Good cocktails. But I really miss the Singapore Sling.

Dining at Macamba always guarantees top-notch dining! Innovative, delicious dishes, often with a new menu, and flavors and combinations that are simply stunning. The service is smooth, attentive, and genuinely hospitable, and they know the dishes on the menu intimately. Dietary requirements are strictly and creatively accommodated. Macamba is simply "always good" and genuinely surprising every time. It's now twice as big and has a completely new menu. Well-designed seating areas offer both space and privacy. The reservation system is very user-friendly and fast. Prices are slightly higher, and you get more than your money's worth. Ultimately, Macamba becomes a kind of benchmark the next time you eat somewhere new: "Was it as good as Macamba...?" I already know the answer!

Super good restaurant. Decor is so nice and cozy. The cocktails are super tasty, lots of choice and original in nice glasses. Also really with a good shot of liquor in it. Steak and tuna tartare amazingly tasty Both had the rib-eye and top!! Really amazingly good. Dessert also completely delicious. Service always friendly and fast, work really hard. A favorite of ours!!

Always a party. Top restaurant, best in Doetinchem. Everything is perfect: the atmosphere, the food, the service. Recommended!

Very noisy room. Long wait for the food and the service was selective in who they paid attention to. The taste of the food itself was good, but the meat of the Lomo Saltado (Tenderloin Tips) dish was tasty, but whole pieces were unedible because they were so tough. The glass of wine was hardly worth anything for so little, but was charged in full. In short, the price/quality is simply bad. Not worth repeating.

Cozy tent, good staff and delicious food. Fairly pricey for what you get, but very tasty. Food came a bit quickly, but you can sit comfortably there.

We both had three main courses and a dessert. The flavors were all very good and refined. The dishes were also beautifully presented on lovely plates of various kinds. We did find the bisque and the sauce with the gnocchi rather salty, and the piranha could have had a bit more meat and a bit less sauce. The service also took quite a while. For three courses and a dessert, we sat from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM. All in all, highly recommended :)

Tonight we had dinner here for the 2nd time. Incredible flavors and surprises in the dishes!! The food is perfect! The service is very professional and sweet! This is our favorite!

What a great team. We visited this lovely place in the Grutstraat in Doetinchem on the second day of Christmas. The ladies in the service had everything neat and tidy. The wines and dishes arrived at the table at the right pace. Plenty of cosiness and bustle around the lovely bar. The kitchen is also running smoothly. More than worth it to enjoy an evening here.

The service is extremely long, we waited 20 minutes for each drink, not counting how long we had to wait for the staff to inquire about us. Not only that, I ordered a cocktail but they brought me a completely different one "because the bartender likes this one too"😕 That's why I had to wait a very long time before I got the one I wanted

We had a delicious meal. Restaurant was not necessarily on our list, but a nice November Streetfood promotion easily convinced us. We were so surprised by the delicious dishes, the friendly service and the warm interior.

Delicious food, opted for the surprise menu which indeed surprised every course. Unique combinations and special ingredients, service was excellent and it was extra good that lactose intolerance was also carefully taken into account.

Last Friday we had a delicious meal at Macamba. We opted for the chef's menu. These were 5 delicious dishes with matching wines. The service was particularly good and friendly. They were also able to explain the dishes and wines well. I can recommend this restaurant to everyone, certainly one of the better ones in Doetinchem!!

Little gem of a place had fajitas, light them on the table which is a nice touch, I had the beef, delicious.

I went there with my fiance and my mother.. the only thing I noticed .. was not alot of veggie options in the menu ... that I found sad.. since I'm vegetarian.. for the test very nice place ..and the service is also good!

During King's Day they had a stand for beer, very unfriendly staff. Not enthusiastic and not customer friendly. Won't get my beer here again.

Good service, nice ambiance and atmosphere. starter sushi, main course tenderloin really great, but unfortunately missed the salad/vegetables, I thought the dessert was a bit less flan, but several other dishes looked good, went with 4 people last Saturday. But definitely recommended if you are in (near) Doetinchem.

Incredibly beautiful restaurant and bar, super nice atmosphere and perfect service. Food great. BUT please get that pathetic bird out of that cage and out of the restaurant. That's really not possible. Really terrible… please.

