Lovely cafe in Amersfoort with some amazing cakes and coffee. We had a very nice talk with the staff who are super open and friendly. They even gave us free apple pie 🫶🏽

Absolutely loved our visit to this cafe! The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the highlight was definitely the apple pie—hands down one of the best we’ve ever had. Perfectly spiced, and buttery crust … just heavenly. Can’t wait to come back! 🍎🥧✨

Five of us were greeted by two lovely women who are the happiest people in the world. I even asked them why they're so happy. We were given free apple pie that they were not selling! 😀😀

Exht a top tent! Very cozy, good food, good prices and friendly staff. On the ground floor you can eat well and on the 1st floor is a mega large children's playground. Very nice!

Samen met m’n dochter heerlijk geluncht! De broodjes waren goed belegd (en hartstikke vers), de koffie was prima en de bediening erg vriendelijk! Nogmaals complimenten aan de dames van de bediening en hun geduld bij soms lastige klanten 😉 Nog een extra thumbs up naar het Zweedse meisje dat haar uiterste best deed de klanten in het Nederlands te woord te staan. You did great!

After waiting for 15 minutes, our neighbors (who had only been sitting for 3 minutes) were already helped. The gentleman who works there plops down next to them to take their order, looks at us, and then takes their order at his own leisure. Too bad, because the place looks great!

Been to Corazon for the second time and still not convinced. The concept and place are very nice. The menu is also extensive and what we ordered tasted very good. Only the vibe and especially the service are not quite how I like it. No apology for the wrong drink, forgotten food and not served at the same time (having lunch together then gets a different dimension). And the price on the menu is also different than at the cash register. Too bad, since it is a nice place as a family.

The apple pie is to die for! I wish I could eat it everyday. The cheesecake was very good, the ice coffee was really good and the hazelnut hot chocolate was amazing! Also dog friendly :) Definitely recommended 😍

Absoluter Geheimtipp mit gemütlicher Atmosphäre! Super leckere Speisen und frischer Kuchen. Wir sind als Familie vor dem Regen hinein geflüchtet und wurden sehr gut aufgenommen. Sehr nettes Personal! Gut Besucht von Einheimischen.

Coffee Corazon is a teahouse, and a block away also a bakery. Excellent selection of coffees and teas. You can choose your own tea from a 'tea bar'. Also, various sandwiches, cakes, salads, and pastries. The friendly and eclectic interior is completed by an open library with over 1000 books, mostly in Dutch and English. The upper floor is a dedicated play pace for children with many toys, books, and games to choose from. Outdoor seating in the back, facing the canal. Friendly and according staff.

We went there for hoping that our toddlers can also have a good time there. However, the play area was very messy and dirty and most of the toys are broken, mostly for little babies rather than toddlers. It is pretty dark place and atmosphere was depressive. We got 3 broodjes in about an hour, service was super slow and meal was not tasty at the end. First and last time.

Always great to come here with the kids. On the first floor they can mess around and then you as a parent can just sit down and have a drink. The menu offers enough options for the kids. There are also many tasty things for adults, such as cakes and sandwiches. I will definitely come back here! Please note that you have to leave the stroller on the ground floor, there is no elevator. There are bouncers and chairs upstairs for the children so that they can sit.

Sandwiches are delicious but we still didn't have our ordered sandwiches after waiting for an hour. Then a wrong sandwich was served (mistake).

Had something to drink at corazon today. Iced coffee was watery. The affocato was served in a beer glass and the glass was also dirty. The table had not been cleaned either, it was sticky everywhere. It all felt dingy. The oatcake was tasty. Not a place we will return to anytime soon.

Went there a few weeks ago and thought it was a really nice place. Super nice and hospitable staff, delicious coffee, tasty food and an overall pleasant atmosphere! definitely recommended!

A true grand cafe with lots of newspapers, good coffee and special apple pie. What more could a tired man want? The cat is not easy on the eyes and is somewhat difficult to handle.

Lovely spot. Casual. Had lunch with chicken. A lot of arugula instead of mixed. And the plate was bizarrely large. Fortunately, our table partner had something else, because 2 of these plates do not fit on the table... (deliciously large portions!) The cheesecake is also highly recommended!)

This place reminds me of a cosy home, cramped in all together down stairs and even better is family safe upstairs with the floor being covered in beautiful wooden kids toys and of course children running everywhere. It was like a maze stepping over everyone. This place deserves all the love and support from anyone visiting the town and definitely need to try their infamous apple pie or any others seen when you walk in and personally their unique style of hot chocolate.

Nice place with good coffee. Service takes very long for the umpteenth time. In addition, I had to wait a very long time while the tent was half empty. Apple pie should not be called apple pie. More like applesauce. Ordered something and after a long wait got the message that it was 'already taken'. If you don't feel like it, close the tent. Staff seems fairly disinterested.

Had a coffee last weekend with a sandwich and apple pie. Terrible tent that is packed with tables and chairs. The apple pie was not tasty and it took a very long time for my sandwich to arrive. Not recommended.

