Just a quick point of feedback. My 85-year-old mother bought a gift card from you. When she picked it up, she received a stapled envelope, without any explanation. It was a gift for an 80-year-old couple... The card with a QR code is meaningless and is tucked away among various brochures. She didn't understand it at all, and she is independent, but an explanation would have been very welcome. Tip: explain just a little more to the elderly regarding digital matters. They aren't stupid, but QR codes, loose cards, and just assuming they know how to arrange this is going a bit too far.

You can eat well here and it's not too expensive at all👍

Great location but the breakfast burger could be better. We also had the American pancakes which were very good. Shout out to the wonderful service by the all female staff there 👏

Even though it was Sunday and almost all the shops in the area were closed, you could have a delicious brunch here on a great terrace; the service was good, and the club sandwich was also good.

Way too expensive for cafeteria quality. We had the Salade Luna with crunchy chicken, which was completely tasteless. The presentation is worthless; all in all, there is very little love put into the food. Don't order water with your wine if they ask for it, because that gets charged too.

A good spot near Centrum Stein, where you can eat well and feel pleasantly full afterwards. Also good service and friendly people who are happy to help you. They also kindly ask if everything is to your liking, and it certainly is!!

The food is super good, that certainly has to be said. Super friendly and good service. It is just a real shame that you can no longer pay with cash. Our freedom is truly going down the drain because of this. And if anyone thinks it won't be that bad, I can factually substantiate and contradict that. Because when it comes to safety, that isn't always better; people are being robbed in their homes these days, and crime is only getting worse. No cash means the end of freedom!! Period. Just think about it carefully.

We made a great choice. The dishes were perfectly seasoned, and the service was friendly and attentive. We only deducted a point for the fries.

The owner has several restaurants in the area in addition to this one in Stein, also in Sittard and on the Windraak (31). It is clear that the owner knows his stuff. Consistent quality, good and extensive menu, friendly Dutch-speaking staff. We had the chef's lunch platter, delicious and more than enough. See the photos.

Driven by "the blessings" of Pluvius, we sought a place to take shelter during our bike ride through De Hoge Kempen. As a result, we did not make use of the beautiful terrace, but we were impressed by the industrial design of the interior, with its delightful seating comfort and beautiful decorations. We were enthusiastic about the extensive lunch menu, but lack of time forced us to limit ourselves to coffee with... naturally, flan (apricot flan in the photo).

A cozy restaurant with an extensive menu. Friendly staff. Options include indoor or outdoor terrace. If you are in Stein, Limburg, it is absolutely a must to stop here for a drink, lunch, or dinner.

We come here quite often but haven't been for a while. We had dinner today, but unfortunately, it was disappointing. The new (for us) menu has less choice and prices have gone up. That's not a problem if you get value for money. Unfortunately, we didn't find that to be the case this time: portions were small, taste was so-so, and service was meh. Dry bread and some crackers in the bread basket for 8.95. The presentation/contents/quality of the 20 euro salad was truly lousy (cafeteria quality). Little variety on the plate and dollops of aioli (see photo). Whereas the plating used to be superb. A shame, but we won't be coming back for a while.

For a farewell lunch for our Amsterdam colleague, our Avantium team decided to have lunch at Luna. The order was taken calmly and professionally. The serving was also done in a relaxed manner. Excellent. And most importantly, the food is very tasty, fresh, and the portions are sufficient. And to top it all off, a super delicious dessert: the bokkepootjes ice cream cake. We ordered two slices, and that was even allowed with six forks (no problem). Super. In short, we will definitely be returning here from our branch on the Chemelot site.

Had a delicious meal. Lunch platter for 2 people. The soup was very tasty, both the mustard soup and the tomato soup. The sandwiches were deliciously filled, flavorful, clearly all freshly made; otherwise, everything was perfectly fine. Service was also to our liking. The food arrived quickly, definitely a plus! Last Saturday, I had lunch at Restaurant Luna in Stein with 10 friends for my birthday, and we had a wonderful time! 🎉 We opted for the Shared Lunch, and it was truly delicious: super tasty, varied, and clearly prepared with care. There was something for everyone. The staff was also incredibly friendly and welcoming. We were given plenty of time to quietly enjoy the food and each other's company. We also sat together very snugly, which made it even more cozy. We absolutely loved it! Definitely a place we'd love to return to. 😊

Best meal i’ve ever had, will be thinking about how much i loved this gnocchi for a while. Cannot recommend enough! Staff were very friendly. Lots of vegetarian options on the menu.

The menu prices aren't very clear about what's included and what's included. The staff can't explain it very well.

We ordered mustard soup, which tasted of everything but mustard; the soup was also lukewarm, had far too much bacon bits, and they were also tough. We received two rolls: rock hard! They did offer to bring us more soup when we paid, but a new bowl of non-mustard soup didn't appeal to us. In short: impossible, especially not for that price! Checking the menu online is also a challenge; you can't refuse the cookies... Well, just forget it then!

