Leuk Restaurant in Schagen (woonkern-Midden)

Nice (haha) restaurant. Good food, friendly service. And we were able to sit outside in a cozy courtyard. Great spot! Oh, and good prices! It was a Saturday, so quite busy.

Everyone here knows their stuff (kitchen, service). I've been there twice so far: the first time for a croque monsieur with a small soup (I chose the mustard soup) around lunchtime (monthly menu) and again in the evening for the grass-fed beef fillet (diner menu). Everything tastes great together. I was particularly impressed by the quality of one (seemingly) small detail: the fresh cucumber (in the salad/side dish) was pickled in a similar way to the way pickles are usually pickled. I've never eaten anything like that anywhere before, and I was thrilled. 🤩 I'll only be in the region for another three days, but I'll definitely eat there again. The interior and the friendliness of the staff are also worth mentioning. I'm in love 😊

We went there for coffee and cake at the recommendation of our neighbors, but also had a bite to eat (bavette). A nice, informal atmosphere, friendly service, and good food. A very impressive garden, nice and cool under the plane tree 😀. It's a bit out of the center, but definitely worth the walk.

Leuk in Schagen is a fantastic restaurant. We had a wonderful meal here in the beautiful outdoor garden. The tasting menu was delicious. They cook with love and care. Everything tasted equally delicious. Attentive and friendly service. Thank you for a lovely evening.

The food was excellent, but the room has a bit of a reverberation, and when it's busy, you'll notice it. They have nice arrangements that are worth it. The tables can sometimes be a bit small.

A very nice café and restaurant. The food was excellent and beautifully presented. They use primarily organic ingredients, which is very evident. The service is impeccable and very friendly. You should definitely make a reservation to get a table. There is plenty of parking nearby, and the restaurant is wheelchair accessible. The outdoor area is also particularly nice, but it was raining, so we sat inside.

Had lunch here this afternoon and it was good. Friendly staff and we were helped quickly enough despite it being busy. For lunch we chose Leukste Lunch with asparagus soup. Good choice, tasted very good.

It wasn't our first visit to this great restaurant - and whenever we end up near Schagen again, it won't be the last either. This time we were there at lunchtime and had to choose between absolutely delicious meals on the menu. Not an easy task, as almost everything would have met our taste. Ultimately it was a bread with brie, salami, walnuts and balsamic syrup on the one hand and a Leuk! burger with fries and homemade mayonnaise on the one hand. A real treat! And the portion was so sufficient that we were able to do without another meal in the evening. The restaurant is lovingly designed, which creates an overall convincing ambience. It also has an absolutely cozy inner courtyard for warmer days. No matter where you sit, you feel comfortable and in good hands. See you soon, Leuk! See you soon...

Beautiful cafe/restaurant. Personally, the cake was too sweet for us. And the sandwiches too dry. But that's a matter of taste. Thanks for the great service and the good time.

Been a number of times and always a great experience! The staff is very involved with the guests and do their utmost to please everyone. The menu is extensive, but not ridiculously large. Tip: try the delicious types of tea. A highlight for me is the jasmine coffee with caramel. Really great!

A delicious family lunch with 8 people.

Very tasty food, pleasant service. Two tips: the tacos came with a plastic bottle with a sauce. It looked nice, but yes...plastic? And furthermore: ginger tea is delicious with a slice of orange, as served, but it also came with a sprig of mint and that is very overpowering. That's why I hardly tasted ginger.

Menu was good. I especially thought the selection of starters was very nice and tasty. We just had to wait a long time, this was resolved with a free drink, very thoughtful.

Leuk is a nice place to eat for, among other things, a High Tea. You can also have lunch and dinner here. The interior has been given a refreshing white makeover

Fantastic little restaurant. We were there with 2 people for afternoon coffee. Ate great appeltaart with slagroom. Highly, highly recommended. Lovingly prepared and very tastefully served. I really liked the style of the furnishings. A place to feel good. The service was excellent. We will be happy to come back.

We had a delicious meal here: a particularly tender and juicy chicken thigh satay, with lots of satay sauce. And the strawberry Romanoff was a very good choice for dessert. It was wonderfully cool in the attractive courtyard, and the service was smooth and friendly.

We had lunch here. The service is very friendly and the service is quick. I had a warm brie sandwich, salami with walnuts and balsanic syrup. The bread was two slices of baguette cut diagonally, it seemed. Well filled and the bun was wonderfully crispy, very well done. And it tasted very good. I just want to give a tip, the salami is so tasty and salty that less salami toppings improve the taste, which was now a bit overpowering. But otherwise very good.

The name says it all. 'Fun'. Although the table was still very dirty when we sat down, this was quickly resolved. The nachos were very good, staff very friendly and it feels like a familiar living room.

