Nice place to sit, service was attentive. The burger was okay but nothing special. Unfortunately, the salad was very old, soggy, and inedible. There was no apology for that, but at least we didn't have to pay for it.

Received very unfriendly service on Sunday evening, August 9th. We had ordered several drinks around 10:30 PM. However, shortly after ordering, we were asked in a very unfriendly manner to leave the terrace because the establishment was about to close. We found this very strange, as the website clearly stated that the closing time was midnight. I had not even had ten minutes to finish my drink when I was addressed in a particularly curt and arrogant manner by a young waitress with brown hair in a ponytail. She told me that I had eight minutes left to finish my drink and that otherwise I would have to leave the terrace immediately. Additionally, almost immediately after receiving our drinks, we were urged to pay in a very unfriendly and forceful manner, even though we had literally only taken a sip. We found the attitude and manner of communication of the young waitress with brown hair in a ponytail, who was working that Sunday evening around 10:00 PM, to be particularly unpleasant and unwelcoming. In our opinion, there was no question of normal hospitality. The prices are also very high in my opinion. You easily pay around €13 for a fairly standard cocktail. For such a price, you should at least expect to be able to enjoy your drink in peace, especially when it is still well before closing time according to the stated opening hours. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this establishment, mainly due to the service and staff.

A French name, with a service worthy of an excellent French restaurant. The service was excellent, with a waiter who practically begs to be tipped. The menu and cuisine deserve a standing ovation for the chef with every dish served. The atmosphere was wonderful, with a good clientele in a very comfortable setting. You'll be surprised by the quality of the service and the value for money. It's clear that the customer experience is at the heart of what this restaurant strives to offer. Bravo!

Service dropped from 5 to 1. Wine glass (not empty) was snatched from the table, and when reported, the response was dismissive. Also reported it inside, with the response being "it can happen." Service far below par.

Today I stopped by Le Baron for drinks with 11 people. I went inside to ask if we were allowed to move tables and chairs. An employee went to ask a supervisor, I suspect, and shortly after, he returned with the answer: "As long as you keep the aisles clear, you may do so." Together with my girlfriend, I went to move a number of sofas and tables. I saw that all the employees were watching while we were doing this, and then another employee came over to us. I indicated to him that we had permission. He left and came back 5 minutes later saying that we had to move everything back, and that the permission only applied to the tables and chairs... He said this and walked away; they didn't help put them back due to the miscommunication. I don't think that's very customer-friendly.

We had lunch here today. We ordered a fried egg with ham and cheese, a fried egg with cheese, a latte, and green tea. The food was tasty. Unfortunately, the service was mediocre. A gentleman with short hair, aged between 25 and 35, came across as unfriendly and uninterested. Additionally, I asked a blonde lady of about 45 to 55 to settle the bill, but she never returned with the card machine. Eventually, I had to ask another employee to pay.

Popped into Le Baron for lunch on a Monday afternoon. We received a friendly welcome upon arrival. The decor is pleasant and cozy. The restaurant was quite full. We sat down in a nice lounge area with relaxing chairs by the window. We opted for the salmon club sandwich, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The welcome, service, and food were excellent, and I definitely recommend it!

Today (07-01-2026) I went to eat at Le Baron. The food was delicious, nothing to complain about, and the service was okay. When making the reservation, I indicated that it was my son's birthday (he turned 13). Apparently, they didn't feel like doing anything about it (a candle with dessert or something along those lines). When paying the bill (€170), I spoke to the waitress about it. She literally said: "I saw that on your reservation, I passed it on to him (the bartender), so you just have to be angry with him." I have worked in the hospitality industry myself for over 30 years, but that is not how you talk to guests. No apologies or anything either, but she did put a fat tip in her wallet (which was my fault for giving it).

DJ also plays nice music.But.... please train your staff and improve customer service-they forget about your orders,mixing tables,orders and it takes them so long to approach to the table as well as bringing the bill.Also please turn down music a little bit.Sometimes it is really difficult to hear each other.

You need to train your employees better. Youri van Koldenhoven, among others. A cowardly employee. It's a disgrace that you employ people like this who try to act like a man. Shame on you.

There were three of us who didn't arrive right away. The second one had to wait a long time for his first drink.

For example, it's missing things like leaving napkins, having the menu on the tables, and playing soft music.

We had a very unpleasant experience. We weren't informed about the closing time and were able to order another drink without any problem. Just six minutes before closing, a young woman came to our table and said—and I quote: "You have to finish your drink within five minutes." That's unfriendly, to say the least, especially when you've just received your drink and aren't aware of the closing time. Five minutes later, they even said: "Quick, three quick sips and then it's gone." It's like knocking back a glass of Malbec... I travel all over Europe for work, and I've never been treated so unpleasantly in all that time. When I tried to give polite feedback about this approach, it wasn't taken seriously. It's a shame, because they lost at least four customers this way...