We had a delicious meal paired with three well-drafted beers. The staff were friendly and helpful. Inside, it was very pleasant to sit in the cozy setting. We'll definitely be back.

Nice, cozy atmosphere. Friendly and helpful staff. The food was good but not exceptional. The presentation was very nice, though. For these prices, I expected a bit more from the food. But that might just be me or the evening itself. Nevertheless, we had a pleasant evening.

Cozy and atmospheric. Too bad the fries weren't tasty. They seemed like they'd been refried five times. The warm vegetables weren't cooked through either. The Brussels sprouts and carrots were rock hard. More raw than cooked. The meat was good, though. We won't be back.

I had a cup of coffee and a treat with a friend. The coffee was delicious, and the pastries (cheesecake) were also a hit. The staff was super friendly and quick, even though it was very busy. Reservations are definitely recommended! We'll definitely be back.

The service at this restaurant is very good, and the atmosphere is nice and welcoming. However, the food is nothing exceptional mostly fried items, basic dishes, and bread. It’s a decent spot if you’re looking for friendly service, but don’t expect anything extraordinary on the plate.

Delicious food, I ordered a carpaccio salad and Limburg mustard soup. Very well prepared. The salad was extremely rich, consisted of dried tomatoes, pastinak crisps, mayo, fresh vegetables and very tasty carpaccio.

The food was really good. I told them in advance i was there for my anniversary and they gave us a really romantic and secluded seat. They also made a Ballon with happy anniversary, we felt really special. I can totally recommend comming here

Because we had a Luna gift voucher, the two of us went for dinner. When you charge well over 20 euros for most main courses, you'd expect a lot. But apart from the service, everything else was a real disappointment. It started with the wine not being the right temperature. If I have to pay 6.50 euros for a glass of wine, it has to be good. When they then bring ice cubes, you really don't understand how to enjoy a good glass of wine. Both main courses, apart from the presentation, were also significantly subpar in quality. My wife's longest fries were 4cm, but most were much shorter. She even left them, which I'm not used to from her. The burger was also far from flavorful, and my pasta only deserved a 6. Finally, the tiramisu with amarena cherries was an abundance of cherries with a touch of tiramisu. Because we had a gift voucher, we stayed; otherwise, we would have left the restaurant prematurely.

I live in Urmond and used to go to Luna regularly. I was there this afternoon with my mother. Now, I'll be honest, I do pay attention to hospitality/atmosphere/service. Partly because I love to pamper guests at home, and partly because I've worked in retail for years, where service is incredibly important. A customer isn't just a "customer." Anyway, I sat down with my mother in the middle of the counter. Then the waiter said, "Sorry, this table is reserved for tonight, they're making it into a large table." Uh...it was 3:00 PM, so I said, "Okay...but it's not evening yet." We politely got up and sat in a "cozy" little booth by the window. We ordered two cappuccinos and a slice of banana bread, which we waited quite a while for, even though it wasn't busy. Sorry, but the banana bread was far from special. Personally, I don't think the flower garnish is that important. Just before we had to pay, the waiter put the "reserved" sign on our table. Oh, so rude! 🙈 Wait another two minutes until your guests are gone? Sorry, Luna. You might have multiple restaurants, but you definitely won't be seeing me again. I'd rather give the profit to a smaller business owner who, by the way, might actually work with love and passion! Such a shame!

Sat on the terrace for a drink. The Luna Sunset, well, 13 ice cubes, not much drink, it tasted like lemonade syrup. The latte came in a lemonade glass, which meant it would get cold very quickly. So, in conclusion, once but never again!

During a busy and sunny weekend, we stopped here with a few people on a bike ride. Time for coffee and Limburg pie. Then, at 10:00 AM, it turned out there were only a few pieces of pie left. They tasted like they came from the supermarket. That's unthinkable for a place like this, in my opinion. You'd expect a wide selection of fresh pies here every day...

Drinks are good. Food is disappointing. What really shocked me was that they have sangria on the menu for €29.95/L. Why? Because it has a little Licor 43 in it? Seriously, if you order this, you're only paying 43%. Ridiculous price. In all of Spain, they charge half this price, and it's definitely tastier. But hey, to each their own, of course.

Friendly service. The food is fine, but there weren't many vegetables. Lemonade with mango and sparkling water, at €5, was too expensive for what you get. Just plain lemonade syrup with sparkling water, two millimeter-thin slices of dried mango. I expected a bit more.

Better than Luna in Sittard! The location might be less inviting than the city center, but the food is better. The restaurant and terrace are larger and cozy (the back wall offers plenty of privacy with nice built-in benches), and the same faces have been serving for years. Super friendly and knowledgeable! The cocktails are particularly good!

