The price has become incredibly high for what you get, and this location is also less cozy than in Noorderplassen.

As a loyal customer of many Loetje locations, I have thought long and hard about this review. The low three stars are mainly due to the price. It has become exorbitantly high. The service was fine, with a cheerful, open atmosphere—the familiar pleasant Loetje vibe! The Bali steak was fine again; we asked for it rare. One piece was almost blue chaud (delicious!) and the other was perfectly rare. We went today to try the 3D 0.0 variant, even though we are not vegetarians. Unfortunately, the taste was not special, and the consistency was somewhat disappointing. The dessert was fine, but a tip regarding timing: if one person orders an Irish Coffee for dessert and the other a Dame Blanche, try to bring them somewhat simultaneously. All in all, we had a nice evening, but as already mentioned, the price increases are a reason to think carefully about a next visit. At competitors with the same quality, you simply get a little bit more... and no extra charge for fries/salad.

I'm used to something different at Loetje...but today...a disaster...starter after almost an hour...main course another hour and a half later...ordered fries arrived fifteen minutes after the main course, the staff's faces and demeanor...it seemed like they didn't feel like working...it's all a shame...hopefully they can do something about this..

We’ve been here several times, and to be honest, each time we had a different experience

We went there today. The first time, we waited a very long time for our food (almost an hour). That can happen on Valentine's Day. However, the steaks were cold, so we sent them back. After another almost half-hour wait, the new steaks arrived, also cold. The drinks also took a very long time to arrive. Very disappointed with how things went. We therefore left without eating. I do want to mention the lady who served us positively. She was friendly and helpful.

It was really sad, there was only 1 waitress (she had to run quite a bit) so it took quite a while before we got our drinks.

You expect the steak to be exactly how you ordered it: rare, medium rare, or well done. Even rare was almost well done. It was acknowledged as a mistake, but the fact that the person had to wait over half an hour is ridiculous. Surely you can fix your mistake in five minutes? Cooking a rare steak at home hardly takes any time...

We thought we'd have a nice meal here on Christmas Day. We were seated so close to the tables next to us that it felt like we were sharing a table with them. Then it took half an hour for drinks to arrive. Then it took another hour and a half for our food to finally arrive. By then it was already 9:30. My steak was way too salty. My wife's was good, though. The staff were way too busy and you could see them running around like crazy. Whoever planned this didn't think it through. It's not cheap, which is fine if you don't have to wait two hours for food. We'll never go here again.

Ate here once. I accidentally knocked my almost full wine glass off the table. No one offered me another, so I ordered my own. And then I was charged for it in full. Shameless.

Let me start on a positive note: I had a delicious meal. Unfortunately, I had to wait a long time for a menu, and after 50 minutes, I still hadn't received my food. They then told me there had been a mistake with my order, which happens, and I was politely given a drink on the house. Then I still had to wait another 30 minutes for my food. The restaurant wasn't full. When I asked for the bill, it took another long time, so I went to the cash register myself. The staff were very friendly, but it wasn't a smooth process. And €30 for a Coke, hamburger, and fries is quite expensive, in my opinion.

Great location. Spacious and new. And you don't even really have to leave the parking garage. Similar to Loetje in terms of food. A bit pricey for 2025, though.

We ordered Biefstuk 0.0 and Risotto.The Risotto was too salty and the Biefstuk was tasteless. The top part of Biefstuk that was burned, was bitter. Combined with the tasteless middle it was just bitter. The texture of it, looked like a genuine beef. We were waiting for our order for 1.5 hours! And it wasn't a busy day I'd say.

The food was delicious, the steak perfectly cooked, and the service very friendly. So why 3 stars? Loetje is one of the few restaurants in Almere that offers calf's liver. I go to Loetje specifically for that. On Sunday evening, they were out of calf's liver; they didn't mention that when I ordered. So I had steak with chicken livers, but no chicken livers either. As mentioned, the steak was very tasty, but this was a disappointment. And then the dessert I wanted (passion fruit bavarois) was also gone. All in all, a delicious meal, with a bitter aftertaste that I actually had a second-choice menu, even though Loetje doesn't have a very extensive menu.

The food was delicious and the service was very pleasant. I will definitely be back.

The food was very tasty and of good quality. Unfortunately, it took a long time before someone came to us after we had finished our plates. Staff regularly walked past us and also raised our hands, but they pretended not to see us. Furthermore, the service was very nice and they explained well how everything worked at Loetje.

