We ordered four pieces of sliced ​​beef tenderloin with them. My first piece was somewhat tender, the next piece was already tougher, and the rest was like chewing gum; you couldn't finish it. I let the other people taste it, and they couldn't get it down either. Their steak, however, was tender. The waitress came over. "Did you enjoy it?" I said no, it was just like a shoe sole. She looked as if she'd seen a ghost. She said nothing else. She came back to clear the plates. I even said, "Show the steak to the chef that it's rubber." No reaction whatsoever, not even from the chef. Very poor.

With every order, something is forgotten, burned, or incorrect. Even when you add a note saying "don't forget the sauce!", it is still forgotten every single time. The young employees don't really know how to handle this. And all this for a reasonably high price.

Three other people and I ordered four farmer's burgers, and apparently that was too much because it wasn't made properly. I had ordered one without tomato and mushrooms, which I fortunately didn't get, but I also didn't get an egg. On my FARMER'S BURGER! My fries are usually burnt, so I didn't order them, but to forget the egg, which is supposed to be included as standard, is truly unbelievable. Excuse the photo; I was hungry, so I took a bite right away and put cheddar cheese on it myself. The burger was actually quite tasty, but I paid 9 euros for a burger with bacon, lettuce, and two slices of cucumber. The other times we ordered here, everything was also really burnt, so it was almost inedible. Do better.

We celebrated our wedding reception here! Everything was done to make it exactly how we wanted. Everything is open for discussion. The staff is lovely and did their best. The appetizers were very tasty and the drinks were good! The price was reasonable. Top location!!

We had the bites; service was slow, the order wasn't placed correctly even once, we even received frozen kibbeling and other dishes that weren't warm. The hot kitchen closed at 9:30 and due to the slow service there were few bites. Lots of complaints but we didn't see the owner. Sad for the young staff. It was shamefully bad, we are not going here again.

I had Smoske carpaccio delivered to my home, and this is truly the meager sandwich I have ever ordered anywhere. A grand total of 3 small, wafer-thin slices on the baguette; seriously scandalous. They should be ashamed to deliver it like this. Is it topped like this when you eat on-site?

Truly by far the worst chip shop around here; they can't even fry a regular croquette or a chicken corn dog. You're better off going somewhere else; at least you'll get value for your money there.

Had bites today, unfortunately a lot wasn't warm and it took a long time before we were allowed to order. Otherwise, nice service! And it was tasty.

Very bad cafeteria, every order is wrong, not everything delivered, or simply to a different address, wrong receipt on the wrong bag. Fries are always rock hard, truly inedible. Long hairs in your loaded fries, overcooked snacks, and then they think: if we apologize, it will be fine. Made a promise 3 times to make amends after massive mistakes on a free order, but when you report it, they know nothing about it. Ridiculous place!!!

We ordered fries here during a weekend getaway. In hindsight, we should have known better, as there were several bad reviews. Our experience wasn't good either. We got takeout fries and unfortunately, they weren't tasty. The fries were hard and burnt. Not recommended for ordering fries.

The worst place to eat in Gilze! Incredibly expensive (example: a cheeseburger with 2 slices of cucumber and tomato and a lettuce leaf is €8) All the screens have been off for months. You can't see what the menu is. Employees stay away for 10-15 minutes. No one to speak to and no one to take your order. I literally had to walk to the restaurant section to speak to them about it. This is not how you run a business... This is the last time I'm coming there. Things go wrong there so often, it's unbelievable...

Making a reservation is smart. There are high tables and regular tables.

We had the Bridge Club's anniversary drive. Great location, excellent service. The food itself was very good, though portions were quite small.

Ate here for Christmas. All small appetizers. I found this one rather underwhelming. Lots of bread, chips, or potatoes. Which I also found a shame. You're only allowed to order two appetizers per person. But then you're busy with a call. Then they bring them. Then you have to figure out what you ordered every time. Especially with a large group. It's always a disruption.

We booked for unlimited snacks, but one thing was, it took a very long time, and two, the food was often still hot. At one point, they came by more often for drinks than for food. We spent 4.5 hours here, going through six rounds of food. We were still wondering where Frans Bauer was; we honestly thought we were at Bananensplit. When we checked out, we indicated our dissatisfaction, and all we got was an apology. They certainly don't deserve more than one star.

Just had a good meal, for a fair price.

Scandalously bad service and a "cook" who loudly makes it clear that he doesn't care about his job at all. We arrived at 11:20 AM; we were asked what we were there for by a lady, and a certain gentleman with short hair and glasses (who apparently "belongs in the kitchen") started sighing, groaning, and moaning that we wanted something to eat. He called into the kitchen to say that the rolls still needed to be baked—which is apparently a huge task—and walked away like a toddler. We didn't eat anything and will DEFINITELY not be doing so again. After apologies from the lady who helped us, we left. This gentleman needs to take a good look in the mirror to realize that he is casting the entire Hof van Gilze in a bad light.

We chose this place & their bites unlimited option for our team dinner. The bites were really bites & it is not really unlimited.. Wven the place was completely empty, the waiter came every 20 min to take order for our 2 bites.. So in 2 hours they gave 12 bites per person, meaning each bite costed us around 3 euro, which is not at all that worth. We left empty stomach after 2 hours 😭😢.. So do not choos for unlimited bites trap.

