We had a six-course meal here. The food was delicious, but I only found the main course portion a bit small. Other portions were fine. The atmosphere is great, and the staff is also great.

Very little for what you pay. The service was fine, but nothing special; they didn't ask if everything was to your liking, etc. The background music made it feel like we were at a house party (not in a good way). The volume was too loud, and the house music ruined the atmosphere.

The food was delicious, and the price-quality ratio was excellent. It's a bit pricey, of course, but compared to other fine dining restaurants that charge more for the same quality, this is a very good alternative. The wine pairing was also perfectly matched to the dishes. Kudos to the sommelier and staff for making this happen!

Not all chefs can create an original, delicious vegan dinner. At Luzt, however, I enjoyed an excellent meal. We were in a group with many different dietary requirements, and the kitchen accommodated them perfectly. Hats off to them.

I would not recommend this restaurant for lunch. I ordered the "12 uurtje", and the quality was very disappointing. It consisted of two large pieces of bread with excessive sauce, a very small piece of salmon, and two small croquettes. The soup was inedible; it was so salty I could only describe it as "salt soup." The lunch was not good at all. Paying €20 for this low-quality meal is far too expensive. We will not be returning.

We had a delicious meal, with a very extensive and delicious menu, including appetizers. Everything was very tasty and varied. The service was friendly and helpful; they responded immediately when you wanted to order something. The restaurant looks neat and clean and has a warm atmosphere!

We went to Luzt on Friday for the Signature 6-course menu. We were given a quiet spot in the corner of the restaurant and our aperitifs followed shortly after. The service was very friendly and provided ample explanation of each dish and the accompanying wine. The dishes arrived at a good pace—not too fast, but not too slow either. We discovered a few surprising flavor combinations. Everything was included: fish, poultry, and meat. Every plate was excellent. Allergies were also taken into account. Luzt is therefore highly recommended for anyone looking for a leisurely meal in Eindhoven.

I opted for the three-course chef's menu, which puts you completely in the hands of the kitchen. In addition to the three courses, you also get two small amuse-bouches, which makes it all the more special. The starter was full of exciting flavors and had a fresh, slightly tart undertone. Personally, I found it a tad on the tart side, but it was certainly an interesting taste experience. The main course, on the other hand, was perfectly balanced: the sauce and side dishes completed the dish and created a rich, full flavor. To finish, I opted for a cheese board instead of the standard dessert. It was absolutely worth it: four unique cheeses, accompanied by delicious garnishes. Not a standard selection, but rather surprising and a little different.

On August 2, 2025, I had a delicious meal with my partner. A beautiful restaurant with hospitable and service-oriented staff. We will definitely be back.

Super mooie zaak! Personeel ook een dikke prima. Ik heb samen met mijn maatje een gezellig tijd gehad bij Luzt. We hebben gekozen voor de 2 gangen lunch inclusief bijbehorende wijnen (60euro). De 1ste gang was matig maar het hoofdgerecht was erg lekker. Wat mij betreft had bij het hoofd gerecht iets meer vlees op het bord gemogen. De wijnen waren redelijk. Ik vond wel dat er opvallend weinig wijn in het glas zat. We hebben er nog naar gevraagd maar dat was de standaard bij Lutz (tot aan onder het logo op het glas), we dachten eerst dat het voor het voorproeven was haha. Er stond een bartender cocktails te maken, volgens mij een fantastische bartender, mijn Negroni ('s) was iig super lekke. We zijn er van 1230uur tot 1700uur geweest en moesten 265 euro afrekenen (ai). Kortom een erg mooie zaak en een fijne stay gekend. Bij de volgende keer ga ik gewoon voor een broodjes carpaccio met drinks of ik ga er een keer lekker dinneren !

Went yesterday again with a friend for the cocktails and bites. I changed my mind for the review. Service deserves 6 stars! So total 15 stars. Was here with a friend last week. Service was very good, all of them had a smile and were polite. They have a different menu for people who wants something more special then the standard burgers and fries of the neighbors. We ordered small bites, which are delicious, but some extra options would be nice. The Negroni was delicious. For sure we will be back for more and hope there are some more bites to select.

