McDonald's in Binnenstad

Just before closing, they still sell you a menu, but you get swept from your seat and sent outside to eat. You could also use those 10 minutes to clean the other side or stop selling burgers altogether, but just close earlier. Sending customers literally out onto the street is anything but customer-friendly?!! Regardless of time... then stop selling them or mention at the time of purchase that eating must be done outside!!

Just had an ice cream etc. all together. Nice and central in Tilburg with a good view outside.

The best, friendliest, and most fun McDonald's in the Netherlands.

The toilets are dirty, but they charge money for them; all in all, it is a very dirty shop. In many other countries, this restaurant would be closed.

Great job, McDonald's. Employees work like a well-oiled machine.

Limited seating when the upper floor is closed

A large McDonald's where everything runs efficiently and quickly. The food is always nice and hot, and the staff is neat and friendly. However, you do sometimes notice that they can't keep up with everything. I know that is beyond the employees' control, but I wanted to mention it.

There is nothing to complain about regarding the food. That is just like at every McDonald's. But the toilets (I was there on a normal weekday evening) I would be ashamed. Sooooo dirty. And nowadays they charge money for the toilet for people who don't eat at McDonald's. Then you would expect it to be a bit neat and clean. Also, the trash cans were overflowing; trays were stacked sky-high. I was sitting on a bench behind the trash can myself and got a tray thrown at my neck twice. With fries sauce and everything on my pants. If you then walk to the counter, you get a napkin and then you have to sort it out yourself. No more McDonald's Tilburg city center for me. As far as I'm concerned, that building there should be torn down (bring back the beautiful square from the past). And then put the McDonald's in one of the vacant buildings on Heuvelstraat.

Because I prefer to pay in cash, I walked to the counter to order. Although there were plenty of employees walking around, no one seemed to be in charge of the cash register. After being ignored for 5 minutes, I left without any food. It is a fine branch if you want to order via the self-service kiosk and card, but unfortunately, the service at the counter was non-existent during my visit.

During the busy fair, with a lot of staff at work, the orders went very quickly.

Good service, just very busy, Tilburg fairgrounds of course, but I still got my order reasonably quickly.

What a disaster! I was a customer at the restaurant. They made me pay for the restroom! Furthermore, I didn't have cash, so I couldn't pay by card. This was the first time I'd encountered such a situation at McDonald's!

Every such establishment is a nightmare.

Waiting for just a McFlurry for more than 10 minutes and this is the result, and also very stingy. Normally you get more ice cream than this, this is a disgrace, even McReeshof gives more than this desperate ice cream.

Buns on big mac were placed wrong and fries were partially filled.

Something went wrong with the order. Then, behind the counter, there was someone in a shirt who claimed to be the manager. He spoke very broken Dutch. He then had to pass the mistake on to kitchen staff who spoke no Dutch and barely any English. As a result, he almost made a mistake. I understand the staff shortage, but a manager should at least speak Dutch, and other staff should speak at least good English.

Is it not funny to anyone that even the toilet is paid? 😂. If I don't have money, I'll sit right at the door)

A regular 2-story McDonalds restaurant. On the 2nd floor of the establishment, there is a toilet for visitors. During peak hours, the order had to wait 7-10 minutes. The service is friendly, always ready to meet you.

The burger was very good and, most importantly, hot.

Friendly team, patient when people order at the bar, better than in Belgium. Moves along quickly.

My wrap for old kyrczak or fried in very old oil... I do not recommend it

Bad service and food took a long time

M's cappuccino is always top-notch, but I have no idea why it takes so long at 3 p.m. in a rather empty branch. Charging my phone isn't possible because ALL USB ports are broken (a shame, but probably beyond my control), and even with a new plug, it was unfortunately no success, despite the willingness of one attentive employee. The men's restroom gets no rating because: urine on the floor (resulting in an unbearable stench), a small alcohol bottle on the floor, a broken tap, and to top it all off, no lock on the door. A restroom attendant is therefore unfortunately indispensable here. Photos available upon request.

I just wanted to use the toilet because I wasn't feeling well, but the lock had been removed. I still had to pay a euro for an unusable toilet; someone had already pulled the door open. I walked downstairs to complain and hopefully get my money back. Only one person speaks Dutch, and they said, "Yes, we did that, we removed the lock," and that I should just go somewhere else then. But they do make people pay to use this pathetic toilet.

I had to wait an hour for my food, and when I asked how much longer it would take, she said I just had to wait.

We had to wait 1 hour and 30 minutes for an ice cream, and when I asked what was going on, I was ignored. The service was bad, and the ice cream was practically melted when I received it. Worst experience at McDonald's ever.

No atmosphere, pagers going off that they won't turn off even though they're right next to them, and waiting 15 minutes for one sandwich – a bit of a shame, and this is definitely the last time here.

