McDonald's in Wijk 05 Oosterheide

Recently ate here with a group of 20 people. Ordering went smoothly, and the food was brought quickly. All orders were correct, and anything that had been changed was clearly marked so that it was clear to everyone. Friendly and helpful staff, as you would expect at McDonald's, but I still wanted to mention it here.

I don't know if the branch manager here fully realizes the state of affairs. There is a trail of trash at the entrance before you even enter. The floor is greasy everywhere and the tables are dirty. The self-checkout machine keeps beeping all the time to indicate that the receipt is empty. When you are at the checkout, everyone is staring at you, but no one will help you. Table service is not available either. It has been better in the past. Understaffing doesn't seem to be the issue to me if there are so many staff members in the kitchen.

Fast service. Got 10 nuggets instead of 9 🙏

A really great McDonald’s! The food was tasty, fresh, and served nice and hot. The order was ready quickly and everything was neatly packaged. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the place was clean and tidy. There is also ample parking space in front of the restaurant, making it easy to park for a moment and take a break. Everything was to my liking, and I will definitely come back here again. Highly recommended!

We visited McDonald's today at this branch's drive-thru. We were spoken to arrogantly by the lady behind the counter when ordering. We also had to repeat everything we ordered; she was a poor listener, super unsympathetic towards us, and ultimately she just "guessed" the price of our order, and the exact cost was never stated. Meanwhile, she wanted (more like commanding) us to drive on to the cashier with some questions we still wanted to ask, but which were not answered. We also didn't get the question: "What does it actually cost?" We finally got that at the cashier at counter number 1. At counter number 2, it was the same story; she was also super arrogant, didn't listen, and just looked away after we paid. She just wanted to "just check" if everything was correct regarding the price (which I do as standard). Also, the wrap my wife ordered was of poor quality and inedible. We subsequently filed a complaint with the manager inside. In short, McDonald's, having well-spoken and, above all, well-listening employees who could also be a bit more polite would be a must for you!! If I had given 0 stars, I certainly would have done that!!

It was extremely busy on Saturday morning at 8:30. The drive-through wasn't open either, so perhaps that had something to do with it. At one point, things seemed to go quite wrong with the orders because no one responded to the girl trying to call out the ready orders. From the moment we ordered, we stood watching at the counter, but our order (two cheeseburgers and a cappuccino) just wouldn't come through. Then we were approached a bit irritably about what our order was, after which it was grabbed. The burgers were just thrown together and cold. This is not a McDonald's I would go back to; others are many times better.

We had to wait 45 minutes for our food, but they were very friendly.

Today was already the fourth time this week, and unfortunately, I was still missing items I had ordered, and there were also wrong products included. They didn't offer a receipt or napkins. Really hugely disappointed.

Had an ice cream in a cardboard cup, still a 15 euro plastic surcharge for the city center. And wasn't allowed a plain ice cream? It had to be with a dip. 2 ice creams for €8.30 Today was just good: 2x cheeseburgers, small fries and sauce €9.15, and then the column asks if you want to give an extra €0.75.

Friendly, cozy atmosphere, that certainly comes from the employees! Very customer-friendly and the toilet was spotlessly clean.

Top locations. Friendly and helpful staff, and if anything does go wrong, it's resolved promptly.

It's a shame the drive-thru attendant wasn't very friendly; there was a mistake in the order which she refused to correct. Canceling the order and going back into the drive-thru was her solution. She also spoke broken Dutch, making her difficult to understand, so we had to accept our order anyway. Next time, it's nice to have a KFC in this city!

It can get quite busy sometimes, but that says something about the atmosphere. There is also plenty of outdoor space.

We had to wait a very long time for our order. We wanted to order a Happy Meal, but they didn't have any. No, I have definitely been to a better McDonald's.

