Salade Burrata zag er erg mooi uit, maar het broodje was veel te hard/oud. Pokebowl zag er prachtig uit en was heerlijk. Vriendelijke bediening.

Leuk pleintje in Gilze. Gemoedelijk, sfeervol en lekker gegeten. Ook een leuk adresje met je fiets. Gezellig buitenterras.

We hebben heerlijk gegeten. Een 4 gangen diner met de kids. Ze hebben de gangen aangepast voor de kids zodat zij mee konden doen. Ook veganistisch was erg goed!!!

Strange that there are no taxis available on Saturday evenings. Extra great that the staff took us home!!!

I had a wonderful evening with my grandmother and sister. Delicious food, and we didn't have to wait long, even though it was completely full. Cozy atmosphere, very friendly staff, and really delicious food. 100% recommended! We weren't from the area and had to drive 45 minutes, but it was all worth it!

We took the chef's 4-course menu and that was a perfect choice. The variety between fish, meat and vegetarian was very pleasant, especially the vegetarian entree was surprisingly tasty! The main course with lamb tenderloins was also excellent. For desert we opted for cheese and here again a good variety with tasty cheeses. We had matching wines for each course and they were very well matched to the dishes. Furthermore, the service was very friendly and they came by on time to make us happy. Highly recommended to eat here!

Preferences (allergies, vegetarian) forgotten, dishes mixed up, no answer to a question about allergens, a sweet potato cut in half as a vegetarian main course. And then pay 300 euros for 4 people, then you would be better off eating elsewhere.

We went there during the week (Monday evening). We were soon alone in the restaurant, but that didn't matter. Please note, you cannot put together a multi-course menu yourself. This was, for us, confusingly included in the menu.

Prachtige parkeergelegenheid, sprookjesachtige omgeving. Mooi groen uitzicht vanuit achterterras. Kortom omgeving geheel OK. Bediening vriendelijk en vakkundig. Prima verwarmd terras. Geserveerde gangen prima van kwaliteit echter wel enorm klein, ietsje ruimer bemeten mag echt wel, zeker gezien het formaat van de borden, daardoor vallen de kleine porties nog eens te meer op.

Op zondagmiddag eerst wat gedronken met een hapje op het gezellige terras. Toen viel de vriendelijke bediening al erg op. Later op de avond samen met mijn zoon binnen heerlijk gegeten. Naast een uitstekend voor en hoofdgerecht werden we verrast met amuse, appetizer en bij de koffie ook nog een extra brownie. Met veel dank aan Quincy die uitstekend bediende en goede tips had voor bijpassende wijn en dessertkeuze. Zeker een aanrader en ik kom heel snel weer terug.

Once again an excellent experience with De Huyskamer in Gilze. I had booked the room to give a training. Denise is an excellent employee; very hospitable and hospitable. Yesterday I cycled around with my wife, during the round we sat down at De Huyskamer to have a drink. The environment is good, it all looks nice. We sat on the terrace at the front, where you can sit comfortably. So far everything was fine. We ordered tea, a cappucino and apple pies with whipped cream. The latter were delicious. I didn't like the cappuccino as much. Espresso too weak and the milk foam was mediocre. That should be much softer without large air bubbles in it. I must admit that I am spoiled, as I have a coffee machine at home that my daughter uses to make perfect espressos. Then there was the price, I had to pay €16.20. I think that's quite steep for the price.

We enjoyed! The menu had enough choice and was limited enough so that everything is of good quality. But the desserts, we were IN LOVE. So good! The raspberry tart is highly recommended and the cheesecake is an excellent second choice. It was pure enjoyment.

The four-course surprise menu was special and very tasty. We thought it was on par with a star restaurant. The wines from the wine arrangement matched the dishes well. The plates were beautifully presented and the food was delicious. There were 3 appetizers and a large portion of roasted vegetables for the main course. With coffee 3 beautiful friandises even for the price where you usually only get a cup of coffee. We enjoyed it and definitely recommend the restaurant.

We celebrated our mother's birthday party at the Huyskamer with 40 family members. We received full cooperation in organizing the afternoon. The welcome was warm, the food was excellent. A very nice and neat place, easily accessible and very affordable.

Fijne lunch in een prettige sfeer. Op verzoek kon het lunchmenu worden aangepast naar een vis-alternatief en het werd allemaal prima bereid. De bediening was vriendelijk en attent en een kleine vergissing werd snel opgelost. De prijs was ook redelijk. Kortom, zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

I had lunch here with my group on Christmas Day, nice and beautiful restaurant in the cozy village of Gilze, delicious food, the flavors of the dishes could be a bit more exciting for me personally, but definitely recommended!

We had a 1-year anniversary to celebrate and it was a great experience. Very attentive service, you really feel at home and they really made it a party. Back again next year!

