Wonderful experience in this cosy bar with a great variety of Dutch craft beers on tap. Great music playing on vinyl. The owner talked with us about the beer choices, and made helpful suggestions about where to find interesting craft beers in the town we were headed to next. Highly recommend this gem!

Great business! If you want something different than your standard lager you should come here. 9 different beers on tap, including always a few from his own brand Briljant. My recommendation is the "What's eating Gilbert".

We had a beer tasting with friends. Owner Rob made it truly special. He paid close attention to the accompanying appetizers, and as a beer sommelier, Rob truly made it a memorable experience. Highly recommended!

Would recommend in a heartbeat. Great find just walking around Haarlem. Me and the Missus popped in for what should have been one pint and then stayed for many more. Super chilled atmosphere with fantastic staff helping you choose beers to match the food. The bbq food was ridiculous, soooo good. Perfect brisket and the special bitterballen were off the scale good. We are the people!

A little in love with the bartender with a Yankee with no brim

Ik was hier voor de optreden van The Dayshift Dreamers. De band was top. De bediening was hier goed en aardige personeel. Het is er klein maar heel gezellig. Ik heb hier alleen ijsthee gedronken dus kan de rest niet beoordelen. Van andere hoorde ik dat het bier lekker was. Zeker een aanrader om hier eens hem te gaan want er spelen vaak bandjes.

Altijd gezellig, vriendelijke bediening en de door de eigenaar zelfgebrouwen bier is buitengewoon goed. Als je van lekker bier houdt, is dit de plek.

Great beer, good prices, good music, good food. Came here with my family on a Saturday afternoon, and had such a nice experience. The owner will give you nice tips on which self-brewed beer to get. Everything is very Dutch. Would really recommend, and my 60-year-old Italian parents would as well 😁

This is currently my favorite cafe in Haarlem!

We liked this place so much, we went back for a second night in a row. The atmosphere is perfect–just great, local vibes. Not touristy but welcoming to foreigners. The staff are friendly and helpful. The prices are reasonable, and the beer is good! Just fantastic!

Friendly bar keep, great selection of beer

Prima bier, maar wat een ongezellige, armzalige kroeg met achterstallig onderhoud. Het oogt vies, overal een bende, rondslingerende spullen, lege plantenpotjes. De toilet is echt smerig. Niet echt uitnodigend om hier nog een keer te komen.

Gisteren voor t eerst geweest. Eigenaar erg leuke vent, lekkere bieren en fijn sfeertje. Ik kom nog wel eens terug!

lovely place & decicious beer (i had fuity light neipa). quiet on Sundays - seems like a bunch of friends just meets here over a beer... or 3 😉 plays their own vinyls and have a great time. will be back and fully recommend

Excellent selection of local beers that would satisfy any mood, cool vibes and a very friendly owner who knows his brewing.

Super toffe avond gehad en een bierproeverij ter gelegenheid van een verjaardag. Super veel informatie en bierkeuze wordt aangepast op je smaak. Goede sfeer en niet de mainstream biertjes, maar wat anders dan we normaal drinken. Al met al super service, assortiment en ervaring! We komen zeker terug.

Inmiddels 3x geweest, leuke tent met een geweldig vriendelijke barman. Weet altijd wat te vertellen over zijn biertjes en helpt graag keuzes maken. Absolute aanrader.

Onwijs leuk café wat met iets anders is dan je gewend bent. Bijna alleen maar Nederlandse speciaal bier met wat Belgische klassiekers. Qua eten niet heel veel keuze maar het bier maakt alles goed Met Rob als eigenaar ook een heel gezellige kroeg voor een lekker biertje!

Atmospheric space to try and linger over Dutch beer. Helpful barman will guide you through the extensive drinks list. Background music while we were there on a Sunday afternoon (on vinyl 👏) but there’s a stage for live music so would love to visit again to see a band (and try more beer, obviously).

Fijn biercafe met kwalitatief goed personeel. Ze kunnen goed vertellen over hun bieren zodat je weet waar je aan toe bent. Nooit echt ramvol maar dat is niet erg - let op: ze zijn niet altijd open..
