I really don't understand the hype surrounding this restaurant: The food was mostly okay and tasty (oysters, kingfish, duck breast), but some were a bit bland (seasonal fish), and the portions were ridiculously tiny! An adult with a normal appetite needs about four main courses, each costing between €15.50 and almost €20, to feel somewhat full; two are by no means enough (which we unfortunately assumed)! Furthermore, even the pre-meal bread with two small bowls of dip, a standard "extra" in almost every good restaurant, costs an extra €6.50. If you're still hungry for dessert, you'll quickly spend almost €100 without drinks. We think that's simply too expensive! We opted for the (albeit very tasty) fries to fill us up.

THE perfect introduction to fine dining! An absolute recommendation for anyone looking to get into fine dining on a budget. We were here and tried the chef's menu (around €50 per person). You get four courses, with two dishes in each course. All courses are explained by the excellent service, so it's clear exactly what you're eating. Fantastic! You can see why they received the Bib Gourmand from Michelin. As is usual with fine dining, the plates are smaller but appropriately sized. It's truly delicious for the money! The service is also highly recommended. The waitresses and waiters were super friendly and extremely helpful. The only drawback for us was the wait between courses. We had to wait between 45 and 60 minutes between each course. Unfortunately, this was too long for us. It may have been due to larger groups at other tables that evening, otherwise, the customers must be aware of this. Hence the star deduction for the service. We will definitely come back again!

We were there for lunch. The food was delicious, and we sat outside in beautiful weather. A truly wonderful location!

Apparently, motorcyclists aren't welcome for a simple drink. Were told off by the staff with the excuse that everything was reserved, even though all the tables were empty. So I don't have to come for a full dinner.

We attended the "Life is a Beach" event, which was a great setting, with good weather, a lovely atmosphere, a great DJ (a shame about the insects). The food was top-notch again, with new dishes for us. It was a fun evening, and especially the combination of everything was worth repeating. I'll admit, drinking wine from plastic glasses is a no-go, but I get it.

The chef's menu wasn't as good as in previous years. Lots of purées and sauces, and the flavors were bland. The fennel was far too hard, and the duck pieces were tough and rubbery. The amount of meat/fish was minimal compared to the purée/sauce. I can't say it was bad, but for €50 worth of dishes, I expected more. We pointed this out at checkout and later by email, but they dismissed it with, "Luckily, it was good last time." Such a shame!

Great atmosphere and the service and service also great. Of the 8 dishes we had, 7 were super tasty. One really not at all. I reported that…. I said in advance that I did not want a strong fish taste and that was it. What I found a pity was that they did not offer an alternative. Otherwise you would have had the perfect score.

We had a very pleasant and tasty cooking workshop by Mike. At our request, Mike had brought the theme to an Italian atmosphere and that resulted in a fantastic three-course dinner with surprisingly tasty twists such as garlic in our home-made stracciatella gelato. We would not have thought of that ourselves. So we learned a lot this afternoon, but above all had a lot of fun, there was plenty of tasting and of course we also decorated the plates beautifully with tips from the chef. A cooking workshop by Mike is highly recommended!

What a surprise it is every time you take the chef's 4-course menu. Each dish is served in a hot and cold version, which are delicious. In addition, the intention is well informed about what they bring to the table and explains it well. Top: We will definitely go back!

Het enige minpunt is dat sommige tafeltjes erg dicht op elkaar staan en erg klein voor twee personen.

When you can enjoy a delicious lunch and a glass of something here on the terrace in the sun, you can relax wonderfully. It is a very nice place to be. The food is delicious and the dishes are beautifully prepared (a shame to eat, almost...). The staff is always friendly and polite and can often be heard with a joke. That's what I like about it, the casual atmosphere. I have loved coming there for years. My husband and I even got married there in 2014 :-)

This is definitely a recommended restaurant for those who want to eat well and be surprised. The food is fine. Per course, we received a total of 4 courses, a hot and cold dish. There was a small but to this. The hot dish was often strong in flavors. As a result, the first bites of the cold dish were sometimes a bit disappointing, many of which were very delicate and very tasty. Rinsing your taste buds with water was desirable. The wine choices on the menu were good but often not exceptional. Atmosphere in general was friendly and casual. The service was friendly and helpful.

The food is served in 4 x 2 dishes and because we had something to celebrate (as indicated in advance), a nice plate was placed on the table with dessert. The downside was the "normal" piece of lettuce as a garnish, but this does not detract from the presentation and taste of the dishes.

We had a very nice meal at Mike's! First we had a drink outside in the sun with a view of the water, then we had dinner inside. The chef's menu is highly recommended. The flavors of all dishes are very good and it is served beautifully. The service is good, they explain nicely what is on the plate and are not pushy when offering drinks. The restaurant is attractive and quiet.

Normally not something we go to anytime soon, but we went anyway after good stories from colleagues. Special but above all very tasty food! Definitely recommended
