Nice pit stop. Nice people, good food and drinks.

Always busy and friendly. Never eaten or drunk anything that wasn't tasty. Portions are rather too big than too small.

I had an excellent experience with both the food and service, which was impressively quick and friendly. I also loved the charming little shop; I couldn’t resist taking some delicious cookies with me for our bike ride. Highly recommended!

We asked for a place for two and were shown to a table for four. We sat down there and had been waiting for quite some time for them to come and take our order. However, when a staff member came, it was not to take our order, but to place two strangers at our table. We indicated that we did not want that and then left. We were told that this is how their concept works. We indicated that we had specifically asked for a place for two, but she kept the same answer. And those strangers were placed at our table. So we left reluctantly, because the menu and the many good reviews had really captivated us and we intended to enjoy it for a while. And to be honest, what I saw lying around and seeing passing by promised a lot of good. Unfortunately, we did not try the food.

Very friendly and attentive service, a very large selection, and huge portions. It gets busy around 11 a.m.

Sometimes you come completely Unexpected in places that make a big impression. This was one of those moments. What a great place: delicious treats, great service, great ambiance. Delicious home-baked breads, beautiful cheeses, etc etc. Makes you very happy. Highly recommended. Made your own coffee on the terrace. Passing through. Will definitely come back. Recommended

Coffee good . But when we ordered an Italian shelf and it arrived, it turned out that there was only 1 of the various things that had to be placed on it. Everything was good to eat, but we thought this was a minus. When I asked about it, the answer was I think the cook wants to go home. Too bad that answer would otherwise have been 5 stars and now 3. But other than that it was just fine

Delicious breakfast on Sunday morning. We had the standard breakfast which could easily be adapted for a vegetarian diet. Staff very nice and it is a very nice place. The terrace also seems lovely in the sun. Another tip: the website still contains a number of old opening hours. Like open on Sunday at 12:00 instead of 10:00.

Tijdens onze fietstocht door het heuvelland van Zuid Limburg hebben wij wat gegeten en gedronken in Loods 81 in Margraten. Het is een oude loods langs de Rijksweg, die verbouwd is tot restaurant en waar je tevens een heel scala aan lokale gerechten kunt kopen. Wij hebben heerlijk in het zonnetje gezeten en genoten van het eten en drinken en het vriendelijke personeel.

Top location for tasty snacks, perfect satay and friendly service! It was busy, logically, but we were able to go to the Orangerie, our own place!

It is very full of guests and this can make it difficult to get a table. However, this is very understandable, because everything is really in tip top condition! A wonderful place to have a delicious breakfast or lunch. We will definitely come back!

Very nice for breakfast and (a big) lunch. We have dined here a few times and the menu changes periodicaly. The food is always amazing! What is very nice is they also sell local/regional freshly made produce. The only reason this does not get 5 stars is because the consistency of service is erratic and they have no reservation for groups smaller than 10. It's always dificult to find a seat. It's 2025 and making a resaurant reservation should not have to be this complicated. They could implement a deposit system with the reservation for example

Atmospheric affair. Busy. Tasty food. Onion soup returned (strange taste and onions undercooked). Can happen and got an apology. Strangers may be seated at your table (few privacy). Took 45 minutes for lunch to arrive. Reception by owner was a bit unfriendly. We'll give it another chance.

Auf den ersten Blick ein Paradies für Feinschmecker: außergewöhnliche Käse, feine Pasteten, regionales Fleisch und allerhand Limburger Spezialitäten. Aber dann schlägt die Wahrheit gnadenlos zu – wie ein Schwarm Fliegen im Sommer, der sich gierig auf Ihr Essen stürzt. Ja, Fliegen gehören hier offenbar zum Konzept. Die Produkte? Nicht alles, was glänzt, ist frisch. Das Brot? Oft älter als ein Tag. Und ja, die Mitarbeiter lächeln freundlich – aber Freundlichkeit macht die sinkende Qualität leider nicht wett. Wenn Sie das Glück haben, einen Tisch zu ergattern, erwarten Sie bitte keine romantische Zweisamkeit. Die anderen Gäste sitzen so nah, dass man sich fast gegenseitig das Besteck reicht. Vielleicht ein neues Konzept für “soziales Essen”? Mitnehmen? Habe ich ausprobiert. Der Geschmack? Naja, sagen wir, er bleibt hinter den Erwartungen zurück. Nice restaurant, delicious food, good atmosphere

Als je een allergie of intolerantie hebt kan je deze plek beter vermijden. Ze gaven aan echt niet met iedereen rekening te kunnen houden, mede door het grote personeelsverloop in de keuken.