Very nice place, super tasty food (also gluten and lactose free), cozy atmosphere, great service. The only pity is that they only have 1 toilet per gender.

We were here on Friday with 4 adults and 4 children and the service was simply bad. Chocolate milk and smoothie were not there after an hour. They also forgot children's sandwiches, It was very busy and there was a waitress behind the cash register that you should avoid I'll never come back here again. Also the price for everything was way too high

Superleuk tentje met heel gezellig personeel. Het is een beetje rommelig druk binnen maar dat draagt bij aan de goede sfeer. Eten was erg lekker, veel keuze! Proeverij en broodjes besteld maar de taarten zagen er ook heerlijk uit. Boven is een enorme speelkamer voor kleine kinderen

Esta cafetería se encuentra en una de las principales calles comerciales. Acababa de empezar a llover, así que llamamos por café. Nuestra visita fue un sábado por la mañana y estaba muy lleno. El personal era muy agradable, pero nos pareció el café un poco amargo.

Gran lugar para un café o almuerzo! Disfrute de un café o almuerzo en la planta baja si no tiene niños o quiere una mesa para sentarse o comer. Especialmente con los niños el primer piso es impresionante. Todo el piso está cubierto con juguetes para los niños y asientos acogedores para los padres. Use los papeles y lápices en la parte superior de las escaleras para pedir comida y/o bebidas. Hay un cable encima de la barra donde puedes bajar el pedido. Los pedidos se entregan arriba.

I went here for lunch. We were greeted kindly and were allowed to sit wherever we wanted. Once we were seated we were given enough time to look at the menu before being asked what we wanted to drink and/or eat. The sandwiches were freshly baked and were still nice and warm when served. The toppings were more than sufficient and the sandwiches are therefore highly recommended. After sitting for a while, I decided to go for a "piece" of cake. Here too they are not knee-jerk and the portion is more than sufficient.

Loved it here. They say on the door to not expect to be in a rush and the service is maybe not as quick as I've had in some places, but it was certainly very friendly. For a slightly longer wait, what you get in return is just pure quality... Great coffee and the best apple pie I've had as far back as I can remember. Honestly, take some of that apple pie, treat yourself, you won't regret it! Nice atmosphere, too. Would definitely go back again.

Super cozy and delicious coffee and cake!

Very nice coffee shop. I had a delicious iced coffee and a homemade apple pie. The carrot cake and homemade ice tea were also delicious. A plus: they have real whipped cream!! You have to get the attention of the waiter yourself, so they don't come to your table all the time asking if you want anything. I thought the tables were very close together. Therefore, plenty of space, but very busy. That's why I give one star less. Families can sit on the first floor. The entire floor is littered with toys. Very nice to see.

Este lugar sirve almuerzo cada vez que vas no como muchos otros lugares de los Países Bajos que dejan de servir almuerzo a los 15 : 00 - 16 : 00 . Sándwiches sabrosos! ¡El aguacate de pollo es una recomendación! No probamos el café y el desierto, sin embargo, sin duda lo volveríamos a visitar para probarlos. El piso superior es especialmente para familias. con bebés y niños pequeños, donde todo el piso es de juguetes y entretenimiento para los niños. ¡Vaya! Wow, a wonderful place for families and a wonderful games room upstairs with a large dining table! It’s magical for children! I fully recommend this Café! The Moroccan chicken sandwiches are delicious!

De bovenverdieping ligt vol met allemaal speelgoed, zoveel dat je er niet meer kan lopen. Door elkaar, niet compleet en niet fris. Echt een chaos. Eten en drinken is prima, erg prijzig. Bij het betalen zag ik de oven, ook erg smerig van binnen, waar op een vies ovenrooster weer broodjes gelegd werden. Concept is leuk, maar heeft echt even een grote opruim en schoonmaak nodig.

Had a lovely seat on the children's floor. So much space and toys for the kids. Delicious cakes. Operation did not go completely smoothly. Apparently you have to clear the dishes yourself, we were not told that. They had forgotten a sandwich and they didn't have the minced tapas from the menu. All in all, recommended.

Nice place in a beautiful location, suitable with and without children - there is a separate floor where the little ones can play while parents keep an eye on things. If you prefer a quieter experience, you can simply go downstairs on the ground floor. The coffee tasted good and so did the brownies. Come back soon to try the other baked goods.

Delicious coffee and sandwiches. The atmosphere is really special and is a place for children and families to enjoy. They also have a good range of teas. Corazon is certainly a top spot for coffee in the center of Amersfoort.

We were ignored for 20 minutes to take an order. When we asked to take the order, were refused to bring some food (were told that kitchen is closed, at the same time - other tables were served with food).

Delicious sandwiches and coffee. When it is busy there are very long waiting times, say 20 minutes where I think we waited almost an hour. But fresh bread and delicious.