Recentelijk daar weer een poging gedaan helaas nu echt nooit meer. Eerst maar eens een goede kok aanschaffen die de ossehaas kan bakken. Ook de sfeer hier is nul. Advies Noorderplassen altijd goed en gezellig personeel

Despite making a reservation, you're placed in a dull spot where the staff overlooks you. The food is good but expensive.

The gravy had a fishy taste, I asked the waitress to pass this on to the chef, when I asked about it at the checkout she said that the pan had been used to fry fish before... is that normal? Using a dirty pan to make meat gravy. No excuse or anything?? The fries were also limp. Ok, steak was good but oh so small. Not a recommendation or repeat for me. This one doesn't have it.

We celebrated our mother’s birthday on April 25th at Loetje Almere Centrum, and it was truly an evening to remember. My sisters and I had organised a surprise dinner to make up for all the times we were too busy to visit her. Our mother was truly touched, especially when her best friend, our aunt, showed up too. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive throughout the evening. We feasted on the famous Steak Bali, cooked to perfection and drizzled with that rich, spicy sauce, with crispy fries and a delicious salad on the side. The satay and chicken schnitzel were also big hits at our table. To top it all off, they surprised our mother with a dessert plate decorated with candles – such a thoughtful gesture! It really added to the celebration and made her feel extra special. The atmosphere was both cosy and lively, making it the perfect place for a family gathering. We all left with full hearts and satisfied stomachs. Loetje Almere Centrum truly made the occasion unforgettable. I would absolutely recommend it for a family celebration or a special night out!

A restaurant with a modern look that serves classic Dutch style biefstuk with butterjus. It serves up comfort food with the consistent quality of a clock. Just like many of its other chain restaurants. The atmosphere inside is great. Roomy, airy, clean, modern. The view outside leaves some to be desired since its right across the train station. At least you can watch all the people walking by. The staff was friendly and attentive. A stark difference to many other Dutch restaurants.

The price-quality ratio was disappointing. 150 gram steak with onions and cold!! chicken livers (de Rode Waard) for € 28.50 on a plate. Bread is special. I don't like bread for dinner. So ordered fries for €6.75. In short, a 150g steak with cold chicken livers, onions and a bowl of fries for €35.25.

I was extremely satisfied with this evening! Food was perfect, timely and delicious.... The service was not only professional and extremely friendly to us, but also to each other, and despite being packed on an already-special evening, it was not excessively busy or loud! I left a generous tip, because such good should be rewarded; definitely recommended.

Loetje midden in het centrum van Almere. Leuk gezellig ingericht restaurant met een verdieping. Zoals bij alle Loetjes, vriendelijk personeel en heerlijk gegeten!

Loetje is one of my favorite places to go out in Amsterdam. I have been to several in Amsterdam and it was always a pleasant experience. When I saw Loetje in Almere, I got excited. But my experience turned out to be below expectations, unfortunately. The atmosphere there is nice, interior is beautiful. However, the service and food was not good. I ordered my favorite Cesar salad. This is my safe choice when I don't know what to order or I dont see anything attrective on the menu....and it never lets me down. But not in this case. I left the restaurant disappointed and a little upset.

Hair of about 15 cm in the salad and still not taken out of the bill...! This can't be Loetje! Order Bali and just get tenderloin and then the waitress asks is it not Bali then...??? Don't you know what you're serving or something? Do I have to explain the difference to you? Come on! Never go to this branch again because you really don't understand what the service is like at other Loetjes! Not even close. I had never had such a bad meal at a Loetje!

The meat was amazing, done perfectly and together with the sauce, it was amazing. It is a very cosy place, so this is a must-try restaurant.

Not like we are used to from other Loetjes. Wanting to take your order after a long wait while the menu isn't even available yet. Order drinks when we arrive at dinner and only get them when we have already eaten. That's not all. Slow service, many mistakes. Loetje Noorderplassen does this 10x better.

Surprise lunch for a friend, the food was delicious and the ladies who work there were great.

