We have now ordered from Thai restaurant Malika for the second time, and again it was delicious. The dishes are full of flavor, freshly prepared and always delivered at the right temperature. It is a bit more expensive, but you definitely get value for your money. Malika never disappoints!

Had a great meal for two. For €60 fish cakes as a starter, 2 main courses with generous amounts of very tender chicken, beef and fresh well stir-fried vegetables. Smooth service, whole family busy making food, good view of kitchen (hygienic), what more could you want. Definitely recommended, really don't understand those negative reviews at all.

Malik’s Thai restaurant I recommend you to come the food and service are very good you can ask the chefs what you like of the taste and them can cook like the way you want. 😍

The meal was delicious, but the food was too spicy for some in our party (although we specifically asked for mild). The curry sauce was tasty but very watery/not creamy. The service was extremely friendly and helpful, but it took a lot of effort to get their attention after our order had been taken. Open kitchen is very cool to see, but the restaurant itself felt a bit bare.

Printed menu prices were about 35% higher than what was shown on their own restaurant website. When asked why, you could see the guilt in the server's eyes. I challenge the owner to publish the dine-in menu on their website. The truth is this immoral liar owner publishes lower prices on their own website and when you go to the restaurant, they have higher priced menu card. The restaurant owner has done this to offset the 30% discount on the fork website. Extremely fraud owner. This dishonesty spoiled our entire experience. Please avoid these immoral dishonest people. UPDATE: It has been 3 months since the owner said we will get prices updated on Fork website but they still show the same. This dishonest liar owner is scamming Fork customers by showing 30% discount and then charging them higher prices than if you came to the restaurant as a non-Fork customer. I ask all people to avoid this restaurant elsewhere unless you are OK to have a dishonest business in our community.

I bought a voucher from GiftForYou for 35 euros for a dinner for 2 people at mallika-thaifood. At that restaurant the owner says that I only get a discount of 26 euros. I complained about this to GiftForYou. GiftForYou acknowledges that Mallika has not acted properly, but cannot reach an agreement with Mallika. And I am not given any decent compensation, except a cigar from my own box with my next purchase

You order more than 2 hours before you want to receive the food and then they just manage to deliver it more than half an hour late. Won't say it was cold, lukewarm is better; but it got cold too quickly while eating because of this. Then just stop it, because this isn't about anything; how bad this is!

Je bestelt meer dan 2 uur voordat je het eten wilt ontvangen en dan krijgen ze het gewoon alsnog voor elkaar om meer dan een half uur te laat af te leveren. Stop er dan gewoon mee, want dit gaat nergens over; bah, wat slecht!

I have for 2023? ordered earlier when the food was better. Now very greasy, older meat was wrong, skin still supple and greasy on the duck? was that cooked? It would be better if it were fried and then fried duck in released fat. This was well done and raw at the same time? Beans raw and some uncut, white rice overcooked except sticky which is normal for that rice, it also fell apart. too much lemon and bay leaf, not enough cayenne or chili pepper. 50 euros for 2 dishes is quite pricey if it is so disappointing. Own app that requires location rights or you can't order? 2km further with travel costs of 2.50 is actually a lot if you order such an amount for 2km?? Ordered (1 p.m.) for the first (5 p.m.) occasion and still arrived (20 minutes) late, but was friendly. Not that bad, but not really 'original cuisine' very good anymore. Try a different store next time! My toilet is grateful to you.

Always delicious fresh food, both takeaway and in the restaurant.

This place is managed in a lousy way. I canceled my order by phone & delivery last weekend as 1.5hrs after agreed time still no delivery despite multiple call reminders (delivery is under way???) so I canceled. Today, order by phone & pick-up package excluded the side dish that I paid for. Chanceless to get refund. No more Mallika for us.

Eten laten bezorgen. Helaas kwam de Pangsit zonder saus en was het gerecht te heet om te eten. Vaker meegemaakt dat de kwaliteit niet consistent is bij Malika maar dit keer was het wel heel erg slecht. Er is een meerwaartse spiraal ingezet. We hebben de bestelling maar weggegooid. Helaas op zoek naar een andere Thai.

