Had a delicious lunch here! The food was prepared quickly and served in large portions. To start, we were served a delicious tomato soup. I definitely recommend the Moby Dick sandwich; this sandwich contains various types of fish, including tuna, salmon, crab, and shrimp. It is a substantial sandwich with many different flavors. Additionally, you can decide for yourself what kind of bread roll you want the toppings on (stick, brioche, bagel, etc.). The matcha latte also had a tasty flavor and a good ratio of milk to matcha.

Amazing!! Truly a taste explosion for an "ordinary" lunch. So many ingredients on one sandwich/dish that together create an amazing fusion of flavors.

The food is generally good. The smoothies are excellent. If something goes wrong, they try to fix it promptly. The prices are steep, but the quality is above average.

Cozy spot, nicely decorated, and comfortable chairs. My cup of tea came with a delicious cookie and a glass jar of honey, which I was pleasantly surprised by. The cups are also specially designed to prevent burning your hands. I ordered a carpaccio salad, and it was a large portion, and the price was reasonable. Highly recommended.

Saturday lunch. The red wine was gone. The cutlery was still in the dishwasher. There was no salt and pepper on the table, and no napkin. The toilet wasn't clean. The sandwich was decent, the salad was fine, but I wouldn't go back.

Cozy place. The service is welcoming, attentive, and knowledgeable about gluten-free options. I had Moby Dick, two generously filled gluten-free sandwiches with various types of fish. When it was served, I noticed it came with surimi, which isn't gluten-free. They immediately remade it with extra smoked salmon instead of surimi. Delicious lunch!

We arrived at 10:45 a.m. According to Google, the restaurant opened at 10:30 a.m. We found our table already dirty, even though the restaurant was empty, so the cleaning left a lot to be desired. There was also a lot of dirt on the floor, even at the start of the day! I ordered a smoothie and a sandwich. I had indicated I didn't want tomatoes due to an allergy, which, as it turned out, hadn't been communicated. It happens, but when I returned my sandwich, they said, "Just take it off!" To which I shouted, "No, don't do that, or I'll have a problem with traces later!" Luckily, I heard it, but what if I hadn't? That's not how you treat customers, even though it had been properly reported. I was very understanding because, after all, they're only human, but to react like that clearly shows a lack of knowledge about allergies and their consequences!!!??? My husband's sandwich was already finished, of course, so it sat on the counter the whole time (which I don't think was very fresh). When I went to check out, I saw the orange peels from our smoothies still there. Sorry, but that had also been sitting there for over 45 minutes. Why? The sandwiches were delicious, well-filled, and fresh. The smoothie was also fresh and tasty, but they really need to be more vigilant about hygiene.

What a madhouse, with as many tables crammed together as possible. You can barely hear each other; it is so noisy inside. Poor service; after 10 minutes, still no menu. Grabbing a quick sandwich isn't an option here; set aside an hour. During those 10 minutes we waited, I also saw a sandwich that still needed to be served sitting on the counter rotting for 10 minutes. I have experienced this multiple times. We left and are never coming back. If you can't handle the number of tables with normal service, then remove some tables. The sandwiches are the best, though.

What a shame. Such a good sandwich and such terrible service. It took at least 10 minutes for an inexperienced young man to ask what we'd like to drink, without immediately bringing the menu. After another 10 minutes, the menu arrived, and only then did we receive two cappuccinos, brought by the owner himself with the accompanying comment: "I'm sure you're just here for coffee?" Then the young man returned to the table to ask if we'd made a choice. And then the long wait began, half an hour for two baguettes, one with ham and one with Thai chicken. Excellent quality, though. Tables around us also had very long waits, and we saw many frowning faces, and even people walking away. This could be better, much better.

Good food, neat shop. You can walk from here to a furniture store.

September 2025, Weekday Lunch I enjoyed a leisurely and relaxing lunch. The food was delicious! The beer was also delicious! However, perhaps this is Dutch time, but the time from ordering to being served was far too long. Thank you for the meal!

Had a delicious meal, large portions, highly recommended

It used to be my favorite restaurant when I visited my parents. Now the prices are higher, the sandwiches are smaller, they're overcooked, and if there's 40g of chicken on a chicken sandwich, I'm optimistic. The pesto mayo was also awful (anymore). Too bad, it used to be a great place!