We hebben heerlijk gegeten op het prachtige terras. Mooie gerechten, zeer vriendelijke bediening en goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. Enige opmerking: we vonden de wijnen te licht en fris, maar dat is persoonlijk.

It took a while... but after several attempts and several take aways during covid I finally found my way back to Luzt. This time on a random tuesday we just walked in and were allowed to select a table on their roomy outside seating. After receiving our very nice cocktails we took a look at the menu. Everything on the menu sounded tasty, so we choose nothing and opted for the 3 course surprise menu with 3 half glass accompanying wines. It was just a tuesday after all... I must mention at this point that we had been helped by two different people and had very pleasant experience with both of them. Informal, cheerful and fun. We were in a good mood too and felt very welcome and appreciated because of it, joking and having fun with our hosts. A tasty little amuse appeared and we were served our first wine by our third host of the evening, also a very pleasant lady who interacted with us very nicely too. A vinho verde and fish starter which was beautifully presented set the tone, this was going to be a tasty evening. Our main was accompanied by a very good primitivo and obviously the meat dish of the evening. Very tasty and good portions, this dish was also on the a la carte menu I believe. Which is a bit less of surprise but no complaints there as it was one of the best choices in my opinion. Instead of a desert we opted for the cheese and a PX and 10 year old Tawny. Again royal portions of high quality cheeses. One of them locally sourced, two english ones and one from Italy if I recall correctly. Nice mix and some nice snacks to go with the cheese, although we weren't too enthusiastic about the glazed pecans as the grapes and marmalade provided enough sweets to go with the cheese and plain nuts would have been nicer... but now I'm just being excessively critical about an otherwise close to perfect evening. Minor detail, table water was offered to us and refreshed without asking during the whole duration of our stay, which is nice. We remain amazed this place can exist on 'de Markt' between the McDonalds, KFC and Five Guys. The contrast is almost surreal. Sit on de Markt but enjoy great food just like your on Dommelstraat or Kleine Berg. Hopefully my next visit won't take 4 years! Original 4 year old review below. The value for money received at Luzt is insane. We had the two (or three) person lunch platter which was absolutely packed with goodies ranging from oysters and beef to cheesy balls and sliced sausage, and much more. For almost the same price we could of crossed the market square and would been disappointed by a more traditional 'twaalf uurtje'. The waiter from Doyy tipped us about Luzt and we are very happy he did, we'll be back for dinner!

The food was very tasty! Unfortunately, there was a severe shortage of staff. The lady doesn't even look at you, so we didn't have a chance to order more. Our glass had been empty for half an hour. We went to the neighbors, cheers!

We came for the 3-course menu with the wine pairing and had an amazing time! The food is already great in its right, and our experience was elevated by Igor's service.

The staff was not concerned with people on the terrace. We were given frozen cocktails that we didn't get to drink. Comment later and receive the response that these are served fresh. We feel insulted and will never come back here again.

Bitter limon for 3.90 is abnormally expensive. Sit on a terrace more often, but never pay that much for it. Last time I will drink there.

Very nice place. It was a bit noisy last time that we were there. It seems to be quite popular. Good food. Small portions. Fair pricing. Very friendly personnel. Clean toilets. Parking on the street. It is recommended to schedule a table as it can get quite busy.

Absolutely amazing. Had the 4 course tasting menu with wine and was blown away by the quality and value for money. Had the vegetarian option and the amount of work that went into the menu was staggering. Wines were superb too and the staff were very knowledgeable and friendly.

Helaas,.... kan ik hier geen 5 sterren geven. Ik ben vegetariër, en de aanbod was miniem. Mooie, lange beschrijvingen van één vegi voorgerecht. Cannelloni. 17 euro. Letterljik één cannelloni stuk, één hap. VEEL TE WEINIG. Ook weer een mooie lange beschrijving van één vegi hoofdgerecht. Lekker, maar ook geen stoef, vergeet zeker geen bijgerecht te bestellen. Of je gaat met honger van tafel.