Via een tip ervoor gekozen om hier te lunchen. In een sfeervolle ambiance hebben wij genoten van een heerlijk broodje met een fantastische salade geserveerd. Ronduit geweldig! Alle producten zijn ook verkrijgbaar om daar te kopen en daarna er thuis nogmaals van te genieten! Ondanks de drukte zal het ons niet weerhouden om hier nog eens terug te komen. Wij zijn onze tipgever dankbaar!

Heerlijke gerechtjes, superbediening met grote lach en niet te overtreffen ambience, zo gezellig!! Gastvrij en informeel aanschuiven met altijd mogelijkheid tot contact, kortom fantastisch!!

Het eten bij loods 81 is goed. De vitrine met allerlei lekkers is zeer uitnodiging. Je kan niet reserveren, wat maakt dat je vaak naast elkaar moet zitten, aangeschoven aan een lange tafel. Dat praat niet echt fijn. De akoestiek is erg slecht, zo ook ook de afzuiging. Als je daarna nog een afspraak hebt, grote kans dat er een walm van etensluchten om je heen hangt. Jammer! Voor zo’n goedlopende zaak, mag hier echt wel in geïnvesteerd worden. Het is een zaak met lekker eten, maar dit is toch echt een groot min punt

Very tasty food, but the way the table is occupied is not really pleasant. Many people are placed together at tables who have no privacy to have a conversation, so everyone is placed so close together. In addition, putting people who are already eating in a different place so that you can accommodate 3 new customers surprises me. We waited almost 1.5 hours for an order. After what seemed to me to be various excuses, we finally received our ordered platter of cold dishes. This shouldn't have to take so long. But the food was very tasty and plentiful. But not immediately worth repeating.

Een van onze favoriete adresjes in Zuid Limburg, al hebben we nu een minder leuke ervaring. Na ruim 2 uur rijden vonden we een lekker plekje voor de lunch , terwijl we daar van zaten te genieten ,werd ons gevraagd om maar even op te schuiven om plaats te maken voor 6 druk pratende dames. Daar ging onze rustige lunch en zaten we samen aan de kop van een tafel. Nee we hoefden niet weg maar zijn toch maar zo snel mogelijk gegaan, de lol was er vanaf. Best een beetje teleurstellend!

We spent a wonderful afternoon on the terrace here. The food was excellent and the service very friendly and pleasant. Inside you don't know where to look and your mouth waters at all the beautifully presented food. We will definitely come back!

The satay 2 skewers, with bread was really delicious and more than enough, unfortunately I can't say the same about the pickled meat (a half filled bowl of sauce with 4 pieces of meat) with few fries, it was unfortunately not worth the money.

The Loods81 is my find of the week (August 30th + 31st, 2024) On the way to Maastricht we got hungry for breakfast and spontaneously stopped at Loods81 and it was so delicious that we had breakfast there again the next day. First of all, it's an unusual location - you can eat in small greenhouses, for example. In addition, the service is super friendly and much faster. Plus simply delicious food and drinks. Check it out for yourself in the pictures. When we go back to the region soon, we will pay Loods81 a visit again! Kind regards from Cologne to the team 🫶🏻

It's that I don't give 6 stars Ian for atmosphere and food, otherwise I would certainly have done so 😀👍 We passed by here by chance and walked in. No reservations for less than 10 people, so you can sit down at a table where there is room. So in addition to the food, you also have your neighbors to chat with. We had tea and an omelet, and wow... what taste sensations; The tea came with a kind of soft cup filled with peanut butter and it was heavenly. The omelette was just as good, richly filled on a few thick slices of bread with a crispy crust... yum. But the real surprise was at the checkout counter... there was a collection of goodies that would make any culinary heart skip a few beats. See the photos!! We will come back here more often 😁

Rustic ambience, food is excellent but a bit on the expensive side.

