Great tasty food, top service, good quality food and of course very friendly staff, just a very good restaurant.

The pizzas were ready on time, but quite expensive, had hard crusts, and were unsliced. Not ideal when you're camping with only a small knife. I also asked for lactose-free and no cheese, but it still had cheese on it.

We come here very often. Delicious food, a lovely, warm, Italian atmosphere. The wine is excellent, and the service is excellent. They really know what they're talking about. My partner and I love the tiramisu. Highly recommended.

You immediately feel at home and welcome here. The absolute highlight are the pizzas – they are truly delicious! The dough is perfect, the toppings fresh, and the selection large enough to satisfy every taste. A true delight for all pizza lovers. Unfortunately, there are two downsides: First, it's a real shame that credit card payments aren't accepted. This can be a real problem for spontaneous visits or tourists who don't carry a lot of cash. Second, the restrooms were unfortunately dirty, which spoils the otherwise positive overall impression. Conclusion: If you're looking for excellent pizza in a cozy atmosphere with friendly service and have cash on you, La Trattoria is definitely worth a visit. However, if you rely on card payments or value immaculate sanitary facilities, you should consider this in advance.

Top food, top staff, fast and good, must go

This is the first time I write a public review. I prefer to give direct feedback, I find it more honest. I tried tonight, but found no ear We often and like to eat out, 9 out of 10 times it goes well, unfortunately not tonight.. La trattoria seems to be a popular restaurant with an apparently regular clientele, maybe that's why they are more forgiving. Waited more than 30 minutes for the drinks, waited more than 45 minutes for the main course. My dish, pasta al parmigiano - I have eaten it a lot both in Italy and in the Netherlands - was far from the sum of its parts. Anyone who knows the dish knows that that is exactly what it is about. When clearing my full plate I indicated that the dish was not to my liking. The answer was, in short, that it was my problem. Then someone else comes to ask. The answer was again that it was my problem. Lukewarm pasta soaked in whiskey with a few flakes of parmesan. Pizza dough was not cooked.

We had a great meal again. We come back here regularly. Every time again quality and coziness.

Book in advance. Fruti di mare pizza was very tasty. Tasty wines can also be found.

You feel like you are eating delicious food somewhere in Italy. Delicious food with Italian passion.

If it were up to my girlfriend, we would eat here almost every day. I can certainly understand why. Wonderfully relaxed, Italian atmosphere, real quality meat, experience but above all hospitality at its best. We always feel very welcome here. It doesn't matter if we come for an evening with them, if we bring the football teams or come with the family. Everything is possible! Very occasionally when it is very busy and staff is absent, we can take a little more time. But that is always solved in a nice way. Thanks and see you soon!

Really authentic Italian dishes and super tasty

I've been coming here for years for the same dish: pasta parmigiani. Normally an enormous cheese arrives at your table where the drink is poured into a cavity and ignited. Your pasta is rolled in that melting cheese. Delicious! This time I got a plate of lukewarm pasta with cheese. When I reacted with surprise and disappointment, I was told that it was busy and that made it even better. Well. It was tasty. And lukewarm. And not that nice. And almost finished before my partner got his food.

Yum yum, tried so many things. Everything is tasty. Dessert always remains the same: tiramisu. Sometimes it is noisy because people start talking louder. Service: always friendly and thinking in terms of solutions.

Wasn't quite what I expected. Hardly any capers and tuna (mostly looked like some kind of mayonnaise) on the vitello tonnato. The FILETTO AL TARTUFO really disappointed me. Really more tender and with a better grilled taste. Fries are okay and the espresso excellent.

Brought here by family. First of all, very friendly employees, who do everything they can to make it as pleasant as possible. The lovely weather allowed us to sit outside, where the veranda is a great place to relax. Our ordered main courses (pizza off the menu, lasagna, sea bass) were tasty and a good portion. For the really big eater, pasta or pizza is recommended. The desserts (tiramisu, sorbet ice cream and nougat ice cream) were superb. The homemade tiramisu is especially delicious and is definitely worth a double portion. We were constantly helped in an extremely friendly manner and felt at ease. We definitely recommend this restaurant.

