Getting money for food that isn't there... send me kids to get food there but they never have what we ask for that's weird then you have to pay first and then you get oh sorry I only have chicken legs so you just get what they feel like giving you at that moment... and then you come home and don't give them cold food from the fridge what a pathetic bunch because we are half-bloods they think we don't know what Surinamese is

I just bought food I live 5 minutes from the store I want to eat do I also have to put the food that I just bought in my own microwave because it was just freezing cold every time also new new people who are at work!

I worked at this place for a few days, but it was really not a pleasant experience. The place where they make the food was anything but clean. Food was just heated up in the microwave and given to customers like that. I worked really hard, and the owner promised me that I would be paid within a few days. In the end I had to wait weeks, and even after a month I still didn't get anything. When I called him about it, he responded: "Who do you think you are?" Today I suddenly got a message that I wouldn't get my money because it would be a "trial day". While I did get paid for the other two days, although that was also in a vague way. Very strange and unprofessional to treat someone like that, especially a 17 year old who is just trying his best to work. And I'm certainly not the only one who has had such an experience with him, there are more people with complaints.

We regularly pick up from here. The food is well seasoned and the staff is very friendly! One portion of roti is just a little too little for us, so we still order an extra bowl of potatoes.

I had dinner here last week, and it was delicious, good service and friendly staff, so a good experience for me. I will definitely come again in the future, ps I eat a lot in Surinamese eateries and I can say this one is certainly in my top 3 for quality food.

We had a delicious meal here! If you omit the egg from the vegetarian roti, you have a vegan roti. I honestly don't understand the low rating. We have had take-out and sit-down here several times. Nothing to complain about.

Ben hier eerder geweestvoor afhaal, en was toen tevreden over de roti kip, maar nu echt kleine portie, kip droog. De smaak was wel ok, maar ik kom geen 2e keer, jammer.

Heerlijk eten hier, snap de negatieve reacties niet. Hele leuke mensen aan het werk en het eten is verrukkelijk!

Ik snap dat jullie mama Krioro heette. Het is ook net of je bij je moeder besteld hebt. Een goeie stevie goeie maaltijd and damn does it got taste. Kruiden zijn precies genoeg. Ook perfect voor gevoelige monden. Echt geweldig. Oprecht bedankt. En ik schrijf niet vaak een review.

Waar moet ik beginnen vraag ik me al n half uur af, het eten was perfect heb in tijden niet meer zo kunnen genieten van een rundvlees pasteitje! Service was ook erg fijn zeer vriendelijke dame achter de balie! De sfeer was ook erg fijn! Prachtig filiaal ook met veel mooi groen! Conclusie 10/10 zeker een aanrader!

Al wandelend vanuit het Modekwartier richting Arnhem centrum, kwamen we Mama Krioro tegen. Een klein Surinaams restaurantje. De eigenaresse was uiterst vriendelijk & spontaan. Er stonden veel lekkere gerechten op de menukaart. Ook een aantal authentieke gerechten die je niet zo snel ziet in een standaard Surinaams restaurantje. Helaas was de menukaart flyer gedateerd en de info klopte helaas niet meer. Dat was best jammer. Vooraf kreeg je een bakje kroepoek en omdat het ietsje langer duurde, kregen we nog een extra bakje om te knabbelen. Wij hadden een saoto en bijgaand gerecht op de foto besteld. Grote porties! Ik kon het niet op maar het was erg lekker. De sambal die we erbij kregen, was prima en smaakvol. De rijst mocht ietsje langer doorgekookt worden want her en der was er een verdwaalde ‘à la dente’ rijstkorrel. Ook wel kruwa genoemd in het Surinaams :-) Ik had een lekkere orgeade (met melk) besteld. Ook heerlijk en niet al te zoet dit keer. Je kan met mooi weer zowel binnen als buiten zitten. Het was die dag heet en we zaten buiten, heerlijk aan de schaduw zijde. Vier sterren omdat het eten prima en lekker was en de bediening uiterst vriendelijk en we zonder hoge verwachtingen gingen uitproberen. Kom je uit de randstad en je bent meer gewend qua Surinaams eten…. verwacht dan geen Draver, Ricardo’s, Warung Marlon of Warung mini. Just saying ;-)

Heerlijk eten!! Zeer vriendelijk personeel en gezellig zaakje. Het enige minpuntje is dat veel drankjes niet beschikbaar waren ivm de leveranciers.

De broodjes kipkerrie waren lekker, echter had de bami een overheersende koriander smaak. Dat was wat minder. Daarnaast vind ik het jammer dat de bezorger geen wisselgeld mee had.

Veels te duur,14 euro voor een halfvol bakje roti lam.

Soms is het heel lekker, meestal valt het tegen. Wel vriendelijke bediening.

Prima eten, hebben hier vaker besteld. Deze keer 1 ster minder, had 2 roti kippendijfilet besteld, bij 1 zat er geen vlees bij, en de portie’s waren iets kleiner dan wij gewend zijn. Ook roti lamsvlees was niet meer te bestellen.