Unfortunately, our visit to this McDonald's was very disappointing. The food was cold, and we had to wait a very long time for both our food and later for our coffee. There was no one at the coffee counter for an extended period, which only prolonged the wait unnecessarily. The entire restaurant was also very dirty and appeared neglected. However, the most appalling aspect was the lack of hygiene in the kitchen. While we were waiting for our coffee, I observed an employee, presumably the manager (white shirt, black pants, headset), preparing burgers. He repeatedly touched his pants, constantly adjusted his headset, and touched various surfaces. Afterward, without any apparent handwashing, he dipped his hands into the lettuce and pressed the cheese onto the burger with his entire hand. I found this behavior extremely unhygienic and unacceptable.

A croquette is supposed to be crispy. Not soggy. Also, very high prices here compared to other McDonald's in the area.

It's a real mess inside. Just wipe down the table and sweep the floor. Everywhere you look, there is something. Open your eyes and look.

Like every McDonald's, quite a lot of litter due to the crowds, but otherwise clean and a nice terrace with music.

Drive on to the next McDonald's! Something has been going wrong with 50% of your orders here for years....

Just like a Mac should be, and fast. ...too bad that when you order and get a drink (3x) at the McDonald's drive-thru and the straws are forgotten and you ask for them, they get them with a sigh and you get 2...

If I wanted to wait 30 minutes for a soggy, sauce-drenched burger that smells like a science experiment, I would have stayed home. This morning's service was a total joke. The cheeseburger was swimming in so much tomato sauce it was impossible to pick up, let alone eat. Now I’m late and hungry. Thanks for nothing, McDonald's.

Ice cream is delicious. Mac muffins (also for breakfast), other sandwiches vary in flavor. I'm not a fan of McDonald's fries, which are often cold, and the few times they're warm, I'm pleasantly surprised.

What happened here? New owner? Really very bad, not clean and unfriendly. The global standard is nowhere to be found here. @macdonaldsnederland: I would intervene. Too filthy.

Just placed a takeout order; my husband took his fries and burger out of the paper bag and a feminine perfume scent hit you. Really disgusting when you think you're having a nice meal, but everything smelled of perfume. I don't think this is acceptable. The food wasn't too heavy, but the perfume scent was too overpowering.

You wait too long for the food and the service is always grumpy.

Nice clean restaurant, double big tasty is twice the size as the UK version, and you can order off the full menu at 10am and have the breakfast menu. Ps you must try the shakes. Milking times better than the UK especially tropical and banana

Shameful staff... you stand there waiting at the cash register for 5 minutes to order, a young lady walks back and forth and acts like she doesn't see me standing there, she finally comes over to me and asks me: Would you like to order something? I said yes please. Then she walks over to another young lady. A little later, another young lady came up to me. Without saying hello, he asked me, "Can I help you?" I said yes and ordered a Big Arch menu and a Fuze Tea; she thought it was Fristi. I paid, and only then did I see on the receipt that it said Fristi instead of Fuze Tea and 2 euros extra for the Fristi. Then I walked over to the manager, who happened to be standing there. I said I ordered a Fuze Tea, but the receipt says Fristi, and I showed her the receipt. She said we don't have Fuze Tea, but we do have fizzy iced tea. I said, "Then I'll take that." Then I said, "But it does say 2 euros extra on the receipt for Fristi." I gave her the receipt, she typed something on the screen, and she gave me 2 euros back without saying anything.

Not a nice McDonald's to drive to. Difficult to reach and very uninviting with all that concrete and speed bumps. It is cool, though, that McDonald's has a loyalty program these days!

I have strange feeling that beef for burgers is more fat than in other mcd, while eating you feel like somebody put the meat into deep frituur

We ate well and the staff were friendly.

Ordered a medium milkshake. It was made, but sat on a rack for 10 minutes and then given to me. Requested a new one. the employee was not really hesitant to do so, but the new one was not filled, and missing quite a lot. Got a strange look when I mentioned this, but it did get filled properly. Manager looking on, walking around, unaware of any urgency whatsoever. Remember: The ‘F’ in McDonalds stands for fun!

Bad, bad, bad! This Mac was taken over a while ago and since then it has become truly incredibly bad. Which is a shame, because it drags McDonald's good name down considerably. No receipts in the machines, no table service, no working screen. In short, it was just a guessing game as to who had which order. Coffee had been sitting there for 15 minutes, while the rest of the breakfast was nowhere near ready. Everything was cold or lukewarm. It took 20 minutes for the two breakfasts to be ready.

