This was my second time dining here. Everything was perfect again. A friendly welcome. Plenty of time to choose the food. Pleasant and professional service. You're truly treated like a guest. An extensive menu at a good price. The dishes were delicious. I started with onion soup, very well filled with onion and cheese, almost a full meal. Then I had salmon on a bed of sauerkraut. Delicious and a unique flavor combination. I finished with a delicious dessert of whipped egg whites with vanilla and caramel sauce. I'm already looking forward to eating here again. The ambiance and the food were delicious. Nothing to complain about. If I may give one tip to top it all off, it would be to have more interaction with the guests as waiters. Currently, it was just the bare minimum: taking orders for food and drinks and serving food. So, not just doing your job. Now it was "I have a job, and that's bringing drinks to the table." The cheese board wasn't explained as to which cheese it was. It's truly well-intentioned, to enhance the experience.

The plates were beautifully presented, the food was delicious and freshly prepared, and the wine was wonderful. The only minor complaint we could find was the acoustics—a bit too loud. Last Tuesday, May 8th, we dined with you. This was our first time, during our vacation in Lottum. We live in Breskens, Zeeland Flanders. What a fantastic introduction, and yes, there's still a place where you feel welcome and like a guest. The welcome, the respectful treatment, the personal interest... everything delivered in the right measure and with a pleasant atmosphere. And then, of course, the dishes. A beautifully varied menu. This, too, is perfectly balanced. And when the dishes on the plates live up to the hopeful expectations the menu creates, enjoyed in an atmospheric setting, the finishing touch is complete. In short: fantastic!! Our sincere thanks and compliments!! We hope to visit Madame Georgette again. René and Jacob Breskens

We dined here yesterday for my birthday. The welcome, as always, was extremely friendly and spoke French 😄 The table we reserved for four was festively decorated. It was so much fun; it immediately felt like it was my birthday. French chansons were playing in the background, which was also lovely. The food was delicious and well-prepared. When they served dessert, the icing on the cake was a birthday song, a large (fake) cake with a fountain fire inside. Truly wonderful, so many lovely details. There was also a beret, a fan in the French colors, and a small bottle of wine. In short, fantastic!

Nicole, Ivo and their team are catering animals. Every trained eye sees this, including myself. The flexibility of serving with just 3 servers in a packed restaurant (70 to 80 seats on a normal weekday) with a never-ending smile on their face is enviable. Constantly attentive. A menu full of French icons from which everyone can choose something tasty. The pork liver was phenomenal. I can't not choose that if it's on a menu. There's a lot to mess up, but this was the best I've ever had. The starter (escargots) and dessert (light choux with cherries and yellow cream) are safe dishes but no less than just right and delicious. My three table companions also said they enjoyed their dishes; Oysters, Lobster Soup, Cod Fillet, Fromages all scored excellently. A delicious Pinot Gris made the introduction a joy. Mme Georgette is an asset to the region. Highly recommended. And it is therefore not surprising that in their first year they won the public award for the Finest French Restaurant in the Netherlands. I think reservations are necessary, given the turnout on this normal Wednesday (= full). Go see that!

How wonderful, Venlo is again for a little bit of French! Of course, these were bad times when Emperor Napoleon made his inspection visit here, but those days are over, and Georgette has clearly selected the good things for us: Delicious traditional French dishes, in a French ambiance, and where the staff even speaks French. And then, to top it all off, a French-style birthday ceremony with anniversary song and all... Don't worry, if you don't want all that attention, that's possible too. There are also more common dishes and they also speak Dutch, but the true Francophile will feel completely at home here. Great place, with very accessible prices!

What a pleasure to be a guest here. We were warmly welcomed here and were able to enjoy an evening of hospitality. We had 2 starters, main course, dessert and 2 nightcaps. Everything was a feast for the eyes and also tantalizing. What was also striking were the well-filled glasses and generous portions. I can REALLY say that Madame Georgette is currently the BEST restaurant in Venlo for us.
