Delicious Chinese/Indonesian takeout. You can order by phone, but you can also go in, but then you might have to wait a bit longer. The restaurant used to be open but has been closed for a while now. We paid €39 for three dishes, which the four of us enjoyed. We each had two helpings, and there was still food left over for my father the next day. I personally really like the chicken curry, as well as the Foe Yong Hai. There's plenty of parking, but you have to climb a small flight of stairs.

I usually go to this Chinese restaurant, but after Yesterday I got food poisoning. I got a spring roll and a bami complete, but after eating the bami complete, I vomited completely after a few hours and I still have a bad stomach ache. I also reported this to the RIVM (National Institute for Public Health and the Environment).

I think this Chinese restaurant has really good food. Better than many other Chinese restaurants in the Spijkenisse area. Highly recommended for those who no longer know where to get good Chinese takeout. Quite a few chefs have changed, so the food is often not good anymore. The quality has deteriorated. Their restaurant area was stolen during renovations.

A long-standing tradition: eating at Lotus once a year with my sisters and brothers-in-law. Always a treat: friendly service (with Jimmy being the absolute number one!), delicious food, and a cozy atmosphere. Highly recommended!

What not to eat: Bami pangang bacon. Large chunks of bacon, nasi looked like rice. Never again.

The food is OK, but there are competitors in Spijkenisse where it will be slightly more expensive, but faster and still taste better. I waited a little over 30 minutes on location. The prices and quantity of the food make it attractive to come back again.

The food tasted good, which is often not the case with most Chinese restaurants. It was hot, flavorful and fresh.

At half past eight I wanted to get noodles, they didn't feel like making more noodles. They should definitely put their kids to bed and go gamble

Very bad takeaway, these people just don't want to be there anymore and it shows. Waiting 50 minutes for a standard dish and then seeing at home that the wrong thing has been delivered. We will definitely never come here again and I recommend it to others.

Chinese restaurant Lotus has permanently closed the section where you can stay and eat. Which has made it a takeaway restaurant. The quality of the food and prices have remained the same and that is good.

Looks like a daycare center with all those kids roaming around. These children also curse at many diseases and scream at the top of their lungs. The food was also very mediocre - all the sauce seemed to have been diluted with water to save money? Very strange, even the tomato soup was meaningless. It also seems to have become more of a takeaway counter than a real Chinese restaurant. Can't recommend Lotus anymore, not at all like it used to be.

Tasty food and not too expensive

Lotus was always a very good restaurant for me. To my great regret, the level has drastically dropped to poor quality. My special spring roll only contained bean sprouts without egg or ham. To make matters worse, I also found two black hairs in the food that were not my own. However, the staff is very friendly but does not speak the Dutch language.

After having taken away here a few times, we decided to eat in the restaurant area. The interior and ambiance certainly leave a lot to be desired, but that's not what you come here for. This is the right place for tasty Peking duck. Despite being somewhat inexperienced, the service was very friendly and genuinely helpful. All in all a positive experience, but especially because of the food. If you live nearby, I would just pick it up.

First and last time! Prices on the internet are not correct (more expensive. In the restaurant). There are screaming children running around, which can happen once in a while but not all the time, without saying anything. Dirty/wet clothes on the radio tower IN THE RESTAURANT!!! The sambal is literally black, tasted like oelek with soy sauce (which I secretly hope was) otherwise I don't know what I just tasted. The food I ordered looked like a quickly put together variation of what Indian cuisine should be... I'll never come here again.

Very good and delicious Chinese food, really the best (Chinese takeaway) in Spijkenisse, friendly people, just a pity that they "don't do much" with the restaurant, they could do a lot more with it, it is messy (including children's toys) and It is annoying that some people who come to pick up, despite mentioning this, take the restaurant entrance instead of the takeaway entrance, which is very disruptive when you are eating in the restaurant. Worse still: they walk just as easily again, now with their food/bag through the restaurant and out of the store, while at the takeaway they walk past the clearly visible closer exit (pretty bad, I think you as a consumer then have a plate in front of your head instead of on the table). So a very good pick-up address for us.

It's a dirty place, wasps and flies are on the windowsills, you're stuck to the floor, bad food and when you ask if they want to pack up the rest they throw everything in one box, service is a mockery.

For me it was the best Chinese takeaway in Spijkenisse, but the quality has dropped considerably. Giving the wrong things twice that were not ordered. And then giving no leniency at all, you should have called then. Oh yes, a large piece of undercooked chicken in the foe jong hai is not good either. Staff is below par.

We have now eaten at this restaurant several times and the dishes are really delicious and very affordable! Tip for the restaurateur: Keep the entire restaurant neat and tidy. We didn't think it was a big problem ourselves, but a table where children's toys are stacked does not make a good impression on many people. Perhaps shielding the private area will greatly improve the atmosphere in the restaurant. Once again... compliments for the food itself!