Ik ben daar eerste keer met mijn vrouw geweest. Er werken aardige en behulpzame mensen in het restaurant! Heerlijk eten,top service! Wij komen daar zeker nog een keer!

Had the smallest oysters I've seen in my life...It was definitely not worth 5 euro a piece. Gnocchi was too sour, the rest was okie.

Heel leuk restaurant waar je gezellig kunt zitten. Het eten was top en de bediening geweldig. We kregen goede uitleg bij de verschillende gerechten en wijnen.

Al eerder hier gegeten in een andere setting en nu gereserveerd voorafgaande aan een klassiek concert in het muziekgebouw aan de overkant. We waren ruim op tijd en kregen de verzekering dat het geen probleem was, ze zouden er op letten dat we ook ruim op tijd waren voor het concert. Helaas is er in de interne overdracht wat misgegaan, want een uur voor tijd begonnen we aan de tweede gang van de vier, dus toen we dat aan de bediening aangaven brak er een lichte paniek uit ( we waren niet de enige tafel bij wie dit speelde) De manager nam uitgebreid de tijd om zich te verontschuldigen en om voor een passende oplossing te zorgen, waarbij we mochten meedenken hoe dit te compenseren. Aangezien het eten en drinken werkelijk voortreffelijk is, was de keuze snel gemaakt om nog een keer terug te komen voor een nieuwe maaltijd zonder enige stress of tijdsdruk. De kwaliteit van het eten maakte bijna alles goed, en de professionele reactie van het management deed de rest, vandaar toch de 5 sterrenbeoordeling. Het concert na afloop was trouwens ook zeer de moeite waard en dat maakte de avond nagenoeg perfect. We kijken nu al uit naar de herkansing!

Gisteren vierden wij mijn verjaardag bij Luzt. De sfeer was geweldig, de bediening uitstekend en het eten fabuleus. Alle gasten raakten er niet over uitgepraat: wat een mooie verborgen parel aan de Markt in Eindhoven. Nogmaals onze complimenten aan Jesse en de rest van de crew!

Had delicious meals except for the aloe vera jelly with the pastry, I tasted a little with a teaspoon but I still have stomach problems. Everything else was tasty. Hence 3 stars instead of 4. Staff friendly and helpful looking at the overall experience, I just can't explain why my drinks were forgotten twice.

Genussvolle kulinarische Reise mit dem Chef‘s Menü. Das Ambiente, der Service, die Präsentation und die Qualität der Gerichte - da stimmt einfach alles! Ein Platz für Feinschmecker. Das Restaurant hat mit sicherheit das Niveau eines Michelin Stern Restaurants mit sehr gutem Preis/Leistung Verhältnis.

Super lekker, verrassend, vooral de espuma met limoncello, Prosecco en wodka. Vorige week gaan eten voor meer geld en niet half zo lekker. Afspraak om klaar te zijn tegen half acht. Dat is de mensen gelukt zodat we op een heel goede plaats konden genieten van Rick en band in de Effenaar...

Drinks were great, however the service was really and I mean really slow. We waited at least half an hour for some drinks we ordered.

After submitting a complaint, it was taken very seriously by the manager and employees. We felt heard. We look back on a very positive compensation. The food was delicious and we once again had the service that we know from Luzt and that is why we would love to come back! The little one was also well taken care of and a lot of attention was paid to him. Thank you!

Absolutamente fabuloso almuerzo de domingo en Luzt! Está en la plaza Markt, así que un entorno encantador y ofrecen un almuerzo de 2 platos por 39 €. 50 . Puedes elegir entre entrante y principal o principal y postre, y es la elección del chef. Tenía salmón curado de remolacha con salsa de remolacha, y pato con salsa de naranja con un lado de puré de apio. Me dijeron que el principal no venía con un lado así que añadí patatas fritas por 5 € , pero el pato sí tenía un pequeño lado con él, así que depende de lo hambriento que tengas. El servicio fue cálido, amable y atento. Con dos vasos de rose prosecco, el total fue de 60€. ¡Un valor real por lo que obtienes! Sin duda volveré cuando en Eindhoven!

