A lovely coffee spot with delicious coffee and chai lattes, and very friendly and welcoming staff. The coconut chai is a real favorite! Definitely recommended in Deventer! :)

Delicious lunch! A real treat on a plate. The price seems a bit high, but the value for money is excellent!

A little gem of a café in the middle of Deventer's small streets. We came for a late afternoon coffee with cheesecake after recommendations from Google Maps and it certainly did not disappoint! We ate at a lovely table outside, where we were served our cappuccino, apple juice, croissant and cheesecake. It tasted heavenly. There was a small children's area inside, where the children could play café. We could easily come back here again.

Every now and then I come here with a friend and it is always super fun. The owner offers great service and always greets you with a smile. You can sit both outside and inside and they have delicious coffee. The pastries are also highly recommended! When I have time I like to sit here.

Had coffee and lunch here during a weekend in Deventer. Very nice place, delicious coffee and good dishes! Very nice staff, jokes and jokes and just very friendly. Seen the owner at the end, lovely woman. The kitchen looks quite cramped, all the better that they can keep the place running smoothly with just a few people. :)

A lovely place with even more lovely owner. The food was delicious, the menu has a great variety of interesting options. It doesn't have too many tables, so in the weekends you have to be lucky. But if you are, you will have the best lunch and coffee in Deventer.

It's cold outside, the stove is burning here; we would like something warm. We order a flat white and a hot chocolate with whipped cream. The hot chocolate is delicious, served with separate whipped cream and a piece of gingerbread. The flat white is way too hot, which takes away the flavor. The milk foam has collapsed; what a disappointment! Otherwise a nice place with friendly service, but in our opinion not worth a 4.9. We are looking for a better lunch and coffee spot.

Nice and sweet place in one of the most beautiful alleys in Deventer. The avocado lover salad is one of the tastiest salads I have ever eaten. What a wonderful fresh surprise with fresh warm bread. Top service too! In short, grateful for the nice lunch afternoon.

Waiters are very attentive and polite. The sandwiches were delicious; however, homemade cheesecake was a very small slice and not very flavourful. Overall a very nice place!

Delicious brunch (fresh gravy with generous goat cheese sandwich, toasti and cap). On Thursday afternoon it was nice and quiet and the service was fast and friendly. Definitely recommended.

Eating and drinking at LOU is a party. Cozy atmosphere and great food. The super-friendly owners have a passion for fresh, healthy food and drinks and make it a special outing every time. You can also eat here if you are on a diet, e.g. gluten-free; you still have a lot of choice and they can easily accommodate it. The burger special is especially recommended; great burger!

Heard about this place on Instagram so thought to give it a shot. The burger had the most delicious salsa on it! The brie broodje with mushrooms was also delicious, with some honey drizzled on top of it. If you’re in Deventer for lunch, make sure to check out this cosy place.

If you ask for a receipt after paying, you have to read what she has put on it, I had to laugh so much. Lou has a sandwich with steak tips and that sandwich is my obsession, it's so delicious. Warm and cozy place that feels like you are in the beating heart of Deventer. And she bakes her own cakes!

What a fantastic lunchroom, a new favorite for me. The owner and staff are very friendly, the service is fast, the interior is spacious but warmly decorated, the food is delicious and there are books and games in the cupboard. It is also no problem to sit alone at a table, you will be treated just as nicely as, for example, a group.

A food hotspot you don't want to miss! Lou's menu is very varied. You can go here for breakfast, lunch and snacks. We enjoyed a chocolate yogurt bowl and 2 colorful lattes here. Highly recommended!

Wat een attente service! En de koffie is heerlijk: wij bestelden een dirty chai latte en espresso macchiato. Gebakjes zagen er ook top uit, daar komen we de volgende keer voor terug :)

Lekker eten en een gezellig tentje. Een minpuntje was dat de ijskoffie lauw geserveerd werd. Graag kom ik nog een keer terug voor de cheesecake die er helaas niet meer was.

Ze hebben een klein gezellig terrasje in een winkelstraatje. Hier hebben we heerlijk in het zonnetje een kop thee gedronken. Mooi mensen kijken die voorbij komen. Bediening is aardig.

Lou was echt een gezellig cafeetje in Deventer. Ik heb daar voor het eerst ‘pink paradise’ gedronken, een hot drank wat speciaal met rozensiroop gemengd met chai latte is gemaakt. Ze hebben ook echt heerlijke cheesecake en pastel de nata (op hun manier gemaakt). De eigenares was ook erg gastvrij en likable.

Lekker geluncht. Bediening is super vriendelijk. Helaas was onze bestelling niet goed doorgekomen waardoor we iets langer moesten wachten, maar dit werd super opgelost! Erg positief. Eten was goed. Aanrader voor Deventer. Sfeer is ook heel leuk. Mooi ingericht. Kom zeker terug.

Wat een leuke zaak zeg, waren alleen voor een snelle bak koffie. Wel reserveren hoor....het is heel populair. En terecht.

Super gezellige zaak. Vriendelijke eigenaresse. Heerlijk vers eigen gemaakte gebak en lekkere koffie. Ook buiten terras aanwezig. Voor ons voor herhaling vatbaar.
