McDonald's in Smakterheide

Superleuk avondje weg met vrienden gehad. We dachten even lekker af te sluiten met McDonald’s… Op de website stond dat ze om 0:30 zouden sluiten. We kwamen om 23:30 aan… bleek het al gesloten te zijn.

It was a big dirty mess. Got the meal in a take-away bag, because there were no more trays. No that's right, they were towering high on the bins! Everywhere trash on the floor. Ugh, no more mc shit for me for a while

Delicious warm burgers, excellent lunch with a break😋

Omg. I've been through a lot and complained a lot, but this beats everything. Completely overcrowded, village youth, masses of families, OK. The staff completely overwhelmed. Ordered via app 10 minutes before arrival and still had to wait 40 minutes in the chaos. Missing items, OK, that can happen, but when I noticed at the counter that every other order was wrong, I left. People, go to the Ruhr area, Cologne or Düsseldorf, it's definitely quicker. The photos in the other garbage truck hadn't been changed in the last few hours. It looked like uncollected bulky waste.

Didn't get what was ordered. "Nuts were gone" paid for but nothing was communicated. In addition, we had to wait 25 minutes for a sundae and a mcflurry. And it's a huge mess with overflowing trash cans and stinking toilets.

Bad presentation, cold fries, bottled drinks, broken upholstery

Hamburgers become more expensive. Visited them in rush hour, well that resulted in a long waiting time. Sorry, next time kfc again.

We first stood in the mc drive for 5 minutes we didn't move an inch then we went inside it was really hot in there. We had ordered our 5 mcflurrys we sat somewhere and then we found it smelled really bad and then we noticed that there was vomit on the floor. We sat somewhere else from that spot we could see that something had gone wrong. Then we got our food after 33 minutes it really took forever. We got our 5 mcflurrys the food was really good.

It's not bad per se, but we personally prefer Burger King🤷🏻‍♀️

I had a menu but didn't get fries. It was either fries or salad. This is not my idea of ​​a menu. And dud way too expensive.

A big chaos, employees are pushing their mustache. Shouting and slow service. They are more busy with each other and how the cash register functions than with the customers. Coffee was cold, you say that is what you get as an answer, that is how we always serve the coffee.

Really disappointing. No veggie nuggets on stock, so ordered a veggie wrap instead, which arrived after waiting 25 minutes in the drive... it got brought to us by uninterested staff. After driving of on the highway we found out it was a regular chicken wrap instead of the veg so it could not be eaten. My opinion of MCD is not high already, and somehow they still manage to disappoint.

Restaurant is often very busy. Waiting times for just 2 cappuccinos more than 20 minutes. This is often the case. Restaurant is too warm inside. Toilet regularly clogged or defects in tap or hand dryer. Too little parking space and unfriendly, disinterested staff.

The worst and slowest experience I have ever had. Random people standing around, laughing and talking. And the food just sits there, without anyone serving it. Catastrophe.

Took way too long and 2 fries were also missing (waited 45 minutes on a Thursday afternoon in the drive through)

I had to wait at the intersection because no one inside had a light go on and directed people from the line of the mc drive to a parking space. Waited 45 minutes, children upset, wife overstimulated, when I got home (5 min drive) my wife missed her burger. I could join the intersection again, plenty of parking, but everyone preferred to stand in line for 2 hours for the drive. 0/10 next time I will drive 30 minutes longer to the burger King in Venlo because then I know I will at least get a hot meal and I won't have to do life-threatening antics to eat.

Dirty, filthy, bad fries. The floor is sticky and the garbage is not emptied. It took 15 minutes before we got the food, and the whole building is filthy. Floor, toilet, tables and garbage cans. We ate there on 26/5/2025 at 20:20, see the photo.

It's a McDonald's! The great virtue is it's dead easy to come off the motorway and get straight back on after your stop - no messing about.

Arrived at the McDrive at 23, didn't get help until I was 30. That's how long it took seriously. If you don't have plans for the rest of your life, take this drive-thru.

Please note that you always get regular McNuggets when you order veggie McNuggets... Really worthless

Reviews are true - this is the slowest Mc I have seen, but maybe it’s normal for Netherlands. Be patient and enjoy.

Guinness record for worlds SLOWEST McDonald’s. 1 cheeseburger meal took 20min. I would suggest that manager optimizes process as there is a clear bottleneck (kitchen) and several people move around don’t do anything. It is a bit of a joke. Please DONT come here, they deserve to be closed and manager fired.

Ordered 6 mcmuffins 4x beef&egg 2x blt&egg. Received 3 mcmuffins. Beef&egg without egg. Too bad I noticed the problem already at home. Waiting time is ridiculous. Always dirty inside.

This is the slowest McDonald's in my life. I never had such a bad experience as here. You hungry, you want to order a fastfood, but you waiting for your order from 20 till 30 min, it's super slowly. Also happens a lot, that order was wrong or incomplete.

