Had coffee and a slice of Limburg pie. Beautiful location, delicious coffee and pastries (apricot and lentils).

The atmosphere could be improved by dividing the large courtyard into smaller parts using plants

Beautiful old terrace. Excellent cappuccino. They have walking trails for those who enjoy them. Great menu! We'll definitely be back to try some of the dishes.

Very nice terrace! We happened to walk past here and decided to have a cup of coffee. The coffee was very tasty and you could see that attention was paid to this! I also saw that there were two gluten-free pastries on the menu. I tried one and came back the next day for the other🤭 Both tasted very good and in any case it is really great that the option is there! Furthermore, the staff was very friendly and fast. Definitely recommended!

Too bad about the unfriendly service, about the drinks. The lady who brought the food was friendly.

Relaxing place where you can taste good beers, especially local ones, which you can enjoy with a nice choice of accompaniments. Very good ice cream too. Appreciable bucolic environment. Friendly staff.

Made a quick stop here during our bike ride. Beautiful location with a warm feeling. Had a piece of pie here with a nicely dressed cup of coffee.

At 3 p.m. there was no longer any custard to go with coffee, I heard several people complain about this and thought it was strange that there was no more custard available in Limburg here.

Prosper, Juliette and their team provide good service and atmosphere. Nice seating areas, but also long farm tables. Varied menu, quick service and cozy atmosphere. A great place for walkers, cyclists and route riders.

I ended up here by chance in 2005 and already enjoyed a delicious pie with cappuccino. And now again, after some research, this courtyard of an old farm has been rediscovered. Only open on Sundays at the time, I seem to remember; now several days/week. Nothing has changed in terms of quality and service. Friendly and very smooth service. Highly recommended and definitely worth the detour!

Nice and attractive rest area along cycling and walking routes with tasty lunch dishes.

We have organized a car ride where we pass on some options where you can have a drink. This was one of them. The entrepreneurs did not think it was acceptable for us to come here and eat something without a reservation or consultation in advance. They themselves were very unfriendly and we were not allowed to eat a piece of cake. It was not the case that the place was full despite our presence. Since many cycling tourists pass by there, I assume that groups stop regularly. An unfortunate incident because we have already been there several times in advance and had advertised their delicious cakes. Fortunately, we had a few other options where they welcomed us with great pleasure. A big compliment to the 2 employees who were super friendly.

Limited menu if dining with a group. Shame! Price is quite on the high side. In response to Prosper's response: I understand that prices are constantly under pressure for various reasons, but I think 13.50 for one frozen chicken schnitzel spread over 2 normal brown slices of bread flanked with a tuft of lettuce is on the high side! Price-quality ratio is out of balance here!

Prosper, I gave 3 stars because the order did not go completely well. My husband ordered a pulled chicken sandwich but got the salmon sandwich. If it were very busy now I could imagine that something went wrong. There were 6 to 8 people there when we were there. So that wasn't necessary. For the rest a very nice case.

The quality of the food and drinks is good, the service does its best. But things don't go well, empty plates are not cleared away, you have to find someone to order another drink. there is no today we went for lunch with 10 people and after lunch at 3 p.m. we wanted to order an ice cream sundae, but we were told that that was not possible because the kitchen was closed and then ice creams were served everywhere. The explanation afterwards was that the kitchen was indeed temporarily closed, very strange in the middle of the day and very unfortunate

When you want to order food you hear "ordering a hamburger is not possible today". We were also hardly asked if we wanted something to drink, so we asked several times if someone could come. We wanted to order something tasty after lunch, including ice cream... Well, ice cream was no longer available at +/- 3 p.m., because the kitchen was closed. Okay, thanks for advance notice? 30 minutes later we suddenly see people eating ice cream. Serious????? Wow, no words for it.... but really scandalous and a decent solution: HO. Finally: not hospitable, grumpy man behind the bar. Tip for you: say in advance what is and is not possible on the card and ensure good communication between each other. Be happy with customers, they keep the roof over your head. Nice and cozy tent in terms of design, but not worthy of a good review based on today's experience. Shame.

The lunch meal was birthday celebration and at a decent price.

Cozy restaurant and beautiful surroundings. The food was tasty, but the portions seem to be becoming increasingly meager in the catering industry. Had a nice cup of coffee.

We recently enjoyed a delicious lunch at Hoeve, Serre en Terras “De Laethof”. The staff were very friendly and attentive, regularly checking to see if everything was as expected. The menu also offers plant-based options, which is great. With coffee we received cookies and a delicious vegetable whipped cream with syrup. Our dog was also welcome and she even received dog biscuits from the staff. A great place for a tasty meal and a warm welcome! The only improvement would be to eliminate the surcharge for plant-based milk.

Super nice place just before the border. The building is authentic with a cozy courtyard. We sat inside the conservatory given the bad weather, but this was also a nice place to sit. The menu has an entire vegan page, with all kinds of delicacies such as the delicious beetroot burger and croquettes. The coffee is served with vegan whipped cream as standard. This was a very nice surprise for us, since we initially assumed “it wouldn't be vegetable whipped cream after all”. Dogs are also allowed, our dog was welcomed with open arms and received a delicious cookie from the sweet waiter. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and finally everything was very clean and hygienic, including the toilets. Too bad this place isn't closer to our house, otherwise we would definitely come here more often. You can also enjoy walking here (we did not do this given all the rain) and there is also plenty of parking space. All in all: highly recommended!