Went to Bites Unlimited with friends. Friendly welcome from the young staff. The menu is extensive and there is something for everyone. The quality and taste of the dishes are good, and sometimes more than good. You also don't have to wait long for your order to be taken or for it to arrive in front of you. This is highly recommended for a fun and delicious evening. 3 tips 1 If you sit by the door, you feel the cold from the hallway; this is partly because the door is difficult to close and therefore stays open easily. 2 The dishes are served in small bowls, which is perfectly fine, but the cutlery is not adapted to this. 3 The sushi. As with all Japanese dishes, make sure you can eat this with chopsticks.

I tried Bites Unlimited. For 3 hours, I enjoyed unlimited snacks, choosing from 52 delicious bites. A delightful way to dine. The dishes were delicious, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the staff were friendly. They also frequently asked if I wanted to order anything else. Fantastic!

It was very tasty and I will definitely go back there to eat something. I will definitely go there and you will not be disappointed.

Good restaurant with a village atmosphere. Eaten Bites unlimited and very varied choice... but also really tasty! Enough choice for meat lovers, but there is certainly enough fish and vegetarian. Really recommended and from the highway Breda towards Tilburg (A58) you only have to take exit 12 and you are already in the picturesque Gilze! The carpaccio is definitely recommended here. Would you rather eat a la carte? That is also possible.

I'm getting married soon. We were planning to end the day with a dinner with a small group at a cozy restaurant. However, a month before the wedding, the owner of the restaurant we had booked canceled the reservation. He suddenly discovered he was closed that day for a staff outing. He had inquired for us at another restaurant if we could go there, which he did. But we found that restaurant less suitable. So much for a brief introduction. But due to an unfortunate incident, we had to look for another restaurant. And we ended up here. So, we went there for dinner last Friday. Well, the quality was excellent. A beautiful and cozy restaurant. And the service was top-notch. They took their time with the guests and also had a good sense of humor. We really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere that evening. Afterward, we also made reservations there for our wedding dinner with our group.

One person in service is really not enough. Food is fine. Only €26.50 for a spare rib with 5 bones. Really paid too much. Limited choice for a la carte.

This is the most atmospheric place in the Netherlands. Had to go to an appointment, thought we would have a drink with a colleague beforehand. A cup of coffee should be possible. The coffee was drinkable, though. The waiter, one with a piercing, was nice. Not special, just… normal. But that tent, man, completely lacking in atmosphere. Cold, bleak, a hole actually. There was one other couple, all you can eat, they didn't look particularly appetizing either. Doesn't help the atmosphere either. Long story short: not recommended. Maybe for a coffee to go, and then run to where it is nice.

Ordered lunch dish omelet with bacon, tomato, arugula, cheese and mushrooms. It is then delivered this way. Half of the ingredients are missing and my calls are being pushed away. Shame! Always ordered here weekly with great pleasure. Unfortunately this was the last time.

Order delivered half an hour early. I don't think the order was fried yet because we got a cold Mexicano and weak fries. This was then reported. Staff indicated that they would come back to it after dinner. Apparently people are still dining...

A great concept with delicious snacks. I think price-quality is very good. I personally think it's better than, for example, 't Zusje. Service was fast, friendly and attentive. In short: recommended!

What was once good is now spoiled. Just like the taste of the meat I got in my wrap. The cafeteria food used to be good, but lately it has been seriously disappointing too often. Unfortunately, I have now taken to writing this for the first time in my life. The cafe is still in good condition.

What a disappointing lunch experience! We ordered 3x club sandwich salmon and were surprised by the presentation. Untoasted bread, a single leaf of minimal lettuce, a modest slice of salmon and some onions. Clearly little effort had gone into it. In addition to the sandwich, a portion (say, a 'mountain') of nachos that looked like it had been dumped straight from the bag onto the plate. By far the most meager, tasteless and therefore overpriced club sandwich ever. No repeat for us.

A cafe with no ability to take away a coffee is strange 1 star

Spend a Friday night having dinner at this place for the first time. The food was very well made and tasty. The prices are bit on the high side, but the portion sizes are pretty big and nicely plattered. Very kind servers! I would say that the place is pretty open, and feels more like a living room. This does influence the atmosphere. Maybe some plants in between tables to break up the space a bit could be a nice addition. More family friendly than romantic :). Overall, for a nice dinner with the family a good option!

Unlimited bites is erg leuk en echt goede kwaliteit. Vaak moet je bij dit soort dingen lang wachten op je eten hier is dat echt niet zo. Service is vriendelijk en erg snel. Vorige keer zat het restaurant vol maar hebben niet lang moeten wachten

Gisteren samen met een goede vriend bijgekletst! De unlimited lunch is echt een aanrader. Je gaat zeker niet met een lage maag naar huis haha! De bediening was ook heel goed en de man die ons hielp heeft echt passie voor zijn werk!

Here in Tilberg for 24 hours, needed food after the flight from Bucharest. Walked around Glize and stumbled upon this fantastic restaurant. The chef/owner helped us with the menu in Dutch and we had the best fish and ribs. He forgot to mention the the Unlimited Bites menu!!!! It's all in Dutch and I don't blame him . I saw dish after dish of fantastic looking 'Dutch Tapas' I will be back!!!!!!

Heerlijke woensdagmiddag/ avond in Gilze gehad bij de Hof. We kozen voor de bites . Leuk concept met lekkere smaken, een goede chardonnay en gezellig terras met gezellige mensen om ons heen . Wat wil je nog meer op je vrije dag . Thanks team van de Hof , goed gedaan 👏

While the individual portion sizes are somewhat on the smaller size, the unlimited order offer for three hours ensures that you'll leave with a full tummy and a smile on your face! The atmosphere is lovely with dimmed lights offering a relaxing and comfortable mood and the kind servers make you feel welcome!
