Lunchcafé Ambiance in Wijk 21 Blerick-Midden

Staff unfriendly, waiting, waiting and eventually, finally the coffee, but the soup never came. When you finally asked for it, they were busy, long faces, and this isn't the first time. I went to pay for the coffee afterwards; I didn't mention the soup because I didn't get it. Well, that face got even sourer. Instead of a solution, the answer I got was, "We have sick staff," and the other employee said, "Yes, I'm settling the bill, that needs to be done too." Well, I bet they must have gotten out of bed on the wrong side. This is the third time, but also the last time. A course in etiquette wouldn't be a luxury for the staff there. The previous owner was top-notch, as was the staff.

The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, modern yet cozy and inviting, with spacious tables. The service was friendly and prompt. Coffee comes with a standard cup of whipped cream and a fancy cookie—you don't see that very often these days! The sandwiches were delicious and generous portions. Definitely recommended.

I'd skip this restaurant for the main courses. The steak came straight from the freezer, so it had no flavor and was just watery. The one star is still there because the fries and the appetizer were decent. Maybe the sandwiches are good, but the main courses are definitely not.

What arrogant people! Disabled people are not welcome. I was just asked/ordered to sit directly under the table, even though my leg can't. I was offered a chair as an option, as if I were a toddler needing my mom to correct me. This was my last visit to this mediocre restaurant for my eighth birthday.

We eat at Ambiance regularly and are very satisfied. The quality and price ratio are excellent, and the presentation of the dishes is a feast for the eyes. It's a charming location for a delicious lunch. The service is very friendly.

We had another delicious lunch today at the cozy and atmospheric restaurant at Ambiance. We come back here every month with nine bowling ladies 😍 The staff is fantastic and really goes the extra mile, especially during busy lunch times. Hats off to them! There's also a lot of variety on the lunch menu. I highly recommend everyone try it. Yvonne Rozendaal

How grumpy the waitress is: I don't know if she is always this unfriendly! For us, clearly not the 'ambiance' you expect I prefer to eat my breakfast somewhere where I feel welcome (Nothing to the detriment of the 2 friendly ladies)

A nice lunch spot on the 4th floor of Berden. Friendly service and I didn't have to wait long for my tea and the Tom Kha kai. This Thai chicken soup with crispy mini spring rolls was very tasty. The toilet is also on the 4th floor, opposite the escalators and the elevator is also nearby. For 1 euro you have a spacious and clean toilet.

Two stars, purely because we were ignored for fifteen minutes. Everyone was helped except our table. Very strange. If the waitress hadn't come we would have walked away. Food is fine.

It took forever before we received our lunch, and then: schnitzel was dry and the tasteless sauce clearly came from a packet. The salmon was quite tasty, but here too the sauce was not prepared locally. Not really what we had hoped for.

Ambience has had a major makeover. It looks very nice and most importantly: you can have a very tasty lunch here. Service is also excellent.

Unfortunately the female younger waiter was very unfriendly and not polite. Stands one meter away to take the order. Put it on the table with difficulty. Walks away while asking a question.

Breakfast was tasty and sufficient.

The dishes vary in quality, depending on the chef that day. The decor is a bit old-fashioned, but that actually makes it cozy. The "older" waitresses are not always friendly and attentive. Often get into discussions with the customer, really not the right method!

Had breakfast, very little choice, rolls were still white, my daughter ate 1 roll, but still had to pay 9.95 euros, scandalous. certainly not worth repeating. Too bad because the location is great.

Very tasty and pleasant lunch! Waldkorn roll with steamed salmon, lettuce, mandarin and cocktail sauce. Delicious! Only found the backs of the chairs a bit hard. But that's personal. Old-fashioned appearance but everything very clean! I think this lunch shop deliberately keeps its appearance that way. Would love to come back!

Good service and very cozy, but it was quite little for a price of 10,- pp. The currant bread was also dry
