Maslow Café in Middenmeer

We had a wonderful meal, including the nachos, and we also enjoyed the cocktails. The other food was also really good. We're glad we stopped by.

Relaxed place, tasty food and very nice people, such a shame they are closing down.

One of the most slow and unwelcoming places. Waited 10min get a cocktail, the server spilled the cocktail while bringing it to the table.

Maslow is a cozy student cafe. Great atmosphere. Incredibly friendly staff. Unfortunately, it's been sold. I think that's a real shame. I heard the concept is changing—food only, no alcohol, and the staff won't be retained. I'll go back again to enjoy it once more. Dear people of Maslow, I wish you a healthy and happy life. Love the good old cafe place. Our kid is studying here and it is always a delight to meet here Kudos Chef for a special deconstruction of the Sabich. One suggestion - stop adding sugar to your sauces and especially the spicy ones

Very cosy place, on a quiet corner with not much traffic. Lots of sun before lunch. Everyone from the staff is very welcoming. Food is delicious and the beer selection is decent. I just found it too expensive during my student years.

Not only for students. Upon enter Maslow, the first thing you notice are 3 huge beer kegs. This, combined with its location in the Amsterdam Science park, immediately gives away the cafe’s core target audience, Dutch students. I’m not a student, nor have I been for a long time. Having said that, I did find myself enjoying a light lunch on a Friday afternoon at Maslow cafe. I ordered the homemade burger with fries, my company for that day went for the falafel platter (or balafel as they call it). The food was surprisingly tasty. My burger had all the right ingredients. The burger had a delicate spicy aftertaste which surprised me in a positive manner. It was accompanied by fries that were simple but fried to a perfect crisp. A small portion of pickles completed the experience. Mayonnaise and ketchup are free of charge which is a rarity in the Netherlands. The prices have been adjusted to support a student’s budget. The atmosphere is inviting and the service is great. I’ll be back!

Great food, can definitely recommend the Spicy Veggie if you like to try a vegan dish. Nice atmosphere and kind staff as well.

I had a hot chocolate which was very good. The milk was very creamy and dark. And the other thing were like cheese pakoda.. the sauce was bomb! Very savory 🤩 The ambience is amazing (and the wifi speed too). The burgers are quite good. The samosas arent very good..they arent even samosas..they are triangles made out of craft paper so don't try that. Also had chicken satay and fries ..loved it...comes in copious quantity.

Staff always incredibly friendly

cycling around Amsterdam I.came accross this place. It has nice decor, outside sitting and nice menu. I was not that hungry had hummus what I would typically order and it was amazing. Best hummus I had in long time with some fries. Such a simple combination but really delicious.

Average eetcafé, average drinks and foods, and average expectations! They have a kind of beer 🍺 that is rather good but not perfect. The brewery process, as I get, needs more attention and delicacy.

Lovely place right next to Science Park. I had the shakshuka the first time, and the vegan burger the second. The eggs in the shakshuka were overdone, the tomatoes were sour, but overall 3 stars is fair. The burger was filling and had a nice mix of mellow flavors, but the texture left a lot to be desired. The patty and the bun, and everything in between, kind of mixed into one homogenous mass. Without any crunchy ingredients, it was quite disappointing for the price.

Great place to grab a drink, lunch, or dinner. The food is always delicious, the atmosphere is cozy, the ambient music is great and the service is amazing. They have baby chairs.

A great place for a coffee, tea or hot chocolate. Nice laid back atmosphere. Good music playing in the background.

This is the best place in Amsterdam to eat and drink. The owners are really great people and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. You will love it here. Highly recommended!

Lekker informeel, ruime keuze aan eten en bieren. Gerechten zijn goed, maar niet heel verrassend. Bijzonder is dat er geen bediening is.

What a great place! Loved the food, loved the concept.

Goede plek voor studenten om een avondmaaltijd te halen. Vooral het keukenpersoneel is heel vriendelijk. De salade bij het burgermenu was voor ons een paar stukjes komkommer, maar al met al een goede maaltijd voor een lage prijs. Je moet wel zelf aan de bar bestellen en je eten en bestek ophalen.

Relaxed place for a drink. I had some falafel as well, which was delicious -- no hockey pucks here. The service was excellent. Tammey even made the time to have a chat. Good beer too. I had the house beer ( and ended up having two)... Definitely recommend. I will be back.

Smaakvolle en zeeeer betaalbare broodjes. Semi selfservice werkt goed! Je besteld aan de bar en krijgt dan een buzzer mee. Drankjes worden gebracht! Eten kan je afhalen in keuken in ruil voor de buzzer :). Prima!

Nice place to go for some beers. There are plenty of options available both on tap and in can/bottle. The food was nice but a little expensive, the portions should be a tiny bit bigger to make it perfect. The location is cool and near the shopping area which makes it the best place to grab a beer after buying stuff. The service was a little.slow but very cordial and knowledgeable about the beers/food.

Cozy atmosphere, food is really good

We just had a takeaway and the burgers were delicious, the chips (fries) were thick and very tasty. Apart from that the hostess was really friendly and helpful.

Food is great and not expensive, staff is amazing, and there's always a good atmosphere! It's comfortable for studying and never had issues with noise or slow internet. For after-work hours Maslow is a great place to have good food and relax with a drink. Personal recommendation is the kofte platter and the ice coffee is great as well!

Mis amigos, mi familia y yo nos encanta venir aquí para cualquiera de nuestras comidas. El restaurante es acogedor, el personal es amable y las comidas son relativamente baratas. No he encontrado un solo elemento en el menú que no haya disfrutado, ¡todas sus opciones son simples pero muy efectivas y tienen un sabor delicioso! Gran lugar para veganos y vegetarianos también. ¡Ideal para estudiantes que buscan una comida barata que todavía se siente como un millón de dólares! Lo malo es que es bastante difícil de alcanzar, por lo que es una de las gemas ocultas de Ámsterdam. ¡Nos encanta el quiche de espinacas y el falafel!
