Le Café in Wijk 01 Nijmegen-Centrum

I spent over three hours here just chilling out. A great little spot to just stop and be.

It's been our local pub for a while now. Every time we go somewhere new, we always feel a little homesick for Le Café. It has a cozy atmosphere, fantastic staff with a personal touch, and great music. And we haven't even mentioned the mulled wine and Aperol spritz: hands down the best in town. You come in as a guest, but leave as a regular!

Seemed like fun during carnival, but we were told by someone (who we hadn't seen behind the bar all evening) after 1 beer accidentally spilled that we didn't belong there. It's a real shame, we all work in the hospitality industry and understand it normally, but even after trying to start the conversation it went this way. While the atmosphere was good for us, others also enjoyed it. Very unfortunate! Because the first impression was good.

A lovely, welcoming bar. Enjoyed sitting in the sun with a beer or two during my recent visit to Nijmegen. Will certainly be back, thank you. Didn't have food, so can't comment on that sorry. But what I saw looked great.

What an amazing place to sit down, have a wine and some bites in the sun. Run by a lovely couple who are also very attentive to your needs and brings a flair to the service. Excellent wine and the bites were good as well, with a nice presentation and always on hand to top off the glass. Would definitely recommend sitting here, more so on a lovely sunny day!

Great bar with a wide selection of beers (more than 60 special beers) and a great sphere. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, giving us explanations about the beer we’ve been advised! Overall a great experience for a very reasonable price!

A super nice brown café as it was meant to be. Nice bar staff, good snacks and a very wide range of drinks. Always nice to just walk in, have a drink for an afternoon or relax in the evening! You can also eat delicious pizzas so that the drinks can be extended.

Awesome little place. We went there for a tea but ended up staying till they closed! The staff is great. The place is cozy inside, they have board games and a piano! Tea and beers were good.. Thanks Le Café, we'll be back !

Today unexpectedly in Nijmegen. Nice city with many nice shops and terraces! The shopping street was overcrowded. This café in a side street is surprising. Nice casual atmosphere with a nice terrace in the sun. Enough space inside too! Beautiful (non-alcoholic) cocktails, 10 open wines and 60 (!) types of beer. Drinks, nice music, beautiful lighting, games and a nice contemporary no-nonsense “bar owner”. The nice thing is that you can also hold meetings or do a team building activity there. The owner has many ideas and is no stranger to Nijmegen. Had a nice time!