This is the worst Thai food I have eaten, and not cheap either, the prices in this Thai Restaurant are extremely high, Pad Thai they charge 29 euros, never experienced that before. I personally ordered Phat Kaphrao and what kind of Thai vegetables should I use (kaphrao), no, it wasn't there. Sorry for this review,

Served the wrong dish, made us eat pork when we clearly mentioned no meat, sea-food or shrimp paste. Have been to enough Thai places to know that this place is not it. The arrogant staff blamed it on me for ordering incorrectly which he would get right if only he cared enough to use one of his 2 ears. They wanted me to pay since I took a bite, like I am fortune-teller to just know what I am served without being informed or taking a bite. It’s a reflection of their mindset that the first thing that comes to their mind is “oh we need to charge for this order, that in the first place, we didn’t get right” rather than “let me try to fix my mistake and ensure the customer doesn’t have a terrible time because of it”. Nevertheless, I still didn’t make a fuss about it and politely requested them to serve me what I ordered. They were ridiculously arrogant and completely unapologetic about the incident. Stay far away from this place if you seek a good experience. Pad Thai tasted like packaged noodles dipped in lemon relish and was too sweet. To sum up, they need to train their staff better on how to behave in the catering and dining industry!!! Mistakes happen but own up to it and make it right not be sly about it. Never returning to this chain again

This was by far the worst dining experience of my life. Despite our specific customisation request for tofu curry and confirmation that none of our dishes contained meat, seafood, or egg due to our vegan dietary preferences, the restaurant served us pork curry instead. Rather than offering an apology and rectifying their mistake, the restaurant had the audacity to demand payment for the pork curry, which my husband took a small bite of before realizing it wasn't tofu. We refused to pay for the dish as it was their error and requested our original order which they served us reluctantly. The complete lack of customer service and the arrogance displayed by the staff was appalling. Not going to recommend this place to anyone.

Overall very good meals. Order here very regularly. Now I find the food on Monday tastier and more filling than on Friday or Saturday. (I guess it's up to the chef ;-) Excellent prices. I cannot judge the atmosphere, I have never eaten here on location before.

Ate here for the first time. We always look for a Thai person we pass by. The food was really delicious. As it should. Price was €30 pp Atmosphere: it is a lovely restaurant where you can look into the kitchen. No fuss in the restaurant. A lot was collected. We recommend them for real Thai food. The taste was just good, as it should be. Price comparison worth 5 stars.

Today, we ordered a pad thai with beef unfortunately had to threw it due to bad smell. Pad thai was ok but meat had very bad smell

It's more of a diner vibe. A bit lacking in atmosphere. The staff is very friendly. The food is tasty with generous portions. However, the Pad Thai smelled a bit burnt. Tom kha soup was not tangy enough, and there was no lime provided. In my opinion, the prices are a bit on the high side. For that price point, I'd prefer something a bit more comfortable.

It was a very nice experience. We are vegetarian so I refused the fish chips . Then server came to us and explained all dishes can be made vegan/vegetarian . It was really great ! So we ordered 2 dishes which were absolutely delicious and really big portions. Dishes are on expensive side but it’s justifiable if you measure taste and amount. They could improve the seating experience a bit maybe by segregating the kitchen and take away area from rest of the restaurant. All in all I loved it would go here again .

Overall always super satisfied with this restaurant. One of the tastiest fried rice I have ever eaten. Unfortunately, it was much less tasty today. Chicken with cashew was also dry.. Very unfortunate. Hope this was a one-off and the recipe hasn't changed. Thai chili sauce was tasty and 🌶️🌶️🌶️

Altijd vaste plek als ik een dag geen zin heb om te koken of als ik gewoon zin heb in Thais eten. Zo ook gisteren weer. Bediening is altijd vriendelijk en het eten altijd lekker. Fijn om zo’n kleinschalig restaurant in de buurt te hebben! Dit blijft mijn vaste plek!

It’s authentic Thai food made by Thai people. Shrimp soup was one of the best I’ve ever had, pad Thai was genuine. The staff makes people welcomed in this place, for sure I will come back. Great location, literally at the Almere Centrum, perfect food.

I visited this "restaurant" with my wife to have lunch. The service was very friendly, but the food was terrible. I can't recommend this establishment. In this case we would've been better off eating at Mc Donald's.

