What a surprisingly nice little spot. Friendly staff and delicious snacks. It's nice to see that the colleagues seem to have a good time together. This also radiates to the customers.

Super fun concept! The interior of the boat is really stylish. The food is exceptionally delicious, and even the kids have been taken into account. A playground, some coloring? Or even a game at the table? No problem! Highly recommended!

A somewhat contradictory review... The whole picture is correct. Good food. We were helped by the owner and she is just a wonderfully crazy woman 😉 Service was good. The atmosphere is also good. But... €15.50 for a veggie burger (beyond meat... so great) without fries or anything on the side... that is quite high... especially with the amount of competition in the city center... Worth repeating? For the food + For the service + For the atmosphere + For the prices -

By chance we ended up at you. What a nice location and what tasty snacks. Shared dining is always good! Delicious food, good service and a nice atmosphere. Too bad we don't live nearby, otherwise we would definitely come more often.

One of the nicest and most beautiful places to drink a cup of coffee or something else in Doetinchem. From the deck of the ship you have a beautiful view of the city and the blue bridge. You already feel like you're on holiday.

Had a wonderful evening. Everything tastes fresh and super delicious! The portions are like intermediate courses, perfect for trying everything. But for the price it is on the small side, I don't eat much and it wasn't full. The quality is really great, but still a bit too expensive for me. Service is very nice and very friendly. The atmosphere is great, nicely decorated, you can sit outside in a relaxed, open atmosphere. Games included, right at the campsite! Drinks sometimes take a bit long and are not matched to the food, which could be improved. Also very progressive and thinking about the environment. Good asset in Doetinchem! All in all a good experience, with some areas for improvement. Keep it going😊 Update: This time the three of us opted for the surprise menu and it included all kinds of delicious dishes. The table of two people next to us also had that, these were the same dishes, but also almost the same size portions. We therefore think the €32.50 p.p. for the tasting is very expensive. We also get sweet potato fries as part of a 'course', which you would rather expect as a side dish. All in all, the surprise menu costs a lot more and you are better off choosing things yourself. The wine could also be served more, with a price of no less than €7.50, we were disappointed with the quantity and therefore did not order another… But there is no arguing about the food itself, everything was tasty, well prepared and beautifully presented. The service is friendly and it is a casual, relaxed place. It's not super fast, which is nice if you set your mind to it. It is a nice place to go, although the service could pay a little more attention to each table. You don't always feel seen and have to beckon a lot, but that may be different at other times.

MaMa's is truly a lasting asset to Doetinchem. The boat has been redecorated inside and has become even more fun. The terrace outside when the weather is nice really has a holiday/festival atmosphere and invites you to bare toes in the sand.

Had a super fun evening in an original, casual setting. Nice, spontaneous staff, tasty food.

Together with my brother and father we are away for a weekend in this beautiful area. After a fantastic day, with fantastic encounters, we were allowed to eat in this fantastic restaurant! It is already cool that it is located in a beautifully decorated old freight ship. Upon entering there was a cozy and cheerful atmosphere from a team of enthusiastic employees in the semi-open 'galley', a good introduction! In addition to the cozy atmosphere throughout the ship, the food was also of fantastic quality: original dishes, all of which tasted great. Nice that they are all smaller intermediate dishes so that you can all share and taste everything! Even the cheeseburger is cut into pieces (on request)! The number of dishes on the menu is limited, but not too limited and ensures that what they offer is really very good. We also ordered some things from the drinks menu, which is not always 'allowed' or possible. The waitress helped us fantastically all evening with a big smile and made the evening complete, so Ela: thank you on behalf of the three cheerful men from last weekend at one of your tables!

The soup was so delicious! And staff is welcoming and friendly! And the brownies are so delicious!

MaMa's is a great hip spot where you can eat and drink well. The atmosphere is pleasant and the staff is friendly and alert. The food - street food concept - certainly does not detract from this either; I went for the bao with pulled oyster mushroom and it was delicious! Also nice to combine different lunch dishes. We will be back!

Very special place! The food was delicious, the service was really friendly and the location was perfect - even for families with (small) children. There is a special, small playground outside. We enjoyed it very much.

Delicious food and special to dine on a ship!

My ribeye was returned from the menu three times because the meat was cold. The service kept insisting that the temperature was as it should have been served. On the menu you can only get sweet potato fries, regular fries or fried potatoes are not possible. I think it's pretty bad and I won't eat there again. And I haven't even mentioned the price yet

Delicious food on a boat. Beautiful atmosphere and friendly people, there is a good atmosphere. Definitely worth it in combination with the theater promotion. Recommended for everyone.

Although I like the concept, the food was disappointing. I did like the flavor of the satay served with the mushrooms but the mushrooms itself lacked flavor and texture. The pita didn’t taste fresh, the cauliflower lacked a lot of flavor too which again seemed only flavored by the sauce. Really I can only recommend the Flammkuchen with Gorgonzola.

First the food: we had a drink and lunch here with a large group. I ordered a hamburger myself. It took quite a while for lunch to be served. The hamburger itself was very tasty (and surprising), but very small. You might expect that lunch won't leave an average eater hungry, but that certainly happened with this (quite pricey) burger. We had also booked an activity there (Olde Iesel expedition), during a break we were able to have a drink. But at the end of the break the drinks were far from ready. The service was not very fast all day, but it was very slow. Due to the slowness of the service, our activity was shortened. I am not familiar with the concept of Expedition Robinson, but from the other people in my group I understood that Expedition Olde Iesel did not have much to do with it.

Have been for lunch and dinner a number of times, always a tasty treat. The Easter brunch was also fantastic!

