I returned the food because the quality was very poor. The chicken burger was black. A friendly gentleman admitted that wasn't how it should be, and a new one was made. The fries were very hard. Many very small pieces that were also almost black. The answer was that they had been discussing this with the supplier for months. That they were dissatisfied with the quality he delivered. So that doesn't help me much as a customer. I don't think it will be served again.

Not to be repeated, had to dig quite deep into the pockets for a rather meager breakfast. Moreover, the chairs were definitely in need of refurbishment/replacement.

We went for a bite to eat at La Place but everything was empty or almost empty at 3pm so we went to the subways

If the atmosphere is compared to a brasserie, this roadside restaurant is less cozy, if you compare it with another roadside restaurant, then it is better..

Worthless, I was not helped, 2 men who were both standing at the grill, I wanted something else but there was no one to be seen there and those from the grill were not too fast so they helped me.

The chicken sandwich was missing some ingredients. Only pieces of chicken and some lettuce are a bit sparse.

The sausage roll was not warm. Even though it was in a warm place.

Always nice to take a break at LaPlace along the way. Good parking, friendly greeting, fresh products, attractive range. Nice promotions via the app. On the way from Breda to Tilburg, walk through the tunnel, well worth it.

Very friendly staff and tasty sandwiches

My expectations are pretty low generally when eating out in the Netherlands but this experience was horrible,not comestible food,at least was a subway next to it so i could eat something.

It's good food, but I miss the 'basics' sometimes. There are awesome buns filled with delicious items. Coffee is good. Seating is plenty. Good lunch and dinner options, freshly made, available.

Very friendly ladies who enjoy helping us, delicious coffee and apple pie and bochsebol were excellent, will definitely go again.

A very good rest stop with clean restrooms and a great selection of food. Everything is freshly prepared by very friendly staff and at reasonable prices. Highly recommended!

Way too high price for a hamburger, the restaurant next to le place was 10 euros cheaper

The price-quality ratio is absolutely terrible. The steak itself was way too small for what you pay. The quality is simply terrible.

Paying for the delicious meal was a bit messy, I forgot to put items on the tray, so I had to pay in two parts. But food was of good quality.

Very expensive for nothing special

You pay for a large coffee, they don’t fill the cup. They give you a small coffee in a large cup. They burn the milk and then they tell you they don’t have lids even though there are clearly lids sitting there. I had to ask for more milk twice and a lid twice. Terrible

Social deal done there, food was delicious, everything was well explained, you could take everything yourself, no table service, but we had a nice dinner.

I thought we would have a nice meal here with the social deal voucher, but this was anything but true. Choice of 3 dishes and a few pieces of cold pizza. There were photos on the website that showed you could get whole pizzas, etc. A real disappointment and certainly not recommended!! I also wonder how long La Place will be here since there was hardly anyone in this atmospheric restaurant.

With social deal you can dine here cheaply and really tasty and quickly. Also a nice little children's corner for the little ones..

Ate at La Place on the A58 near Gilze Rijen. What a letdown! At home we had selected a pizza and a wok dish on the website under the heading 'Warm kitchen autumn'. But there weren't any. There turned out to be surprisingly little choice at all. Only some pieces of pizza, not whole pizzas. Partner then chose chicken satay with fries. Very few fries and also lukewarm. Mini heap of atjar added. I had the meal deal vega classic burger with fries. It was ok, but for me the top layer of fries was also lukewarm/tough. The upholstery of the chairs, all the chairs, was worn. And another 80 cents had to be paid for the toilet. What a service. All in all a very disappointing experience.

Stop offering hot food half an hour before closing time and only offer weak, bland fries. What inhospitality. “Sir, we want to go home straight after closing, so we only have some sandwiches and weak fries now.” Go away!

Were here for the first time. Ham and cheese bouncer. Was delicious. Fresh bread generously topped with ham and 3 eggs Recommended

Open 11am!? Unfortunately for us and 25 others. Breakfast 8.95 after 11 o'clock in a roadside restaurant!?!? Normally very satisfied with Laplace.

