A delicious main meal for both of us. The only point was that the fries were sprinkled with too much salt. For me a super tarte tartin for dessert. Very friendly service with a full smile. Despite the Monday evening, a beautiful and wonderful atmosphere on Monday, December 30th.

Luna Stein is a very cozy place with excellent value for money. The place is always busy, which of course says a lot about its popularity. The service is friendly and the interior is cozy and attractive, which creates a pleasant ambiance. However, I think the biggest disadvantage is the coffee. Even though they use good beans from Blanche Dael, they make the coffee with a fully automatic machine. Unfortunately, my cappuccino was not of the quality I expected; the foam was really bad. As a lover of a good cup of coffee, this is a downer. I also think it's a shame that they only accept debit card payments. Cash payment is not possible... It's bizarre that they pursue these kinds of goals. Only 2 stars because these issues are relatively easy to solve.

Super tasty food and drinks in a cozy environment with very friendly service! Was a little chilly where we sat but otherwise perfect! The breakfast was varied, fresh, crispy rolls, tasty pancakes, good coffee, etc. In short: highly recommended. My 11 year old son was also super excited

Major disappointment. Souvlaki was bone dry and had never seen a grill plate. The product should not actually be called that. The Greek herbs were probably gone... Presentation was also substandard: a wooden board with a piece of paper on which the two pathetic sticks lay lost. What someone else might experience as pleasant hustle and bustle, for me it was a lot of noise and the pounding bass of the music did not improve the atmosphere. Luckily I don't live nearby so I don't have to come back here anymore.

Quality is disappointing, it is at snack bar level... Little pronounced taste. The quantity is disappointing, shrinkage has also struck here. Next time we will drive a little further, although it is close by.

The grilled dishes have been heated up and dried out. Fast food preparation with traditional ingredients. Everything (our meat dishes) is heated with hot air Too bad, this comes at the expense of presentation and taste. According to the waiter, we had reacted too late, so they could have served something else. However, we had made one to our taste, that makes sense. I don't order meat if I want a salad... Preparing the dish differently was not possible anyway as there was no operational grill. The lady also agreed. Messy view in the very nice "house", a pity. The service understood our criticism but unfortunately did not make up for it in any way. We didn't want any discount or compensation, after all we ate everything. A cup of coffee would have been understanding enough. Then the review would not have been posted. Sorry. Last tip: repair the doors, a bit sloppy. Good luck with the improvements!

Used the same tactics again today. Along the route from the campsite in Maasmechelen to the cinema in Sittard, we used Google Maps to look for villages with a nice lunch spot. Arrived at Luna based on the photos and reviews. We had not made a reservation, but this is definitely recommended, it was quite busy. Once at the table we discovered that this restaurant is a 'sister' of the restaurant where we had such a delicious meal a few days before (Arrosto). We also saw that they have more 'sisters', so we will definitely try them out as well. The staff was very friendly and, above all, quite fast despite the crowds. The food looked good and tasted great. Once again, it's a shame that these 'sisters' are not in our area (Gelderland), otherwise I would definitely go there more often. Legend: 1) Terrible! I don't recommend it, I will never come back! 2) Too bad, below my expectations, I won't come again. 3) Ok, nothing wrong with that, but nothing special, nice for once. 4) Fine, worth coming back. 5) Excellent! I recommend, I will definitely come back!

Six of us went to eat and as a former chef I also give the rating 8 on behalf of the other five. It would have been a 10 if the plates had been preheated!!

A disillusionment. We sat on the terrace for 10 minutes (29/6/24), first serving at the table next to us who sat down later. We were completely ignored. (Really Limburgish. You're none of us!) Then the waitress went inside to chat with her colleague and then came out and started cleaning the tables. Bye Luna, this is absolutely not worth a visit anymore.

Been coming here for years and am a regular and satisfied customer. There is something for everyone on the menu, I have tasted all the dishes and I like everything. Savings system is what they have is great! Also plenty of gluten-free options. The only pity is that payment can only be made by PIN and I personally think that is a shame and absolutely not possible.

Very nice place, very cozy. Very nice staff. My son immediately received a coloring page and loved it. The food was all delicious. Club sandwich, beef sandwich, fish combo, the bouncer and the pancakes for the little ones were all top notch and had a good taste. We will definitely come back

Too bad tables are too close together.

Over the years it has become far too expensive for what you get in return. Mixed grill with a piece of dry chicken, a dry steak and something that passes for souvlaki, added carrot and charging 25 euros for it is really not possible. €8.75 for a Weizener... you don't even pay that in big cities. During dinner with 5 people we unanimously decided not to eat at Luna anymore.

A big five stars. Perhaps partly inspired by the nice sunshine yesterday, but: food: great! Price: great! Service: young club ladies who seem to be having a good time and have an eye for the guests. We didn't have to wait too long anywhere and we received great help. Very child friendly, With coloring pages and pancakes to decorate yourself. And handy: plenty of parking space nearby. Disappointing breakfast… We ordered a breakfast for 3 and only received 1 butter for 3 people, 1 jam for 3… Sandwiches disappointing: photos on the internet of breakfast do not correspond to reality. We received 2 EXTREMELY small pieces of bread that we couldn't even fit a slice of cheese in between. We were also not given any cutlery, we had to ask for it. For €55 you get MUCH more elsewhere and with better service. Never again for us.
