This is how a coffee bar should be. Fantastically good espresso, just like at the sister shop a little further away.

Het huiskamergevoel. Koffie die je bijblijft. Dit ervaarde ik vanmiddag. Verder werd ik vriendelijk bediend en kreeg ik alle tijd te blijven. Benoemenswaardig is de kokos-espresso. Niet eerder heb ik zo sterk een aroma en smaak in een espresso ervaren. Voor 5/5 sterren zou ik nét lagere prijzen en/of wat minder interieur-tierelantijntjes verwachten.

The place is nicely decorated, but for a specialty coffee shop I expected more. The lady behind the bar couldn't say much more about their Brazil Coco from Rum Baba than: "it tastes like coconut and I can't say much else about it". Unfortunately the espresso was cold. The price of €18.20 for 2 specialty coffees and 2 cakes is very high.

Drank a filter coffee with beans from Colombia. Coffee was tasty, but very pricey: 6 euros for a 250 ml cup...

A ten with a pencil. Today I experienced my visit to Livingstone as being really pampered. Delicious coffee made with love and ambition. I also noticed that the barista could not only make delicious coffee, but was also motivating, positive and very warm towards his colleagues.

At Livingstone Coffee in Amersfoort I loved the Dutch caramel apple pie with a black coffee. The cafe is so cute with additional seating upstairs. Staff was very friendly.

Best coffee I've had in a long time

Oh, yeah. This couldn't be more delicious. Fine, beautifully sour coffee in an impressive atmosphere. I can always appreciate when someone can incorporate seemingly stylistically disparate decorations into one complex whole. Here, the designer has done it brilliantly. Every detail seems to have its place here, fits perfectly and creates a unique mood. Perfectly prepared coffee is a matter of course. Moreover, the service is incredibly friendly and communicative. When preparing the coffee, he immediately started talking with us. The serving window from the outside was also enjoyable. For me, a beautiful place to go for a coffee! Five stars, recommendations to all and thanks to the whole team of this lovely cafe.

Good flat white, nice owner. Gluten-free carrot cake to die for! And I really enjoyed sitting outside 😌 We had a tea brand ourselves, where we purchased fairly and discovered that coffee is also purchased fairly here!

As a critical coffee lover, when we visit a city, we always find out in advance where we want to drink coffee. That is not always easy, but for Amersfoort Livingstone was the obvious choice. When we heard that we could choose between an espresso from Peru or a beautiful coffee from El Salvador, the choice was quickly made: El Salvador. How wonderful to drink such coffee that is made with accuracy! A nice subtle sourness, and then that sweet complexity. Treat yourself to coffee from Livingstone when you are in Amersfoort!

Golden café very authentic. The cakes and coffee creations were very tasty and finely balanced. The barista is unique and super friendly. There are also milk alternatives for vegans. There are also a few other drinks on offer besides coffee. Price-performance ratio is normal.

Really good coffee with friendly service and lots of options to sit inside or out (on either side of the street depending where the sun is!). Coffee was also just a bit better than the other Livingstone location in town...

Barista quality coffee and very nice service. The warm banana bread, the carrot cake, the cinnamon roll and the apple pie were unbeatable - don't leave the café without trying some of them 🤗!

Was there a while ago. Delicious coffee, flat white and tasty cakes. Alternative trendy and in my opinion far too expensive. The tip request button when pinning is also a turn-off for me.

This cafe serves the best coffee in town, a statement I don't make lightly. The cafe's ambiance added to the charm, making it not only a place for an exceptional cup of coffee but also a delightful retreat from the hustle of daily life. In all my coffee adventures, this flat white stands out as a memorable high note.

Good coffee but what a rude and shameless way to ask for a tip - this way I don't have to. Come here a few times a week but look for another place in the future.

Koffie prima maar erg aan de prijs. En dan bij het pinnen komt op het scherm de vraag hoeveel fooi erbij mag. Minstens 10%. Wacht ff dit ken ik wel vanuit Amerika. Maar daar is het geen fooi maar het salaris van de medewerkers. Want zo werkt het daar. Maar de medewerkers van Livjngstone zullen toch wel salaris krijgen? Als ik fooi wil geven, zeg ik altijd "doe er maar x euro bij" en dat gaat prima. Dit werkt dwingend. Voor mij reden ergens anders te gaan.

Begging for tips is something you do in America. It's not about not tipping being an option, it's about assuming you'll get it. But the boss often wants to go on an extra holiday... yuck. I'll drink my coffee somewhere else.