It remains a nice place, but I think it has become expensive. Flatbread with brie for €14.50 is really pricey

I don't like to write bad reviews because I know they are often snapshots. But this is my second time at Corazon (the first time I walked away because our order was simply not taken), but also my last. A few points of criticism seem useful to the owner. I know that it is a café that is mainly aimed at children (even though you don't immediately see that from the outside and they also have a fairly simple menu for children, while for adults you can order quite luxurious sandwiches. Once you enter, you quickly see that it attracts many young children. Downstairs, the strollers are all crammed between the tables, while the children's area is upstairs. Upstairs you literally trip over the toys and toddlers. Fine if you choose to sit there. But you also have to go there to go to the toilet. So I literally had to step over kids and toys to get to the only ladies' room there is. I'm not old yet, but this isn't possible when you're a little older. And this seems like hell for the serving staff. I was with my two children and I decided to sit downstairs. I ordered lunch for all three of us. The poffertjes are then brought to child 1. The other child had pizza slices and I had a sandwich. But they didn't come. When my child had finished the poffertjes, he wanted to go upstairs to play again. After more than 20 minutes, child 2's pizza slices arrived. When he too was almost done, I asked if they had forgotten my sandwich. “No, that will take about another 7 minutes, because we are behind.” When I noticed whether they always deliver orders separately instead of serving per table, the answer was no. But if that were the case, wouldn't they have had to put the pizza in the oven until the sandwich was almost ready? And then heat up the poffertjes so that it is ready at the same time? Now all 3 of us were eating alone. My sandwich was luxurious and absolutely fine, nothing wrong with that. The poffertjes and pizza weren't exciting, but that's okay. When I went to pay, I looked into the “kitchen” where they prepare everything. I was frightened to death. The counter was full of rubbish (including dirty tea towels). There was a small spot left where a boy was making sandwiches. If the inspection service sees this, you really have a problem. In short: For the money I ultimately had to pay, I really don't think it's worth it and it's super unhygienic. Very unfortunate.

Amsterdam service and prices in Amersfoort. Sandwiches were extremely expensive (15€) for what you get. Bread was dry and unremarkable, as well as impractical as it almost immediately fell apart when you pick it up. For 15 EUR I'd hope for at least a small salad or fries in the side. It's Amersfoort, not Amsterdam. Service took a solid 25 minutes before we were served a basic sandwich and another 20 min before we could order dessert and coffee. Upstairs near toilets is frankly a safety hazard (as seen in photos people posted). Children's toys are splayed everywhere and you literally have to obstacle course your way across the room to the toilet. If you're not young and stable on your feet, don't bother. In short, would not go again.

Best chocolate cheesecake ever. Staff is really great. They have fun at work. Huge games room upstairs. My 3 wives were also very happy with their food and drinks. We were here twice on two days in Amersfort.

A perfect place for a family to spend part of a rainy day in Amersfort. The second floor is full of toys, perfect for families with young children. The apple pie with whipped cream is not to missed, the best we had during our holiday. The staff is very welcoming, and even includes a handsome orange cat who may grace you with a visit. Wish my hometown had a place as cozy and family-friendly as this!!

We just came in for a coffe and found a jam! Good service and delicious coffe, they make various special coffee, and all kind of deserts. They also serve a all day breakfast and lunce! Perfect

This coffee bar was specially selected based on reviews. What a disappointment. The cappuccino was way too hot, I got a new one, which was even hotter, and it immediately burned my tongue and palate. The figure was nicely frothed, but the milk and foam were not mixed properly. So you just had a coffee with milk. Leaving everything alone didn't bother him. The potential is there, now we just have to do something with it to get to a good level

Cozy cafe with friendly staff. Large selection of teas and fresh, delicious cakes. On the first floor there is a large playing field for children and on the half floor there is also seating with lots of toys. Changing table available. Lots of books to browse.

Perfect for families with children. The entire upper floor is an indoor playground with tables and chairs or sofas for parents. The food is of very good quality and sufficient. Only the cappuccino needs improvement. We really enjoyed being there and can only recommend it.

Tipped by a colleague. Nice and diverse choice of tasty treats with a nice cup of coffee or tea. Unfortunately, we don't come from the area to try more of all types of hot drinks and lunch dishes. The drinks and cake took a while, but I am lucky that I can still enjoy the Godavari tea at home 😊

Ze zeggen dat ze de lekkerste appeltaart hebben en dat is ook zo. Daarnaast leuke bediening en niet te vergeten lekkere koffie. Boven zitten alle kleine kids maar daar heb je beneden geen last van. Erg gezellig met goed gevulde boekenkasten om je heen. Ook lekkere lunch kaart dus we gaan nog een keer terug.

Coffee was okay but the tea was great in terms of choice, hroote wall with all different flavors of tea. Also the staff was very chill. If you like the unhurried feeling of sitting when you are asked for 2 minutes with your gals empty if you want anything else then this is the place for you. You have to get the attention of the waiter yourself.

An excellent coffee and tea lunchroom. With excellent pastries. The upstairs were the toilets and an excellent place for children to play and have fun.