Great experience. My choice was Chefs menu-3 course and it was fantastic (cured salmon with beetroot chips/sauce with mushrooms for entree, a wonderful duck breast with sprinkled orange zest, turnip puree and a delightful red wine dressing for main course finished with a matcha cake with white chocolate ganache topped with caramelized pistachio and with some aloe vera puree as a dessert.) Everything was paired with a red wine from Valpolicella Ripasso Classico wich was a perfect choice. The best restaurant in Eindhoven!

Atmosphere top. Food tasty. But staff?! Dramatic! Unfriendly and unprofessional. Keep asking for my fries that they forgot to serve with my main course. After asking twice, I finally got it, but by then my food was long gone. After a long wait, I finally want to eat my fries, but then the waitress starts clearing my plate and cutlery? Then suddenly they are quick with the service... I want to go and pay. She puts the PIN machine on the table (without setting it up) and walks over without saying anything! I should have actually walked in then because apparently you don't want me to pay! Because how do I know how something like that works?! Never come back here again and for the reader: don't go here! save your money and time in restaurants that pay attention to their guests. Incredibly bad!

Had Christmas lunch here last Christmas. Those were nice hallways. I thought the fish was delicious although it was not perfectly cut because I pulled off a bit of the skin. I didn't like the main course, duck, but that was mainly because it was between raw and medium. Just bake that for me (but that wasn't requested)! All in all we had a nice lunch with a suitable cocktail. If a cocktail is not on the menu, it can be ordered for €15. My dining companion had to pay more than €15, so that's a bit strange.

We had a wonderful experience enjoying the 6-course signature menu. The diversity of the dishes was fantastic, though some could have used a little more attention to detail in their presentation (main course). The service was very friendly and attentive. I opted for the half glass wine pairing, which included generously filled glasses that complemented the courses beautifully. My partner isn’t a big fan of wine, but he was able to select different beers that suited his taste to pair with the dishes, which was a nice touch. Overall, it was a delightful evening, and we truly appreciated the thoughtfulness of the experience.

Nice place, the ordered food never arrived, 45 minutes of waiting only to find out that the food had not been prepared after two different waiters had come to take the order. Having pointed out the mistake, they almost didn't apologize, the response? If you are in a hurry you can pay and go. Dirty table and two beers 18 euros. Terrible!!

An experience! The food was excellent, surprisingly good. The service was top notch, provided explanations about the dishes that were served, friendly and attentive. Always saw quite immediately when a drink was finished ;). Also very nicely decorated, nice atmosphere :-).

We initially wanted to come here for something to eat, but because there was no place available in a completely empty place, we decided to just have a drink. After an amazing Christmas dinner last year, we decided to eat at Luzt again on Saturday. What a mockery. I ordered a surprise three-course meal without meat and received 3 mealy, dry falafel balls as a main course. After sending it back to the kitchen, I got a new main course: mashed potatoes with a baked potato. The starter was good, but very little, the dessert was reasonable. Costs for this 3 course menu: € 47. By the way, it is a nice place and the staff is super friendly.

What rude service. After waiting 15 minutes to order drinks we were sent away in a bizarrely unpleasant manner. Never again. Luzt's response twists the story. We never indicated that we thought we could get a drink faster. We waited for 15 minutes and kindly asked if we could order something. In fact... the order had already been taken. The wait time wasn't the problem. It's the way we were treated. I hope you can accept the truth that this should not have happened and help the person who sent us away so that he can respond normally in the future. It's a shame that you don't respond honestly to a negative review that is actually the truth.

Quite a good place with a very good atmosphere and food quality. The food and the service is exceptional. Me and my wife and the vegetarian and vegan 5 course chef’s menu with were delicious. The prices are on the higher end but it is worth it. Definitely can recommend. One suggestion would be to change the menu more often.