Delicious food and not too expensive

Good food when it is available. But opening hours are getting shorter and shorter and the kitchen is usually closed well before the business closes.

Neat neat place. Only the strawberry/coconut smoothie may never be sold again. They really don't combine.

The kitchen was closed 1 hour before closing time. Which resulted in soup that had been sitting for a long time and 4 sandwiches that were still left over

Pay close attention to whether the price is correct when you take advantage of an offer in the La Place app. For example, a dessert for €2.50 when purchasing a hot meal. Sometimes this doesn't go well, so you just pay the full price. I went back with the receipt after I discovered this (almost immediately) and it apparently took a lot of effort to correct. Someone else was called in and had to re-enter everything 3 times while my food was getting cold. As for the food, it is just OK, but certainly not high quality and therefore certainly a bit pricey for what you get in terms of service and the fact that this is simply self-service. For perhaps just a few euros more you can get comparable dishes at roadside restaurants that simply serve at the table. It is a good option for a quick meal on the highway if you don't want fast food.

Once again la place is closed at 7 p.m. It would be nice if la Place would change this. 😡

I had a cappuccino here today. The lady who served me was very kind. The cappuccino was good.

I had soup and a roll and coffee and apple cake on the seasonal deal, all was really nice especially the cake. Price was reasonable considering the quality........came back again 2023 still great quality

There is plenty of room to sit, there is even a terrace outside. The prices are a bit on the high side, but the dishes were fresh and the coffee still tastes great.

It's worthless that a roadside restaurant that is open until 7 p.m. only has soup at 6:30 p.m. or, if you ask very nicely, a sandwich. “Because if we serve until 7 p.m., we still won't be home by 7:30 p.m.” Tip for Jumbo: if you have a closing time, also pay your employees for the time it takes to clean. Then you also offer your customers real service...

A flat white is a coffee preparation made from a double espresso with steamed, foamy milk. The milk foam has a fine structure and therefore shines. Moreover, it is sturdy enough to last a long time on the hot drink. Laplace makes a mini cup of brown sludge with maybe half an espresso. Sloppy as well. And that for almost €5. Back on the road feeling ripped off

La Place is a cozy spot with delicious food and great vibes. Perfect for catching up with friends over coffee or enjoying a tasty meal!

One of the best motorway stops on our recent roadtrip.... The food is superb and the coffee is excellent. Friendly staff.

The food here is great, this is a really good location of La Place. The floor and lamps just need to be cleaned.

Prijs cappuccino te hoog voor middelmatige koffie

Op de terugreis van de vakantie hebben we een heerlijk koffie met een gebakje gegeten.

In dit restaurant van de familie. V.d.Valk afgelopen zondag met een groep mensen (16 personen) genoten van een geweldige brunch. Alleen jammer dat ze ondanks dat het besproken was, een drietal tafels gaven helemaal aan het einde van het restaurant. U moet wel begrijpen dat er 6 mensen bij waren die gebruik moeten maken van een loop rek of rolstoel. Het is geen doen........

Beetje gek dat je als sluitingstijd 19.00 hanteert, maar de oven om 18.00 al zijn reinigingsprogramma van een uur laat draaien. Om 18.20 (wat toch niet erg vreemd is als etenstijd) naar de concurrent gegaan - subway die wel nog open is dan.

Altijd lekker eten 😋 Jammer dat dit wegrestaurant al zo vroeg sluit doordeweeks, om 17:00u is het dicht.

Je betaald voor een wc bezoek 80 cent. Dan blijkt hij vies te zijn en een wc was ook nog kapot.

22.00 euro voor een bordje lauwe sate Met atjar.... althans die vloog er over heen, de friet was 46 keer doorgebakken en de kip was gespierder dan youri van Gelder.... voor mij nooit meer Boeven zijn het... lekker naar de burgerking

Heerlijk even van de snelweg af voor een lekkere hap.

Prima tent om even snel een drankje of hapje te doen onderweg.

