L'Avenue Vin & Cuisine in Centrum

We were looking forward to a pleasant evening at La Avenue on the Kleine Berg, but unfortunately, the experience was a bit disappointing. The atmosphere and location are very nice, but the wine failed to convince us. Additionally, we found the prices for the food really out of proportion for what you ultimately get on your plate. It's a shame, because with better wines and a fairer price-quality ratio, this could be a top spot.

Nice, flavorful dishes, great for sharing. Good wine list with tasty wines by the glass as well. Recommended for lunch or drinks.

Had a cup of coffee. Very friendly service and a delicious cup of coffee that is beautifully presented: a cup of coffee, a glass of water, and a fresh macaron.

Had a delicious meal on the lovely terrace. The menu is perfect, with many small bites so we could share them together with a nice glass of wine. The service is good. Cozy atmosphere with many terraces.

I made reservation for Thursday 6pm for my friends and I. When I arrived the old lady serving us asked if we want to seat inside or outside. We said outside. We ordered drinks and snacks. Everything went well until we have requested the bill. As soon as I paid the old lady told us in a rude way “next time if you are not having dinner please do not seat outside”. We were shocked and her last statement ruined our experience and night. She didn’t mention beforehand that we could only seat outside if we are having dinner. Also, not all tables were taken. I have been there another time before and got served by other young waitress and it went ok. I will not recommend or bring more friends to this place.

It took a very long time to get served. The food was fine, but the price-quality ratio wasn't good. The staff was too busy for us.

Make a reservation and you will initially get a table outside.

I had made a reservation in advance, but upon arrival, to our surprise, we were asked to sit outside, even though that wasn't specified in the reservation. It was too cold for me, so I found that unacceptable. We were eventually allowed to sit inside, but even though the restaurant was practically empty, we were seated right next to another couple. When they left and kindly offered us to sit at their table, we were refused because "that table had been reserved earlier." This seemed rather odd, considering the rest of the restaurant was empty, and I don't think reservations are per table (but that's just my assumption). Furthermore, and because of this, the hostess wasn't particularly welcoming or friendly. People she knew came in, and she started helping them while we were still talking to her. All in all, a disappointing experience, which led us to leave and, thankfully, have an excellent evening elsewhere.

We had a wonderful meal in a beautiful restaurant. The price-quality ratio wasn't quite right for me. We also sat in the covered conservatory, where smoking was unfortunately permitted. This wasn't mentioned beforehand when we booked and entered. It's a good idea to do so so people don't have to sit in the smoke unintentionally.

Cold....very draughty....suffered the whole evening of cold!

L’Avenue Vin & Cuisine What a delightful experience! I was an instant fan of the atmospheric ambiance. The waitress was an absolute sweetheart and helped us in a fantastic way with choosing the perfect wine. The food was surprising and refined – different from what I am used to, but everything was delicious and enjoyed with pleasure. Definitely recommended for anyone who loves a fine, stylish culinary experience.

We made a reservation, but we were not told in advance that it would be a patio table, on a cold night. We had to wait for over 30 minutes just to get the menu, and we had to ask for it multiple times. After we ordered (about 45 minutes after we sat down) we had to wait over 1.5 hours to get the food, and we had to ask for it twice because it took so long. We also ordered a bottle of water, which they also forgot, so again we had to wait for 30 minutes for water. They tried to bring stuff to our table that we did not order multiple times as well (so I imagine others were also forgotten about). The food was tasty, but very small portions and very expensive and there are not many options to choose from. There is only one bathroom which means you have to stand in a line to use it. It was very loud even on the patio.

A modest yet sophisticated menu with fantastic food, partly based on shared dining but also featuring tasty bites, paired with fine wines by the glass or bottle, Cava, or Champagne. Something for everyone, very friendly staff, discreet and knowledgeable. In short, a good place to spend time and enjoy the pleasures of life.

Great sharing food, good atmosphere.

We had a late afternoon fling while our daughter was at a birthday party. Started with oysters, continued with gambas and pizza. All was delicious. Service was a little bit slow and they might be more friendlier but it was a good place and atmosphere.

The waiter signaled to his colleague not to let us in. This has happened before, and that time I was seated. It’s such an arrogant and stupid behavior. Whether it’s full or not, I am the same customer and I pay above average. I cannot depend on a stupid waiter’s personal judgment when their only duty is to provide service.