Price/quality completely out of proportion. Had a surprise menu with six courses. Simple dishes, for example a few slices of avocado with arugula, which is called avocado carpaccio. Two shrimp with the intestinal tract still in them, with an onion and hard corn. No problem paying a little more, but you can also expect quality. Young service was not supervised, more than half of the time we were without drinks and the matching wine only came after the dish. We were recommended this restaurant so had high expectations, but it was a real disappointment for 85 euros per person with three drinks.

A cozy tent with a nice atmosphere. Nice staff and neat. The toilets looked spotless, compared to other restaurants. There are sanitary towels, tampons and Deodorant in the toilet to use if you have forgotten this yourself. In short, everything you need to enjoy a delicious lunch without any worries. Nice, cozy restaurant in the center of Gilze! You can have a delicious lunch, dinner and drinks there. I come back there regularly and happily. The service is good and knows how to explain the dishes.

My experience at this restaurant was nothing short of perfection. From the impeccable service to the inviting atmosphere, delightful food, and the warm welcome, every aspect. The staff exhibited elegant behavior, assisting and guiding us through the diverse menu, providing detailed explanations of each dish and its accompaniments. A special mention goes to the availability of an English menu, easily accessible by scanning the QR code on the menu card. We started with a bottle of wine Maison Centauree Chardonnay, served to us in an elegant manner. The welcome dish that followed was fantastic—pomp soup in a shot, another resembling a cake with fruits on top, striking the perfect balance of flavors and finishing with a small oil bread covered with mousse. For the main course, the medium-rare Runderpicanha Knolselderij, with dragon, mosterdzaad, and a potato mousse, was exceptionally tasty. The dish was beautifully presented with a side of veggies and potatoes. To cleanse our mouths, they served us rose water with hibiscus, cinnamon, and clove, which was incredibly tasty—I would love to get the recipe! Finally, we ordered the Verrassingsdessert, a creative dessert surprise from the chefs. It was a bread tart with mango ice, various fruits, and vanilla mousse, delivering explosions of taste in our mouths. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience that exceeded expectations. Netherlands Taal Mijn ervaring in dit restaurant was ronduit perfect. Van de onberispelijke service tot de uitnodigende sfeer, heerlijk eten en het warme welkom; elk aspect was uitstekend. Het personeel vertoonde elegant gedrag en hielp ons bij het navigeren door het gevarieerde menu. Ze gaven gedetailleerde uitleg over elk gerecht en de bijgerechten. Een speciale vermelding gaat naar de beschikbaarheid van een Engels menu, eenvoudig toegankelijk door de QR-code op de menukaart te scannen. We begonnen met een fles Maison Centauree Chardonnay, op elegante wijze aan ons geserveerd. Het welkomstdiner dat volgde was fantastisch: een pomp soup in een shot, een ander gerecht dat leek op een cake met fruit erbovenop, perfect in balans qua smaken en afgesloten met een klein broodje bedekt met mousse. Als hoofdgerecht was de medium rare Runderpicanha Knolselderij, met dragon, mosterdzaad en aardappelmousse, buitengewoon smakelijk. Het gerecht was prachtig gepresenteerd met een bijgerecht van groenten en aardappelen. Om ons gehemelte te reinigen, serveerden ze rozenwater met hibiscus, kaneel en kruidnagel, wat ongelooflijk smaakvol was. Ik zou graag het recept willen hebben! Tot slot bestelden we het Verrassingsdessert, een creatieve verrassing van de chef-koks. Het was een broodtaart met mangijs, verschillende soorten fruit en vanillemousse, wat zorgde voor smaakexplosies in onze monden. Al met al was het een geweldige eetervaring die alle verwachtingen overtrof.

Voorgerecht met tonijn was lekker. Private dining room was meer een vergaderruimte en helaas niet verwarmd. Er lagen fleecedekens klaar tegen de kou. Wij vonden dat niet prettig.

Mooie gezellige ruimte, matige (statische)sfeer, wellicht door het ontbreken van achtergrond muziek. Heerlijk gegeten, alleen voorgerecht coquilles met garnalen waren lauw/koud, dat hoorde zo volgens de bediening, foute verwachting mijnerzijds.

Toprestaurant! We hadden het 4-gangen verrassingsmenu en hebben ons inderdaad aangenaam laten verrassen. Uitgebalanceerde smaaksensaties, maar wel "eerlijk" eten op je bord. Zeer vriendelijke en attente bediening. Akoestiek ook dik in orde. Naast de wijnkaart ook een uitgebreide bierkaart en bij elk gerecht op de kaart naast de wijntip ook een biertip. Prijs/kwaliteitverhouden uitstekend. Heerlijke avond gehad, dankjulliewel.