The website/McDonalds app states that gluten-free products are offered. However, in the restaurant, they only serve fries, so not the regular burgers that can be made gluten-free. Really very bad.

I've been there several times now; it's rare by now for the order to be correct. I think we've easily wasted 100 euros on food we didn't receive during the time we've been going there. And if you call, all you get told is to send an email to get a refund, but you don't get a response to that either. Absolutely worthless!

The food is fine, but they advertise gluten-free burgers at this location, yet they are absolutely unavailable. Please update the website or add them to the menu. I had to settle for just an ice cream in vain, while the rest of the group was enjoying burgers and chicken wings.

I recently ordered two Big Macs at a McDonald's Drive. I don't know what they did, but one meat was missing and the other burger had two meats stacked on top of each other (as seen in the photo). I called 7 times but no one answered. I know one of the managers, so I sent the photo, but I didn't get a reply. Maybe if you run out of meat burgers and guests have to wait, I don't mind.

Replace the fry sauce packets with tubs; they are easier than the packets. It is only with the drinks that they are increasingly moving towards sugar-free. There are still people who want a normal drink and don't want to be forced to drink sugar-free, so I think I'll bring my own drink next time.

Today we were driving back from the seaside. It was late, so we decided to go to McDrive. We ordered two sets and a Happy Meal. The fries were cold and unsalted. The burgers were smashed and poorly made. We ordered a Happy Meal for our son. When we got home, we found out they hadn't packed it. When we called, no one answered. I don't recommend it.

The food is good, but the furniture was dirty and there was trash everywhere. The trash cans were also overflowing; I am not used to this from MC.

I'm horrified. Every time I order takeout from here, there's no sauce, they mix up the burgers, they put the wrong thing in, or they put the wrong drink in. But the final straw was that last time they put one patty in a burger with two patties, and this time I got a cheeseburger without a patty at all. Am I supposed to check for patties now? It's terrible.

The ordering kiosk wasn't working, someone was supposed to come help. 10 minutes later, still no one.

Very nice alternative from Waalwijk, considering Waalwijk is always extremely busy. Food nice and hot. Modern decor. You have to like this kind of thing. Clean, including the toilets.

Just take it off Thuisbezorgd; you order, they cancel. They turn it back on, you order, they cancel. Talk about lazy clowns.

Treated poorly by the staff. The food was just thrown on the table and they were extremely rude. They threw the whole plate on the table and still had the nerve to say: "Here is your food." This is unacceptable! Rude!!

We had to wait 10+ minutes for 3 ice creams that were half melted. Some employees were chatting while others were working very hard; the boss also had to go to the employees who were chatting and unfortunately had to call them over to get on with their work.

When we arrived, it was so busy that there was no parking left, so we thought we would have to queue, but it wasn't nearly as bad as we expected. It was two minutes before I could order, and I think about 7 minutes when the order arrived; with that crowd, it was very quick. Everything we ordered for 5 people was hot, and most importantly, everything was super hot, and with the fish fillet sandwiches, it couldn't be any other way. All in all, a McDonald's I enjoy visiting, even though it gets incredibly busy. Due to the crowds, the atmosphere is a bit less vibrant, but the people are generally satisfied. Keep up the good work!!!

Terrible experience, staff is slow, restaurant is very dirty. I understand that it can sometimes be sloppy during busy times, but we were there at 7 pm and most people had already left, yet nothing had been cleaned. Drops and puddles were on the floor and staff just walked all over it 🫣 Only the manager was working; he was flying from left to right, the rest of the staff were more concerned with their appearance than with doing their job. A friendly thank you to the young man/manager who did his best.

When checking out, I wanted to use the QR code via the app, but supposedly that was no longer possible because I was “too late.” After that, I had to send a receipt myself via McDonald’s Netherlands to get the difference refunded. It is truly bizarre that this has to be so complicated. No effort at all to be considerate of the customer. Order cancelled, and I will not be coming back here.