My wife and I asked if there was an empty table for two people.Before we finished our sentence, they disrespectfully interrupted our sentence and said no.It was the first time I was exposed to such a behavior.My wife's morale was very upset.I will never go there again.

Bad service, you are not treated nicely at all, they make you wait an hour for snacks while they just sit around doing nothing at the bar.

The food was absolutely delicious! The menu features interesting and tasty dishes you won't find everywhere. They also have a great wine list with several wines by the glass. The Camembert is highly recommended!

Lekker gegeten en goede wijn We hebben heel lekker gegeten, lekkere wijn erbij . Wel spijtig dat we geen kaart van de aperitieven/frisdrank kregen . Bediening is wat chaotisch maar alles kwam vlot toe en heel gezellig

We had a wonderful and enjoyable meal. Due to allergies, I'm a difficult guest, but everything was manageable. Hats off to you ;)

Surprisingly high quality dishes and bites paired with delicious wines. Prices for the dishes are a bit high for the quantity. However, the quality is certainly not lacking. The service and customer service could be improved.

First time at L'avenue Vin & Cuisine: A good atmosphere, even in the later hours you can sit comfortably there, with the warm and cozy decoration, it is highly recommended to visit here for almost all occasions.

Hier NIET heen gaan. Vandaag hier uiteten geweest. We kwamen om 19:00 uur aan en om 20:30 werd onze bestelling pas opgenomen. Daarna kregen we om 21:15 ons eten. Het duurde steeds heel lang en je moest echt moeite doen om wat te mogen bestellen. Eten was ook helemaal niet in verhouding met de prijs. Als ik de recensies had gelezen was ik hier überhaupt niet gaan eten. Vaste elite klanten kregen wel alle aandacht. Deze tent gaat om mensen die gezien willen worden, maar service hebben ze nog nooit van gehoord. Wc ook heel goor. Hygiëne totaal niet op orde.

Our regular spot in beautiful Eindhoven for a number of years for drinks on the terrace or dinner in the evenings. Fair prices with top service and delicious fresh dishes.

We were only there for wine and snacks. We sat in the winter garden, which is nicely heated, and enjoyed our delicious red wine and a great cheese platter in peace. Highly recommended!

Delicious food! And nice, good service. Although there is a terrace, smoking is apparently also allowed in the conservatory. Luckily we were still able to get a spot inside. Every now and then a hint of smoke would pass by from outside, not very nice.

Zwaar overrated en veel te duur. T was prima maar niet meer dan dat. Drank is veel te duur. Twee mini hamburgers voor 18 euro met verder niets erbij is echt triest. Ze zagen er leuk uit (broodje was overigens te krokant gebakken) maar meer niet.

Average food for top euro prices. The service is good and the place is also nice, but the food certainly is over-priced.

We had a delicious lunch this afternoon. My wife had the Martino sandwich (no photo) and I had the crostini with eel. Accompanied with fries with truffle sauce and parmesan. We will definitely come back!

Lovely sat on the heated terrace with the dogs on Boxing Day. Everything was tasty, wines, snacks and was well taken care of The dogs were also well taken care of, with water and cookies. So sweet! A wonderfully spontaneous end to the Christmas holidays for us

If you really want to have fun and good food in Eindhoven, this is the place for you! Super cozy tent, really good staff. We spent a weekend in Eindhoven and this gave the weekend a good start. Order that steak for 2 for yourself ;-) Delicious wine and good desserts. See you soon!

We left the restaurant after waiting 30 minutes without service.

Gezellig knus en leuke sfeer. We zijn hier gaan dineren in de serre, je zit er leuk en zeker fijn met de warmte lampen. Veel keus uit wijnen en een kleine kaart voor het eten. Maar genoeg keuze en gevarieerd. Wij kozen om met 2 personen het eten te delen en hebben 4 gerechtjes tegelijk besteld. Daar waren de tafeltjes wel veel te klein voor. Dat was wel een nadeel. Omdat alles tegelijkertijd kwam was onze pasta helaas al lauw/koud. Dat was wel heel jammer. We hebben er goed gegeten alleen het nadeel vonden wij wel dat de serveerster niet bepaald enthousiast was. Ze gaf ons ook vaak een snauw en deed niet bepaald vriendelijk. Wij vonden dat wel heel jammer van de avond.