The food at Le Baron is good, and the staff is friendly. It's a bit dark under the umbrellas...maybe consider a different color? Otherwise, everything is great!

The food (sandwiches) was generously filled and of good quality. It was all served quickly. One comment: there was a smell of rancid oil on the patio. I discovered the smell was coming from the tabletops. So, a tip for management: check your patio tables; the aroma doesn't really complement your delicious food.

A nice place to sit, eat, and drink. The service was adequate, friendly, and fast. We ordered, among other things, Argentinian steak (medium), which was good, but the meat was lukewarm and the relish too spicy for our liking, which didn't enhance the flavor. A shame, as our previous experience there with the food was better!

Unfortunately, we were treated rudely by a member of staff. He was practically belittled. It wasn't clear why this gentleman treated us that way. We ended up leaving without ordering anything. Such a shame.

I wanted to have a lovely lunch with my girlfriend today, but I've never been treated so rudely in a restaurant. I think the men must have gotten out of bed on the wrong side! Because it was a bit chilly outside, we wanted to sit inside. It was generally busy. Because I'm 5'7" tall, high tables aren't very comfortable. There was a table for two, but it was very crowded in the corner, and there were also several tables for four, but we absolutely weren't allowed to sit there. Later, they suddenly had reservations, which was really strange. We, of course, brought this up and politely asked if they could make an exception, and that we would really mind if there weren't reservations. Well, you're not allowed to say that, of course, and by the time we were seated at the table for two, we were politely asked to leave because they didn't want to serve us!

Extremely poor service, they don't know the term "customer is king." The staff starts arguing with you because you say you'd rather sit upstairs because of the noise downstairs, and you just want to have a normal, decent conversation. Then, 50 minutes before closing time, they do the last round. I've never experienced anything like this before. What a terrible place. I'll never come here again.

We had to wait a very long time for our lunch (we were inside). It would have been better to sit outside; it seemed faster. The man behind the bar was busy calling and rinsing glasses. Two girls were circling around a man, but he wasn't allowed to take orders, even though it was incredibly busy at lunchtime. Our lunches sat under the heat lamp for a long time :/. After half an hour, we asked where our sandwich was... another 15 minutes later... I spoke to one of the waitresses again... and she went to ask, eh... finally, even though it had already been under the heat lamp for over 7 minutes. The man behind the bar didn't help. Tip: hire good staff so they can help the waitresses, who were running around like crazy. Especially during lunchtime, when it's always crazy (I thought, try again). Learn from this! 🙏 The sandwiches were very tasty, the goat salad was more like a bag of lettuce with... a bit of searching, 2 cherry tomatoes, a stray pine nut, and a small piece of goat... not worth the money! The carpaccio sandwich is very good 😀. P.S. Why isn't the upstairs space used when it's so busy? Is there a staff shortage?

It's not very often that you're truly satisfied with the overall rating. You did it. We had the set menu: Carpaccio, Satay, and Dame Blanche.

The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Our clients who were dining out (who had intellectual disabilities) were treated very kindly and helpfully.

We liked it, we didn't have to wait long for French fries and wings, there were a lot of waiters.

I'll never eat here again. I ordered a hamburger, specifying no bacon. The employee delivered the burger with bacon anyway. I then explained that I wanted one without bacon and that I couldn't eat it. This was then added to the receipt. The receipt was only given after I asked for it, even though it's normal to give a receipt at checkout. The unfriendly manager refused to offer a solution, and he refused to remove the burger I hadn't even eaten from the receipt. Poor service, and I'll never eat here again.

We went here for the first time today and the food was good, but the customer service was lacking. There was still a dirty glass from the previous customer on our table. A passing employee looked at the table but decided to leave it there and clear the glasses of a table next to us. Then someone came to take our drink order. We then asked for the menu, which wasn't brought to us. We had to ask someone else again. While eating, we wanted another drink and approached an employee. As she walked away, she shouted, "NOT WITH ME!" We found this very rude and pointed it out. The answer was nonchalant, "Okay, is there anything else I can do for you?" In other words, don't be a nag. I'll never be back, that's for sure.

Een medewerker die langsliep, keek nog naar de tafel, maar besloot toch om het te laten staan en een tafel naast ons glazen op te ruimen. Daarna kwam iemand onze bestelling voor drankjes opnemen. Toen vroegen we naar de menukaart. Die is ons niet gebracht. Wij hebben dat nogmaals aan iemand anders moeten vragen. Tijdens het eten, wilden we nog wat drinken en spraken een medewerker aan. Terwijl ze wegliep, riep ze "NIET BIJ MIJ!" Wij hebben ze hierop aangesproken. Hier werd laconiek gereageerd. Een zeer onprettige ervaring.

After 9 p.m., you weren't allowed to sit on the large terrace anymore. You'd be a bit crammed under the awning.
