We had the Beyti and İçli Köfte and both were absolutely delicious. The atmosphere, service and overall quality were all excellent. Definitely a great dining experience!

We stopped here while passing through and were pleasantly surprised. Everything was really delicious and tasted great. The meat, in particular, was incredibly tender and perfectly cooked. The stop was definitely worth it – we'll gladly come back when we're in the area!

(Ordering via Thuisbezorgd) This restaurant is insanely good. All the dishes are delicious; you can taste that they are prepared with love. I didn't know Turkish food could be this tasty. The freshness and quality of the food are also very good, by the way. Sofra is one of the standouts.

Logic isn't the best in this place, but oh well, it's probably something Turkish or something. First, you have to indicate 16 times that you want a doner sandwich and not a durum. And if you eat the doner sandwich inside, you get fries served with it for 9.50, and some care is taken with the food you receive. Although I must say that the sandwich is loaded with salad instead of meat. As soon as you take your order to go, the rules change. No fries, super cold bread and meat due to the soggy and excessive amount of salad to save on the meat. And all that for 9.50—scandalous.

Everything was great, we were in Rotterdam around 11:30 am - 12:00 pm on Saturday, found a parking spot right away, strolled around the streets a bit, and around 12:30 pm we went to the restaurant, got a table immediately, everything was great – food, service, etc. But you shouldn't go to eat later, it's packed after 1 pm.

So today I called Sofra to ask how much a mixed grill costs with 20 extra chicken wings and 1 extra container of rice - very clear, right? The gentleman told me it cost 45.50, so I said yes, that's fine, just do the word, picked it up. In the end, we had to pay more than they said, which I thought was really weird since I was clear on the phone. Okay, fine, just paid. It was 50.50 then. Okay, at home we saw that they had received very little. Sorry, for 50 euros I expected more, so unfortunately not everyone could eat because of the rice, and on top of that there was a hair in the food and the meat was very salty. Sorry, I'm not coming here again. Next time I'll go back to Ezzo; you get value for your money there.

I ate here today. We had a grill platter for 2 people and it was really delicious. Truly a top restaurant, ma sha Allah.

If you come during Ramadan to have Iftar, it should be 2 x 33 euros. When you get to the cash register, she says 74 euros, that's not right. Then they also ask for packaging surcharges to take it with you during Ramadan, very strange and ask for money for fries that I didn't order. And before we even sat down, the waitress boy started pushing me because someone else was sitting there.

I went out for dinner here with my girlfriend last night. I hadn't been in a long time, but the food is still good. The prices aren't too high either. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. I haven't experienced service like this in a long time. Keep up the good work!

I normally never change a review, but this time I felt it was necessary. The food was good and arrived on time. I had lunch with someone else and ordered a drink. The other person asked for a small glass of tap water to take her medication. However, this wasn't possible. The staff checked with the manager, and a small bottle of sparkling water was the only option. I find this a real shame. The total charge was over 60 euros, but apparently, a small amount of tap water for medical purposes was too much to ask. This speaks volumes about how this restaurant treats its customers. The star rating has gone down from 5 to 2.

It's a great restaurant, i come always from Hertogenbosch to eat here. The cost is much less than the quality, variety and delicious. People are very lovely, they take care of the customers and our satisfaction is very important to them. I would like to thank the staff, especially Amani, she is very lovely and friendly 😊. Equally with another places according to prices and quality, this restaurant always wins. If I come to Rotterdam, I'll always eat there. It's very recommended 👌

Good restaurant with tasty food and fast service with a hygienic kitchen

I was very pleased to see that the quality has remained consistent over the years. Amani gave me a warm welcome and friendly service. The young man was also sweet, but Amani was clearly the pro, masha Allah. I sat outside in the sun, but when I paid, I noticed that the music inside was low enough for people to hear each other. A very pleasant experience that I will definitely repeat.

The food is decent. On the other hand, one waitress was rude and unprofessional, which partly spoiled the experience. Fortunately, the rest of the staff is friendly and welcoming.

The food was delicious, the staff were friendly, the atmosphere was great. We found a new place to eat...highly recommended. The only downside is that you have to tip the staff directly, otherwise it goes to the owner.

Honestly best Turkish food I’ve eaten so far. I’ve been to this place twice, first time I ordered some skewered meat with rice (I don’t exactly remember) and second time some spare ribs. The ribs were honestly some of the best ribs I’ve ever eaten and they were also very very tender which for me personally it might have been too much but it wasn’t much of an issue. The service was great and it wasn’t anything extravagant or out of this world but it was genuine and efficient. In terms of atmosphere, it was pretty good and despite it being slightly empty, it was also a Sunday afternoon on a rainy day. Overall, definitely worth the visit and also worth mentioning that every dish is fully worth the price 👍

Probably one of my favourite restaurants in the Netherlands. The food is so hearty and fragrant. I love the fact that they have soups which are very hard to find. I tried the tavuk, işkembe and kelle paça and they were all very tasty. My favourite is probably the tavuk. I can't figure out what the ingredients are, but they blend very well and I wanna keep ordering again and again. This comes from a person who isn't a chicken fan. Because I love beef and I often crave işkembe and kelle paça. The must try here is iskender. The meat is so tender and it just melts in your mouth. Love the sauce. Love the fresh bread. Keep in mind that adana kebap and sac kavurma are also insanely good. So it's really hard to choose what to order. I like to bring my loved ones and we all order different things and we share them so we can try them all. The place is very clean, the service is friendly and prompt.

I have never, really never posted a review on this one in my entire life, I thought I would have something to eat at this restaurant, my order was literally 1 mix grill, I waited 45 minutes for my food and did not receive any food from the waitresses, after those 45 minutes I then left the restaurant without eating anything. (service is a 0.0)

Since we went there for our first iftar in Ramadan, I think they hadn't yet settled on the iftar menu and distribution. But considering the deliciousness of what we ate, it's a place we'd go back to.

I don't think you should call it a Turkish restaurant. The flavors have nothing to do with Turkey. I have never had chicken broth with that recipe anywhere. Neither in Anatolia, nor in the Aegean, nor in the East. Moreover, it is very expensive. Make sure that it is experienced personnel. We want chicken broth, lentils are coming. We ask for a wrap and it comes in portions.

Sofra Restaurant is without a doubt the best Turkish restaurant in Rotterdam! From the moment you step in, you feel the authentic atmosphere and hospitality that immediately takes you to Turkey. The food is always fresh, tasty and perfectly seasoned. Every dish is prepared with love and you can taste it! The mezzes are rich and varied, and the baklava for dessert is an absolute must!

We ordered chicken burgers. This one was tasty. We also ordered a cheeseburger which was also tasty, but unfortunately very wet and the bread was cold. Tip: put the burger on the bottom and the lettuce on top.

Had breakfast here this morning. Ordered breakfast and it was quickly brought to my table. Varied/various tasty products. The lady who helped me was very hospitable/attentive and regularly came to check/ask if everything was as expected. Really good restaurant it also got busy quickly when I was there. That says a lot.
