Checked if chicken satay could be found in Wijk aan Zee. This location came up first. Checked the reviews. And they are accurate. I have eaten chicken satay often, but here... really very good and tasty. Affordable. 3 chicken satay skewers. Fries and salad. Very nice and friendly staff. I will definitely come back here (a few) more times.

We both had a lamb chop platter here today. Deliciously prepared, very freshly grilled. Fries well fried in fresh oil. Salad and sauces on the side. Delicious and very reasonably priced. We can recommend this restaurant with its very friendly service to everyone!

We ate there with 10 people. Cozy shawarma place with friendly staff. The quality is okay and what you can expect. The sauces were from Lidl, so not really authentic.

Unassuming from the outside, but the menu is fantastic. Lamb and vine leaves stuffed with rice are just a couple of the dishes on offer. A must-visit for anyone in Wijk aan Zee! 👍😊

Delicious food at a friendly price.

The portions were quite small for the price, some of the chicken wasn't quite hot, and a 0.5l plastic bottle for €5 is overpriced. Service was good.

Unfortunately, we can't pass on the many positive reviews. Two out of four meals were ordered incorrectly; we kept the food but were somewhat disappointed with the taste.

A wonderful, unassuming restaurant. The portion size is unbeatable for the price in this place. A big plus is the sauces served right at your table – a great selection, and you can always add more yourself :)

It has more of a pub feel, but the food was delicious. We had nuggets, schnitzel, and Turkish pizza instead of lamb with chicken. The two gentlemen welcomed us warmly as guests, and we felt very comfortable. We left full and satisfied.

The food is absolutely fantastic! It looks a bit unassuming from the outside, but the food is very good. The value for money is unbeatable for the place. A soft drink (0.25l) for €2.50! Two main courses and two drinks for €36.00. What's also worth mentioning is that you get sauces brought to your table so you can choose what you want. My meal came with a hot sauce, which was really hot. There was also a very tasty garlic sauce and mayonnaise. They also offer tomato or spicy ketchup upon request. All in all, highly recommended. The staff even speak some German, which made communication easy.

Highly recommended! We ordered chicken schnitzel and the Adana platter, all with fries and salad on the side. Everything was delicious. The staff was very friendly. Extras included garlic sauce, mayonnaise, and chili sauce. The price/performance ratio was good.

You do need to check your bill carefully. In our case, they overcharged us, but this was probably because it wasn't the person who served us who was paying, but an old, gray-haired man.

Friendly service. Dishes are simple but certainly tasty. Soda from bottles I think, hardly any fizz. Inside more of a local pub than a restaurant. A few regulars at the bar. We were glad we could sit on the terrace.

Efes is a very cozy bar restaurant. Delicious food. Super sweet service. Everything is possible.. Chicken shoarma special is our favorite. Mmmm. We'll go there again soon. We come from Wormer. Restaurant gets a big 10 from me...

We had a quick bite to eat here on the terrace. The quality of the food suits a shawarma shop. Tasty shawarma, reasonable satay with tasty fries and a very simple pile of salad. The healthy sandwiches were very simple; a sliced ​​shawarma roll with some greens, a slice of tomato and melted cheese on top. The beers were cold and the coke old and without a shot, probably leftovers from the day before.

It was an honestly delicious restaurant visit. Good prices, friendly service, simple atmosphere but also outdoor seating...We would come again!

Lekker eten, bijzonder vriendelijke medewerkers, en een gezellig plekje. Niet de eerste keer dat we hier waren, en ook niet de laatste.

Vriendelijke bediening en heerlijk gegeten.

Wij zijn het eens dat de eigenaar vriendelijk is en het meisje wat bediende ook. Alleen jammer dat wij qua eten een mindere ervaring hadden. De lamsshoarma smaakte niet naar lamsshoarma , had ook geen shoarmakruiden erop. De kipshoarma was niet fijngesneden, was meer kipreepjes met een smaakje, ook hier geen shoarmakruiden. De knoflooksaus was zuur, heeft waarschijnlijk te lang buiten de koeling gestaan. En ons bestek was nog vies. Eén placemat ook daar zat nog gedroogde rode saus op van een andere klant. Wij zeiden er iets van tegen elkaar, meisje hoorde het, reageerde er niet op. Jammer...

Aardige bediening/eigenaar zoals eerder in een review aangegeven is het een soort bruin café annex shoarma zaak het geen we geweten hebben een groep vaste klanten die daar behoorlijk luidruchtig hun biertje aan het nuttige waren. het eten shoarma schotel speciaal was redelijk tot goed te noemen, de knoflooksaus leek wel over de datum dit was minder.

Wir waren außerhalb der Saison hier und verständlicher Weise am frühen Nachmittag die einzigen Mittagsgäste. Der Inhaber war sehr freundlich und hat uns ein phänomenales Mittag zubereitet. Das Efes empfehlen wir zu 100%. Besonders der Feta ist ein kleiner sahniger Traum.

Hebben de dingen niet die je wilt bestellen.

Geen grote kaart, keuze uit kip of lam. Eenvoudig maar smakelijk. Vriendelijk geholpen. Het zag er schoon uit. Geen airco, maar denk dat we met deze hitte een beetje verwend zijn. ☀️😎🙃

Dit is een mengelmoesje van een bruin café en restaurant gewoon gezellig,het eten werd achter de bar bereid door de vriendelijke eigenaar,we waren wat verbaasd dat dat op die plek gebeurde maar toen we ons eten eenmaal kregen: een goed gevuld bord falafel met verse salade en een lamsschoarma ook met verse salade en patat was ik nog meer verbaasd: De patat was heerlijk, de salade heerlijk,de shoarma/falafel heerlijk en de uiensaus was uit de kunst. Zeker een reden om hier nog eens gegaan eten als we weer eens in wijk aan zee zijn.
