We waited a long time, and when the food finally arrived, there were no potatoes. I asked about it, and he said the restaurant was very busy and that he would bring them. Unfortunately, it only deserves one star.

Great place! You don't often find such authentic food in the Netherlands anymore. Delicious food and great service.

Very impressive delicious Turkish restaurant. Had a lot of fun and very respectful/ fun service. We ordered 2 mix grilled and one bidet (veg and meat bread). For desert we ordered milk/caramel cake and Turkish tea. Hope that helps when you order from them.

We come here at least three times a month for a delicious breakfast. The people are very friendly and the price-quality ratio is excellent. Highly recommended; you almost feel like you're in a different world.

Ordered künefe. It wasn't sweet and there wasn't any cheese in the künefe either. Very poor quality. I wouldn't recommend it.

Mahmud Efendi is a lovely Turkish restaurant in the heart of the Beverwijk Bazaar. My family and I were warmly welcomed here early in the afternoon by the owner and staff. The restaurant immediately evokes an oriental atmosphere, with a lovely ambiance. The pastries are freshly prepared and served straight from the oven. The items in the display case looked fresh and delicious. The tea was truly "delicious" in Turkish style, and the baklava was a culinary delight, "scrumptious." In short, we enjoyed a delicious lunch. Highly recommended. Teşekkür ederim. Hoşça kal.

As I like Turkish cuisine so much I decided to visit this restaurant with brand name. But was very disappointed in the end. - long time waiting. - food came cold - small portion (one spoon of bulgur, few pieces of french fries, really? And they can it menu it’s not menu it’s small mix). Salad is just onion and parsley that’s it! - kunefe desert isn’t good at all. Not like original recipe, very bad. Not even sweet enough as it should be. - chairs are not comfortable. According to long time waiting it’s very hard to sit long on them. - some waiters don’t speak English. - overpriced. I do NOT RECOMMEND this place!!!

I want to thank this place; I've reached a new milestone in my life. The worst breakfast ever! I think this place is vegetarian, because for €15 per person you get cucumber/tomato/a bit of cheese and an egg. Nothing is warm, everything is cold. I think you'd be better off having breakfast at Albert Heijn. It's a very strange place, I've never had such a bad meal. It's not even worth €4, honestly.

Well after a long wait our tea and drink arrived I sent it back and why in front of my eyes did they put the Turkish tea back in the teapot was from another customer well I also ordered gozleme which also did not arrive people who are with more apparently get priority my gozleme did not arrive and will not come I do not recommend it it is not tasty horrible service

Super tasty food and what a nice decoration this place has! We will definitely come back!!!

Beautiful lamps decoration, good service, fast service, tasty food (especially the lamb durum kebab!!), everything is good here, 5 stars!!!

Food inedible and overpriced. Paid 16 euros for this börek with tea.