It does live up to its name. The food is also fine, unfortunately the sandwiches were mixed up, where spelled bread was requested, white bread was given and vice versa. One more disadvantage, with a walker I could not go inside to the toilet, and NO disabled toilet. Luckily I also had my stick with me, because it was all steps. Yet friendly service and nice surroundings.

Nice little restaurant with very nice service and delicious food. Five of us were there spontaneously and all the dishes were very good and tasty in terms of price-performance ratio. Only recommended...maybe also for high tea, which we saw at the next table.

It's not called "fun" for nothing

Well nice to have a drink there. My daughter and I thought coffee with a liqueur sounded nice, so we went in and ordered that. Well uhmm liqueur was really less than 4 millimeters in a super small glass filled with whipped cream What a disappointment and not fun at all. So no, I don't have to go there anymore. I'll go somewhere nicer from now on

Too expensive. 2 coffees with pastries (cheesecake and apple) -> almost 18 euros ?? Just over half on Texel. Shame on you.

Leuk is a restaurant in Schagen with a special kitchen and friendly service. Here you immediately feel at ease and relaxed.

We really enjoyed the fantastic dishes, the delicious drinks and the mindful service. “Proosten en proeven” is an fantastic offer with a very fair price. We definitely want to come back. Thank you very much!

We had dinner at restaurant Leuk on Christmas Eve (2023). We come here with a certain regularity. We always experience the homely atmosphere and the pleasant service as pleasant. This is also the case again on Christmas Eve. The Christmas menu was well prepared, tasty and complete. The service was also very pleasant. They clearly enjoyed it. We would also like to pay attention to the kitchen brigade. Out of our sight they prepare the most delicious dishes. The pressure will often be high. It is worth thinking about that. We always liked coming here. Even coffee and cake was always beautifully decorated. Suddenly that was no longer the case. It became more sober and the last 2 times we were there, we got the apple pie 10 minutes after coffee. When I said something about that, the lady asked if we wanted to order another coffee. If you're okay with serving pastries 10 minutes after coffee, I won't be back.

Heerlijke lunch gehad. Snelle service en leuke ongedwongen sfeer. De lekkerste cappuccino ooit gehad. Wel een beetje koude tocht daar. Maar dat mocht de pret niet drukken 😁

De koffie was goed, maar de appeltaart kwam uit de magnetron niet te eten Wij komen er niet meer

Heerlijk gegeten bediening zeer vriendelijk. Gerecht werd zelfs wat aangepast ivm dieetwensen. Leuk gezellig huiskamersfeertje. Zeer de moeite waard.

Schön gelegenes Café mitten im Ort. Bei schönem Wetter kann man draußen an der Straße und im Innenhof sitzen. Der Service war teilweise etwas überfordert, da es recht voll war. Dadurch haben wir etwas länger gewartet. Die Speisen und Getränke waren sehr gut und ansprechend angerichtet.

Een leuk restaurant, doet zijn naam eer aan. In een sfeervol pand, leuk ingericht. Bediening is vriendelijk en de gerechten komen mooi op tijd. Niet te snel, niet te traag. Het eten is lekker. Niet een grote kaart, maar voldoende variatie in de keuze en een redelijke prijs. De kaart komt overigens niet overeen met de op hun site vermelde gerechten.

High tea, brunch en avondeten het is allemaal leuk! Echt een aanrader

Wat een ontzettend fijn plekje is dit zeg! Zaterdagmiddag geluncht met kinderen en opa en oma, voor ieder wat wils. Ontzettend attente bediening, heerlijk eten! Complimenten!

Heel gek, we wilden hier ontbijten...om 9.35 uur ongeveer. Maar omdat ze "pas" om 10.00 uur open gingen kon men geen broodje klaarmaken!!! Wat een ondernemerschap! Dit ging erbij ons niet in!!! Dus omdat we al koffie hadden besteld, hebben we maar wel op gedronken. Die koffie kon wel, maar ook maar net.....

Heerlijk gegeten in de sfeervolle buitentuin. Alles vers en super bereid. Ook de aankleding op het bord is een feestje. Personeel is heel aardig en gastvrij echt een dikke 10! Een aanrader !

Essen war hervorragend und mit Liebe zubereitet. Gefühlt war es jedoch ein wenig zu teuer. Trotzdem oder gerade auf Grund der Güte kann ich das Restaurant nur weiterempfehlen! Die Bedienung war außerordentlich freundlich.

Prima gegeten maar misschien wat duur voor de hoeveelheid. Ook omdat de gevraagde frites nooit onze tafel hebben bereikt. Er wordt snoep uitgedeeld aan de kinderen. Dit vonden wij niet nodig.

Leuk restaurant, wij hebben geluncht buiten aan de voorkant. Buiten en binnen zeer sfeervol ingericht. Vriendelijke meiden in de bediening. Eten was lekker en voldoende en mooi gepresenteerd.
