Le Big Fish in Kinkerbuurt

Ordered fish and chips. Got chewy, cheapest kibbeling and extremely mushy fries. This for 15EUR is a crime. Literals not fish and chips.

The sandwiches are so nice and soft, delicious sauces with the meat, perfect taste, good quality!

Oyster was okay, fish and chips were below average. You can do better than this

The food is very delicious. I liked the shrimp 🍤 and the oysters 🦪.

Podría estar revisando una postura equivocada, pero tal vez ha cambiado de mano / nombre? Tenía Mer du Nord, frab de concha suave y ostra bastante fresca y bastante sabrosa. Precio razonable.

The texture was pleasantly crispy of the food I ate. I had the soft shell crab bun and fish and chips. Really enjoyed all of it. Tartar sauce was a good accompaniment with the fish and chips. I'm glad the meat didn't just slide out of the breading. Made it much more pleasant!

Although there was little going on, the staff clearly seemed overwhelmed. Perhaps by the end of the year the two men had lost their desire to work. Making the customer wait twenty minutes for a portion of fish and chips is far too long. The food was not very tasty and far too expensive. The good rating regarding the ambience is due to the overall impression left by the food halls. Nice concept.

The nice staff explained that this is my “fish” and “chips” pointing to each tray. It was quite filling, but i was expecting more of a breaded slice of fish. The fish was also more dry than expected unfortunately, but

Nice service. Food looks great. Very “interesting” in terms of taste. The Krabby Patty was very tasty and recommended. The prawn burger was quite spicy, even though I eat spicy regularly, my partner's mouth burned. I personally find the price-performance ratio to be borderline.

Muy buena opción dentro del mercado Food Hallen. Comimos fish and chips por €14 y probamos una ostra por €4 Muy bueno y recomendable.

I just wanted one thing from their menu and they did not disappoint. Name has changed, and it's a 1 man stall operation, he was very nice

Nous avons pris un mix medium et une espèce de petit pain avec du poisson. Sous la panure bien grasse, très peu de poisson. Des petits pains comme une éponge. Les scampis frits étaient tellement cuits qu'à l'intérieur c'était pâteux, heureusement qu'il restait la queue sinon impossible de dire ce que c'était. C'était très cher et nous avons jeté la moitié.

Came here because I saw the bao buns on the menu. I then realized they had fried cod as an option, and I had to try it. They were so good! They're a decent size for the pricepoint, and they came out sizzling hot.. One thing I'd suggest is that they keep at least a two-man staff. Looked like they had a staff member from one of the other food stalls that would alternate with their crew.

The Dutch Oyster were delicious and if not for the price I would have many many more. Added a second round after.

Great tasty food. We tried 4 dishes: lobster roll, fish and chips, cod chunks, and herring. All delicious and fresh. Service is a bit hectic though. The staff is nice and polite, but slow and unorganized. The cashier was switching from taking orders and preparing food, all with the same gloves touching everywhere. They also ran out of napkins and asked us just to take them from another food stand. The food hall has a nice vibe.

We had fried calamari and wasn't bad. Wasn't great either. Prices are quite steep and service unresponsive and slow. Not great

Beoordeling 1 omdat lager niet kan. Zeer Kleine oesters maar wel voor 3 euro per stuk, goed aan de prijs dus. Daarnaast staan oesters ca 20 min op te warmen op bar, omdat personeel te “druk” is om even aan te geven dat onze portie gereed was. Kortom toerist trap, don’t go there,. Ga naar de eerste de beste haringkar, betere keuze.

Very nice sea food, great choice of meals (oysters, buns, snacks). Friendly staff will recomend you catch of the day. Fried squids are crispy, buns are amazingly fresh, dutch herring - absolute must try, if you like raw fish and if you want to eat like locals eat (served with pickels and onions in a bun).

Great food, pleasant service, tried 3 different dishes, squid fries, crispy cod and dutch herring...al were excellent! I dont understand why the rating ia so low, I would deffi itely recommend the place for fast seafood...

Heerlijke oesters en broodjes (buns) gehad

Heerlijke bisque, goeie oesters en smakelijke garnalenkroketjes. Je waant je bij 'Le Big Fish' in De foodhallen van Parijs of Barcelona. Door het zien van de oesters kregen we meteen zin om hier een stop te maken. Alles was lekker en de bediening vlot en vriendelijk, dus zeker dat we hier terugkomen!

Topplek op een mooie locatie. Lekker eten en informele bediening. Zeker aan te raden , ook als toerist!

Le Big Fish bezoeken als ik in Amsterdam ben, is inmiddels verworden tot een vaste gewoonte. Het is de 'omrij-wijn' voor heerlijke visgerechten. Dat Le Big Fish verbonden is aan 2 sterrenrestaurant 212, proef je. Gewoon doen!

No idea why there are so many negative reviews of this place. Had fried cod nuggets and fried fish buns two nights running and they were crazy good. Food is well prepared, fish is fresh, and the menu is simple but has real depth to it. Definitely worth a stop if you like seafood!

Le Big Fish is een van de weinige stalletjes in de Foodhallen, waar verrassend smakelijke, zij het prijzige visgerechten worden geserveerd. De taco met zalm en zelfgemaakte jalapeñosaus is een aanrader.

Salmon taco was almost to die for. The sauce was made by hand from the flavor to judge, and very unique. Presentation was beautiful, loads of color. Waiting time only a couple of minutes. Soft shell crab had a bit too much batter, taking away too much of the crab flavor. Also, prices were despite the great location a bit on the pricy side.
