We waited for like a hour for 2 pizzas, Really bad pizza for my opinion, the Neapolitan pizza i know are way better then this, the mushrooms are out of the jar no fresh ones, wierd ratios of the stuff on the pizza, the dough is like chewing gum, im really disappointed im sorry :(

Amazing pizza! Feels like Italy! They even have a bambino one for the kids that is shaped like a bunny - my 4 year old ate it like a grown up! I had the 4 Stagioni, my favorite and sooo tasty! And my husband had the tonno (tuna) also amazing (he said). They are really kind, whole staff is Italian and speaks a mix of Italian/english/dutch. 🥰

Super nice place! Best pizza in the area by far! It's a nice place to eat in, but I hear taking it to go isn't recommended. It's easy to reheat at home if you have leftovers, but it's fantastic. Just heat it up in the oven at 200°C for 2-3 minutes. The people are truly my favorite. The nicest Italians I've ever met in the Netherlands, so friendly and hospitable! The pizza is a 9 out of 10 for me! The 4-cheese truffle Campagnola or Duchessa are my favorites! Enjoy!

It took 1 hour and 50 minutes to cook and serve the food, even though the restaurant wasn’t busy. On top of that, the quality was really poor. I honestly don’t understand why so many people recommended this place on Reddit — it feels like misleading hype.

Terrible service. After more than 1 hour waiting for a pizza I decided to show some dignity and leave. The business is focused on their usual local customers, who get there much later than you but still manage to monopolize the oven and take away 12 boxes of pizzas while the majority of tables are there waiting. Well, not the best business practice to attract new customers IMO. Run away!

Delicious antipasti as a starter and then an excellent piza tonno eaten. Table companions had a star pizza, where the "star points" always contain a different surprise. SUPER!! With that a delicious red wine. Bellisimo!!!!

Nice Italian restaurant Good pizza (No buffalo mozzarella 👎🏼)

What a welcoming restaurant! From the moment we entered, we felt very welcome. The atmosphere is warm and relaxed. We started with an antipasto, which was really fresh and lovingly prepared. Then of course pizzas, and they were all delicious: crispy base, tasty and perfectly baked. For dessert we chose the “special of the day”: a homemade cake with pear and vanilla. What a wonderful surprise! Light, tasty and a perfect end to the meal. In short: an absolute must. We will definitely come back here!

It's been a long time since we had such a bad pizza, supermarket has better ones 🙈 Staff does their best.

Unfortunately, we had to wait for more than 2 hours to get our 3 pizzas… 😮 Beforehand, I had called to the restaurant to ask if they had a table for three. They confirmed and said they would have room in 30mins, so we came in at 19:15. We ordered one drink each, because we were hungry and expected the food to come sooner. The waiter was polite to come and check if we wanted another drink. However, the restaurant never informed us about having to wait for our pizzas this long.. Even, after 1.5 hours of waiting, when we asked about how much time they would need, the waitress did not come back to inform us. When we looked around us, we saw other tables getting their pizzas sooner than we had, even though they came in later than us. Eventually we walked away to get dinner somewhere else. When I told them we would leave, they did offer us to give our drinks for free, which I sincerely appreaciate.

An amazing place with a real Italian atmosphere, the atmosphere here is amazing, you simply have to experience it. Delicious pizza, no different from the one I ate during my visit to Italy. The service was very nice and the chef is the life of the party. I recommend this place to everyone who wants to feel like they were in sunny Italy, at least for a moment. Finally, I would like to add that I will definitely come back here and I wholeheartedly greet Francesco and his entire family and staff 😊❤️🇮🇹🇵🇱

We got a limoncello because we had to wait so long for our takeaway pizza, so 4 stars for the service. Nothing else positive to report. The dough of the pizzas was just undercooked, it looked like chewing gum. Not tasty. Unfortunately. It was €33 for two pizzas. We then went to another tent.

A nice Italian from the outside, but unfortunately this was not the case inside. Only a few tables were occupied and yet it took them 1 hour to prepare 1 pizza carpaccio. The pizza was a standard pizza after which the carpaccio was placed on top. All in all, not very special. Staff was friendly but didn't like you. Once paid, they don't know how quickly to clean the tables and they literally run through the restaurant, the sooner you go home the better? Very unfortunate!

Wish I took a picture of the bruschetta, that was the most delicious bruschetta ever. Pizza was a 4 out if 5, very delicious but gets a little soggy but still very good and delicious. 😍 Service was also great! Keep going 🙌🏽.

Wow, what a cozy restaurant! The staff is super friendly. Everyone just says ciao. The pizzas you choose are delicious and you really feel comfortable. Unfortunately no tiramisu today, but I will definitely come back!

The Pizzas were not bad, but waiting 1 hour and 50 minutes I think is a little too much. On top of that, when they serve us, they don't even have the tact to apologize for the delay. As a suggestion, if they are going to take so long to serve, they could be kind enough to let us know and take out some things to snack on, such as chips, peanuts, etc. They say they had many to send. If you want to get desperate, you already know where to go.

This is the best and maybe only good place for pizza in Den Haag.

We waited 80 minutes for our pizza. When we asked the staff about it, they just said "we don't know how long it takes" (if the chefs don't know how many orders there are, who does though?) The pizza was great, but there was no acknowledgment of our having to wait so ridiculously long. No one apologised or tried to make up for the inconvenience. Just a "sorry" or a free drink or any sort of acknowledgement would have made us come back. But their behaviour unfortunately achieved the opposite: I won't go back there.