Asking for a tip is always an automatic bad review, please leave that American “Give me 15% tip for a cup of coffee” far away from the Netherlands.

Koffie smaakt heerlijk maar de prijs is absurd. Voor twee kleine cappuccino en 1 stukje wortelcake betaal je 12 euro! Nergens is een menukaart op tafel te vinden met prijzen dus bij de kassa is het: surprise

Sind hier auf einem kurzen Zwischenstopp angehalten und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Ein wirkliches süßes Kaffe und nettes Personal machen diesen Stopp zu einem Genuss. Ein Stern Abzug weil man nicht zwischen zwei Bohnen wählen konnte.

Voor de echte koffie liefhebber! Bijzondere bonen, verschillende bereidings methodes. Kwaliteit en service :)

Vanochtend met Arvid, Hedda en Ivar Elstrodt en Max van Gulik een heerlijke kop koffie gedronken, met liefde en aandacht door Charlotte bereid een geserveerd. Deze hernieuwde kennismaking met het centrum van Amersfoort in de zon was geweldig. Livingstone we komen zeker weer eens terug.

Leuke locatie in het oude centrum om in het ochtendzonnetje een heerlijk koffietje te doen. Top!

Excellent coffee! They use the Australian philosophy of coffee (eg. They say "long black", not "Americano") and they made it perfectly!

Gisteren neergeploft voor cappuccino en thee. Grote beker thee en ook de cappuccino was lekker maar.....geen lepeltje...vragen om suiker......geen koekje. ..nee, niet zoals het hoort. Bovendien was het druk en was meneer chagrijnig.

Ik had nog niks gezegd maar mij werd in een vol cafe een ‘Ja eh mevrouw, het is erg druk …’ toegesnauwd. Wat een welkom. Meneer, soms is het heel vervelend dat het zo druk is- dat snap ik best- maar dat is natuurlijk niet mijn schuld. Als het in de toekomt nog eens druk is zal dat in elk geval niet aan mij liggen. Ik ben een deurtje verder gaan kijken. Het zelfde uitzicht, goeie koffie en stressbestendige bediening.

Heerlijk koffie gedronken in een leuke atmosfeer met goede bediening. De koffie was van prima kwaliteit. De locatie is sfeervol ingericht vol met leuke kleine details. De koek die we er bij kregen was prima met een beetje jam er op. Ook leuk detail is dat er achter in de zaak een pot lange vingers staat, handig als koekje voor de kids bij hun drinken. Wellicht is een tip om de prijzen te publiceren.

Beste koffie in Amersfoort. Maakt niet uit welke koffie variant je kiest :)

We hebben heerlijke koffie gedronken! Zonder suiker, want alleen ECHT GOEDE koffie wordt zonder suiker geserveerd. Kom je even ontspannen, genieten van de rust en gastvrijheid? Dan zal ik zeker aanraden hier langs te gaan! + Probeer de Rabarber frisdrank. H E E E R L I J K !!!! 10/10

The spot to go in the city for specialty coffee. There’s plenty of seating inside and out and a nice selection of what seems to be rotating coffee offerings.

Cozy, vegan friendly (oat milk and tasty banana bread), excellent coffee and hot chocolate, friendly and helpful service.

Hele goede koffie, leuk klein zaakje in een straatje net buiten het winkelgebied vlak onder de kerk. Ook koffie to go.

Just a perfect take away coffee during our Sunday-afternoon-walk-during-Covid-19. The flat white is perfectly strong, the cappuccino was amazing and the Chocolat milk for our son was served at a good temperature (not to hot!). Best coffee in town sofar! Definitely go there.

De beste cappuccino van Amersfoort! Mijn lievelingsspot op zaterdag om even lekker een krantje te lezen, taartje te eten en mensen te kijken.

Omdat ik Amersfoort niet goed ken, zocht ik voordat ik de stad bezocht naar een aantal hotspots en vond op die manier ook Livingstone Coffee. Wat ik aantrof, was een klein knus huiselijk gezellig koffietentje, met de nadruk op koffie, huiselijk en gezellig. Nu ben ik een echte koffie-met-melk drinker, maar probeerde nu de huiskoffie zwart met een glaasje water. Het werd een bijzondere smaakbeleving. De koffie was heerlijk vol van smaak, was zacht in de afdronk en had iets kruidigs en nootachtigs. Volgende keer wil ik zeker terugkomen, maar dan eens proberen met mijn geliefde melk erin.

Leuk ingericht koffietentje met een eigenaar die echt verstand heeft van lekkere koffie! Zeker een aanrader!