It's such a shame that my children and partners and I had such a terrible birthday lunch. I've been coming here for years, but this was truly disappointing. The pork belly sandwiches were cold, not filled as described, and the photo certainly wasn't how we received them. Every bite was dry, cold bread with an overload of lettuce and tiny bacon bits. Then I only ordered two portions of sweet potato fries. We received two-thirds of the portions, the small ones were tasty and the large ones soft. I found it really annoying that she came to the table with the printed receipt even though I hadn't asked to pay, but because we hadn't ordered anything else to drink. Such a shame!

The location is very nice and quiet. Stylish decor, with a lovely outdoor area. The food could have been spicier. Prices are around €20 per main course.

Lunch at Luna in Stein is always great. It's wise to make a reservation, as it gets busy, especially on weekends. The food is good quality, and they adapt dishes without hesitation (no tomato in any dish). There's a wide selection of drinks and several craft beers on tap. With every new menu, I notice some shrinkage. The club sandwich is now served on focaccia instead of thick slices of bread, with slightly less toppings. The price-quality ratio is still good, although it feels a bit different than before. The terrace is pleasantly sunny, and there's free parking right in front. Good to know: payment is only possible by card, but that's not a problem for us.

I've decided not to go here again. This is the second time we've been there and haven't been noticed at all. The first time, we left without ordering anything, and yesterday (July 19th) I tried again. It also took ages to be noticed, even though the waitresses were busy with... No idea (they just looked around and then went back inside). We were sitting outside on the patio, not hidden somewhere or out of sight of the waitresses. Eventually, I managed to order, but it took forever to pay. I went inside to pay myself, but I would have preferred to just get up. This was truly the last time for me.

Unfortunately our soup was way too salty, we could have had the other day soup which someone in our group also took but it was lukewarm. Too bad but also no alternative or compensation for it ... very unfortunate because the rest of the food was just good. This stays in the back of your mind and whether I want to go back remains the question.

We went for lunch and the lunch menu looks so good that you want to try everything. We will definitely come back here.

I thought it was disgusting, dirty, after I saw how dirty the floor and tables were. Drink paid and greetings. Well, there may well be people who have no problem with this.

Had a delicious meal here with my colleague. Just like last time, I had the carpaccio salad and for dessert the Dubai Dream, which was my first time but it was really tasty. My colleague had the mixed grill, which also looked very good, and for dessert the bokkepootjes ice cream cake. I sat on the chair opposite my colleague who was sitting on the couch but I believe I chose the best seat. My colleague was not sitting very well on the couch. The staff is friendly and there is a nice atmosphere in the restaurant.

This time a lesser experience at Luna. There was actually a hair in my food. That simply shouldn't happen. The atmosphere in the restaurant was fine. Nice and lively.

We regularly have a bite to eat at Luna, and are very satisfied with it. They generally have tasty dishes and the service is (usually) good. The price/quality ratio is excellent, but that is the secret of a restaurant that is doing well. You can also have a delicious breakfast and lunch here, the lunch menu is actually even better than the dinner menu.

Stopped along the way for something to eat (reserved online in advance). Nicely decorated. We were 4 (two children, two adults): tomato soup, fries, chicken burger and falafel burger. Afterwards a sweet plank. Everything was well taken care of and delicious. Staff was very friendly and attentive. We will definitely come back when we are in the area.

We decided to celebrate a bachelorette here because of the wide choice of vegetarian dishes on the menu, we never expected that this would become our new favorite restaurant! The service was really great! Fast and cheerful girls who pay attention to the details, the mocktails looked so neat and tasted delicious! We had three courses and there is not a bad word to say about it, the flavors went so well together, the presentation of the dishes looked beautiful and the portions were really big! They have something for everyone! That makes this place great for eating together. We would especially like to thank our hostess of that evening (Romy) for a successful evening! 11 o'clock on Monday morning ... reserved ... not busy ... 2 tables occupied ... they were placed somewhere in the back ... messy, the dirty laundry was next to us ... while the place was empty ... we order coffee after dinner ... they leave the plates on that small table ... I had also put the plates on top of each other ... sad ....

Delicious food, cozy tent, great service. I just wonder (and it has been the trend in all restaurants for years; not just at Luna) why the meat is put on the vegetables, especially if there is also meat sauce on top, which then soaks into the vegetables (hence only four stars). Furthermore, I am not a fan of an open connection to the kitchen. Makes me restless. But hey, that's my opinion. That is why only four stars for the atmosphere.

I tried to look at the menu on the website. But I couldn't refuse the cookies. Really shamefully poorly designed. Reason not to come there anymore. Now you've lost $60 in restaurant sales for the slim chance of putting maybe 2 cents worth of spyware on my phone.
