Good handling and service. Delicious food. Especially if you are on the road, this is a great place for a meeting or lunch. It closes at 7 o'clock in the evening!

On the way to Amsterdam we stopped at this restaurant at 9:30 am, which had just been open for half an hour. The entrance was neat, everything looked clean. Unfortunately, the quality of the coffee, cappuccino and two chocolate milk with brownies was disappointing; the brownies were undercooked and didn't taste good. The fact that you have to pay to use the toilet, even as a guest, was also disappointing. In general, the price-quality ratio is moderate. A missed opportunity for a better experience.

Food was what you would expect, quite okay Service was adequate but the fact that you have to pay for the toilet there is just bad. Especially if it's not clean there. I don't mean because a predecessor has just been decent. Atmosphere is not very special, a very large space. There are clearly better la place restaurants.
