Great local pub. It was the perfect experience. Nice atmosphere, good drinks and advice and prices are also reasonable. Music was very relaxed.

Love this place Max and Eleni are the best and really know how to indulge into the mind of the creative through the artistry of concoctions.. Absolutely wonderful… got recommended a bunch of books based on the one i brought as well.. everything about this place makes you want to come back. I recommend very highly!!! It is also Encouraged to bring your own food which I highly appreciate :)

it's one of my favorite places ever. I love it very much and absolutely adore Max and his brewed concoctions. It has everything you can need and more. It has the magic to make you feel at ease and at home! I miss it a lot, and everyone there! I will always remember the mayonnaise sour that we made, cursed yet surprisingly good!

Such a great place for those of us with an academic background. Enjoyed my first night there and came back again and again. No food available but you can order in from outside and they are happy to accommodate that.

Really comfy place and nice bartender!

This is one of my favorites places to go for a drink in Groningen. You can either have a good coffee or warm chocolate; or having a great beer or cocktail. The service is always nice and Max is simply the best! Sometimes there are concerts and other public events like movie night or meetings. You can bring your own food and the atmosphere is fantastic, all surrounded by books and other things!

AMAZING place. THEY HAVE A WALL OF BOOKS!!! (you can even buy them). I also think this place has the best sfeer ever. The owner is also amazing. I just don't understand why you are still reading and not already on the way there...

An unmatched experience. The owner is a fun-loving eccentric who will make your night -- or even week -- without the shadow of a doubt. There's board games and all sorts of books you can read or purchase. Truly a home-like bar experience that will cement your love for Groningen!

Ontzettend gezellig café met een goede drankenlijst (inclusief veel lokaal bier)! Ik heb mijn verjaardag gevierd in de bovenzaal, die voor ons gereserveerd was. Communicatie verliep soepel, makkelijk systeem met consumptiemuntjes, kortom: zeer geslaagde avond. Ik kom zeker weer terug!

English below Ontspannen en ongedwongen sfeer, goede plek om een drankje te drinken. Prettig barpersoneel en er loopt iemand rond die alles over de boeken weet die er staan. Kortom een fijne plek om te zijn! --- Relaxed and casual atmosphere, good place to have a drink. Pleasant bar staff and there is someone walking around who knows all about the books there. In short, a nice place to be!

Amazing bar in Groningen, the staff is very friendly and they serve the best Moscow mules in town. Great cozy atmosphere, you will find a quite various panel of people to talk to, play and drink with. Also, there is a substensive amount of books to buy there fore resonable prices. 10/10, has recommended and would recommend again

Urige Kneipe mit jeder Menge Literatur zum stöbern. Wir haben ein paar Klassiker gefunden, Rezepte fotografiert. Die Kellnerin war sehr freundlich, wir wurden gut versorgt. Es gibt auch jede Menge Spiele. Was es nicht gibt sind Speisen, nur Schokoriegel etc.