After aggressive marketing I had to share my experience. The place looks nice. The service is ok, i wouldn't expect Thailand service of course. The food though, maybe it is a matter of taste. Maybe locals prefer this sort of meat and meal in general. So in general would I say it is worth a visit? Nope. A cup of coffee to relax? Maybe but the vibe is the place a restaurant and not a café. And the place is really crowded. Which I find weird, maybe locals really like the menu, friets en vlees

The food was terribly bad. I ordered a steak there for 50 euros. AH bah it was even rawer than my wife's dick. a waitress looked like Johnny Sins.

biefstuk rauw opnieuw laten bakken… boter verband. mijn biefstuk rauw opnieuw gebakken was lekker. casino wit was oud/taai geen sprite/7up aanwezig. muziek ontiegelijk zacht kon de kok horen vloeken en tieren zowat. evenlaten gingen de lichten ook nog is zachter. maar… het was wel lekker (maar niet voor die ongelofelijke prijs die jullie vragen voor een rauw stukje vlees) mvg jort

Nice location with a beautiful interior. The staff is incredibly friendly and polite. They really do their best to please the guests. The meat was well prepared but very salty. After indicating this, the staff already offered a solution that was more than polite. So you can still enjoy it!

Pros: + English menu is avaliable (but only by QR code) + Steak flavour was very good + Entrée and dessert were okay + A good selection of alcohol free drinks Cons: - Liver dish was very salty and oily. Also the dish was not presented in an appetising way which you would expect. - Gravy sauce with the steak was way too salty. Also we asked if it would be possible to have the steak as a medium plus, they said yes. But when the steak was served it was medium rare. - Service was slow, and they mixed up tables a lot - We had reserved a table, but instead of having a table specifically reserved for us, they placed us at one of the very last tables available (which was in a pretty bad location) - If we order a bottle, I would expect it to be poured. - Not the most romantic date atmosphere We had heard great things about this restaurant chain and reserved a table for valentines, but unfortunately, we ended up being very disappointed.

Beautiful interior, typically poor service for these times and an excellent piece of meat. However, the gravy (Bali) was broom salt. Disturbed sleep due to unhealthy thirst guaranteed. It's a shame, because the steak itself was tasty.

Wat een teleurstelling. De biefstuk Loetje M was echt veel te klein, nog geen 150 gram. Wel goed gebakken. De biefstuk ‘de Roode waard’ was nog veel kleiner; portie M waren 2 biefstuk puntjes (samen 75 gram) met 2 kippenlevers heel veel ui en royaal spek. Te gaar jammer genoeg. Je eet eigenlijk uien met spek want de biefstuk met kippenlevertjes is 4 happen. Dit kan echt niet, schandalig weinig maar wel de hoofdprijs vragen. Verschil met Loetje Enschede is mega; daar krijg je wel de portie die je verwacht. Ik ben geen grote eter, maar dit was zwaar onder de maat.

Mediocre. Very small piece of steak, in a bath with way too salty gravy for a very high price. Price/quality ratio is simply not good. I really have the feeling of an overhyped place, they think they can do everything because they are full anyway. Don't think I'll be going there again anytime soon.

I expected more, the steak wasn't great but it was good (a lot of muscle in it). The gravy was very watery, I actually expected a stock but it was just gravy made with oil (not even with butter I think) there were no vegetables that were ordered separately and then I only got 1 type of vegetable and that was also quite good. pricey. Shame.

We had dinner here with 3 people on Christmas Day, everything was delicious, from starter (pumpkin soup) to main course (the steak in gravy) to dessert (cream brûlée/apple pie). The staff was friendly. The only disadvantage we found were the chairs we sat on, which were not comfortable.

We had a Christmas party with the company. Not sure how much was bad planning from our side and how much the place but: There was shortage of seating arrangements (fairly quickly solved), not enough manpower to serve the alcoholics in our party (turned out reasonably fine, since there was at least 1 who has had one too many). An hors d'oeuvre was ok, some salmon whatever and carpaccio (the latter is very hard to get wrong)! Plate of seared tuna was overcooked: its seared tuna...not baked. The meat was good for me, but everyone got the same "rare" and I'm pretty sure there are at least a few in our party who can't stommach their day job, let alone some meat with blood in it.

Voor het eerst bij Loetje gegeten. Eten was prima maar duurde wel erg lang voordat er aan ons gevraagd werd wat we wilden drinken/eten/als toetje wilden hebben. Het enige wat snel was was het bestelde eten, drinken duurde erg lang en de vraag of we toetjes wilden duurde ook erg lang. Bediening is vriendelijk maar niet erg afgestemd op de drukte. Misschien een idee om minder reserveringen aan te nemen. Waarschijnlijk is dit mijn laatste keer Loetje, het eten vond ik niet bijzonder genoeg voor de wachttijd die er vanavond was. Jammer dat een volle tent belangrijker is dan terugkomende gasten.

