Not anymore, but it used to be the best. Last Sunday we were there, and not only had the quality of the food deteriorated, but the waiter was also very angry and wanted to argue with us for no reason.

Everything was perfect. It was an unforgettable evening. I would like to sincerely thank all the Sultan staff.

It's not delicious. I ordered shish tawook without onions and a lamb kebab that was all fat. The lighting in the place is very dim. You can't see the food while you're eating the rice. It's dry and cold.

The food was okay, but the side dishes were a bit meager and overall a bit overpriced. The service was excellent, though! The shisha smell was a bit too strong indoors, making it difficult to eat with a baby. All in all, it's still a good restaurant.

I've been coming here for years during my work week in Rotterdam, and it's always a fantastic restaurant with very friendly service. I've tried a lot of the menu, and everything is absolutely delicious! (A large platter of mezes is definitely recommended!)

A wonderful experience at Sultan Restaurant! The strawberry mojito was super refreshing and perfectly balanced—not too sweet, not too sour. I really enjoyed it! Great place. Came here by chance on Friday. Had a drink on the terrace. Stayed to eat. Delicious! Came here on Saturday with a group of 14 people. They immediately pushed tables together and had a fantastic meal again. Good and very friendly service. Absolute recommendation

Before we went to a show in Ahoy, we went here for dinner on the advice of a friend. And it is definitely recommended! Friendly and fast staff, delicious food at a good price and a nice atmosphere. We had to eat pretty quickly this time because of the show, but we will definitely come back again to do it all over again.

The atmosphere was warm and cozy, perfect for a special occasion like a birthday. The shisha was also of high quality and the drinks were tasty and well taken care of. There is a very bad person at closing time, exactly 1 o'clock. After we had 50 reservations, we asked him if he could go to the toilet for a lady. He shouted and said it was closed and wished us in Turkish. There was someone with us who understood him. Learn to respect customers.

I am actually done with Sultan. They served red meat and chicken while my husband and I had come to eat on a quiet day. My husband said that the meat was not cooked properly. Yes, they solved this by putting the same piece of meat on the barbecue again, but then I wonder how professional the kitchen team really is. I don't think you will miss a customer like me, but if you are going to charge top dollar, please make sure the food is of good quality.

I came to this place for the first time upon the recommendation of a friend. The service quality was surprisingly high. Food was good and staff friendly and fast. On the pricey side though and it was quite noisy inside. The tables and benches are also very close together, which is less comfortable. Found the previous, older layout of the restaurant much more pleasant.

I’ve been there many times. One word: perfect. This is the best Turkish restaurant I’ve been to in Europe. The breakfast, the dishes, the desserts, and the service are all top-notch. Went here with a friend, we did not sit in the lounge but in the restaurant area. The lounge area is mainly occupied by men. The food was very tasty, service was top notch. Occasionally asked if they needed anything. There is a light on each table where if you turn it upside down it shows a red light and the waiter knows that you want to ask something instead of... that she should wave your hand. Very nice! The atmosphere was nice and quiet in the restaurant, we were there around 9 p.m. during the week. Nicely decorated too. I was very satisfied, I don't say this quickly.

The best service ever. Warm welcome, we ordered fast and got drinks in 2 minutes. No joke. Staff monitored our table and cleaned empty staff and leftovers almost immediately. We had some drinks and shisha, but we commin back to taste some food next time as well. Thanks a lot!

Bad experience – rude service and uncomfortable atmosphere! I ordered a Mojito Passion Fruit but they brought me a Pornstar Martini instead. When I indicated that this was not my order, the waitress took the drink away to correct it. But the man who took my order – a tall man with tattoos on his hands – brought it back himself and rudely and rudely insisted that this was my order when it clearly wasn't! As if that wasn't enough, he looked at us in an uncomfortable way the entire time, which made the experience even worse. Bad service, unprofessional staff and an unpleasant atmosphere. I will never come back here and don't recommend it to anyone!

There were eight of us at the restaurant and we ordered three grill plates for two people each, plus one additional dish. Since two people in our group didn't eat, the order was designed specifically for six people. However, instead of three individual grill plates, we received only one large plate for six people, along with a small plate of salad and a small plate of fish. The main problem was that, regardless of the number of people ordering, each grill plate was always served with a small plate of fish and a small plate of salad. This meant that, despite ordering for six people, we didn't receive more of these side dishes than a table with only two guests. Some items were available in slightly larger quantities, but overall the portion was far too small. The wings, chops, and other cuts of meat were particularly insufficient. When we mentioned this to the waiter, he explained that they had run out of small plates—but that shouldn't be our problem. If there are organizational deficiencies, at least the quantity needs to be adjusted accordingly. In the end, we paid €30 per person, no less just because the food was served on a larger plate. Although we were assured that the kitchen would be informed, there was no response whatsoever. The result: No one was truly full, but the bill was still high. Conclusion: Absolutely not justified for the price. The portions are too small, the service unprofessional – definitely not recommended.

We recently had dinner here with some friends. The mix grill was delicious and the service was smooth. The interior of the restaurant is beautiful. The only downside was that there was no salt/pepper on our table.

We took the mix grill for 2 people and a carafe of their house wine. All of them tasted amazing. And of course their shisha was amazing. Nice atmosphere, definitely recommend.

Food was generic Turkish but the price-quality ratio is completely wrong. 89 p.p...for the price you can go to much higher quality restaurants. Only visit here if you like shisha, but not to eat.

We have been to this restaurant several times for Iftar! The menu is delicious. All the food is fresh and perfectly prepared! We had lentil soup, salad, appetizers, and chicken fillet with mushrooms and rice—absolutely amazing! And the künefe for dessert was beyond praise! Excellent service and atmosphere!

I went there with my wife , all sofas are dirty and shisha was really disgusting 🤢 we order mixed snack it was horrible full of oil and im not sure what kind of oil they use & they charge us 60 € excuses fir what 60€ First and last time Not recommended at all

I was very shocked by what I discovered in this restaurant. There are hidden cameras installed in the toilets which is completely unacceptable. I strongly encourage anyone who has visited this establishment to be careful and report any suspicious behavior to the appropriate authorities.
