Le Petit Bistro in Wijk 01 Sneek

Klein maar knus en leuk restaurant. Gastvrouw en kok zijn zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam . Geven beide aan tafel goede informatie over de verstrekte wijnen en de verstrekte gerechten. Alles wordt op een perfecte manier geserveerd. Wij hebben voor een 6-gangen menu, inclusief aperitief, wijn arrangement , water en koffie ongeveer €350,— per koppel betaald. Of je het ervoor wilt uitgeven zal voor iedereen anders zijn maar wij vonden het bedrag het zeker waard. Voor ons echt een aanrader.

Op de website staat "Persoonlijk, Vers, Lokaal" en dat klopt helemaal. Echter is het meer dan dat, in dit fijne 'petit' restaurant ga je niet dineren maar je voor een smaak belevenis. Aangevuld met een professionele bediening en wat voor mij als wijnliefhebber maar ook de 'BOB' een hele nieuwe ervaring was (en erg positief) was de alternatieve alcohol vrije dranken assortiment bijpassend bij de verrukkelijke en met aandacht gemaakte gerechten. Kortom als we weer in de buurt zijn gaan we zeker terug en kunnen we het de echte liefhebbers van verfijnt dineren zeker aanraden!

They are professional and passionate. Food was delicious. And they are flexible and creative for people who have specific allergies or dietary requirements. And if you don't drink, they can also offer you special and tasty non-alcoholic drinks that match the dishes perfectly. Highly recommended!

We had a very enjoyable evening with great food and very nice service. The kitchen is inspiring and of very good quality, a mixture of local and French touch. The menu was a very pleasant surprise with well chosen accompanying wines. Our daughter had a vegetarian menu especially prepared for her, wich was no problem after previous announcement in the reservation. The service was very friendly and personal and added to the all over great experience. Regarding the price we find it good value for the quality of the restaurant. We would come back any time.

Simply amazing. We ate here in July, the cozy atmosphere, the explanation of the food that perfectly matches the flavors, and the matching wines make it complete. Very enthusiastically presented, both the dishes themselves and the service at the table.

In short, a great thing. Because there are only 7 tables, the owners run the restaurant with just the two of them. You notice that the two are perfectly attuned to each other, so that every action at the table happens at exactly the right time and a lot of time and attention is given to the guest. We enjoyed every dish in this classic French kitchen. The cooking was perfect everywhere, the structures fitted together seamlessly and the flavor combinations were as they should be in every dish. We chose the matching wines and they were all very tasty. One wine was exactly as you expected it to be, while the next was daring and full of surprises. Matched very well with the food and the entire experience. We live far away from here but we will definitely come back!

The restaurant's “carte blanche” concept is good for surprises, but it really works. We enjoyed four finely balanced courses full of exquisite components, combined with impeccable wine accompaniment. This was topped off by the alcohol-free accompaniment, which was able to spark new enthusiasm every time. The service and chef accompanied us four guests in an extremely friendly, courteous and informative manner. And in the end, the price quoted for the delicacies was right. Thank you and gladly again.

What a great restaurant. The food was very good, lots of variety. The wines were so well matched to the dishes. You are really pampered. All dishes are explained and also the wines. We had a package. A formidable restaurant.

Way too expensive and bad service. Four of us were supposed to come for dinner, but when friends were sick with the flu, we ended up with two. While the restaurant was packed, we could not get the deposit back or even spend it as a voucher later. Afterwards the hostess turned out to be cold and unsympathetic, while she pretended to be different on the evening itself. Young people with a bit of inexperience if you ask me.

The least cooperative restaurant I have come across. I will keep the story short, but we had made a reservation for 4. Unfortunately, due to illness, we were only able to dine with 2. Canceled immediately in the morning, so that they had time to respond to this. We had to pay €25pp which was non-refundable if we didn't show up. When canceling by telephone in the morning, no refund was discussed and since there was no complete cancellation, I expected cooperation from the restaurant. There was also no request for possible cooperation in ordering a vegetarian menu. However, the deposit was not cleared on the bill (without any communication), so I asked the restaurant for a response. I could expect a plain email back, after which I asked to call me back. Paid a hefty bill for 2 people and certainly not withheld. Costs have been completely removed, but remain steadfast in withholding a €50 deposit. There are many examples of how you can win more guests and get better word of mouth advertising. For us a big 1 with a pencil. Restaurant with a short-term vision that is not aimed at retaining guests. They show no compassion whatsoever, no interest in the guest's story.

We really enjoyed it at Le Petit Bistro. The welcome is immediately warm and the atmosphere wonderfully relaxed. Each course is special, surprising and tasty and the matching wines (with enthusiastic explanation) provide a real taste experience.

Amazing experience! We had a 6 course dinner and enjoyed it immensely. The food was very good, the service was very attentive and interested. A lot was said about both the food and the wine. The ambiance is small, but that makes it very personal, which we experienced as very pleasant. Time was really taken. I recommend this restaurant to everyone and would even eat there again.

High-quality dishes that are great in terms of both appearance and taste! A nice and relatively small restaurant which benefits the chosen atmosphere. They are selling themselves short with bistro, as far as we are concerned it is a Le petit grand restaurant. The service is professional but fortunately also open and friendly. The wines chosen compliment the dishes perfectly. All in all, a great restaurant from a young, promising 'restaurant brigade' who enjoy their profession and you can see, feel and taste it. Definitely recommended and we will come back here together or with several others!

The oysters are delicious and Benthe your knowledge and stories about the wines were a pleasure to listen too. If you havent been here, you better book your seat asap. Visited again yesterday and met the new operators. Young, enthusiastic professionals with a passion for the profession. This is also evident from the dishes and wines. Of exceptional class and star-worthy. In a word, great and highly recommended.

Truly an experience! For us, new (young) owners of Le Petit Bistro, who certainly create their own style. Surprising and delicious food and drinks. In the beginning you try to remember everything that was made and said, but it turned out to be better to let it go and just experience it. Once again an extremely beautiful palette of flavors and works of art. An all-inn 5, became 6 course menu! In addition to fun, also a nice contact with the chef and the maitre, who both appeared at the table with some regularity. Great! We will be back!

Absolutely recommended, wonderful special experience with beautiful wines. The surprise menu allows you to eat things that you might not normally choose, but that actually adds to the experience. Very pleasant atmosphere.

To be honest, we did not know the bistro had changed hands. But i believe it is in good hands. It is easy to be critical, but they only went live a month ago. Give them a year or so to grow into it. Creative french cuisine. Surprise menu only 4 to 7 courses. Limited winelist, but pairing is fine, but a little stingy. For a French bistro we missed a bit the "joie de vivre"... a bit timid the atmosphere. I am sure when the chef patron losens up a bit, it'll change. Go and give it a go!

If you want to experience a pleasant culinary experience, then you should definitely eat at this restaurant. Set up on a small scale, the owners offer you a multi-course surprise dinner with matching wines or matching non-alcoholic fruit juices if you wish. The food is more than delicious, and the experience is doubled by the attentive hostess and host. We opted for the 6 course dinner. Recommended!!

Cozy place and delicious dishes.

Yesterday my wife and I had dinner here as a surprise from work and wow we enjoyed it! Very quiet and homely atmosphere! But you do have the feeling that you are "really" eating out! This young duo hasn't been in this place for very long, but they are getting there! We received super hospitable service and had a delicious meal with matching wines that were very well selected! Only praise! Keep going! Hopefully see you soon!