Very long wait for the ordered food. Was busy and there was little staff. Food was delicious.

We had a very nice lunch here. The sandwiches were fresh and tasty, the smoothie was delicious and the ice cream sundae was a nice ending. Everything tasted great and the portions were just right.

I come here regularly and have been for over 10 years, but unfortunately the service is getting worse and worse and it is also becoming very expensive for what you get. In the last 2 years we have had to wait a very long time for a smoothie or for the food several times. When it is busy we understand that, but we even had 1 time that we did not get any food at all. Then we waited 1.5 hours and had to leave because of another appointment, but then you don't get anything in return as soon as you say something about it; we just had to pay for the drinks. It would be nice to give a discount or write a gift voucher, even if it is only €10,-. Today it was quiet: with us there were 4 tables occupied. The tables that came later already got their sandwiches and we still had nothing an hour later. The hostess noticed and asked if the sandwiches were ready, then after an hour we got the food, but it was only "enjoy your meal" and she quickly walked away. I do think that when you see that a table hasn't had their food yet, you can apologize on behalf of the "chef", even though you can't do anything about it yourself. And then you pay more than €40,- for 2 drinks and 2 sandwiches. A lot of money for what you get.

Ik heb in eerste instantie een heerlijk tomatensoepje gegeten en een lekkere ijskoffie gedronken, maar de carpaccio salade was een ijsbergsla wat nog in elkaar zat zoals het gesneden zat met daar bovenop 1 tomaatstukje en wat blokjes komkommer en daarbovenop de carpaccio zonder smaak en een laag saus en kaas en een paar scheppen pesto, er zat geen smaak aan, wit brood besteld en kregen bruin brood met een bakje saus wat er al heel lang stond dat zag je aan de kleur en substantie. De eigenaar had het heel druk met het personeel en andere gasten en zijn telefoon. Op mijn partner zijn muntthee zat een korte haar (wil niet weten wat het voor haar was) op het honingpotje en het bakje waar het bestek in zat was zeer smerig. Er werd ook niet gevraagd of het had gesmaakt, was er klaar mee.

Chosen to have a tapas takeaway meal at Christmas. BBQ chicken with potato gratin and grilled root vegetables. Absolutely delicious. For a really small amount you can dine like a king. Compliments.

Heerlijk verse gerechten. Goede prijs/ kwaliteit verhouding. Hier wordt nog gekookt en niet alleen opgewarmd. Goede smaakcombinaties

Vandaag daar geluncht. Over het eten niets dan lof. Ook de prijzen zijn redelijk. Wat jammer was, dat vanwege de drukte de bediening het bijna niet aankon, met gevolg dat na onze bestelling, het bijna een uur duurde voordat de lunch werd geserveerd. Ons avondeten kwam daardoor in het gedrang. De bediening was vriendelijk, maar ik kreeg het idee dat de keuken het amper kon bijbenen. Het bedienen van het terras, het restaurant en de eerste etage vergde kennelijk veel. Dit alles doet niets af aan de kwaliteit en de vriendelijke bediening.

They have delicious soft ice cream. Perhaps the tastiest in all of Betuwe. Lunch was mediocre, fries and mayo far too greasy.

Normally we have lunch here and there is never anything to complain about, but now they had homemade soft ice cream. Not my thing. So we get the ice cream again from the ice cream shop and lunch from Marcus 😉

Besloten om bij dit restaurant te gaan lunchen op aanraden van iemand anders. Bij binnenkomst was het redelijk rustig, al was daar qua bediening helaas weinig van te merken. Ruim een kwartier moeten wachten voordat er wat opgenomen werd. Vervolgens weer een kwartier verder hadden we nog steeds niets. Na ruim een half uur zijn we gegaan. Heel erg jammer. Voor ons de eerste en de laatste keer.

Average sized lunchroom with tasty sandwiches. Unfortunately the food took quite some time (30+ minutes), but that was made up for by a free drink on the house. The sandwiches were tasty but not great. I'd say better than average. The smoothies are very tasty. It is very noisy inside, a real chatter tent with tables close together. If the name makes you think of a Roman interior, you will also be disappointed. Simply modern and neatly decorated. Parking is easy, there is a large parking lot.