I waited twenty (20!!!!) minutes for my lonely Big Mac and only got it by personally going to the cashier. Some people left without enduring the long wait in line for their order. Unfortunately, this is a fiasco and not fast food. Maybe it was a bad day. (The Big Mac had no cutlet, only a handful of yellowed cabbage, shock). SHOCK. Slow random food.

Having to wait 25 minutes for our food, and if it were busy, that would be fine, but no. Slow food it is.

We ordered a single pickle and didn't get it

Fast food, nothing more, nothing less, where the hamburgers are getting smaller and smaller, or the buns are getting bigger. Today, the hamburger was at least 10% smaller than the bun, which is a bit of a shame since it's already such a flat slice.

I came to Macdonald oosterhout at 09:00 (which supposed to be open) to drink coffee, unfortunately I was waiting for the staff to open the door for 15 minutes but they were looking to me from the windows and doesn't care! It was very cold outside! At least they can open the door on time so we can wait inside! So i leave and went to other place to get my coffee!

Yes, finally it's open again, but what a bad atmosphere, so open and nothing at all, a bit of privacy anymore, so from now on I'll just go to the humming top because the food was lukewarm again

Got really really sick shortly after eating my food. Been vomiting and couldn’t sleep all night. Even the next day I still feel really sick, still vomiting and stomach pain. Don’t eat here.

Beautifully centrally located near the entrance and exit. Equipped with MC-Drive. Spacious layout. Ample seating both inside and outside.

An easy place to grab a quick bite. Unfortunately, when you use the Mac drive-thru, you have to double-check your order to make sure everything is included, as things are often forgotten. And the food gets cold very quickly. Unfortunately, this also happens in the restaurant when you place an order, and when you ask, the staff don't always understand what you mean.

We had a small order of two small fries, which came in a large delivery bag. The fries were scattered throughout the bag when we got home, so they were cold! The Big Mac sandwich was so dry and disgusting it was inedible. A truly disgusting meal for €18.

Cold fries, wrong drink. Burger wasn't very warm either, unfortunately. Ordered without tomato and received overflowing trash cans, and so on. Everything that could go wrong, basically, goes wrong at this branch.

I went to the mcdrive and I had a Christmas deal it was two burgers for 2.50 but I had to buy two more burgers while the Christmas deal was 2.50 that also says in the McDonald's app 2 burgers for 2.50 I don't think that's possible fix that please

Well, we arrived and went through the mcdrive. We wanted to order with a QR code for that Christmas deal, but the man who took our order couldn't hear us while we were talking loudly and sent us to the first window without any information. There was a woman there. We wanted to order via that QR code, and that was eventually possible, but the machine was acting strangely. In the end, she said it had worked, but she made us pay the full amount. The Christmas deal was 6 euros, but we had to pay for a normal one, about 10 euros. We also stood waiting for her to fix it. It was a 15-minute wait. We weren't happy with this and think we deserve an apology for the inconvenience. She was also very grumpy about it, and wasn't happy at all (and the fries weren't tasty). Normally, yes.

I've been here the last few weeks. The quality is really going downhill. My burgers and fries are always cold. It just tastes like plastic. Disgusting! The staff aren't the friendliest either. I definitely won't be back!

I ordered a McFlurry with caramel and got one with chocolate sauce. After I pointed this out, I immediately received a new one and could keep the other one! The McFlurries are always deliciously filling 👍

At 10:45, the drive-thru announces that the entire breakfast is sold out, while people are still ordering breakfast inside. They're simply lying to their customers.

I went there two weeks ago and after waiting 10 minutes, I got the wrong burger. Just like so many others. Everything was mixed up; you give it back, no apology, everything in the bin and a new one. I went back once more yesterday, having breakfast with the kids at 9 a.m. Well, first I have to use the restroom, because by then you've already eaten, it's so dirty and dirty. I ordered breakfast four times. I got the wrong coffee, but I reluctantly got the right one. The bacon wasn't on the egg, so they forgot again. When I go back, they open it and put half a piece of bacon on it. Dirty tables and especially dirty floor. The staff are all young people who would rather be lazy than tired. I had to give one star because 0 wasn't possible.
