Lobi BBQ Rotterdam in Delfshaven

I have to say, from what I've read here, the owner isn't doing anything about it!! First of all, I've ordered here twice already. The first time, it was fries with shrimp in a small container for €25, a ridiculous price!! But it was doable!! The staff are women or young girls behind the counter. You guys should learn some manners first, like customer service and dress a bit nicer. And sit on your phone like you have absolutely nothing to do!! I ordered BBQ shrimp for €18, just open the container and you'll find 3 pieces of BBQ chicken that were quite hard, and a few shrimp, you can count. And a few fries, not even a salad. Seriously, no, sorry, it was inedible!! I've learned my lesson!! Please do something about your complaints! You won't see me there again!!

There are flies flying around on their food! I immediately asked for my money back when I saw it. BEWARE! The food isn't even properly covered!

Price-quality is very out of proportion. For exceptional food I would pay this, but this is really below average

Very strange employees, have no manners and no respect for their customers! Very antisocial, does not help the customer! Gives rude comments. No customer friendliness and she was shouting with every customer with a certain attitude and posture. This is the most unprofessional tent I have ever experienced! (NO RECOMMENDATION)

I want to file a complaint about my recent experience at Lobi BBQ. I ordered fries with chicken thigh, but unfortunately, after eating them, I developed severe stomach pain and vomited (several times). I already thought the food smelled different than usual, but I figured it would be okay. This time, they also finished the food quite quickly. This was a very unpleasant experience for me, and I felt unwell all day. I hope you do something about this so it doesn't happen again.

Lobi BBQ is a fantastic place for lovers of Surinamese and Javanese cuisine, and my experience there was absolutely delightful! Upon entering, you're greeted by a warm and cozy atmosphere, perfectly reflecting the rich culinary traditions the restaurant represents. The decor is colorful and inviting, with an ambiance that invites you to enjoy an authentic dining experience. The menu at Lobi BBQ offers a wonderful variety of dishes, from succulent barbecue skewers to fragrant rice dishes and savory stews. The Surinamese and Javanese influences are clearly visible in the dishes, and every bite tells a story of rich flavors and traditions. I decided to start with a selection of appetizers, including the signature roti and saoto soup. The roti was perfectly soft and served as a great base for the side dishes. The saoto soup was full of flavor, with a delicious broth and tender chicken pieces. It was the perfect warm-up for the main course. For my main course, I chose the Lobi BBQ specialty: grilled chicken and shrimp, marinated in a blend of herbs and spices. The flavors were truly phenomenal! The chicken was juicy and perfectly grilled, while the shrimp had a wonderful smoky flavor. Combined with the rice and a fresh salad, it made for a complete meal that I truly enjoyed. What also stood out was the excellent service. The staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. They were always willing to make recommendations and made sure we had everything we needed. All in all, Lobi BBQ is an absolute must-try for anyone who wants to enjoy authentic Surinamese and Javanese cuisine. The combination of delicious flavors, a cozy atmosphere, and excellent service makes this restaurant a true culinary destination. I look forward to returning soon and enjoying all the delicious food they have to offer again!

I don't know why people keep talking all day about 'cause you're not sweet! Okay, you might wait a little longer, but that's all I've ever seen in Suriname. I wanted to take pictures, but my sweet... greetings.

Ordered food for the first time bbq mix with masousa rice for 19€. 3 lean spareribs and 2 chicken pieces. Spareribs has little meat, rice too softly cooked and little taste. Little vegetables and miserable cucumbers. The presentation is bad, something should be done about that, because in this way the customers stay away and they do not come for a second time.

Ordered here last week, and it's really a dilemma. The food itself was tasty, had chicken + noodles & sparibs, only for almost 26.- I expect a portion for at least 2... I got 3 measly sparibs with not even a quarter of a centimeter of meat thickness, as if you were given the leftovers... The food was tasty, but for the reasons above this will be my last time, which is a shame.

Rude employee who cannot speak politely on the phone. She needs to learn manners or else find a suitable job where she doesn't come into contact with people. First and last time I order here. Would never spend my money on such a service again.

The food was delicious, absolutely nothing to complain about the flavor! The rice was just a bit hard, as if it wasn't fully cooked. I had nasi goreng this time, but I also had that with my masoes last time. All in all, I enjoyed my meal.

Bunch of scammers. Ordered via home delivery. Restaurant called and said they were out of stock of chicken and chicken thigh. Said they would then cancel the order for me. Not done. Just said delivered and kept my money. So no order received but paid for it anyway. Too bad, I ordered here often but never again!

Not good, fries were floating in the cheese sauce, spare ribs were bone dry and the chicken thigh was just chicken.

BBQ at its best! Fantastically delicious. We live in the East, but West is really not far for a BBQ.

The place was dirty, the music was excessively loud, including ghetto music with swearing in the presence of children. I had 2x fries with chicken thighs and 1x fries with shrimp. 1 of the chicken thigh fries had cheese on it. I come home and open the containers.. Limp dry fries that don't even have salt on them. One fries with chicken thighs are 3 pieces of chicken thigh placed on top of dry fries, without sauce and without being cut at all???? The other fries with shrimps were dry fries without sauce and 6 shrimps without anything???? It was too much effort to literally cut the chicken into pieces, because it was possible with the other portion? Ultimately having to cut the chicken yourself? 😂😂Truly most disgusting food I have ever eaten.

Ordered a delicious mix of chicken and spare rib barbecue for the first time. The soy sauce you get with it, slightly sweet and spicy, makes it even more delicious. Always saw it but had never been inside before. Recommended!!

Case is dirty! You slip on the grease on the floor. Nasi is from a different day. Spare ribs, chicken legs and chicken thigh are hard and dry. Nothing is fresh food is heated up behind. And to top it all off it was expensive for what you get. 50 eu for nasi chicken thigh, fries with spare ribs and a few chicken legs

Het eten is echt heerlijk. Ik rij van Oost helemaal naar het centrum ervoor, dat zegt denk ik genoeg en het personeel is vriendelijk. Dus als je lekker wilt eten zal ik hier zeker bestellen/langs gaan.

Eten is lekker, maar service is wel een grote minpunt. Van de 15 keer dat ik hier gegeten heb met mijn man is het 13 keer zo geweest dat het nooit op afgesproken tijd klaar is. Zonde want het hoeft niet zo te zijn dat men een 1,5 uur op eten moet wachten.

Nog keer gegaan, eten zoals altijd lekker,goed portie weer.

Nasi is erg lekker en de saus die je bij de kip krijgt al helemaal!

Belive me probably one of the best foods that I ate hear in Rotterdam, a lot of flavor i really like it, it's only possible take away you can not eat there unfortunately... Perfect food 🍾🍾🍾🍾❤️❤️

Dordrecht heeft startproblemen. Lange wachttijd bij afhalen en verkeerde bestelling meegekregen. Terug, weer eindeloos wachten.

They have a lot of choice, the box that really took my attention was the bbq chicken box with cheesy fries🍗🍟. and yes it was a great choice for sure! The taste of the chicken was sweet, the meat was tender ! The meat slipped from the bone. 🍟The fries...