Beautiful place, old building, good food, nice atmosphere, helpful staff

Accustomed to the little paradise that is Eysden, I found this setting absolutely magnificent and very well maintained. It was a first time. We chose to sit down for lunch.. The board, presented at 40 euros for two, is partly translated by the young employee because my level of Dutch is insufficient. 'Several fish': only two mini-slices of smoked salmon. Vegetable chips A little fuet, serrano. Large cubes of gouda. Some fricandelle style snacks. Lots of pieces of white and gray bread. The white wine was good. But the bill is steep in relation to what we have consumed and left behind. Have a drink in such a setting: gladly. Eating there, I don't think I'll come back. Respectful greetings.

Zondagmiddag gaan zitten op het terras van de Laathof, de vlaai wat werd geserveerd was oud. Dit gemeld bij het personeel, en kregen als antwoord "sorry " verder werd er niets ondernomen om de klacht te herstellen. Bijna 5,- euro voor oude vlaai is te gek voor woorden. Thuis gekomen begonnen de darmklachten, dus was de vlaai niet alleen oud maar waarschijnlijk ook over de houdbaarheidsdatum. Geen aanrader. Ook de menukaart is merkwaardig, broodje gezond wordt niet geserveerd met een broodje maar met sneetjes brood, kipsaté wordt geserveerd met koude saté saus en sneetjes brood. ( moet de klant de saus zelf opwarmen?? ) Nergens op de menukaart worden frietjes geserveerd, leuk als je met kleine kinderen gaat eten. Het kan zijn dat jullie je willen onderscheiden t.o.v. andere horeca zaken, en dan moet ik zeggen is dit aardig gelukt, maar niet in de positieve zin van het woord. 1 ster voor de cappuccino en 1 ster voor de locatie meer kan ik er niet van maken. Nu kan de eigenaar wel gaan roepen dat ze veel positieve reviews hebben, maar de meeste positieve reviews zijn nog afkomstig toen de Laathof werd uitgebaat door een vorige eigenaar. Reactie na antwoord van eigenaar: Deze reactie is mostert na de maaltijd, de klacht had meteen opgelost moeten worden toen ik deze bij het personeel melde. Pas als ik een slechte review plaatst, wordt de klacht serieus genomen. De rijste vlaai was echt niet dagvers, als de leverancier dit wel beweert zou ik maar van leverancier veranderen. De cappuccino en locatie heb ik een positieve ster gegeven, en als jullie de klacht zondagmiddag meteen hadden opgelost had ik in totaal 5 sterren gegeven. Gelukkig is "De Laathof " niet de enige horecagelegenheid in de gemeente Eijsden.

Smakelijke gerechten, heerlijke vlaai , vriendelijke bediening

Een voldoende, meer kan ik er niet van maken. Vriendelijk personeel..maar er onhandig (amateuristisch).. Ik weet , het is tegenwoordig het probleem!

Super borrelplank en heel vriendelijk en gastvrij personeel.

Heerlijk geluncht op doorreis naar Luxemburg! Vriendelijk personeel en netjes, gezellig ingericht!

Vriendelijkheid personeel en natuurlijk ook de mooi locatie zowel binnen als buiten is toch de rede dat wij hier steeds terugkomen. Leuk dat binnen in de hal brocante voor een zacht prijsje wordt aangeboden. Voldoende parking zowel voor auto’s en e-bikes.

Een oude boerderij die omgetoverd naar een gezellige terras waar je heerlijk eten en drankjes kunt bestellen door vriendelijke personeel.

Op mooie dagen erg druk. Begrijpelijk, want het is een indrukwekkende plek met lekker eten en een zeer mooie zonnige binnenplaats.

Lunchbuffet tijdens feest. Een wat vreemde opstelling van de gerechten opvolging. Bij elkaar passende gerechten stonden niet bij elkaar. Dit veroorzaakte heen en weer geloop aan de tafel, hetgeen verstorend werkte.

Altijd leuk om er naar toe te gaan vriendelijk personeel parkeerplaats genoeg lekkere koffie

Deze hoeve is verademing voor de wandelaar. Met veel biersoorten, theesoorten en een ruim toilet. De hond mag mee. Alles is mega ruim. En een haard om aan te liggen.

De Laathof, mooi terras en mooi van binnen, alles in boerenstijl. Gezellig biertje of lekkere koffie en ook lekker eten. Bediening vriendelijk en prijzen goed. Altijd fijn en gezellig vertoeven hier

Super chouette endroit, personnel serviable et ambiance agréable. La gaufre était top ! Je recommande !

Zeer leuke plaats om halt te houden tijdens een wandeling in de streek. Je kan hier o.m. Genieten van een stukje heerlijke Limburgse vlaai.

Heerlijke wafel gegeten, goede kop koffie en zeer vriendelijke gastheer/ eigenaar!
