What terrible service! I called Lungo, and they couldn't reach the delivery driver. What a terrible idea to order from this restaurant. We waited 2.5 hours for our order. When the food arrived, it was cold. Horrible service.

Always delicious pasta at Lungo! Order here often, and the service is always friendly. Carbonare Deluxe is highly recommended.

We've eaten here a few times before, and we always found the young men there rather unfriendly, but this one takes the cake. We went there on November 30th and wanted to order two pastas. The menu said €14.75, and the guy wanted to charge us more because the cash register indicated that. I refused because the menu showed a different price. The guy (devoid of any decency or respect) gave me a pretty big slur, so I cut him off and said, "Go get your guide." He then walked to the back, and we heard him talking about us! It was absolutely ridiculous. He came back up front and suddenly the owner was there in five minutes... of course, we didn't believe it, so we left and had a delicious meal somewhere else! The service was super friendly, and we'll never go to Lungo again and will gladly share this story with others! 😁

I had dinner with my two daughters and my wife. Both the pasta carbonara we ordered and the pizza were very good. The service was provided by young and very efficient staff.

We got our order after 1 hour and 45 minutes, after a big fight on the phone.

We were looking for a place in Waalwijk where we could grab a quick bite to eat without resorting to greasy food. Lungo was a perfect fit. We both chose the Pestolini pasta and weren't disappointed. It was a generously filled pasta, well-seasoned, and beautifully balanced. The presentation was also excellent. The young man who served us was very polite and courteous. He more than earned the tip. The only minor drawbacks are that the restaurant doesn't look particularly inviting from the outside (we wondered if it was even open), the restrooms are in serious need of maintenance, and the open kitchen allows some noise to enter the restaurant area. All in all, we were very pleased. The price-quality ratio is ultimately very good.

They have no idea how to handle orders from take away.

The food was actually quite good with good portions, but unfortunately, the rest wasn't great. No beer, Sprite/7-Up, or even coffee. Nothing but internal arguments in the kitchen, which shouldn't happen in an open kitchen. The young guy did his best, but the owners need to do something too. Unfortunately, it was the first and last time. They should start delivering instead of running a restaurant, because we were the only ones there on a Thursday night. Too bad.

We usually order from here online at Thuisbezorgd, but decided to drop by and dine in (early). It was a very nice interior, with the Italian flair handmade painting on the wall. The food came quick and the waiter was ensuring to check on us. We were the only guests, but didn't mind it at all as we know the quality from online. The Calzone is a true perfect dish..however they make it, WOW!! Have not tried pasta or anything else, we usually stay with Pizza

Wrong pizza delivered. Not being able to eat with others. Had to wait 50 minutes for a new one and even had to return the old pizza.

Me: Seriously? You just picked this up from someone else?! Delivery guy: No, no, I mean… this is from the kitchen now. I decided to leave it at that. It was already getting later in the evening. But when I wanted to start on the tiramisu after dinner, it turned out to be -completely- frozen! Unfortunately the last time for me.

After waiting an hour (which was indicated), our pizzas were delivered. One pizza was delivered incorrectly, I called and a new pizza would arrive. After half an hour of not receiving anything, I called again and a man answered the phone who was anything but customer friendly and told me that they were busy. I assume that if you make a mistake, you should be the first to fix it! Finally received the good pizza an hour later. Waited 2 hours for the correct order RIDICULOUS!

Toppers! I ordered a pasta and soon received a call that it was unfortunately no longer available (it was immediately adjusted on the site). I was allowed to place another order and did not have to pay for the extra toppings. Because the new order (without toppings) was cheaper than the other one, we even got our change back. Today I had to wait more than an hour for delivery, which was also indicated when ordering, so okay, but then received a partly wrong order. Called them immediately and they were informed, because another address had already called for incorrect delivery. The pizza I ordered would be immediately remade and delivered immediately, but this took another half hour + the pizza was just cold and the carpaccio was completely brown due to the cooking on the pizza. Of course, my partner has already finished his pizza. The delivery person also asked for the wrong pizza back to be ashamed of.

Every time I order extras like parmesan, I don't get paid extra, but extra. After receiving it, I immediately called to say that the order was not complete. The child girl who answered the phone laughed into the phone - pathetic. It's strangely tacky, but it's no wonder when kids are playing in the kitchen. I don't recommend it.

Unsociable atmosphere, ravioli turned out to be gone. No alcohol was served, food was meh, pizza was tasty. Good portions. The waiter's T-shirt was full of holes.

I recently went to eat at lungo waalwijk. The food was very good and I wouldn't feed it to my dog. The service was also very disinterested and unfriendly, one girl who could not even hold a tray normally and was on her phone all the time behind the counter. Lots of screaming and laughter from the kitchen and the music in the restaurant was very loud. And there were also dirty glasses and cutlery. The ulcer was also hard to find inside, it looked like a run-down whitewashing turk where no one ever enters. Also no parking options. When you walk outside you are knocked off your feet by a scooter delivery person who doesn't even apologize. So not recommended!

Friendly service, flexible chef, simple setting but cozy. And the pasta carbonara and pasta truffle were delicious!! Pasta truffle was well filled and has never been so tasty before!

We dined in one time and the whole restaurant was empty. It also didn’t look very appealing. The food was okay but way too much pasta. Not everyone likes to take a doggy bag home. The ravioli on the other hand was not enough. Staff seemed unexperienced but i’ll give the benefit of the doubt. We ordered pizza once for delivery and that was amazing. Overall it’s 3 stars.

Ordered a pizza tonight via take away at Lungo. It was actually impossible to eat. It was dry and tough... Not fresh in my opinion. Ate half. Had to eat something... I regret that now. I have a stomach ache now. And I actually never have that. Too bad... it was always good food from Lungo...

Ordered 4 pizzas tonight. Arrived faster than expected time,👍. Pizzas with sauce are less so. Too much sauce that overpowers everything. It's a shame that the salmon and other toppings are barely tasteable. Especially no added value. Other pizzas taste great. Thin base and a crispy crust.

Ordered several times from Lungo. Every time the delivery time is extremely long. Yesterday I even almost reached 2 hours (ordered at 6:00 PM, delivered at 7:55 PM). While delivery time was stated at 1 hour. The telephone number is no longer available on Thuisbezorgd or the website (I could find it in the telephone directory, but the phone was hung up). Both pizza foccacia, lasagna and gambas el forno are really delicious!! As a result, we always forget the misery of the long wait. The additional baguette with herb butter that was ordered was again not a success. Baguette is placed in a plastic bag with hot food and due to condensation it has become a sponge that you can simply bend and twist. Herb butter was now oil with herbs. So I had to put bread in the air fryer and put herb butter in the freezer. In short: nothing is done with feedback, the waiting time is extremely long, but the food is super delicious.

One of the tastiest pizza restaurants I have encountered. Calzone, caprese, pasta carbonara o Forbo (delicious) garlic prawns. We were all happy 😋