Seemed promising... BUT Had to wait an hour for 2 small dishes... Chicken pie was well filled but was stiff, taste was lala... The lunch tray included soup with the emphasis on "you"... Even smaller and you had an ouzo glass.. Price was decent.. Tried but no thank you.. Parking certainly not suitable for motorcyclists

Weak capuchino with an unwrapped cookie from the box and that for €3.75 is too expensive. Why not give the capucino a little more flavor? Cookie from the box is nowhere anymore.....

Nice place, a combination of caterer and restaurant. On Thursday everything is displayed sky high, on Saturday it is gone. Your mouth is watering and your budget is by definition too small. There is also a redtaurant with extension tables. This is something you don't want and the concept doesn't match the prices you pay.

Super place; great ambiance; nice varied menu, even if you want to take something home. Service not very alert. I find paying at the counter less pleasant.

Lovely place with lots of space outside and incredibly tasty choices in all kinds of food. From wraps to tapenade to pie and brownie. Also to take with you. Highly recommended!

Twee weken eerder een geweldige mediterrane tapas schotel gehad. Nu terug met vriendinnen om opnieuw te genieten. Helaas kwaliteit sterk achteruit gegaan. Gezouten gehakt, grilworst en droge fricandeau op plank. Ondanks de uitdrukkelijke wens om twee planken te ontvangen, kregen we toch alles (voor 4 personen ad 64 euro!) op één plank geserveerd... waarvan 1/3 ook nog eens met sneetjes brood was gevuld. Van alle uitgestalde lekkers lag niets op onze plank. Wij hebben het niet opgegeten. Bij weggaan merkte de serveerster ook nog tegen een andere medewerker op, dat we eerst klaagden dat het te weinig was en het nu niet opaten.... Het is verbazend dat in één week tijd zo'n verschil kan zijn. Misschien toeristen kwaliteit nu? Helaas voor ons geen loods meer.

Reserveren is niet mogelijk, kans dat er geen plek is, is erg groot. Ruimte is te druk en mensen zitten te dicht op elkaar. Als je niet wil aanschuiven bij andere mensen aan een vieze tafel, of op de tocht wil zitten in een drukke ruimte dan zou ik er niet heen gaan. We zijn ergens anders heen gegaan. Ik vind de naam eetpodium sterk overdreven. Ik schrijf graag een goede review maar dit is de eerste keer dat ik toch mijn slechte ervaring wil delen. Zoek je een mooie rustige plek dan behoor je niet tot de doelgroep. Het is en blijft een schuur.

The three of us ordered lunch. Our friend was very disappointed about this. It was a grilled zucchini salad, of which the limp zucchini was not or barely grilled and was floating in the oil. Because the zucchini was on the bottom, she had to remove it from the oil, which made the salad very greasy and soggy. She complained about this to the lady with short blond hair and a white blouse with puffed sleeves. Her response to the dissatisfaction was "O" Nothing further was done about this complaint. Disappointed and lacking illusions, we went home. Despite previous visits, we will never return here.

We bestelde met zijn drieën een lunch. Onze vriendin was hierover erg teleurgesteld. Het was een gegrilde courgette salade, waarvan de slappe courgette niet of nauwelijks gegrild was en dreef in de olie. Omdat de courgette onderop lag, moest zij deze uit de olie tevoorschijn halen. Waardoor de salade heel erg vet en sompig werd. Daarover heeft zij haar beklag gedaan bij de dame met kort blond haar en witte blouse met pofmouwen. Haar antwoord op de onvrede was " O " Er werd verder niets met deze klacht gedaan. Teleurgesteld en een illusie armer zijn we naar huis gegaan en komen hier, -ondanks eerder bezoek- nooit meer terug.

Always fun at Loods 81. Reservations are not possible, but if you are on time there is always a spot. Afterwards you can also take tasty things home with you, which is definitely recommended.

We went into the restaurant and were very impressed, so I wanted to capture it in a video. The waitress was very unfriendly and angry about it and immediately complained that I wasn't allowed to use this video anywhere. We then left the restaurant immediately because we didn't feel welcome here. It's amazing how quickly unfriendly staff can destroy such an atmosphere. Not recommended! 0 stars from my side.

Atmospheric place to eat, and the quality of the food and service is very good. Sometimes difficult with parking and crowds.

Super nice atmosphere, you feel just like at home! I opted for pickled meat and I fell on the floor with how delicious it was!! The salad that came with it was also the best salad I have ever eaten. Service was nice! I will definitely come back here!!!