Knus tentje, leuke locatie. Fijne kaart met lekkere gerechten. Inderdaad aan de prijzige kant, maar smaakvol. Wij hadden gereserveerd maar werden in de serre (koud) gezet omdat we 20 minuten 'te laat' waren. Hier waren we niet blij mee en ons beklag gedaan. Gelukkig konden we iets later alsnog in het restaurant zitten. (Niet fijn om zo ontvangen te worden!) Verder een fijne avond gehad. Wel een verschil in vriendelijkheid personeel.

De service maakte ons borrelavondje compleet!! Heerlijke Verdejo wijn. Daarna nog de kaasplank en de crispy avocado gehad. Het was heerlijk! En LOTTE was top! Zij weet de klanten service te geven. Ze kwam precies op tijd onze glazen bijvullen. Ze was correct maar toch ook gezellig. Het was een warm bad. Thnx Lotte😊

Geweldige jongen en meiden in de bediening. Snappen het reilen en zeilen van het vak en weten hoe het hoort . Vette avond gehad .

Leuk terras, kwaliteit van het eten ok, maar porties zijn klein en de prijzen groot.

Very slow service on a moderatly busy night. Waited for over an hour for the starters. Staff not too friendly. Guests around us who arrived later finished their main course before we got our starters. Had to leave early because of a personal issue and were almost charged the main course even though they had just cleared our plates for the starters. Food was decent but by far not the best you can get in this street which is packed with good restaurants.

My fiance and I had never been here. We ordered 1 tea and 1 glass of wine. They warned us and apparently we managed to order the only wine they had, but they couldn't find it. After another 10 minutes they came to tell us that they couldn't find it. So we ordered 2 teas. Normal service. Price of tea a bit high. There were many people on the veranda, a noisy situation, it was hard to understand the other person.

A good Cuisine. It has a very cozy scenery and a relaxed atmosphere. Good service and very freindly staff

Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious, especially the curry sauce accompanying the gyozas. The Caesar salad was really tasty, kitchen service was slow but the waitresses were impeccable and the wine we chose was really nice.

Prima sfeervol, echter aan de dure kant. Kaart is klein en de gerechten die erop staan helaas soms ook: 6 gambas met een dipsausje zijn geen hoofdgerecht te noemen! Moest er salade bij bestellen, echt jammer. Maar, de smaak is wel goed.

Gezellige wijnbar waar ze niet al te scheutig zijn met de hoeveelheid wijn per glas. Derhalve prijs / kwaliteit verhouding onvoldoende.

Food is delicious, wine selection is ok. Nothing wrong with it. They have winter terrace for people who want smoke while enjoying their wine too.and it is very warm and cosy.

Gisteren aan eind van de middag de lekkerste nacho’s ever gegeten plús overheerlijke bitterballen. Koffie met een verrukkelijke makaron. Bediening is top en super gastvrij. Kom hier zeker weer terug als we in E’hoven zijn! Goede sfeer!

Geweldige avond gehad met heerlijk eten en geweldige plek op het terras onder grote luifel.

Topper deze hoor. Wat een heerlijke gerechten die ik geproefd heb, compliments to the chef. Sfeer was heel hip&trendy, gezellig ook. Toffe jonge dames die zorgden dat de bediening vlot verliep met een big smile. Een aanrader wanneer je in Eindhoven een hapje en tapje wil gaan doen.

I love this place. The food and the staff are amazing!

The food is great but the service is horrendous. They talk very loud (scream) with the kitchen, no organization at all and we have seen a terrible thing: a waitress brought wrong wine at a table, the wine returned to the bar and the girl standing at the bar took 5 minutes to precisely refill the opened bottle with the wine from the wrong order. This is a disastrous act and should not happen in a place called “Vin & Cuisine”. Sorry to say, lovely food but terrible service and no wine culture at all.

Great wine, though I was waiting over 20 min to get a refill and when I finally chased the waiter, he admitted he forgot about me and my order.

mooi plekje, lekkere wijnen en vriendelijke bediening met goed advies. wellicht beetje te weinig personeel waardoor je redelijk moet wachten op de maaltijd of je drankje en je rekening

Goede ervaringen gehad bij L'avenue Vin & Cuisine. Personeel was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ik raad aan van te voren te reserveren. Vooral in het weekend kan het erg druk zijn. Ze hebben een terras waar je buiten kan zitten en een mooi restaurant waar je binnen kan zitten. WCs zagen er schoon uit. Het eten en drinken was erg lekker. We komen graag nog eens is terug!
