McDonald's in Binnenstad

Atmosphere and McDonald's don't really mix, so that's a standard 1. But oh, how patient you have to be for your food here. Fast food isn't a household name here.

I was here during the fair. It's much busier than usual then, which also affects the quality, service, and atmosphere. The food wasn't fresh, the tables weren't cleared, and the floor was sticky. So, 3 stars this time. I'm sure everything looks great inside outside the fair.

Oh, just McDonald's, right? Just getting used to the ordering process.

The service by the guy in charge was excellent. Really friendly and informative. Food wait was minimal and it was hot, tasty and one of the Best Macdonalds meals we have had. Well done!

We always think McDonald's is pretty good, but in recent years it has often been a mess in terms of cleanliness. There are packaging lying around everywhere and the waste bins are not properly maintained. The tables are no longer neatly maintained and you regularly find some remains of sauces on them, including on the floor. Too bad the problem will be difficult to solve because it is probably due to insufficient staff.

Everything was well taken care of, only a pity that nothing is said to customers who smoke on the smoke-free terrace

I ordered a MC flurry and a Big Mac (on a Friday night). What they do is they make the Mac flurry as fast as possible and have it ready while the Big Mac still has to be made (while the MC flurry is already melting!) Then I tell the gentleman (long blond hair with glasses) that I want to take it with me. What does this gentleman do? He puts a warm Big Mac together with the flurry in 1 bag!

Waited 25 minutes for a nugget combo takeaway, had to ask for them to find the order, girl all but threw the bag at me. Fries half empty, no napkins, didn’t care at all.

During Carnival it is very busy and many items are sold out or gone.

A huge disappointment: no clean tables, a filthy floor, and trash everywhere. And then I got a frozen burger... It's a great advertisement that everything is freshly prepared, but NOT in Tilburg City Center. Visited again today, July 29, 2025. Still a remarkable restaurant in the McDonald's chain. Extremely filthy, everything, including the restroom. A real outlier. Table service has also been turned off; lazy bastards there.

Very bad now, when it's a fair you have to pay for the toilet while you order for 3 people and walk to the toilet with the receipt. I understand that you want to keep it clean, but if you let people pay who don't eat, it's really sad.

You have to wait standing for a long time

Just like all McDonald's. I went one day at the fair and it was packed.

During the fair, you have to pay to use the toilet. Not 50 cents, but 1 euro. A complete disgrace. And then they come up with the excuse that they've outsourced the cleaning.

Horrible McDonald's. I have never seen such slowness anywhere. The kitchen staff pretends to work, the manager hangs around doing nothing, orders take longer than 10 minutes to be served, which is considered unacceptable within the framework of this establishment.

Where has the customer-friendly, broadly smiling McDonald's employee gone? The demise of McDonald's On a Thursday afternoon, after at least 15 years, I was craving a good old-fashioned plain hamburger, the kind I only know from McDonald's. Unfamiliar with modern ordering kiosks, I finally managed, after a bit of searching and scrolling past the most lavish and luxurious burgers (read: most expensive), to swipe right on to... the plain hamburger. For 2. Pay. I wasn't interested in the recommended options; I wanted 2 burgers. Paid, receipt printed. And then. Excuse me, it's been a while, but where am I supposed to go with that receipt? I went to the counter, where five people were standing, mostly talking to each other, paying no attention to the guests/customers. I asked politely, but feeling lost, where I should get my food. I was addressed by a young woman who replied haughtily and curtly, "English." I politely asked, "Where do I get my food?" I explained to her in English that I hadn't been here in 15 years. She checked my receipt and arrogantly replied that I "just ordered" and "You just have to wait your turn" (!?). She rudely asked, as if I were an idiot, "What do you mean, fifteen years?" If I hadn't already paid, I would have walked out. I told her again that I hadn't been to this McDonald's in 15 years, but she didn't understand and clearly wasn't interested (not that it was busy; apart from two girls, I was the only one waiting). I just walked to the "waiting area" (which used to be at most the fast lane, where you could still get straws and ketchup) while at least six girls behind the counter were chatting in foreign languages about what was probably the fairground setup and looking outside. Until I saw the sign with the call numbers, and I imagined myself at the injection clinic at the hospital or pharmacy. Numbers on the screen instead of the familiar menus, burgers, and prices. I quickly glanced at my receipt, and yes, it was my turn. "Number 37." Without any form of (eye) contact, a bag was shoved into my hands in an antisocial manner after I confirmed on the receipt that I was "number 37." Bewildered, I walked away, wondering what had happened. Instead of a tasty meal or "enjoy your meal," I was met with a rude "you're welcome." No smile, just irritation and an attitude as if those chicks work in a boutique on Rodeo Drive and don't speak a word of Dutch. And sell HAMBURGERS. To eat a dry burger at home that doesn't even LOOK like the one I know all too well. One slice of pickle, no mustard or onion in sight. The ketchup bottle was almost empty, too. If I want a burger, it's a Mac. This wasn't a Mac. This wasn't the service I was used to from the friendly ladies and gentlemen behind the counter, as I knew them. Which, after 15 years, I'm just getting "a familiar burger." There's nothing familiar about it anymore. Not about the whole concept. Simply antisocial and nowhere near the McDonald's I used to frequent. I understand times change, but as a company that clings so strongly to its vision and mission, McDonald's has missed the mark. McDonald's, wherever you are in the world, I bid you farewell. Febo has better burgers. A friendly smile included. I'm Lovin' It. Oh, and you're missing an option below: "pickup on site" (it used to be "take away or eat here").