Ordered pizza for take out. Was rather bland and uninspired. Definitely not the best pizza but also not terrible and the price is ok. Place was pretty busy.

We had a super delicious meal there last night. All four of us had a different dish and all looked very good. The service is super good and they are very friendly. The atmosphere is very good and very cozy. It is also child-friendly because the children were given a coloring page and crayons and were busy with them until the food arrived. Highly recommended to eat there. Luckily my daughter had reserved a table because it was pleasantly busy but not disturbingly busy.

We loved it. Best restaurant we found in the region. We had pasta carbonara and ravioli with lamb. Pizza Margherita for the kids. Everyone loved it. Friendly service Italian style.

Mijn partner bestelde een salade, waar ze tevreden over was. Ik kreeg een spaghetti gorgonzola, die een Italiaans restaurant onwaardig was: de spaghetti dreef in een waterig aftreksel van wat gorgonzola moet heten; smaak en kaas waren ver te zoeken. Ook een appetijtelijke presentatie met olijfje, tomaat, peterselie o.i.d. bleef uit. Kortom, naar ik hoop, een tijdelijke misser.

The delivery person didn't arrive until 2 hours after I ordered. Now I don't mind that. But pizzas were cold! Microwaved. And I ordered with extra tomato, onion and pepper...well you had to look for those with a magnifying glass. Not a second time here for us

The service is friendly, works hard: nothing wrong with that! The food, on the other hand: the fish soup was microwaved so it was inedible and overcooked for 5 minutes, the spaghetti arrabiata was 'pre-cut' and only sharp, the pizza salami was pale and undercooked. Ergo: not recommended!!

Bad restaurant, very dirty pizza, the salami was inedible, very little toppings, and a brick crust, white pizza, but burnt at the bottom, how do you do it. I'll never come here again. The pizza was also super soft, everything fell off. And the staff wanted you to leave as quickly as possible, very pushy. The restaurant smells of stale junk and is unhygienic.

We came here to eat with a class, the food was good and so was the service. Then we were done and had to pay the bill and we had to split it, so share it with everyone! The teachers also did nothing, while we had ordered cheap things and the other classmates had ordered very expensive things. We suddenly had to pay for that too, which made it an expensive evening :(

TERRIBLE!!!! Ate here 2 years ago with a group! NEVER AGAIN! Pizza base is cardboard, tomato sauce is ketchup and cheese is plastic! I'm lucky to be alive!!!!😡

This is another restaurant with a 2 ** status in the field of fine dining. Warm welcome, always happy staff who welcome you. The wines are at perfect temperature and whether you order a pizza starter or a meat specialty, it is always really GREAT. What a place, what a ZTOP restaurant where we have been coming for quite some time and it is always fantastic. Mega class! Grazie!!

Food and atmosphere were good, but after dinner we were asked to pay quite quickly because there were people at the bar waiting for a table.

Nice Italian in the center of Castricum. Many people come from the village. Pleasant service, excellent food. It may take a while before you are helped and it can all be a bit messy. A nice place for a tasty pasta or pizza.

Delicious dinner tonight. Pizzas are really great: thin base, crispy crust, tasty ingredients. Tiramisu is also very good.

Everything was great, we were welcomed even without a reservation, it was our third day in Nederland and as a tourist I had a good experience; to be in a place soo full of local people was nice, the only regret is not to be able to come back again, good luck!

We were loyal customers with our family for years, but we haven't been for a number of years due to illness/death of my husband. Now we had a special occasion, which we once celebrated there and which we wanted to repeat, same restaurant, same table. Booked by telephone weeks in advance. It was then said that we could come at 5:00 PM or 7:00 PM, because they are now working with a time slot. We were received by a type of manager and the desired table turned out not to be available (I'm not going to put 3 people at a 5-person table, I told you that - well, not), and the table designated to us was not yet available. We were seated at 7:20 PM. Service was rushed, except for a few 'old timers' who still know how it works. Food delicious as always! Prices solid. Just after 9 p.m., an employee suddenly started clearing our table - we were still having a sgroppino - and we had to do our best to leave our bottle of water for a while. By 9:30 p.m., employees were already going home and we felt compelled to do the same. but to go away. So we didn't order dessert and coffee/tea anymore. (Kitchen open until 10 p.m. is stated on the website). The time allowed including waiting is really too short for starter, main course and dessert and possibly coffee or tea. Unfortunately, here too, commerce (high prices and tables occupied twice per evening) has won over the familiar friendly, pleasant hospitality.