It’s already 8 days since the TinyTAN Happy Meal should be available (from September 3rd), but at McDonald’s in Tilburg it’s still missing! Every time the same answer: “not available, not available, not available.” No toys, no TinyTAN Happy Meal at all! In other countries it’s already available, but here in Tilburg still nothing. This is outrageous and completely unacceptable!

Great McDonalds, fast and fairly quiet

Fast food is just the name. I wait 30 minutes every time, even for a small order, and in the meantime, they're serving another 10 orders.

McDonald's remains a reliable choice for a quick and tasty bite. The food is always freshly prepared, and the service is fast, even at peak times. The atmosphere is informal and cozy, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Ideal for a quick meal or a quick bite with friends. McDonald's never disappoints!

Everything was cold and half hadn't been delivered. I called and they said everything would be delivered again, and after an hour, still nothing.

I only went because the bar I normally go to was closed and my son wanted to eat. Very disappointed in the burger size, they seem to be shrinking.. also a lock on the toilet and a code printed on a receipt, that's just stupid..

After waiting 30 minutes, we got our food. I asked if they could work a little faster, and they threw my McChicken at me. There was also hair on my food, which is very tasty, of course. The manager is just as unfriendly as the staff. Even for a McDonald's, this place is terrible.

Atmosphere and McDonald's don't really mix, so that's a standard 1. But oh, how patient you have to be for your food here. Fast food isn't a household name here.

I was here during the fair. It's much busier than usual then, which also affects the quality, service, and atmosphere. The food wasn't fresh, the tables weren't cleared, and the floor was sticky. So, 3 stars this time. I'm sure everything looks great inside outside the fair.

The service by the guy in charge was excellent. Really friendly and informative. Food wait was minimal and it was hot, tasty and one of the Best Macdonalds meals we have had. Well done!

We always think McDonald's is pretty good, but in recent years it has often been a mess in terms of cleanliness. There are packaging lying around everywhere and the waste bins are not properly maintained. The tables are no longer neatly maintained and you regularly find some remains of sauces on them, including on the floor. Too bad the problem will be difficult to solve because it is probably due to insufficient staff.

I ordered a MC flurry and a Big Mac (on a Friday night). What they do is they make the Mac flurry as fast as possible and have it ready while the Big Mac still has to be made (while the MC flurry is already melting!) Then I tell the gentleman (long blond hair with glasses) that I want to take it with me. What does this gentleman do? He puts a warm Big Mac together with the flurry in 1 bag!

Waited 25 minutes for a nugget combo takeaway, had to ask for them to find the order, girl all but threw the bag at me. Fries half empty, no napkins, didn’t care at all.

During Carnival it is very busy and many items are sold out or gone.

A huge disappointment: no clean tables, a filthy floor, and trash everywhere. And then I got a frozen burger... It's a great advertisement that everything is freshly prepared, but NOT in Tilburg City Center. Visited again today, July 29, 2025. Still a remarkable restaurant in the McDonald's chain. Extremely filthy, everything, including the restroom. A real outlier. Table service has also been turned off; lazy bastards there.

Very bad now, when it's a fair you have to pay for the toilet while you order for 3 people and walk to the toilet with the receipt. I understand that you want to keep it clean, but if you let people pay who don't eat, it's really sad.

Horrible McDonald's. I have never seen such slowness anywhere. The kitchen staff pretends to work, the manager hangs around doing nothing, orders take longer than 10 minutes to be served, which is considered unacceptable within the framework of this establishment.

During the fair, you have to pay to use the toilet. Not 50 cents, but 1 euro. A complete disgrace. And then they come up with the excuse that they've outsourced the cleaning.