Pretty bad they had no more trays so you got it in a bag. If he wants to go to the toilet it's a hassle with a code. I thought it wasn't arranged well.

One of the most unhygienic McDonald's I have ever seen. If you want hair on your burger that is tougher than the sole of your shoe, this is the place to go. By the way, the staff literally pushes you aside as if you don't exist. Apparently that is the most normal thing in the world here

I ordered a large mac wrap but got the small one and I had fries and a hamburger but everything was cold and not tasty and the employees were not friendly or they don't want to work there I have seen better McDonalds

Went to this McDonalds around half past nine in the morning to quickly eat something before school. I only ordered 1x BigMac and 1x Coke 1x Large fries. I had to wait 30 minutes for my food while I was one of the only customers at that time. Eventually the food arrived but the fries were lukewarm and the BigMac was cold. There was more ice in the coke than coke and the staff is not very friendly not even a tasty meal from the staff like in all other McDonaldsen. They also don't look like they like to work. Very bad.

Super dirty toilets and loose toilet seats and it's outrageous that you have to pay €1 for that, I reported it to the staff but unfortunately they don't do anything about it, also sticky tables 🤮

Very dirty, order was wrong twice

A big compliment to the lady, I think team leader, who worked on Tuesday, April 8, late afternoon and evening. I came with my two children who had been waiting for days to go so they could get a Minecraft toy. These were completely sold out around 5 p.m., they only had the booklets left. The team leader saw how annoying this was (my 8-year-old son was in tears) and immediately thought of a solution. In the evening there would be an order with the Minecraft toys. I was still allowed to pick up two for both kids. Once I arrived, to make up for it, she gave me not one but two toys per child, plus we could keep the booklet and didn't have to exchange it for the toy. Really sweet, I had two very happy children the next morning! Thank you very much, something so small but so important for a child and she understood that. Super service!

The food is standard mac food, but all the tables are really filthy!!!! And a paying toilet that is also super dirty!!!!!!!! And when you ask them to clean tables, they also give you a super arrogant look. It was definitely not nice to come back here after years. So they will never see me again here!!! Oh yes, the best part was that it was very busy, but they did close the top floor

I saw a employee using his bare hands when making a burger. Not cool dude. No glove no love.

Order quickly and easily. Orders are processed carefully and checked that everything from your order is present. Good team.

Your average McDonald's, but in the center of Tilburg. It's nice that you have windows all around and can enjoy people watching.

If you go to McDonalds specifically for a McFlurry, the ordering kiosk will tell you that it is sold out. If you ask, there is an option to order at the cash register. When it's finally your turn after 20, there is STILL no ice. Just be honest and say there is no McFlurry/ice cream.

Save receipt for toilet code. Otherwise you have to pay. Disabled toilet was clogged. So the child did not dare to flush there. Lots of English speaking staff

I waited 3 hours for the delivery

If you had a bad day, you order 3 hours in advance and they don't deliver it and they tell you an hour after delivery time that it won't work

We wanted to order a senior coffee. We were answered in English with we don't have that. Why not, and at all other Mac Donald's in the Netherlands.

The food is of course standard McDonald's food. There's not much special about that. But the service in this restaurant is very bad. We only received our order after 15 minutes (2 chicken sensations + mozzarella sticks). The sandwich was not neatly prepared. We also received chicken tenders instead of the mozzarella sticks. When we pointed this out, the tenders were immediately thrown into the trash. A bit of a shame when you look at the food waste.

