Lucky City in Maaswijk

As a Muslim, you order vegetarian, are told it's vegetarian, and end up with pork. Mistakes happen, but I find this one incredibly bad... I did get a new one, but I won't order from here again.

Ordered takeout for the first time. The chicken was still raw, the portions were meager, and the Char Sui was the same as Babi Pangang. It was our first and last time. We got sick from it.

You'd have to really want to eat here if you were going to wait so unbelievably long for your food. I'm definitely never doing that again. About 100 takeaways take precedence over diners. And the food wasn't that great either. You have to search the restaurant yourself for junk to bring the flavor up to par, because you won't get that easily. Asking is pointless, because you won't get a response anyway. If, after sitting at the table for an ungodly amount of time, you decide to call it a day and skip your ice cream dessert (including it), they don't even realize you still owed money, but they do manage to quickly usher you to the cash register. They barely managed to say goodbye.

Dinner at this restaurant was a delight from the very first moment. The welcome was warm and professional, and we were immediately given a lovely table overlooking the open kitchen. The interior was elegant and modern, with subtle lighting that created a cozy atmosphere. The menu offered an excellent balance between classic and innovative. I chose a steak that was cooked perfectly, and my partner had a vegetarian dish that tasted equally refined. The service was very attentive and provided excellent wine recommendations. The timing between courses was perfect, making for a calm and relaxed evening. The desserts were also top-notch: creatively presented and delicious. The music played in the background, enhancing the ambiance without being overpowering. This restaurant clearly has an eye for quality in every detail.

I ordered and the order was wrong. Nevertheless, after a phone call, it was resolved and delivered! Lucky City remains perfect! Thanks!

I am not a picky eater. But sorry this was really bad. I even threw it away. Chicken was more fat than chicken meat. And also tasteless. The nasi tasted stale. No I actually never give a reaction but this was too bad.

Ordered for the first time, the last time. Wasn't edible. Dirty meat with only fat. The flavors were unrecognizable. The photo appealed to us, but the food was unpalatable. I wanted to say it nicely, but I couldn't find a nice word for it. My husband and I both felt nauseous after a few bites. It's just junk, and that for €66.00, also for his birthday. The food there is freshly prepared and has various flavors. Not the usual over-spiced, sweet, sour or salty fatty flavors. Honest and fresh. Few customers in the store itself, it is mainly overrun by the collectors. Service is friendly but not very fast. You don't have to, but if you are in a hurry... We are happy to come there anyway.

We ate there last week. We started with tomato soup. We both said the soup wasn't good. Then they literally said, "It's because of the store-bought soup." I said, "What do you mean?" Then they said, "Lidl soup and sometimes Jumbo soup." What a disappointment.

The business has really deteriorated since the previous owner. Often forget things. You just have to wait more than 1.5 hours for your food and the food has also become worse, which is a shame, but never again for us!

Good Chinese takeaway. However, there has been a decline in quality and meals after the takeover. I estimate more than 20% less food and prices up by 12%. Food is nevertheless good, but I have to order more now to fill everyone's mouths.

I just ordered food for 85 euros and unfortunately there isn't even a bag of prawn crackers included, which is a pity. What strikes me is that the containers of noodles and nasi are getting smaller and smaller.

I lived in Maaswijk all my life and always ate the tomato soup. I hadn't picked it up from Lucky City in a year, so I just called for a satay ajam and tomato soup for 12.50 together. These people have gone completely crazy. The bowl of soup has also become smaller and satay and soup. After the takeover it became less and less and the price increased a lot. I will never come back