Qua sfeer om daar te eten is niet zo gezellig. Maar ik heb zelden zulk vriendelijk en lief personeel/eigenaars gezien. En het eten is heerlijk. Afhalen is top.

Heerlijk gegeten bij Mallika. Wat een verstopt pareltje is dit ondanks dat het naast station Almere gevestigd is valt Mallika niet heel snel op. Thais eten met een prachtige presentatie en heerlijke smaken. Wat ik persoonlijk heel speciaal vind zijn de groottes van de porties. 2 gerechten besteld die je prima met 4 man zou kunnen eten. Het overgebleven eten hebben wij kunnen meenemen. Personeel is zeer beleefd en vriendelijk. Er is echt naar onze wensen geluisterd. Het restaurant is leuk aangekleed en geeft een warme uitstraling. Prijs kwaliteit verhouding is TOP! Echt een aanrader. Kipgerechten waren allemaal halal. Persoonlijk vind ik het alleen jammer dat er zoveel gerechten op de kaart staan met varkensvlees.

Waren tot aan gister alleen bekend met de vestiging in Almere Buiten maar nu bij de nieuwe vestiging in Almere Stad gegeten. Een andere kaart dan in Buiten maar meer dan genoeg keuze. Erg lekker en super vriendelijke bediening. Komen hier zeker terug!

Zojuist een bak sticky rice met gegrilde kip afgehaald. Ten eerste was het kippendij veels te droog en er zat amper vlees op. Heb denk ik meer botten in mijn mond gehad dan kip tijdens het eten. Het huisgemaakte saus is een beetje spicy sweet chilisaus met koriander en bosui. Vast heel moeilijk om te maken. En dat allemaap voor €14.-

Vind het eten achteruit gaan. Onwijs veel knoflook. En te grote stukken groenten. Past soms niet eens in mijn mond.

Geen betere keuze voor lekker eten. Ter plaatse of thuis.

Altijd heerlijke maaltijden. De vis koekjes en de kroepoek zijn glutenvrij en worden ook in een aparte frituur bereidt. Vrijwel alle gerechten zijn ook glutenvrij. De vriendelijke dame (eigenaar) weet ook wat wel en niet kan met intoleranties en allergieën Kip en koe is Hallal. Always delicious meals. The fish biscuits and prawn crackers are gluten-free and are also prepared in a separate fryer. Almost all dishes are also gluten-free. The friendly lady (owner) also knows what is not and is possible with intolerances and allergies . Chicken and cow is Hallal.

Was een beetje teleurgesteld met het eten. De garnalen waren wat taai, er zat alleen wortel en uien in de curry had toch meer groente verwacht (paprika/ bamboe scheuten, enz) voor die prijs en heel veel saus.

Werkelijk waar heerlijk Thais eten uit een echt familierestaurant. Eten besteld en het was snel klaar. Er is een open keuken en er is een vriendelijke service! Echte aanrader.

The highlight of our week! Food tasted amazing! Freshly prepared from people who knows what they’re doing :) The restaurant is simple, so don’t expect a fancy service here. But the people were very friendly and the meals were mind blowing! We would definitely comeback! :)

I live about five minutes from the restaurant and always drive by and see people eating and getting for to go so I had to try it. Was not disappointed. It is a small restaurant, and you can see right in the kitchen. The staff is very friendly and super attentive. I went for dinner with my friend around 7 pm on a Friday a few others tables while we were there no reservation (but a lot of people came to pick up take out). I got the spicy papaya salad it was delicious. They do spicy right. I didn’t try anything else but there is a lot more on the menu that sounds good. They also have family meals you can order where they bring a hot plate to your table and you can mix and match every thing. Cheers, Enjoy!

Verwacht geen luxe restaurant, maar een prima eettentje dat niet voor niets ook op een doordeweekse avond behoorlijk druk is. We aten hier met een groep. De bediening was vlot en vriendelijk. De viskoekjes die we als voorgerecht hadden waren heerlijk. Daarna gebakken vis in saus en rundvlees. Wel wat zouter dan we gewend zijn, maar prima van smaak. Je kunt aangeven of je de curry wat milder of juist wat pittiger wilt. Wij komen hier zeker terug om andere gerechten van de kaart te proberen. Prima prijs/kwaliteitverhouding.