I understand paying for using a toilet, when this one is kept clean, not for happily discovering it's disgusting right after paying 🙂

It wasn't busy at all, but we still had to wait 15 minutes for some lukewarm egg mcmuffins. When we indicated that we did not have the order yet (the order had already been off the plate for 5+ minutes), the employee ensured that we received our order as quickly as possible. Otherwise just a bad experience... Not 'fast' food...

The best manager I have ever had, after we came off the 013 stage from a concert we had a bit of time and the manager made sure we made it to our destination

A drive can go through and orders are taken. Other drive just stands still. Few Dutch-speaking employees. Shame

Mc donald tilburg is one of my favourites

You've been sitting upstairs for an hour, wondering when someone will come and clean something because every table is dirty, as is the floor. And when someone finally comes and sweeps the floor, the table next to me is quickly swept with the broom that you use to clean the floor. When I spoke to the staff about it, the lady couldn't see any wrongdoing on her part. If anyone thinks that the table was wiped down afterwards - no answer. Dirt to the power of ten. You'll never see me again.

Delivery is extremely expensive and if mistakes are made you can pick it up yourself. Lousy service for a lot of money.

Doesn't even deserve 1 star. My cookie was gray on the inside and when I mentioned it to the manager he became completely unfriendly. I asked for a new cookie or my money back and that was not allowed either. It looked like mold and was inedible. I don't recommend it because they are racists too! Bad staff and I was treated very badly

So shamefully expensive, I spent a month's salary on fries and a spicy McChicken. Staff were in good spirits. Annoying children running around screaming did not improve the ambiance.

Food is okay, only ice cream was waiting too long and had already melted. Some of the staff do not speak Dutch and are disinterested. Toilets are only accessible with a receipt, but it did not come out of the device because it was broken or empty. When I asked the staff, I was politely told that they would report it in English, so I went somewhere else to use a toilet.

terrible service, I will never eat at this mcdonald's again. they didn't add chicken to the chicken salad for 6 euros and don't have a fork to eat, am I a cow to eat grass like a bulldozer with my mouth? No sugar sticks were added to the coffee. complete horror 0/5, I have not yet experienced such emotions from institutions, management, follow your 18 year old staff!!!

As someone who used to work here, they dont follow hygiene rules except when some inspector checked ! The managers especially Sjoukje are terrible and unprofessional and rude towards employees (ive heard the same experience from loads of people) please give Sjoukje a raise so shes less grumpy 😩 Update: actually all the managers were weird except Diba

Food is tasty, chicken tastes a bit strange but it is tasty, but I asked where the toilet was and the lady was grumpy, but yes, good service.

There were a few boys bothering my company and me. Have pelted us with their garbage. Fortunately this only happened once, further general experience is fine :) Mac.donalds isn't that overly general, :D

Great thing. Too bad that only 2 ordering kiosks work. We were lucky that there was no one in front of us, but after us there was a really long line where people had to wait 10-15 minutes before they could even place their order.

Half of the 'control poles' were out of order and if the pole I ordered from did not give a receipt. Table was not really clean.

NO MEAT, ONLY FRIES! The fries were perfectly cooked: nice and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, just the way I like them best. What really topped it off was the sauce. I opted for the curry sauce, and it was simply delicious – full of flavor and a perfect complement to the fries. I also ordered a Frappuccino, and that was the perfect refreshment on this hot day. Nice and creamy, not too sweet, and just the right balance between coffee and ice cream. Highly recommended if you like a cold coffee drink! All in all a successful snack experience. McDonald's remains a nice place for a quick and delicious meal.

Either the management is terrible, or they just happen to always hire people who can't read. It is almost standard that you miss 40% of your order. But it doesn't matter anyway because every idiot (including me) just keeps clapping.

Received regular coke because the ordered coke zero had run out! Without notice. I have diabetes and often recognize the taste, so back to the (English speaking) employee who pushed my cup back with rolling eyes... nonchalant attitude! Finally had some contact and hopefully they will include this in their training!!

I want to get 6 nuggets on my birthday as described online. I showed my app and offered to show my ID, but because the coupon does not load, I still have to pay for it and I was also looked at grumpily. Nice service. Then I want to go to the toilet. "free for guests" is very nice, but we didn't receive a receipt so that's 1 euro per person. And then that thing refuses my debit card.

Normally not a fan of this McDonald's, things regularly go wrong and a complete order is more the exception than the rule. The case again today, but for the first time in a class solved by the manager (woman, long dark hair). Took over the situation from her (international) employees without any questions and, when she thought it was taking too long, even offered the necessary compensation. Top service from the best lady!

Eating was fine. Toilets were filthy. Clean a little more often.
