Let's have lunch here! The lighting is a bit uninviting (in my opinion) but the service is a smooth and pleasant young lady. Drinks and food come quickly. The only disadvantage: the apparently established 'thick sandwich' that makes a tasty bite a 'sandwich impossible'. Give the chef that thick sandwich to eat himself! The toasted sandwich of the lady next to us was also the size of an elephant. Stop that!

We ordered a lunch platter and the food was delicious. When we entered, we were greeted very nicely because it was full, but we had a table after a few minutes. The service was very good and the staff very friendly.

They get a big 10 from us! We came here for lunch on a Monday, without a reservation, and we received a friendly welcome! There was a nice atmosphere in the lunchroom, we didn't have to wait long for our delicious food and drinks, we were politely asked if everything was to our liking. Worth repeating!

Delicious food, friendly service and nice atmosphere. Despite the crowds, we were closely monitored and food arrived quickly. We had a snack and a burger. A latte macchiato with a pump of syrup is also delicious as a drink.

I had the hamburger sandwich with fries with fresh mint tea with honey. The hamburger was quite thick so the hamburger bun alone would have been enough for me, the fries were unnecessary. The fries are also an option. Very tasty burger! Staff were very friendly and jovial, joking with the customers created a great atmosphere. It was quite busy when I was there, around 1pm. But I was served quickly and got my food quickly too. Due to the crowds it could be a bit loud. There is also a large terrace outside. Definitely recommended!

On a busy Saturday, enjoy lunch at Lunchroom de Kattegen in the center of Tilburg. We got there around 12:30 with nice weather. The terrace was almost full, but there were still quite a few places inside. The staff is friendly and up for a joke. It is noticeable that they are working hard. We had our drinks on the table in no time and the food we ordered was also there within 10 minutes. What a service. There is plenty of choice. From sandwiches to pancakes. We had ordered the 12 o'clock ourselves. It was presented beautifully on a wooden board. Looked really nice. The atmosphere in the cat's back is good. It looks nice and light and fresh. We will definitely come back more often :)

Had to wait 50 minutes for lunch/bread. When I asked where the food was, I was told that it was busy, and I said, I would have preferred if you had said this when placing the order. And the crowds weren't too bad, it was quite empty inside. After paying, another waitress on the terrace told me that I should not have said that, because the girl was only 19 and they were doing their best. Reason for me not to go back here again. The old staff was much friendlier and more hospitable. They wouldn't have thought of saying: you can see it's busy. 50 minutes……….

Great lunch spot, also for a gluten-free sandwich. Were very helpful in seeing what gluten-free options were available. Bread could perhaps have been toasted, now wasn't great. Toppings, on the other hand, were really great! My sister had the club sandwich (not gluten-free) and found it mediocre, especially with a lot of bread compared to the filling, which made it a bit dry. My mother had the same thing as me, only non-gluten-free and she also liked it very much.

Very warmly received here. It was very busy, but we wanted to wait a while, but a table was quickly available. Within 5 minutes we were seated at a clean table. It's a well-oiled machine. Even though it was busy, we were helped quickly and friendly. Things were off and on here, but there was no stress visible among the staff. The menu is nicely varied and there is something for everyone.

Didn't met my expectations. We ordered Philly Cheese Steak and a Club Sandwich. First one, No pepper No salt No flavor, Naanbrood(arguable). Second one, asked to take out the egg, the waitress replied saying they couldn't do it because the sandwich was already made (?). So we pay 13 euro for a pre-made sandwich with cold fries.

Sandwich katterug was lekker maar vrij droog. De tosti is een goede basic optie, de katterugsaus moet je voor zijn. Vriendelijke maar voor ons iets te aanwezige bediening. Goed voor een snelle hap tijdens het shoppen.

Afgelopen maandag zijn we daar gaan eten, 's morgens koffie met gebak, 's middags een heerlijke maaltijd, vriendelijk personeel en snelle service, goed betaalbaar.

Ligger roligt for enden af sidegade til strøet. Meget høflig service, god mad til fair pris. Kan anbefales til frokost.

The katterug is centrally located, but not necessarily in the most beautiful or buzzing part of town. Service was alright, but the food was mediocre at best. Prices are average and reasonable, considering the size of the portions. If you're looking at quality, I definitely think you can get a better dish at the same rate at a different restaurant.