De kwaliteit van het eten is ALTIJD goed. Het is helaas wel wat aan de dure kant. De jus bij de biefstuk is zalig! Lekker soppen met wit brood. Het brood was helaas een beetje uitgedroogd. Waarschijnlijk net het bovenste stukje. Dat was echter niet de eerste keer, daar mag beter op gelet worden. Het sticky toffee dessert is een echte aanrader. Het terras is niet echt sfeervol.

Het eten was lauw warm, hebben het gezegd tegen de bediening en die zouden het doorgeven aan de keuken,voor de rest niks meee gedaan , er zaten op die bewuste zondagavond hooguit 30 klanten te eten!

Heerlijk koffie gedronken laatst. Prima service en mooie locatie! Erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel!

Met 10 man op zondag 4 november hier gegeten eten was prima maar bediening waardeloos 15 minuten wachten op eerste drankje de biefstuk was al voor de helft op hebben moeten vragen of de rest van het bestelde eten appelmoes friet uien champignons enz nu kwam anders was dat niet meer nodig . Jammer ik ga hier nooit meer eten boathouse was deze avond bezet maar daar loopt het bedienen gesmeerd

Lekker eten en drinken vooral bekend om de biefstuk

Loetje is een begrip en over de biefstuk valt niet te klagen. Super mals. Maar de bediening was traag omdat het veel te druk was. We hebben maar 1 keer iets te drinken gekregen en hebben de laatste bestelling retour laten gaan omdat we klaar waren om naar huis te gaan. Los daarvan was de bali saus zoooo zout dat het gewoon niet te eten was. Ik maak zelf thuis ook Loetjes en daar zouden ze nog van kunnen leren ;) Concept blijft top, maar als ik veel geld uitgeef wil ik ook kwaliteit. En dat was het in de Boathouse niet. Wil het zeker nog een keer proberen maar dat is dan ook de laatste keer. Helaas woon ik er vlak naast dus zou het jammer zijn als ik niet vaker zou kunnen komen.

Was voor mij de eerste keer bij Loetje. We werden door een vriendelijke jongeman bediend. Het biefstuk was voor mij een stukje jeugdsentiment. Precies zoals mijn oma hem maakte. De frietjes waren niet echt warm maar dat werd gelijk netjes opgelost. Echt heel tevreden! Gelijk afgesproken dat we dit snel weer zullen doen en dan met mijn vader.

Sfeerloos helaas. Eten is wel goed.

Zeer vriendelijk bediening. Het pand is zeer groot, Maar heel modern zeker de moeite waard

Je krijgt hier niet alleen heerlijk te eten maar er is ook een supervisor die je extra kennis bijbrengt helemaal top!

Het jongeren personeel zien het net niet. Verwacht dan toch voor deze prijzen dat ze wat beter ingewerkt worden. Jammer dat je alles los moet bestellen. Maar aan de andere kant wel te begrijpen omdat er anders weer teveel wordt weggegooid. Maar een zielig bordje friet voor 6 eur vind ik persoonlijk prijzig, Al met al voor mij geen herhaling meer na 3 bezoekjes, het eten is op zich redelijk maar voor de prijs die je ervoor betaald vind ik het niet waard.

Lekker gegeten en zeker een aanrader. De Dam blanche is erg lekker maar de crème brûlée was een tegenvaller. Verder zeker het bezoeken waard.

Was opzich wel prima, maar het was ontzettend warm binnen (combinatie veel glas weinig airco denk ik). Ijs in je drankje was moeilijk, terwijl je dat toch wel mag verwachten van een horecagelegenheid van dat niveau. Bediening was prima, had wat sneller gemogen maar was weinig personeel die dag. Eten was lekker. Totaal ervaring was mwa, had wat meer verwacht zeker omdat we gereserveerd hadden.

De naam is groot en bekend. De ervaring was ook dit keer weer 'ok'. De zaak was relatief rustig, was erg lastig te vinden vanuit de parkeergarage en 1ste ontvangst prima. Daarna werd het snel minder, na het opdienen van het hoofdgerecht werd het lastig om geholpen te worden, bij het hoofdgerecht kwam een deel niet en deel verkeerd en daarna zagen we niemand meer. Dus met een wisselend gevoel weer naar buiten. Eten was prima, maar de ervaring miste nog wel iets.

Een leuke locatie om effectief te kunnen werken! We werden gastvrij onthaald en konden gebruik maken van elektriciteit. De geitenkaas salade was heerlijk en kon glutenvrij aangeboden worden. Loetje zou nog een groter succes zijn wanneer zij glutenvrij brood, sojamelk en chai tea latte zouden hebben ;)

Pure vreet schuur en personeel is heel chaotisch.