HOTTEST and tastiest latte in Doetinchem by far! And a super cozy ambiance: an attractive, intimate inland vessel. Parking in front of the door: it doesn't get any better or more unique in Doetinchem. But oh my God, that latte is FINALLY hot!!!! Toppers those moms. Tip: Marketing campaign, open at 10 a.m. and Bob's your uncle. :-)

Delicious food in a nice atmosphere, at the bottom of a boat. Very friendly staff and a surprising menu with a wide variety of dishes. We ordered a surprise menu. Delicious soup and 2 x 2 dishes We were able to take our time. If we may make a comment, it is that the dishes were all tasty, but there was no real consistency. For example, rendang and a fish curry. Prices are reasonable and, we think this is important, no expense has been spared on purchasing: Orangina, Gulpener, Pellegrino. Slightly more expensive but definitely better.

We have been here for the 3rd time now and it has been great every time. Cozy atmosphere, always friendly service, and above all delicious food! We will definitely go more often.

Had a very unpleasant experience, even antisocial and not expected from the owner and daughter, we as regular customers will never return after this experience. Among other things, we ordered 2 cheesecakes (in the afternoon), it was fairly quiet in the boat and there were a few people outside. When we were served the cheesecakes, among other things, we said to each other, this can't be true, can it? Could it be due to inflation? An extremely thin cake at 6 euros each, served very plain. At home we said to each other, the cake (1 piece) has been cut in half and presented as 2 pastries, so we pay 6 euros twice, while it is 1 pastry (it's almost funny) By chance we had a photo of the exact same order (cakes) from them, and guess what? Twice as big. I went back the same day, the owner and daughter soon had to admit that they had cut the pastry in half, they also admitted that they had not made any demands (apparently it is standard practice)…..they clearly felt caught, and came up with the excuse that they had already discussed among themselves that this was not possible... and that the cause was the crowds, while there was no crowds at all. As regular customers, we simply found this disrespectful, that they treated us like this with dry eyes, really disrespectful and antisocial... as a real excuse, if they had meant it they would have to say, so to speak: we are so ashamed, the invoice is ours, but even there we had no feeling for the situation. (refunded money for 1 pastry) PS, it's not about money, it's about deception. It should be clear, we will never come there again and are extremely disappointed in the petty deception (what are we talking about, cutting a cake in half, and charging twice)..and not really apologizing, but with a lame excuse that it was busy, you could have just said, sorry, we only have 1 cheesecake left or we have alternatives.

3 times 5 stars, because the menu is very tasty, tosti rendang is phenomenal! Delicious beers, service is always very good. Think along with allergies. They are very attentive and smooth. The atmosphere is particularly beautiful, the restaurant is located in an inland vessel, formerly a pancake boat. Nicely decorated, ideal place for us to have a quiet lunch. We will spend a little more money, but we think it is worth it here. The pub quiz is also recommended here!

The offered soup of the day turned out to be empty, the ordered corn wolf became a bock beer and the Bavette was not successful, and all with the same guest at our table... We were cheerful and still had a nice evening in a very original setting, but a pity it was.

The food is pretty good, nothing really special. The atmosphere is perfect, that kinda beachy feel without being on the beach where you just sit, have a drink and play a game (they have a couple games there like Carcassonne, rummy and ticket to ride). Staff is very polite. Do note that the food portions are small so you'll have to order multiple dishes to get a complete meal out of it.

Wat een leuke tent! Heerlijk hier met vrienden 6 uur buiten op het terras doorgebracht onder het genot van een drankje en hun smakelijke gerechtjes. Vakantiesfeer op en top als het lekker warm weer is. Genoten.

Hippe leuke tent! Lekker gegeten! Wij vonden het, ondanks dat het lekker was, wel wat prijzig, maar ik zou mensen wel aanraden om er een keer te gaan eten als je in de buurt bent:).

Harstikke leuke plek met lekker eten en leuk personeel.

10 juli hier gegeten. Was een heerlijk zomeravond je. Concept van streetfood gerechten en een mooie keuze aan bieren en wijnen bevalt me prima. Moest af en toe te lang wachten om geholpen te worden. En nadeel is het zitten op bistro stoeltje of bierbank. En dan ook nog op schuin dek is niet heel comfortabel. Maar we zullen zeker terugkomen voor het heerlijke share dining concept.

Diegene die de brunch had geregeld heeft het helemaal fout geregeld. (Niet jullie fout) Het was heel gezellig en het soepje was heerlijk. We komen een keer met z n tweeën bij jullie

Not many eateries offer a choice of tables on sand or on a boat moored on a river ... but Mama's does. AND it has a 'Street food' menu with superb freshly prepared meals full of unusual vegetables and tasty soups. We were too full to try the desserts which we only saw from a distance. It's a funky and fun place to eat!

Lekker op het terras gegeten, met erg lekkere Italiaanse wijn. Tot de volgende keer!

Dit voormalige Pannenkoekenschip is een prachtige locatie om te eten. Zowel buiten als in het schip is het erg sfeervol. De bediening en service is erg goed. Het eten was uitstekend, meerdere verschillende gerechten gehad en allemaal erg lekker! Zeker de moeite waard om in of bij dit schip langs de Bleek een gezellig hapje te eten met wat te drinken.

Niet tevreden, ik vond de hoeveelheid veel te weinig en enorm lange wachttijden. Na de 3e gang (na 3 uur!!) meteen afgerekend en gegaan. Veel te duur voor de hoeveelheid die je kreeg. De kwaliteit van het eten was wel erg goed, moet ik zeggen. Maar ik kom er niet meer terug.

Heerlijk gegeten, verassing menu gekozen. Gerechten van over de hele wereld en ze passen heel goed bij elkaar. Vriendelijke bediening, erg leuke sfeer. Hier ga ik vaker terugkomen

Een van de lekkerste vega burgers die ik heb gehad! Een must-visit!"