Truly a "feeding shed" the average pigsty looks even cleaner...

We stopped for a cup of coffee. What a filthy mess this is. The excrement was on the toilet seat, toilet paper on the floor. In the restaurant a filthy floor and the employees don't seem to be interested in it anymore. Outside on the terrace it's not much better, everywhere rubbish and dirty tables. Not a McDonald's to be proud of I think.

Slow process. Things are not going well in the kitchen and orders are piling up, no stock is being kept and the person at the counter has to collect and present everything. Two members of staff are missing to ensure everything runs smoothly. Shame.

Ate inside. Had to wait a very long time at the cash register (large line of people waiting), could not be taken to the table, all waste bins full, floor and tables not cleaned.

Friendly staff, food was good. Nice terrace. Was very busy when we were there, very hot inside, no air conditioning, several benches were broken, no more seats in the benches. Luckily the weather was nice and there was plenty of room outside.

We zijn ruim een uur bezig geweest om door de McDrive te gaan. Belachelijk traag, er was 1 meisje die de bestelling aannam, deed afrekenen, bakken en uitgifte van eten deed. Logisch dat het zo belachelijk lang duurt en de bestelling niet compleet was.

We arrived to a full Mac, not knowing it would be our worst nightmare. It took more than an hour for 3 cups of coffee and a wrap. The employees had no idea what they were doing, orders were duplicated and there was no organization or structure in sight. Everyone stood at the counter, as all the numbers were taken off the board in a random order, without being ready at all. Once we got our food it had gotten cold as orders were not being completed by the employee who started them. As a result, everyone was at the counter trying to speed up their order, which created a tense atmosphere.

We came for coffee, waited more like 10 minutes in the mcdrive. There were 8 staff members, but not much happened. All this at 10 o'clock in the morning. When we finally had our coffee and sat down on the terrace, it turned out that all the tables and benches were very dirty. Finally, the coffee was also very watery. In short, we won't be coming to Venray anymore.

This is BY FAR the slowest McDonald's I have ever been. 3rd time unavoidable for lunch, tried drive and dining in. It's at least taking twice as long as the 2nd slowest I have seen. Avoid.

Do not order here. Waiting 15 minutes for a small order of 2 burgers.

A bit of a shame. Ordered to eat on the spot. Was there a 15 cent plastic surcharge? But we received a deposit cup. Went to the counter to get those 15 cents back. 2 staff didn't know how that worked. Manager didn't have time and disappeared without wasting a word to me. Then the staff went to the back to ask for another manager. After standing at the counter for 10 minutes, I walked away. Fries were also lukewarm at best. So I will avoid this Mac from now on. Then just take a detour. It's no different....

Way too long a wait by the McDrive. You finally get your milkshake and they are both only half full. Didn't really look like a milkshake either.

Had to wait 50 minutes for cold food. Just do the MC drive and let everyone wait in the restaurant. Several customers already angrily left the building without food.

2x mc flurry pistachio. €8.30. You get 2 cups with at most 2 scoops of ice cream and a dollop of sauce. Service was very friendly.

Crazy busy on a Saturday evening…. Wasn't a success.

Just a Mc D like there are many. It is a well-oiled machine, clean, fast and efficient. Fortunately there were enough staff at the counter, I really hate those annoying ordering kiosks. Update August 20: Really shocked by the prices, 2 Big Mac menus with coke and mayo cost almost €22 together, no, I just don't think it's worth it. I won't come here often anymore. 🤑

Not really friendly staff either, and the shortage hamburger was left getting cold on the counter, waiting until we came back in to pick it up. Where is that already known? instead of Just walk outside to drop it off, hope we can come and pick it up ourselves. Have seen better service at other branches.

Ik wou snel een friet en kipnuggets kopen. Heb ik ruim een half uur voor moeten wachten slechtste mc die ik ken. Volgende keer zou ik door rijden tot een volgende mc.

This place is terrible, manager doesn’t care about anything, when calling acts like don’t hear. Was waiting for 45 minutes and at the end the order wasn’t completely done, didn’t put my 2x fries in 1/10 don’t recommend.

Terrible experience, was waiting 40 minutes, to get my order, and when i get finally that order there was no fries, stuff was not responding to the questions, and one man was complainig why must wait too long, and manager said if he don’t like something he can visit another MC’Donalds. don’t recommend!

Veel en veel te lange wachtijden. Managers niet capabel om zaak te leiden. Uiteindelijk na 45 min een deel van bestelling ontvangen, waarvan frites koud waren. De rest maar in vuilbak gekiept en weggegaan. De laatste keer voor ons. Naar de overbuurman gegaan Hotel Asteria. Prima gegeten en goede bediening.

Wachttijd half uur, vuilnisbakken vol, ongeïnteresseerd personeel, vies toilet. Rijd even door naar een volgende!!
