Very disappointing typical Chinese food for westerners. Tempura prawn was nothing like what appeared on menu pic, could tell it's from cheap frozen bag type. Pork belly was deep-fried (?!) salty, beef with broccoli was salty n vegetables were also frozen types. Even the rice tasted like frozen reheat. 47 euros for all that n a small bottle of water. What a waste of time n money. No wonder the place was empty at dinner time when we walked in.

Genuinely the best food you can get around Zuidplein. The sushi is very high quality, although that is reflected in the price compared to neighbouring sushi places. For a filling and cheap meal, check out the Johnny Cakes; They range anywhere from 3-6 euro depending on the filling and two or three of them can satisfy even the most hungry of people. The atmosphere is very nice; it's a family run business and the workers are very nice people. Highly recommend coming in and ordering anything you fancy. The only downside is that drinks are slightly expensive but that's to be expected.

The food was delicious and fresh, the portions were generous and the staff was very friendly.

Fancy a quick bite to eat before the Ahoy concert? It's perfectly fine here. The restaurant looks a bit odd, with a mishmash of dishes on the menu. Chinese, Japanese, South American? Inside, it looks just as chaotic as the menu. This chaos doesn't detract from the fact that the food was actually quite good: spicy chicken with noodles and chicken satay. It's also reasonably priced: two generous portions of food with three drinks are €47.

Better taste than any Chinese around and fresh

So glad this place has true focus on the customers and business, I was able to have food in-store 15mins before closing (based on information from their website) and yet the lady on the register said if customers decide to stay later they will close later. Thank you for your service, really needed something like this on the weekend. The lady at the register is so nice and can speak several languages - props to her. Food wise, portion is massive, taste is OK, great for craving asian food. I got pork soup, bit bland needed extra soy sauce and duck teriyaki - was fine, had enough rice to complement the sweetness of the duck

Best duck ever! I'm a Filipina who has traveled to many parts of the world. So I've tasted a lot of duck. This duck is seriously something special. Juicy meat, crispy skin, flavorful, and not too greasy.

What an experience...... total sadness, soggy, speechless and appalled. Better look further.

Little restaurant right next to Zuidplein metro. Expected some authentic Chinese food, but seems to be more Suriname/Dutch Antilles focussed. Food was pretty good. Fried rice was a bit boring, could have some more flavour and herbs, but the chicken was nicely prepared and tasty. Duck in the noodle soup was also a bit too dry for my taste. Price is maybe a bit too high for this kind of food. Interior could really use an update.

❌ Restaurant has a very cheap interior, boring and hardly attractive. Kitchen is unsanitary and there are vermin. Food expensive and not tasty. Brown fried rice is tasteless and you can easily pay €4 per person extra for drinks. Don't go here, not worth your money and no service or solution at all❌

Przepyszne jedzenie:-) Obsługa miła i pomocna. Polecam każdemu kto chce smacznie i nie drogo zjeść w klimatycznym miejscu.

Bit on the expensive side. The friend rice did not contain any egg/vegetables. Just rice tossed in sauce. The portion size is good. The sushi is ok. The outdoor seating was dirty and poorly maintained. The torpedo shrimps/tempura was nice.

Sehr lecker, Nudeln mit Gemüse - eine riesige Portion. Sushi zwar teuer, aber sehr gut. Zu zweit über 40 Euro bezahlt für je ein Essen und Wasser. Sehr nette Bedienung.

We had a wonderful dinner. Pork belly and roasted duck was very well seasoned and grilled chicken with ‘batata’ was delicious!

Went there with my friends. We ordered different dishes to share. Food was on point, atmosphere is cozy and the staff are so kind and friendly. Will come back soon again to try more food!

Zojuist eten afgehaald. Een Singapore Bami en Garnalen besteld met Nasi. Op locatie ongeveer 20 minuutjes gewacht, best prima! Het eten was smaakvol, maar was wel echt aan de zoutige kant. Werd met name bevestigd door dat ik erna veel water moest drinken. Voor 2 gerechten in totaal €35 betaald, niet persé duur maar ook zeker niet goedkoop. Er zaten bijv in het garnalengerecht maar 6 garnalen, dus dat was wel een beetje jammer. Aan de andere kant, wat voor boodschappen kan je tegenwoordig nog doen met €35. Verder echt superaardige bediening!

Took mixed vegetables with tofu and white rice. Nothing special.

In 1 zin samengevat: Alles was ok maar zeker niet geweldig. De service was ok. Ik werd netjes begroet en geholpen. Maar buiten dat moment was het personeel diep verzonken in hun smartphone. Het eten was ok. Iets aan de zoute kant maar niet te zout. Wat ik echt jammer vondt was dat er maar 1 garnaal in de combination fried rice zat.

Naar mijn mening te prijzig voor weinig eten. Maar de sfeer is wel gezellig. Sushi's zijn daar wel lekker groot & lekker. Let op:'Je kan daar geen gebruik maken van het toilet'!

De sate ku batata was heel lekker vers. Aardige bediening ook. Wel prijzig.

Goed geholpen, het is belangrijk dat je de juiste snack koopt.

Erg lekker gegeten na mijn concert. Vriendelijke personeel en leuke sfeer. Ik kom volgende keer teurg!

Heb eten gister besteld een nasigoring heel zout. Ik heb duidelijk aangegeven als het kan geen varken in door me huidprobleem want bij andere chinezen geef ik van tevoren en dan doen ze chicken nasigoreng. Me huid is nu helemaal opgezet want ik krijg gelijk reactie door varkenvlees. Terwijl ik nasi goreng en sushi had bestel ik had 38 euro betaald niet normaal een nasi goreng en sushi. En geef je netjes aan omdat je vertrouw goed service te krijgen nooit meer. Had liever naar een wok geweest.

Awesome Chinese restaurant with a Caribbean flavour from the island of Curacao. Recommended dish is the sate ku batata, which translated is sate with potatoes. The staff is very friendly and gives you a sense of welcome home. Being myself from the island of Curacao, it indeed gave me a being at home sense. Dish prices are affordable, and you can pay either with card or cash.

Beetje chaos door de drukte. Helaas die dag geen a la carte, maar het menu was lekker. Wel prijzig.

Eaten here twice in the space of a week. Amazing selection of food, lovely family of staff. The food is restaurant quality but at the price of a takeaway... and the portions are very generous.

Lekkah lekkah. Goed plekkie om langs te gaan, voordat je naar AHOY gaat.