We waited 30-40 minutes for our pizza, which was just okay. Our table was next to speakers and the music was loud. We requested for the music to be turned it down; but that didn’t last long. In general, we didn’t feel comfortable so we won’t be coming back here again.

This is the best pizza place! Besides being my opinion, it is also just a fact. I come from the same region as the pizza chef and this is the real thing! Service, music, language, atmosphere, this is Napoli!! Be sure to try the pizza of the day, a guaranteed success! The walls are full of Toto', Sophia Loren and of course Neapolitan scarves. Listen to the Neapolitan music and the wonderful dialect that the lady of the house speaks. And the prices? Fantastic! For 20 euros you have a beautiful pizza, a cold beer and a coffee.

11 years I'm living in The Hague, this is absolutely the best place EVER! I've been in Italy last month and I didn't found a pizza so good as this! Pizza 🍕 is number 1, the owners are so simple and they let us feel 'home'. The service is TOP and they treat us as family 😍 it's a MUST TRY

A real Italian business with the nicest people you can meet. I've been coming here for 5 years and the food is excellent. I tell everyone who will listen and always take my family and friends here: always a great success and everyone loves the pizzas! The Neapolitan pizza is NOT a Romanesque pizza! The base is a bit like bread and soft, it SHOULD be that way! If you don't like that, then maybe these pizzas aren't for you. And oh yes, their oven can only bake 3 pizzas at a time. On a busy (Saturday) evening you may therefore have to wait a little longer. Francesco and Simona always welcome me with open arms and nothing is too much to ask. Even when someone indicated that she did not like her pizza tonight, she was offered an alternative. She did not want to take advantage of this and ate almost half of her pizza. Then she got angry and didn't want to pay for the pizza. Pity! Do you want to eat authentic Neapolitan pizza at a fair price? Then you absolutely must be here. And don't forget the tiramisu! 🤩

What a horror. Waiting 2.5 hours for a pizza: no apologies, 0 communication and then being surprised that no tip is given. So, save yourself the trouble.

Had dinner here as a couple on a weekday evening. The service is extremely friendly and the decor is cozy. We had the starter, antipasti, quite quickly and it tasted good. Then the wait for the pizzas started We finally received this 1.5 hours after arrival. Maybe there was a problem with the pizza oven because it was a bit surreal to see so many people without food on the table in a restaurant. The pizza was good, but without oregano which was a minus for me.

We waited for around 75 minutes for 2 pizzas. As soon as we sat down, we ordered our drinks and after that the waiters didn't seem to notice us or didn't seem to care that our drinks were over while we were waiting for 75 minutes for our food. The pizzas were average, it definitely wasn't worth the wait. Do not go here in groups of 4+ because the wait is definitely close to 2 hours! Overall in my opinion the experience wasn't worth it at all!

I love an Italian pizza and it took me 5 years to find a real, delicious one in The Hague - and it’s L’Oro Di Napoli! No doubt the best quality in the city! And if you’re after the quality, then it’s worth a wait. It might take a while to get your order, that’s true, - but only because Francesco is making each pizza individually by himself. I’ve tasted enough mediocre pizzas in The Hague, so I’d rather wait 2h for a Margherita that, I know for a fact, will be perfect than have another dry crust with a soggy bottom. You can’t have nothing better here in Den Haag and in the entire area! The pizza is super delicious, you can eat something similar only in Napoli (and there are some pizzeria a lot worst!). The ingredients like tomatoes, mozzarella and ricotta are the original italians and the price is so low compared to the quality you get. I love their margherita and the calzone is sooooo good!

Pizza’s waren prima. Service was vriendelijk maar rommelig. Kregen in eerste instantie verkeerde pizza’s, vervolgens werd 1 van de bestelde koffies vergeten en een drankje kwam helemaal niet. Ook niet echt heel gezellig ingericht. Wel vrolijke werknemers. Al met al prima voor een “snelle hap” maar niet meer dan dat.

Wat een fijn restaurantje is dit. Je weet dat je goed zit als de bediening Italiaans met elkaar praat waar je niks van verstaat: Napolitaans. Goede pizza’s (en wellicht de enige plek in Nederland waar je friarelli kan krijgen) en goede cafè. En vooral dat laatste is in Nederland een unicum. Ik kom gauw terug om de rest van de kaart te proberen.

Sympathieke, buurtpizzeria die wordt gerund door een trotse familie uit Napoli... In vergelijking met het absurde, huidige prijspeil in veel horecazaken biedt L'oro di Napoli goede, traditionele gerechten voor een schappelijke prijs. Ook de rode wijn die wij hadden was prima. Jammer dat een deel van ons plezier teniet werd gedaan door de lange wachttijden... terwijl niet eens alle tafeltjes bezet waren. Volgens de sympathieke eigenaren had dit vooral te maken door hun beperkte ovencapaciteit en de vele afhaalklanten die avond... Deels begrijpelijk maar in ons geval gold dit bijna voor alle gangen en zelfs voor het drankje bij aankomst. Dat moet echt anders kunnen... want kost op deze manier zonder twijfel klanten. Zonde en niet nodig...