Op de terugweg van ritje naar België is dit een handige plek om even een hapje te nemen en wat rust te krijgen. Ruime zaak, is mis wel de automagazines op de tafel

18.30 ... hamburgers zijn al op. Dan maar biefstuk. Was ook wel lekker maar ijskoude aardappeltjes en ijskoude groenten erbij. Dat was zeker een minpunt.

Vanavond om 18:15 gestopt om wat bij La Place Gilze te eten, veel keus is er niet , Wilde een hammetje met friet maar die was net op, dan maar loaded fries met beef en mijn vrouw bakje van de saladebar met portie friet. Na tien minuten, mijn schijfje was nog niet gaan rammelen maar eens gaan kijken, na even wachten dan toch e.e.a. in ontvangst genomen en terug naar tafel. Ons oordeel: de saladebar was redelijk leeg, de friet vet en slap (frituur temp al teruggedraaid?) en met twee drankjes koste het toch nog €30,- Volgende keer rijden we deze voorbij.

Belachelijk duur voor de kwantiteit/kwaliteit die je krijgt. Chaotische georganiseerd. Lang wachten voor de kassa zodat je eten al koud is.

Vriendelijk personeel, lekkere broodjes en goede koffie, maar (alweer) duur.

Wij vonden deze La Place minder aangenaam en minder in service dan andere La Place restaurants die we bezochten. Deels komt het door de donkere sfeer binnen waar plafonds nog beton platen zijn met ijzeren balken en het ontbreken van sfeer verlichting boven de tafels. Ook was men de vloer achter het buffet en onder het buffet met emmers schuurwater aan het nat maken en schuren terwijl het buffet personeel mensen van eten voorzien...ze stonden letterlijk in het schuurwater. De band om de vaat en afval af te voeren functioneerde niet en alles stapelde op..niet erg netjes.

Übliche Raststätte, nichts ungewöhnliches.

Het is niet meer zo als het geweest is,vieze toiletten.

Vrij duur voor een wegrestaurant

Eten was niet lekker en erg vettig Koffiemelk op ja ik kom er zo aan schaap koffie wordt koud

Ik was jarig en werd hierop geattendeerd door de vriendelijk juffrouw achter het buffet, een gratis taartje, was erg lekker.

Niet meer zoals vroeger, minder keus!

Eten was weer goed zoals gebruikelijk van la place... Vandaag alleen iemand achter de kassa die erg klantonvriendelijk was en mijn soep bijna schaatsbaar was voor we aan de tafel waren... Beetje jammer

Kwamen om 19:00, er werd al opgeruimd en weinig te krijgen. Keuze zeer beperkt en ontzettend duur. Hamburger was matig van kwaliteit. Altijd een liefhebber geweest van la place maar het is vergane glorie. Aan de eigenaar, doe er iets mee of trek de stekker eruit. Wij komen er niet meer.

Weinig keuze, om 13 uur waren de wraps bv al op en konden echt niet bijgemaakt worden. Weinig personeel, afrekenen moet blijkbaar bij de koffiecorner terwijl daar dan ook uitgebreid ijsjes gemaakt moeten worden, gevolg is lang wachten en koud eten. Eten was matig, bij kip met friet lag bv niets van groenten, dit is niet Nederlands, jammer. Ben heel enthousiast over de nieuwe formule van La Place maar hier is deze blijkbaar nog niet doorgedrongen. Hiervoor hebben we dan ook nog een aantal kilometers extra gereden omdat we uit de richting van Bergen op Zoom kwamen, ook al niet handig en in dit geval zeker niet de moeite waard.

Hebben al aardig wat LaPace vestigingen bezocht als wij in Nederland zijn, snel en voordelig een hapje eten of gewoon een kop koffie drinken. Personeel is vriendelijk, behoorlijke sortering.

Eerst een halfuur dolen om er iets van te snappen, dan vragen naar pizza en de doodleuke mededeling: vandaag is er geen pizza... Waar is het ruime, goede aanbod van La Place van weleer?