Where has the customer-friendly, broadly smiling McDonald's employee gone? The demise of McDonald's On a Thursday afternoon, after at least 15 years, I was craving a good old-fashioned plain hamburger, the kind I only know from McDonald's. Unfamiliar with modern ordering kiosks, I finally managed, after a bit of searching and scrolling past the most lavish and luxurious burgers (read: most expensive), to swipe right on to... the plain hamburger. For 2. Pay. I wasn't interested in the recommended options; I wanted 2 burgers. Paid, receipt printed. And then. Excuse me, it's been a while, but where am I supposed to go with that receipt? I went to the counter, where five people were standing, mostly talking to each other, paying no attention to the guests/customers. I asked politely, but feeling lost, where I should get my food. I was addressed by a young woman who replied haughtily and curtly, "English." I politely asked, "Where do I get my food?" I explained to her in English that I hadn't been here in 15 years. She checked my receipt and arrogantly replied that I "just ordered" and "You just have to wait your turn" (!?). She rudely asked, as if I were an idiot, "What do you mean, fifteen years?" If I hadn't already paid, I would have walked out. I told her again that I hadn't been to this McDonald's in 15 years, but she didn't understand and clearly wasn't interested (not that it was busy; apart from two girls, I was the only one waiting). I just walked to the "waiting area" (which used to be at most the fast lane, where you could still get straws and ketchup) while at least six girls behind the counter were chatting in foreign languages about what was probably the fairground setup and looking outside. Until I saw the sign with the call numbers, and I imagined myself at the injection clinic at the hospital or pharmacy. Numbers on the screen instead of the familiar menus, burgers, and prices. I quickly glanced at my receipt, and yes, it was my turn. "Number 37." Without any form of (eye) contact, a bag was shoved into my hands in an antisocial manner after I confirmed on the receipt that I was "number 37." Bewildered, I walked away, wondering what had happened. Instead of a tasty meal or "enjoy your meal," I was met with a rude "you're welcome." No smile, just irritation and an attitude as if those chicks work in a boutique on Rodeo Drive and don't speak a word of Dutch. And sell HAMBURGERS. To eat a dry burger at home that doesn't even LOOK like the one I know all too well. One slice of pickle, no mustard or onion in sight. The ketchup bottle was almost empty, too. If I want a burger, it's a Mac. This wasn't a Mac. This wasn't the service I was used to from the friendly ladies and gentlemen behind the counter, as I knew them. Which, after 15 years, I'm just getting "a familiar burger." There's nothing familiar about it anymore. Not about the whole concept. Simply antisocial and nowhere near the McDonald's I used to frequent. I understand times change, but as a company that clings so strongly to its vision and mission, McDonald's has missed the mark. McDonald's, wherever you are in the world, I bid you farewell. Febo has better burgers. A friendly smile included. I'm Lovin' It. Oh, and you're missing an option below: "pickup on site" (it used to be "take away or eat here").

One of the most unhygienic McDonald's I have ever seen. If you want hair on your burger that is tougher than the sole of your shoe, this is the place to go. By the way, the staff literally pushes you aside as if you don't exist. Apparently that is the most normal thing in the world here

Went to this McDonalds around half past nine in the morning to quickly eat something before school. I only ordered 1x BigMac and 1x Coke 1x Large fries. I had to wait 30 minutes for my food while I was one of the only customers at that time. Eventually the food arrived but the fries were lukewarm and the BigMac was cold. There was more ice in the coke than coke and the staff is not very friendly not even a tasty meal from the staff like in all other McDonaldsen. They also don't look like they like to work. Very bad.

I ordered a large mac wrap but got the small one and I had fries and a hamburger but everything was cold and not tasty and the employees were not friendly or they don't want to work there I have seen better McDonalds

Super dirty toilets and loose toilet seats and it's outrageous that you have to pay €1 for that, I reported it to the staff but unfortunately they don't do anything about it, also sticky tables 🤮

Very dirty, order was wrong twice

The umpteenth time I arrive home and my order is not complete. Every time I miss something, now another burger.

A big compliment to the lady, I think team leader, who worked on Tuesday, April 8, late afternoon and evening. I came with my two children who had been waiting for days to go so they could get a Minecraft toy. These were completely sold out around 5 p.m., they only had the booklets left. The team leader saw how annoying this was (my 8-year-old son was in tears) and immediately thought of a solution. In the evening there would be an order with the Minecraft toys. I was still allowed to pick up two for both kids. Once I arrived, to make up for it, she gave me not one but two toys per child, plus we could keep the booklet and didn't have to exchange it for the toy. Really sweet, I had two very happy children the next morning! Thank you very much, something so small but so important for a child and she understood that. Super service!

The food is standard mac food, but all the tables are really filthy!!!! And a paying toilet that is also super dirty!!!!!!!! And when you ask them to clean tables, they also give you a super arrogant look. It was definitely not nice to come back here after years. So they will never see me again here!!! Oh yes, the best part was that it was very busy, but they did close the top floor

Save receipt for toilet code. Otherwise you have to pay. Disabled toilet was clogged. So the child did not dare to flush there. Lots of English speaking staff

I waited 3 hours for the delivery

If you had a bad day, you order 3 hours in advance and they don't deliver it and they tell you an hour after delivery time that it won't work

We wanted to order a senior coffee. We were answered in English with we don't have that. Why not, and at all other Mac Donald's in the Netherlands.

The food is of course standard McDonald's food. There's not much special about that. But the service in this restaurant is very bad. We only received our order after 15 minutes (2 chicken sensations + mozzarella sticks). The sandwich was not neatly prepared. We also received chicken tenders instead of the mozzarella sticks. When we pointed this out, the tenders were immediately thrown into the trash. A bit of a shame when you look at the food waste.