The food was fantastic. However, the service left a lot to be desired, because it was very busy and it took a long time before we could order our drinks and before we received them. Fortunately, the meal went somewhat smoothly, but it was not perfect.

High tea gehad! Eigenlijk doet de naam high tea niet eer aan wat je krijgt. Het eten is meer een proeverij. Het is heerlijk en een aanrader.

Hier vanmiddag lekker gelunched. Smakelijke smoothies en salades en een echte kroketburger zelfs. Dit naast vriendelijke bediening, een mooie aanpalende meubelzaak en een toilet in een oude bankkluis maakt het een mooi etablisiment om te stoppen voor de lunch of high tea.

Weinig over te zeggen! Het eten is heerlijk De service is top! En een hele mooie gelegenheid.

Heerlijke high tea gehad. Dit is geen standaard high tea maar wel echt heerlijk!

Ongedwongen vriendelijk en vlot bediend. Lekker soepje en slaatje en sandwich. Niets negatiefs op aan te merken behalve een super klein detail dat men heel even bestek en dan serviet vergeten was, wat we binnen paar seconden kregen. De volle zaal getuigt dat dit een plek is waar men vaste klant wordt als buurtbewoner.

Perfect zaak voor niets minder dan de lekkerste broodjes van Maas en Waal en omstreken. Ongekend goede kwaliteit en fijne service.

Lekker lunchen, echt een aanrader.

Zo jammer dat het een grote kakofonie is van geluiden. Na 15 jaar moet je toch al lang iets aan de akoestiek doen. Na het eten snel weg gegaan. Zo jammer alles is beton beton beton.

Eten was perfect super lekker. Bediening wat minder. Erg lang moeten wachten op een broodje. Denk dat dit te maken heeft met hoeveelheid jong personeel. Nogmaals Eten was echt heel goed.

Erg lekker gegeten. We waren hier voor mijn vriends verjaardag. Ze waren bereid last minute zijn ijsje op te vrolijken met bloemen en een mini vuurwerkje. Erg vriendelijk personeel, we mochten boven zitten op het terras, ookal was het daar helemaal leeg en ze kwamen regelmatig langs om te vragen of alles naar wens was. Goede service. Lekker eten. En je kan het online helaas niet zien, maar ze hebben biologische Jersey koe ijs. Heerlijk!

Heb heerlijk gegeten bij Marcus Antonius. Dit keer de Scrambled eggs met Drie geklutste eitjes, kerriesaus, kaas van Ravenswaard, beenham en Dreumels spek en met lente groenten. En als afsluiter een softe ijs met Pistachenoten en honing vanuit Curaçao.

Echt een geweldig restaurant, al zeer vaak hier geweest en iedere keer weer enorm tevreden naar huis! Flinke porties en enorm lekker! Geweldig personeel en een leuke sfeer. Vandaag een onhandigheidje met iemand van ons die glutenvrij at, dit is echt meer dan netjes opgelost met super service! Wij komen zeker terug! P.s. het lekkerste broodje carpaccio eet je hier!!

Er was iets niet helemaal goed gegaan met een broodje (kan altijd gebeuren) maar dat hebben ze dan weer heel goed en netjes opgelost zoals je mag verwachten van een professioneel bedrijf! Al met al top!

Geen gezeur, gewoon lekkere broodjes en goeie sfeer, prima.

Mooi restaurant met een moderne sfeer. De broodjes waren vers en goed belegd met verse en ongewone ingrediënten die het bijzonder lekker maakte.

Een mooie kaart met heerlijke lunch gerechten die overtreffelijk worden klaargemaakt. Tijdens het spitsuur is het misschien wat langer wachten maar dat is het meer dan waard. Heerlijk gegeten!

Gister gegeten met de buurvrouw en haar dochter. Was heerlijk en wat een aardig personeel en eigenaar.

Goede en vlotte bediening. En erg lekker eten. Nu al een paar keer geweest. Elke keer dezelfde ervaring opgedaan. Daarom zeker 5 sterren.

Prima broodjes, lekker voor tussendoor.