At Macamba you really enjoy an evening out! The hospitality, the atmosphere and the beautiful, colorful, warm interior; it's all right! Delicious cocktails and matching wines (the choice of which we left to the hostess) and delicious, original dishes!

Amazing experience. The decor, loudness of the music, staff, the delicious food (5-course surprise menu), changing the cutlery with every course, the peace and quiet to enjoy, the open kitchen with friendly chefs, real towels in the toilets. And so on, and so on... This is hospitality. Top.

Wow, this has to be hands down one of the best food experiences I’ve had in The Netherlands. We got the surprise menu and every dish was beautifully presented and equally delicious. I would give this restaurant 6 stars if I could. Highly recommend and will be eating here again as soon as I am back in Doetinchem.

First time here because of my father who lives here. He is already very familiar with this restaurant. Even during Christmas Eve, excellent service, homely atmosphere and delicious food. If you are in Doetinchem and you want interesting cuisine. Visit this!

Super leuk restaurant, heerlijk eten en goede, gezellige bediening. Het verrassingsmenu is een echte aanrader, ze maken er echt een belevenis van. Voor mensen met lactose intolerantie ook echt super, je krijgt zelfs een uitgebreid toetje niet alleen maar sorbet ijs. Complimenten voor de chef! Ook voor de bediening, ze zijn altijd gezellig, professioneel en weten echt waar ze het over hebben. Als we na doetinchem gaan uiteten komen we hier!

Heerlijke knusse en sfeervolle eetgelegenheid, waar het personeel duidelijk de tijd en ruimte neemt om gasten van de beste service te voorzien! Toiletten zijn gedeeld en bij de kraantjes voorzien van handdoekjes in plaats van een föhn of papier, chapeau voor de duurzaamheid en tolerantie! Al met al, zeker een aanrader!

Als je echt n keer wat anders wil moet je hier n keer naartoe gaan. Gerechten die je nooit eerder hebt geproefd. Super lekker! Goede sfeer en gezellige vogel ….Coco!

We kwamen naar Doetinchem voor het optreden van Tineke Schouten. Hotelletje geboekt en op goed geluk een restaurant binnen gelopen. Wat een verrassing! Vriendelijk personeel, tongstrelend eten en is er geen tijd voor het toetje? Kom na de voorstelling maar terug, zorgen we er dan voor. De barman verzorgde nog een uitstekende cocktail en wij gingen heel gezellig weer naar ons hotel. Aanrader!

Mooie entourage en een prettige sfeer. Personeel boven de 25jr is goed, daaronder wat passief. Eten was verrassend en lekker.

Garderobe is een ramp, veel te kleine ruimte.

Ik heb veel cocktails in mijn leven gedronken en dit zijn echt met afstand de beste cocktails die ik OOIT in Nederland heb gedronken. De barman weet duidelijk wat hij doet. Ik vond in Doetinchem geen hol te beleven, maar voor deze cocktail man kom ik absoluut terug! Neem degene met Mango, dat was de topper. Maar alle anderen zijn eigenlijk ook erg lekker. Personeel ook erg vriendelijk!

Eten erg goed, leuke sfeer, de juiste muziek en goede/nette bediening. Ik ga vaak uit eten en deze zaak is eindelijk weer eens een uitblinker. Top

Geweldige plek, doordat de kaart veel ongewone dingen bevat hebben we gekozen voor het ‘share’ menu met de tafel en dat is echt een aanrader! Allemaal heerlijke gerechten, en ruim voldoende porties. Ook de snelheid waar de 3 gangen mee kwamen waren perfect. Heerlijke avond in een super gezellige sfeer. Ps vergeet de cocktails niet, echt een aanrader.

Toller Laden, klasse Essen, klasse Service. Mit vier Personen fast vierhundert Euro verfressen, und es war jeden Cent wert! Klare Empfehlung!!!

Beste restaurant van de streek als je eens iets nieuws wil proeven! Wisselend verrassingsmenu, altijd heerlijk smaakvol klaargemaakt, mooi opgediend en fantastische service - heel vriendelijk en oplettend. Wij komen hier regelmatig omdat het zo goed is.