Locale molto carino e curato nel centro del paese,personale molto cordiale ed accogliente però,come spesso accade, la cucina non è originale italiana. Non voglio soffermarmi sui dettagli però in un paesino di mare come Castricum,in estate,non puoi servire un piatto di spaghetti alla pescatora con le cozze surgelate,tra l'altro nemmeno tanto fresche. L'antipasto di burrata con solo affettati ed una palletta grande come una da golf,di burrata a 15€. Mi dispiace ma con la cucina non ci siamo proprio.

Zeer slecht. Had een pasta carbonara besteld en kreeg een portie pasta verzopen in room. Geen smaak niks gewoon room met pasta.. hoe kun je dat nou verneuken. Ik ben zelf ook kok en klop de lekkerste carbonara zo in elkaar dit was een schande..

Heerlijk vis gegeten. Prima keuken, niet duur!

De slechtste pizza ooit geserveerd gekregen vanavond. Ten eerste was het erg druk zo druk dat wij een tafeltje kregen die in de loop van de bar staat, dus de serveerster met de drankjes heeft niet echt de ruimte om er langs te lopen. Wij komen al jaren bij La Trattoria maar dit was nu echt de laatste keer hier zien ze ons nooooit meer terug. De laatste keer kreeg ik al cannaloni voorgeschoteld die verbrand was en nu vanavond een pizza die nog zo wit was dat hij eigenlijk nog afgebakken moest worden!!! Een pizza salami waarvan de salami te pittig was en niet bruin gebakken, de pizza was niet bedekt met saus maar gortdroog met amper tomatensaus erop ,alleen in het midden zeer karig met daarop een paar plakjes te pittige salami en zeer karig kaas. Wat een crisispizza echt vreselijk slecht!!! Na een paar hapjes was ik er klaar mee. bovendien had ik wat ui erop gevraagd waar notabene 0.50 cent voor in rekening werd gebracht! Een glaasje witte wijn met hoogtevrees en na dat ik had geklaagd was de optie om hem opnieuw in de oven te doen, nou nee laat maar hij moet de 1e keer goed geserveerd worden!!! Nee LaTrattoria dit is ronduit slecht hier komen wij nooit meer terug en degene die van plan is om hier uit eten te gaan raad ik aan, om ergens anders uit eten te gaan. Zeer teleurstellend!!! Bijgevoegde foto's van de vorige keer helaas geen foto's van vanvond gemaakt!

Zeer gastvrij, heerlijk gegeten ondanks dat het druk was kregen we alles mooi op tijd. Een aanrader om naar toe te gaan.

Heerlijk eten in een goede ambiance!

Eten is altijd lekker bij Trattoria, door drukte en plek in restaurant hebben we meer dan een uur gewacht op voorafje. De plekken bij de bar zijn niet echt ideaal omdat je toch vaak vergeten wordt. Als je wilt genieten ga dan niet in het weekend.

Top pizza, goede kwaliteit. Uitstekende service. We komen zeker terug.

Knus restaurantje waar je lekker kan eten

La Tratoria zit al een aantal jaren in Castricum, een heel goede pizzeria met een uitgebreide kaart dus genoeg keuze, het eten is volgens mij met veel zorg bereid en dat proef je ook, personeel is erg vriendelijk en neemt ook de tijd voor jou, wij zaten met 14 man buiten in de serre met de verwarming aan dus het was prima vertoeven, binnen doet het ook gezellig aan, reserveren is wel een must, want het is meestal wel druk als ik s'avonds langs rijd, het is dus echt een aanrader!!
